SPEAKER_02When you know who you are, you will act like who you are. When you don't know who you are, you won't act like who you are. A cat meal because it's a cat, you know his nation. A dog bark because he know who he is, a dog. But God's people, some of them don't know who they are. We're gonna talk to some of the things that who you are. Let's turn, um let's talk a little bit on Friday night. That's how you begin to receive the things that you when you know that you know who you are. You first know who Jesus is, then you know who you are. That's how you know who you are. Second Corinthians, we read this Friday night, but we're gonna read it again. Before we read that one, let's go to the other one first, uh Tyree. First Peter, excuse me, first Peter 2 and 9. Y'all know these skills by heart mostly. 1 Peter 2 and 9. Let me know when you get it. Who are you? See, the enemy wants to know do you know who you are? You don't know who you are, he can trick you very good. But when you know that you know that you know who you are, you'll begin to act like who you are. That's that's why a lot of people act the way they act because they don't know who they are. When you realize you like you, all you both you say, you're a child of God. You don't belong to yourself, belong to Jesus. Once you accept him as your Lord and Savior, you belong to him. So we won't do anything we want to do. That's why I'm asking you to question do you know who you are? You won't do anything you want to do with your body because you realize my body don't belong to me, it belongs to Jesus. Very important. But if we don't know who we are, we begin to act like this, like who we thought we were. That's acting like the world. But when we know who we are, I don't care who we are around, we're gonna act like who we are. But if we don't know who we are, we get around somebody acting this way to act that way, we begin to act like them because we don't know that I'm a Christian, I'm a child of God. A child of God acts in certain ways, and a child of the devil acting in certain ways. So who are you? Act like who you are.
SPEAKER_011 Peter 2 and 9.
SPEAKER_02Come on, uh Tyree.
SPEAKER_011 Peter 2 and 9. But you are a chosen generation.
SPEAKER_02You are punctual baptized born-again Christians. You are a chosen, God has chosen you. You are a chosen generation. See, you got to let the devil know when he comes after you. You, I don't belong to you. I am a chosen generation. I belong to Jesus, and I'm gonna give him the praise. And you won't get the enemy the praise, but you give God the praise. That's right. I am a chosen generation. That's why you gotta let you got to speak this word. If you don't know who you are, you can't speak it. You can only speak what you know. Go ahead, Tyria. You are a what? A chosen. You have been chosen.
SPEAKER_01All right, a royal priesthood and holy nation.
SPEAKER_02You are a holy nation, you are royal priesthood. That's who you are. Well, I think you're a child of God. You are royal priesthood, you are a holy nation. You are a nation that's set apart for God. Your life is set apart for God. A holy nation. That's who you are. Life set aside. Your life is set aside for God. You can see all the things that the enemy is doing, but I don't care how much the dog see a cat doing this, uh a bear doing this, or whatever it is, the dog gonna know who he is. Cats gonna know who they are. That's what I'm talking about when you know who you are. But if you don't know who you are, you begin to act like them. You walk in somewhere in the store, or wherever you at, or in an amusement park, wherever you at, wherever you at, you see them up there doing the dance and playing secular music, all that kind of stuff. You begin to dance over too because you don't know who you are. It doesn't glorify God, y'all. So you begin to act like the world, but you have to look at yourself and say, I am a chosen generation, I am a holy people, a royal pre sure. That's who you are. Let the devil know who you are. So if you don't know who you are, he'll he'll identify you. You gotta identify yourself with his words. You don't want the enemy to identify you because he's gonna tell you you belong to him. It's all right to do that, it's all right to do this, it's all right to be that. So when you know deep down inside, the greater one lives on the inside of you. That's who you are. What the next verse says? What's you finna read that scripture? Oh my Bible turned from there. First Peter 2 and 9.
SPEAKER_01A peculiar people. What kind of people are we all? Peculiar. Peculiar.
SPEAKER_02People, we we're different. People look at us sometimes. People think Christians are crazy. You don't act the way they act. You don't lie like they lie, you don't get on social media and put out all this mess about other people. They say something wrong with you. You don't realize something wrong with them. But this ain't something wrong with you because you're not acting like them. You are a peculiar people. God has chosen you. That's what I'm talking about. What else in there? My Bible transforms that. Anything else in there?
SPEAKER_01That you should show forth the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
SPEAKER_02God is saying we should show forth the praises. Why sit back and lay back like you're being entertained? Show forth what praise. Why when you begin to realize that you have been chosen to show forth what? The praises, the praises, how good God is. What a mighty God we serve. That's what I'm talking about. See, man. Showing forth the praise. How good God is. When you really know who you are, you begin to act like people say, What are you doing? You sitting beside somebody who don't want to praise God. He's looking at you, and you can know how happy. You got the joy of the Lord, it's your strength. You can know happy and everything. And he's kind of figuring like what's going on. What do they don't feel what you're feeling? Because you got him on the inside. That's what I'm talking about. He's on the inside, working on the outside, bringing about a change. Well, in our hearts, that's right. Oh, God, hallelujah. That's what you do. Show forth the prayer. Anything else in that scripture, uh, Tyree? No. Okay. Now that's one of the ones. You are a shower. You have been chosen, a chosen generation. Showing forth the prayer. Holy, you are a holy nation. That's who you are. That's who you are. All right, let's look at 2 Corinthians. We talk about that Friday night, 5 and 21. See, when you really know who you are, then you'll trust God with your life. You believe God. Whatever God said about your situation, you'll stain on. But I say, I don't care how the devil try to push you off it, you'll stain on. No, devil. I am a chosen generation. You don't know who you're talking to, devil. I am a chosen, I'm a royal priesthood. I'm a holy nation. You got to let the enemy know where he gets off at. You got to know who you are, because if you don't know who you are, he's gonna identify you. That's what I'm talking about. 2 Corinthians 5 and 21. If you gotta stop laying back, like we laying back in the sun, getting the tan, but we need to be giving God the praise. When you begin to praise them, the doors begin to open. What happened when the uh uh Solomon and Paul and Solomon in jail? What happened when you begin to praise God? No chains broke. Yeah, people got saved. Hey, glory. That's what God's looking for. When we begin to praise him, something happened in the spirit. See, that's why they want you to shut your mouth. Don't say nothing, don't open your mouth. He wants you to keep your mouth closed. Why do he want you to keep it closed? Because he knows something's gonna happen when that anointed flow out of you. Somebody's gonna get delivered, somebody's gonna get set free. That's why the disciples looked at Jesus. They couldn't understand. I don't understand. He can speak to the winds, and the winds obey him. They wanted what he had. That's why they said, Lord, teach us how to pray. We want to know how to pray, but we want to get the victory too. They watch. You see what I'm saying? Catch on. All right, second Corinthians 5 and 21.
SPEAKER_01What it said, for he has made him to be sinned for us who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
SPEAKER_02You see who you are? You are the righteousness of God. That's who you are. You are the righteousness of God in him. Y'all understand that? All that's in the child of God. All the benefits that we had because of Jesus went to that cross. Bible said we're not serving a high priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of infirmity. But he was in all points, he was tempted just like you and I. But it didn't bow down to the enemy because he knew his purpose. He knew why he was here. The Bible said, for the joy set before him. He endured, went through. He didn't groan and complain. Oh, I gotta go through. Oh, I gotta die for these people. Oh, this, oh that he didn't wait till we say, Yes, Lord, I serve you. Bible said, Why we were yet sinners? He died for us. Why we were yet sinners? We didn't want to be bothered with him. Turn your back. Somebody try to witness to you. You didn't want to be bothered. Because we saw we were having a good time in the world. Now realizing that day by day we were dying days. We were dying. Dying. The enemy beginning to take us out. But now we realize who we are. We are the righteousness of God in him. That's why Paul was able to say, In him I live. In him I move. In him I have my being. I am complete. Don't need nothing added. In him. I am complete in him. That's what you have to say when the enemy comes in like a flood. Spirit of God in you. Let the devil know who you are. You know no longer my master. I have a new master. His name is Jesus. See, we got and we know that we act like it. But why is it that this people, some people, forget who they are when the enemy comes after them? He allows the enemy to identify them and still allow the word of God to identify you. You got to realize, Jesus, I give you power. You got it. But use it. Just like having a gun and somebody break into your heart and use it in the world. You had a gun, you use it. But now what? The weapon of our warfare is not corner. But might you go to the pulling down strongholds? He gives us these weapons. We gotta he told us what to be strong where in yourself, in the Lord. In the power of his might, not your might, not your strength. We're trying to do things in our own strength. Wonder why we keep sailing, sailing, sailing, sailing, sailing. Because God, you can't do it in your own strength. None of us in here. And none of us in here powerful enough to do it in our own strength. That's why Jesus had to go to the cross every day. If it had not been for that, he wouldn't have had to go to the cross if we could do it in our own strength. But we couldn't. We couldn't deliver ourselves. We was a mess. Every one of us was a wreck. Some people might say, Well, I didn't do that must. I didn't do what they did. They were fooled, they were homemonging, and we were like that murdering somebody, and they did this, and he did that. We just don't make no difference what you did. You were born in sin. You came in this world out of your mother's womb, you were in sin. Born in sin, Bible says, shaving in iniquity. Must be born again. Gotta be. Nicodemus didn't understand it. You gotta be born again of the world and of the spirit. Yeah, he had all this education, ruler, teacher. But he didn't understand being born. God must go back into my mother's womb, be born again. Couldn't understand it. The natural mind can't understand the saints of God. That's why a lot of people don't understand no. He comes around you think you cuckoo, something wrong. He acting silly, he acting funny. They don't understand. You're peculiar, you're peculiar people. That's what God calls us. That's what He calls peculiar. But people call you crazy. Something wrong with your mind. But then you have to let them know no, I got the mind of Christ. See, that's who you are. We gotta begin to speak these things so we can receive the things that God got for us. You should have what you say. You should have what you say. That's what you say. But it's faith. You gotta be a faith walk. Yeah, but I can't see it. You ain't supposed to see for believe it. He never told you to see it. He said, believe. If I can believe, all things are possible to them that believe. So that she read that. Read to go back up two verses to uh 5.17. Second Corinthians, same chapter, 5.17. In the same chapter.
SPEAKER_012 Corinthians 5.17. Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. All things are passed away. Behold, all things are become new.
SPEAKER_02All things now have become new. If you are in Christ Jesus, now you got to realize are you in Christ Jesus? You can ask yourself that question. How do I know if I'm in him or not? Can you answer that? Therefore, as any man be in Christ Jesus, you got to be in him. He ain't say I saw him. You are a new creature. All things pass away. Behold, all things has become what? Why are people trying to keep hold on to the past? That's what they used to, the flesh used to. So they're holding on to the past, trying to do it in their own strength, and it ain't working. It ain't working. Why do you want to keep doing something that ain't working? If you get in the car and keep turning the the put the key in there and they say don't turn over, it ain't working, y'all. You might as well just go and get out. It ain't working. You might need some gas. Battery or whatever. Something going down. So it ain't working. Why are you gonna keep sitting there? But it ain't working. If something ain't working, what are you gonna keep staying there all day long and keep trying to make it work? Go get some gas and put it in it. I'll check the battery. Like you said, battery. What's causing it not to work? What causes us not to believe God's word? We got to check ourselves. I said, What is causing me not to believe what God works up in my situation? Unbelief. That's what your unbelief. Because of your unbelief, you could not receive it. Ain't that something? Ain't nobody else in your way. Ain't nobody else stopping you, you stopping yourself. You can't hinder nobody else, can't you? You can't put on somebody else. Well, this person, if it wasn't for them, I would have been going along with you. I would have been doing this, that, that. No, it can't nobody. Nobody can hinder you from doing what God called you to do if you didn't want to do it. And they the Bible says they can't nobody. Well, who hinder you from obeying God? Who hinder you? Well, yeah, but all the stuff on my job, and I saw all this and all this temptation, all this. Who hinder you from obeying the word? Look like they were having fun. Well, when you these showing the devil showed you having fun now, but he ain't showing you where it's gonna be later on. We is gonna have eternal life or eternal damnation. So you choose who you want to serve. We have a choice. God don't force us, but God says, Let my people know who they are. They need to know who they are so they can receive the things that are accomplished for them up on the cross. You can't receive that. You don't know Jesus. Why did he go to the cross? What happened? What the hell why he had to go to the cross? Now you got to learn about him. Why did he have to go to the cross? Then you understand who you are. When you understand him, you understand you. What it says, 17 verse 7. Therefore, if any man, that means there's no red, black, white, blue, whatever color you is, where you're from, or had nothing to do with it. If any man be in, now the question comes up, am I in Christ? If I'm in him, how did I get in him? We believe it and we receive it. We ask ask him to come into our heart and do what? Be Lord of our life, and this is what happened. That's how we got in him. Roman six. In the mind of God, there we are. Now we're in him. Why don't we get the things that he had for us? Yeah, see, I'm putting these things to you so when the test is come up now, you'll realize that who you are. And you won't let the enemy fool you all the time and be trying to steal your blessing. He wants to come and steal your blessing. And here come the thief. Steal everything you got because you don't know. You got to hang it out your pocket, your wallet hanging out your pocket. The ease on there, and there it is. We got to know who we are. If we don't know who we are, you'll be like Adam and Eve. The enemy tricked them. Because they really thought that. Oh, you'll be wise. We gotta stop worrying about being wise and then just being there. Let God mold you and make you and shape you and what he wants you to be. Don't try to make yourself. Let God make you mold you, shape you what you want to do, what he wants. He knows what he called you to be. And if we move ourselves out of the way and allow him to do it, allow the tests and the struggles and everything to build up our characters, to build us up. But one time you be cussing somebody, I don't be saying this or saying that and ready to fight or whatever it is. Now only one God build up your characters, and you're so meek and humble. He cussed you, I call you out your name everything like they did Jesus. Prophesy. Who hit you? He could have came down off the cross, but he didn't. Y'all see what I'm saying? Because he realized now who he is. When you realize who you are, new creation, brown new man, old things are passed away, all things have become new. You're a new person, you can't go back. Paul said, What? Forgetting those things that are behind me. And I press. It's gonna be a press because the enemy's gonna try to push you back. You're trying to get there, he pushes you back, you're trying to get there. That's when the test has come. You see all this temptation all around you, and you say, Whew, God, that looks good. That looks good. And then the Lord is telling you, that's not you, that's not you, that's not you. You be enemy trying to make you get on that side, and God got you on this side, and you're looking over there on that side, trying to get over there where all this negative stuff is, and God got you over here where He needs you at, and we want to get on the other side. Look like the world having so much fun. At times you look at the world, it looks like they're having so much fun. Partying on Saturday night, the music just jumping. Next door, the music just jumping. Or the out there in the yard and barbecue and cooking and everything, everything looks good. Ain't nothing wrong with cooking, don't get me wrong. But make sure God come first. He out there doing all this dancing and everything. He's been singing below God. But God let it rain on the just and unjust. That's how much he loves us. That's what love is all about. Uh Ephesians 4 and 16. Know who you are. That's the whole thing. Know your identity. When you go places like that, the people ask for your drive of life, they want to see your identity, your ID. When they see the ID, they see your name on the stuff on there, they know it's you. So that's when the enemy knows who you are. When you know who you are, then you act like who you are. We don't act. Why do you think a lot of people don't act like who they are? Because they don't know who they are. If you don't know who you are, you're not gonna act like that. You know you're a Christian, you even feel like that cussing nobody out. You're not gonna be out there cussing nobody out because the Holy Spirit is gonna convict you. When you go to do that, it's gonna convict you, and you're gonna catch yourself. That's what I'm talking about. The Holy Spirit will convict you. That's what the Holy Spirit is there for. Sanctify us. So somebody might ask you one of this, how you know you say? How how how you get it? How you get in Christ? You gotta know what to tell him. How do you tell him you get in there? Where are we at now? What did I say? Ephesians 4 and 16. What about 4 and 16? See all these right here. You can read these later on too. That's the purpose of the gift. A lot of people get caught up with the gift. God wants us to get caught up with his words. Nothing wrong with the gift, the gift will operate, operate if we can just get this word in us. Okay. Uh what I said, 16, 4 and 16.
SPEAKER_01Ephesians 4:16. From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by the which every joint supplies according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, making increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
SPEAKER_02You see what it is all about? That's what the body is all about. Every part doing what it's supposed to do. Every part of the body doing what it needs to do. The arm and the natural, the arm, the leg, the feet. If some of the parts don't want to do what they're doing, they say, I'm not, the feet say, I'm not moving. Hands say, I want to go over there and do something over there. I'm not moving. You need your feet to take you over there. So if the feet be stubborn, don't want to obey God, it's not going to take you over there. So that's why it's very important that we understand we are in a body, body of Christ. So every part of our body is needful. Every part of the body needs the other part. Your arms need your feet. Every part needs the other part. Your brain. Your heart. Heart stops beating. Your liver. Blood goes through the liver. All everything going to your body goes through your liver, your kidney. You need all these to operate. So if it ain't operating right, then what happens is you find yourself slowly, slowly going down, down, down, down. But you got to operate with those parts of the body. Otherwise, that part needs the other part. That's why God said we all need each other. We can't part from each other. I don't need you. Can the feet say I don't need the hands? You can't say I don't need you. I don't have no need of you. So we got to look at it that way. We know who we are. We realize that we need each other. Every one of us needs I don't care how much money you got, I don't care how many cars you got, how many houses you got, how many boats you got, how many what this you got, whatever it is, we need each other. How much is how much what else? Very important. So you see, go ahead and read a little bit more. Uh, Tiger 17.
SPEAKER_01Verse 17. This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord that you henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk in the vanity of their mind.
SPEAKER_02They walk them walking in the vanity of the mind, the flesh, doing what they want to do. He doesn't want to walk like other other people that say that they're Christian and they're not walking right. Don't act like them. I'm saying everybody's saying they're saved now, most you ask anybody now, okay. They ain't living nothing, but they said they saved. And just leave them alone. If he said they saved, I don't let God deal with it. But what I'm trying to say, he said that you henceforth, he said, don't you walk like a dog, you do what we do. You see that they're not living according to the word, they don't know who they are. So you see what I'm saying? So that's why he's telling you, don't you that you henceforth walk not as other Gentiles? Don't be like other people. If you know the other people according to the word of God, you know you see they're not living right. Don't get caught up with it. Just pray for them and keep moving. Because you hang around with it long enough that spirit is gonna fall on you. You don't want to praise God, they don't want to do nothing. All they want to do is lay back and online. We said this morning, online. Too lazy, get dressed and get go to God's height because that your body don't belong to you, it belong to God. So every one of our bodies, this part of the body, come together. Time that we're living in right now, we need to come together more. Bible said, all the stuff that's going on around us now, we need to come together more. So he said, Don't be like the other walk as other Gentiles walk in the vanity of their mind doing their own thing. But this is what I'm gonna do. You never say I was gonna do what God said do, but I'm gonna do what my flesh said do. So go ahead. Go ahead. 18.
SPEAKER_01Verse 18, having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them. See what it's saying?
SPEAKER_02Through the ignorance, the ignorance, they don't want God. Well, they're trying to say that they're living for God, but they live the self-righteous. Religion is terrible. A religion is worse. Somebody who has a religious spirit and don't want to do what God said to do is worse. That's what them Sadducees and Pharisees had, a religious spirit. They didn't want Jesus. Self-righteous. I'm right. That's self-righteous. I don't have to go by the word. I know what God told me to do. You got to read this word, God said, in all thy ways, acknowledge me, and I'm going to direct your path. You can't direct your own self. None of us in here. We try to direct our own self, we're gonna fall right in the hole. And and what that's why you know saying you don't even feel the present of God. You'll be right around the midst of God's people, it won't even feel no presence. The anointing dried up. Very important for us to give God the praise. It builds you up, it builds up your most hope, praying in the Holy Ghost, builds up your most holy face, praying in the Holy Ghost, getting up in the morning, praying in the Holy Ghost, praying in tongues, building yourself up. Somebody going to the gym, what they do? They're building their muscles and the things up. That's why you know what I'm saying. When they first started, I didn't have no muscles. But that's why you know what I'm saying. You look at them, whoa, they built up. Why? Because they kept going, they didn't stop. You might not feel nothing when you first start. But as you go forth, you begin to feel it. See, a lot of times when you first started praising, going to your secret cards and praising God, you might not feel nothing in the beginning. You say, Oh God, I don't feel nothing. That's why you know anything. Boom, just when you just thought that nothing was happening, you know, just wow, it's happening now. God knows the right time. You feel the very presence of God, you don't even want to come out. You see what I'm saying? That's the way God works. Because He's testing you. See, do you really love me showing up, or you just want to want this anointing for show? Are you gonna live for me? See what I'm saying? It's very important. So go ahead, Tyree.
SPEAKER_01Continue, verse 18. Through the ignorance that is in them because of the blindness of their heart.
SPEAKER_02What is it? Their blindness, their heart is blind. Their heart is blind, y'all. Write these scriptures down, y'all go and read these scriptures. Their heart is blind because what? Read the read right there.
SPEAKER_01It is a willful ignorance which brings about a willful blindness.
SPEAKER_02A willfully, willfully ignorant. Want to be ignorant, don't want to do what God said do. And it brings about what blindness. Now you can't see. Now you can't see. It brings about blindness, you can't understand God's word. Willfully, you willfully didn't want to do what God said do. Now all of once you come blind if you look at the word and don't even understand it. Look at that, everybody look at that. Because of the blindness of your heart, your heart is blind. You're thinking about that. Your heart is blind, you don't want to receive God's word. Your heart gets blind, you want to do what you want to do. Okay, 19 verse.
SPEAKER_01Who being past feeling, having given themselves over until lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
SPEAKER_02See what happens if you do that? When you ignore God's word, God tells you to do something, you don't do it, you ignore God's word, and you automatically you become blind to the word of God. And they said, who being past feeling and giving themselves over unto lasciviousness, a surrender, a complete surrender of self unto evil. Now you're walking by self. You're walking by my own what I want to do. I do it my way, not God's way. So it's very important that we do it God's way. But you at the 20 verse there.
SPEAKER_01But you have not so learned Christ. If so be that you have heard him and have been taught by him as the truth of as the truth is in Jesus, that you put off concerning the former conversation, the old man.
SPEAKER_02Put off that old man. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_01Which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts.
SPEAKER_02That old man got a lesson. People go right back to what they used to do. When you don't obey God, after why you know and say you're right back. You don't, God done delivered you, done saved you, and everything else, and you go right back doing the same thing you used to do before you got saved. Because you didn't obey, when you knew God, you didn't obey God. So he turned you over to what a recreated mind. You think what you're doing is all right, and it's not. That's why he told you put off. If you have heard of him and have been taught by him, how I've been taught through the word. As the truth is in Jesus, you got to put off. He didn't say Jesus is gonna come down here and put it off. He's giving us enough power, understanding of his word, the Holy Ghost, allowing the Holy Ghost to lead us and guide us to put off the old man that you put off. He didn't say nothing he's gonna do. Only by how can it be done?
SPEAKER_01Sorry with the read right there, which can be done only by one placing his faith exclusively in the cross, concerning the former conversation, concerning the former manner of life. The old man refers to the unsaved person dominated by the total totally deprived nature, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts. The unsaved person is subject to a continuous process of corruption, which grows worse as time goes on.
SPEAKER_02It gets worse and worse and worse. Little 11, 11, the whole long. It gets worse, worse. If the enemy becomes all at once, you'll catch it. But what he does, you a little bit of disobedient, a little bit of disobedient, a little bit of disobedient. He don't do it all at once because you'll catch on. That's why you know and say you don't feel convicted. You do it, you don't feel convicted. Your first day, the first time, you feel convicted. Oh, I can't do that. Lord, forgive me. Forgive me, Lord, forgive me. That's why you know and say, You do it, you don't even feel it. Don't feel no conviction. Because you have gotten yourself, going right back to that lust for things that you were doing before, doing things your way instead of God's way. You don't feel no conviction. You think everybody's putting on. He gotta be putting on that. There ain't no way in the world, Tyree up there saying like that. Then she must be up there putting on like that. Oh no, I don't believe all that. I'm looking at her. Let's see. Let's see now. Let's see what she's gonna do next. Let's see. He said she's putting on. If you're not going forward, you see what I'm saying? You think that present putting on, and she feeling the presence of God, you say, Oh no, I don't feel it. No, you ain't feeling because you ain't been praying this week. You ain't been doing what you're supposed to do. You ain't gonna feel it. You see what I'm saying? There's people saying you're putting on. You see what I'm saying? You say you go in that secret cloud, how you feel when you come out? People say, Oh, we come, that's the read. I don't know. I don't know if I believe that or not. But you know within yourself that God is visiting you. See, we got to know within ourselves that God is with us. When you get up in the morning praying, pray in the Holy Ghost, you feel the very present of God. You say, Oh, Lord, I thank you. And you don't want to lose that presence. You can't do without it. You can't miss that. And you don't feel the present, then you don't even want to go in this secret closet. But when you feel it's present, you can't wait to get in that secret closet. That's very important. See, all that other stuff. The enemy try to take every one of us back. The devil don't care about none of us. He ain't looking at no titles. Whether I'm a pastor, whether you are whoever you are, a prophet, or uh whatever, the teacher or whatever it is. The devil don't care. He ain't looking at no titles. All he's looking at is to draw you in. That's all he's trying to do, to draw you in. He ain't looking at no titles. He could care less. When we disobey God, we fall into the trap of the enemy. He don't care. And he makes you ashamed. Then people shame to come back to God, they fall, and then the shame will come back to God. That's why you got to put your arms around and let them know that's okay. God will forgive you. But you can't keep going in and out, in and out. You got to go all the way with God. You let them know, you know, you because we are members of one or another. So we we God will forgive you. But then it look like David. When David messed up big time, God forgave David for messing with Bow Chiever. But what happened? All this stuff began to happen in his family because they didn't obey God. And if we a lot of times we don't obey God, sometimes things can happen in your family. And you wonder why it happened because you disobeyed. David disobeyed God. He set that man up to be killed. Put them on the front line. And God had to deal with when God forgave David. Of course he forgave him. But after he forgave him, then what happened? That thing never left his home. Never left. So you see what I'm saying? It never left. So it's very important that we obey God. See, a lot of times people say, they do something, nothing happened, nothing, nothing, nothing's gonna happen. But when you do things like that, and it's saying you do and you know better, and you hear the word, you know the word, and you do those things, you're gonna get consequences, something, I'm telling you. You know, people don't like the consequences that are gonna happen because you disobey God. A lot of times we disobey God, we say ain't nothing happened. But I'm telling you, things happen. Look at the same God today, yesterday, and forever. He don't change. That's why it's very important for us. He'll he'll forgive you. You'll let somebody go out there and commit fornication and stuff like that. God will forgive you. But look, next week, you might come out next week, you got some kind of disease. Something will happen because of the consequences. Because you shouldn't have been out there doing that because you know better. Consequences is a consequence. Yes, God forgive you. But what about the consequence? You see what I'm saying? Very important that we understand the consequence you got to go through. Or something could happen to you. You could be out there and get in an accident. You sneak at the house and in the car with somebody, boom, accident happened. You're the first one to get messed up for life. Why? Because you didn't obey God. He didn't do it, but the enemy came to steal, kill, and destroy. That's the devil's job. He still kills and destroyed. We say we don't got away with things a lot of times because we ain't told nobody, nobody knows what's going on. But I'm telling you, it's not good. It's not good. Consequence. Some of you right now can tell things that you've done, you know you're not supposed to have done it, and the consequence is it's it's not easy, I'm telling you. Consequence can be hard sometimes, it can almost take you out. God telling you to do this and do that, and you owe through the other thing. What God told you not to do, it's not good. Obey Him. Look what happened to the whole world because of Adam and Eve, disobedient. Consequence, whole world falls in sin because of consequence, or because they didn't want to obey, or because they want to be wise. Consequence. Very important. So I just tell you, do what God said do. If you're gonna be in it, be in it. If you're not gonna be in it, get out of it. Because you can't don't play with God. We can't play with him. Because he sees everything in the dog and his life. He knows everything, he knows even with your thoughts, what's going on in your mind. He knows everything. It's nothing we can hide from him. He knows whether we mean business with him or not. He knows everything about us. So it's very, very important. Our relationship with Christ affects every aspect of our life. Our relationship with Christ affects every part of our life. What kind of relationship you have with him? It affects every part of your life. Whether you're gonna live for God or whether you're gonna be sneaking around doing this and doing it, he even knows your thoughts. When you're thinking evil of people, a thing of evil, this, or thinking evil, that God sees it. He sees everything. It's so important that we're gonna serve him, serve him. Our relationship, I read now, our relationship with Christ affects every aspect of our life. Follow we are following. We have to realize we are followers of God. We are his another one that disciple. We are his disciple, follower. That's another one. Do you know who you are? We are followers. Deny yourself, take up the crowd, follow him. Very important. How did uh read now? How did you become a new creature? You got to know how did you become a new creature? Another one, Romans. Let's look at uh Romans 8 and 14. Okay, that's another one. See, who are you? Sons of God, huh? Sons of God sons of God, see that. Who are you? See, then when you realize who you are, the enemy can't trick you in a lot of stuff. But if you don't really know who you are, easily to be fooled. As many as are led by the Spirit of God, Jesus, God's Spirit, the Holy Ghost, they are the sons of God. These scriptures that you can go through them, then you can add some more scripture to it. Then when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of God let you know. I don't have to bow to this devil. So the things that he's telling you and all that, it's not true. You don't have to listen to the enemy. But if you don't know who you are, then you got to understand the cross. That's the main thing. Jesus said, I had, I told y'all Friday night, I had given you everything you need pertaining to life and godliness. You got it, but you got to use it. Everything he gave us is life and godliness. So that means we got all this stuff. That's just like somebody gone to the grocery store and said, Bring me back some milk and bring me back this and then that. You it's already in the restriction ready. What are you telling to bring you back that? You got it. But you ain't even looking to see you got it. So if you don't read your word, you don't even know what you got. You then come back, bring you all the stuff back, and you already got all this stuff. You don't even need it. You see what I'm saying? Very important. So that's saying with God. If we don't read this word, the enemy is gonna trip us up. His job is to trip us up. I say our relationship with Christ affects every part of our lives, every part of your life. Whatever you go get ready to do. Your relationship with God. Either He's telling you, leave that alone, don't do that, come after me wholeheartedly, seek me, you shall find me. We don't want to seek him, but yet when the test comes, then we try to find him, and we don't know how to find him then because we are too gone through so much. You see what I'm saying? You got to find him. You got to faith come by hearing, hearing by the word of God. You got to find him when ain't nothing going on. You don't wait till something happens and then try to get delivered, try to get peace, try to get joy. You got to be at the place where you've already been reading up on peace and let it get in your spirit before something happened. Let's say something happened on your job, or something happened with your tears, or something like that. Well, you ain't been reading up on no peace and stuff like that. You go out of your head. People could almost kill themselves behind it. Oh my God, my child, the child, let's some of the people, my child got, uh somebody stole my child, or this child got killed in a car wreck, and da da da. They just almost give up. But if they had the peace of God, they won't give up. They realize sure it's gonna hurt them. They're always gonna hurt you because you're gonna miss you know, whoever it is. But the thing is, you'll be able to go through it. You wanna kill yourself behind. You see what I'm saying? You'll be able to go through it, you know. So it's very important because it's as sure as we are in this world, we're gonna leave here one day. And everybody, if Jesus don't come with the rapture, everybody ain't gonna leave at the same time. But what I'm trying to say is you gotta be strong enough for these things to come. You gotta be able to go through it. You can't wall it's self-pity all your life, wallet self-pity. So, what I'm trying to say is we get so caught up and hooked up, we gotta get hooked up with God and still get hooked up with people. You know, we love people, but we gotta get hooked up with God. And I said, God, I said, Lord, I say, you know, it's so now I don't understand why all I'm gone. You left me behind. I don't know. You have a job for me to do, what you got for me to do? Now, since you know who you are, now God said, Okay, you know. Now act like who you are. The test will come. Don't forget, act like who you are. Don't act like the world. The world throw a tamper. These little things happen, he ready to kill. This throw a tamper. That's the world. But we're not of the world. We are in the world, but we're not of the world. We can't read we pray for our enemies. Bible said, pray, love those enemies, do good to them who dislike the use. Romans eight and nine.
SPEAKER_01Romans eight and nine. But you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit. If so be that the spirit of God dwell in you. Now, if any man have not the spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
SPEAKER_02Now you see that. What's the next verse down there?
SPEAKER_01Verse 10. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is life because of righteousness.
SPEAKER_02So you see what God said. So we got now. Once we realize who we are, once y'all realize now when y'all when this thing's gonna come against you now, what the Holy Spirit is gonna do, bring things back to this word back to your remembrance, who you really are. Then it's gonna be up to you whether you listen to that or whether you do what you want to do. You will have a choice. You can listen to the enemy, you listen to God. That's why God said, Know who you are. When you know who you are, you can't be fooled. The word is right there. I'm not giving you on the top of my head, I'm giving you the word. I tell people all the time, make sure you open your Bible up. Don't sit here and open your Bible up. Open your Bible up and it's able to see what the word is saying. Because you're gonna need this word. When the devil comes, you're gonna need this word. Man should not live by bread alone. And another thing, too, we need this word, because the things that we are going through, the testing that we're going through, we need this word to take us through, knowing that who I am in Christ. Uh, the Bible said, I give you power over all the power of the enemy. Nothing should by enemy hurt you. And then the other one said, made all these things, you, targetation with one, you are more than conquerors. You're not just a conqueror, you're more than conqueror through him that love you. We gotta realize we are more than conquerors. We when we come to this place, know who you are. You can't give in to this devil every time he comes. Oh Lord, here he comes again, here he comes again. Well, don't give in to it. The devil hit your mind. You might just give up. There ain't nothing working. You got to tell it, let the devil know where to get off at. I have to do it almost every day. You got to let the devil know where to get off at. You got to remember. With the word set, that's why you got to get in this word, let the word do the talking for you. Gotta get in. You just can't sit back and let the devil do all the talking because he will talk. He used people to talk to negative. Oh, they ain't gonna work. You know, the people down the street down, they had the same thing happen to them, and that didn't work for them. He showed you somebody who had the same thing going, you going to, and it didn't work for them, so you might just not believe it. You ain't got nothing to do with them people down there. They might not have a relationship you have with God. You see what I'm saying? You got a relationship with God. You know him. Get to know him. We get to know him through relationship. We build up our relationship with him, and then we know that no good thing he withholds from them who walk upright. You know you walking upright before God, you're doing what you need to do, then you have a relationship with him. No good thing. He said, No good thing. If it's a good thing that you need, God said, No good thing, I won't withhold it from you. But he knows the right timing to give it to us. Sometimes we want to move for our time. But God knows the right time for us to give it to us. I mean that God allowed tests to strengthen our faith and characters. He allowed these tests to come to strengthen our faith and our characters. When we go through these tests, it strengthens us. Every test you go through, it's strengthening your faith. Your faith is being built up. The Bible said it just should live by faith. Your faith is being built up every time when you go through these tests. If you go through it the right way, your faith is being built up. But if you give in to the enemy every time the enemy comes, you fail the test, just like in school. You fail the test. Study the word. Lord, what is your word set about this situation? This is what I'm going through right now, Lord. And most of the time, the best of learn this word before you start going through what you're going through. If you're not, if you don't have this word when you start going through it, it's kind of hard to get this word, walk by faith. But if you already know who you are in Christ, it's not as hard. But if you don't know what God said about the situation, the Bible says any man lacks wisdom, let him ask of God. It's something that you don't understand, then Lord, I need whisper in this situation. It's a decision that I have to make. And I want to make the right decision. You said all my ways acknowledge you. You will direct my paths. So I need, I need, I need to hear from you. See, you don't just jump on and say, Oh, this looks good. Oh, I take that. You know, we're so used to doing that when we were in the world. Oh, that looks good. We go by what it looked like with our five senses. But now you don't belong to yourself, so you got to go by what God's Word said. Because He sees further down the road than you and I see. He sees what's gonna happen two years from from now, five years from now, what's gonna happen tomorrow. So when we listen to Him, we coming on top every time. But sometimes we we so used to when you were in the world, you're so used to doing things your way. And now you got to turn it over to Him. And some people don't like to turn it over to Him. Oh Lord, I make my own decision. You don't belong to yourself, you can't make your own decision because you don't know where you're going. If I was going to New York now, I had to find out how to get there. I can't make my own decision. I'm no, I'm just gonna get on the road. I make my own decision. Y'all see what I'm saying? So I had to get some map or get get the uh navigator or something and find out how which way I go, where I turn, which way? Oh well, I don't get lost. So always let God be the answer to your problem. Now I gave y'all enough. Y'all got something to go by this week. Don't sit back and just take these things home and just lay down and then do the test club. The Bible says, if any sick among you, call for the elders of the church, let them pray for you. We don't call for the elders of the church. Bible said, call for the elders of the church and let them pray for you. Know them, Bible said that labor among you. Bible said, if it is sick among you, call for the elders of the church. Don't hide nothing unless you need help. Call out. Look, I need look, pray, I need help. Come on, help me get through this. I need you to feel your face along with my face on this thing. This thing is getting me down and talk. But don't hide it. But you don't know. We need each other. Time can be limited right now.
