SPEAKER_00Seeing the invisible. I can't see with my natural eyes, but I see it in the spirit. That's what we got to see. Seeing the invisible. Thank you, Jesus. We're gonna come from 2 Corinthians, fourth chapter. Thank you, Jesus. 2 Corinthians, fourth chapter. I tell God, I said, Lord, I don't want my work to be in vain. When that row is called, I want to hear my name. I don't want my work to be in vain. See, we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works. Thank you, Jesus. Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord. So many falling by the wayside, but Lord have me to stand. That's what you got to say. Lord, have me to stand. Because not because we're so good, but because he's good. As long as he can use you, he'll keep you working, he'll put you to work. Even if you ain't doing nothing but praying for this ministry, do something. Do something for God. See, we God don't want us to lose hope seeing the invisible. We got to see the invisible. We we suit we're too a lot of God's people too busy moving by their five senses. If I don't see it, I don't believe it. But if you believe it, you'll see it. I don't see it. I just can't see it. You ain't supposed to see so he ain't told you you're supposed to see, so you believe. I just can't see this happening. I just can't see me and this God doing this for me. I just can't see it. We can't go by our five senses. Looking and looking and looking with your eyes. Oh, feeling, looking and feeling. Oh, it's still there. Can't go by your five senses. Five senses would fool you. Flesh. Nothing but your flesh. When you start looking at it, devil started talking. Oh, you ain't gonna make it. Oh, this is gonna happen. Oh, that's gonna happen. You gotta let the devil know this is what the doctor said. But Dr. Jesus didn't say that. See what I'm saying, Ella Kelly? Dr. Jesus didn't say that. He said you're gonna get up from here. You're gonna put them, that whatever that thing they have to do to your legs, it's gonna happen. And it happened. And God's timing. We want to happen right away. If he does it today, I can believe it. God allows us to go on sometime to build up our faith. Our faith gotta be built up. And if we can't believe him for that, then what's gonna happen? We're gonna start dying. And in between that time that God doing the work that he wants to do in that time, the enemy is working double time. Try to bring diet and unbelief. Just like he did with uh Albany. Diet and unbelief. He probably try to bring diet and unbelief. Did God really say that? Did God really say He's gonna heal you? Did God really say that? But look what the doctor said. He wants you to look at what the doctor said. Yeah, Dr. Jesus. Look at what Dr. Jesus said. See, that's what you gotta do. You look at what God said. Even devil, if I leave here, I'm going to a better place. I won't never have to worry about no more pain, no more suffering, no more going through. That's what I'm telling. Then the enemy can't fool you when you talk like that. Because he said, Oh, well, that person ain't scared of going leaving here. So I bet I guess I better not do nothing. Because she's gonna make it in, he's gonna make it in. Gotta believe God. Alright, seeing the invisible. Invisible means something that you see it in the spirit, and you're not looking at it with your five senses, with your eyes. That's what I'm talking about. Alright, let's start at the 13th verse. Fourth chapter and 13 verse.
SPEAKER_012 Corinthians 4 13. We having the same spirit of faith according as it is written. I believed and therefore have I spoken. We also believe and therefore speak.
SPEAKER_00We believe first before we can speak it. I believe. Stop walking around holding on to, oh, oh, my author writers. Oh, oh, my pain. Oh, oh, my headache. Oh, I'm so sorry, my head hurts so bad. God said, Stop grumbling and complaining. Let the children of Israel. That's what they did. They grumble and complain all the time. Oh, Moses, you hadn't done this. Now they put more workload on us. Oh my God. He was mad with Moses. Now the Moses, God sent Moses right there to deliver them. He is their deliverer. You don't get mad with the person God sent to deliver you from your what you're going through. Oh God, why are they getting it always on me all the time? God wants to get on you all the time because you see something in you, he wanna get out so he can put something in. I hope y'all can get this message tonight. What I'm talking about. We have the same spirit of faith. This is what I'm talking about. According as it is written, I believe, and therefore you speak it. You can't speak what you don't believe. Because God sees and know all things. He don't move, he moved by faith. When faith is there, God has to move. That's why that one with the issue of blood, when she walked in there by faith. God had no choice but to move. The disciple didn't understand. All these people in here, how can you say somebody touch you? But it was a touch of faith. That's what it was. This woman had done everything she could to do for her own self. But she realized I need Jesus. I can't go through this thing, it's just too hard. But I need a touch, just one touch from him, and I can make it. Not lose heart because faith in their future resurrection. We can't lose heart. We gotta walk by faith. The Bible said, The jest. Are you righteous? Have you been justified? The jest. Just means the righteous should do what? You gotta live by that mean every day. Don't mean just on Sundays and during the week. The jest should live by what? By faith. Wonder why people got to see it first. I believe when I see it, when I see it, when I see my body being healed, when I see God doing this, open this door for me. I believe. The door's already open. He said, I already given you everything you need pertaining to life in God, is it through the knowledge of God? But then you got to get into the word and find out what have He what have He given you? What do I know about the cross? What did He do when He said it's finished? The Bible said for the joy that was set before him, He endured the cross. For the joy, he saw joy. He didn't see, oh my God, they're gonna put nails in me and this gonna happen, that's gonna happen. We see too much sometimes the wrong way. But for the joy that's set before me, he seen you and I, all souls, being delivered, set free. Bond is being broken off people's lives. He saw all these things. When he saw all these things, he didn't worry about how much pain I'm gonna have, I'm gonna have to bear. When you see yourself being getting healed, you ain't thinking about the doctor gotta do surgery, the doctor got to do this, the doctor got to do that. All you see is I'm gonna come out victoriously. Because God is in this thing. That's what you see. You see more than what the enemy wants you to see. He wants you to see feet. Defeat, feet, being defeated. What's gonna happen to me? Is it gonna cut my leg off? Is it gonna cut my arm off? That's what the devil wants you to see. And then what he does then with that, he brings fear. God said, That's not my spirit. I ain't give you no fear. I give you love, power, soundness in the mind. All right, now God don't want us to lose hope because he wants to walk by faith. Read the next verse, uh, 14 uh 2 Corinthians 4, 14.
SPEAKER_01Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall also shall raise up us also by Jesus and shall present us with you.
SPEAKER_00See what he's saying, talking about Jesus, now he raised Jesus up from the grave, and he raised you up too. Knowing that he, God the Father, which raised up the Lord Jesus, shall raise us up also by Jesus. The resurrection, whether dead or alive, and shall present us with you a great assembly. God wanna raise us up to that place in him where we learn how to rest. We will God want us to get to a place where we learn how to rest in him. Uh Romans, hold on to this, Romans 8 and 11. What does Romans 8 and 11 say?
SPEAKER_01Romans 8, 11. But if the spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by the His Spirit that dwells in you.
SPEAKER_00See what it's saying here? Now read that read right there. Read it. See, God wants you to be raised up. He don't want you to be just in the same place with last year. You gotta grow. Grow in him, grow in great knowledge. But the spirit, Holy Spirit, talking about the Holy Spirit. Go back and read it over again and read the whole thing.
SPEAKER_01But if the Spirit, Holy Spirit of Him from God, who raised up Jesus from the dead, dwell in you, He definitely does. He who raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies. Give us power in our mortal bodies that we might live a victorious life.
SPEAKER_00God wants us to live, hold on. God wants us to live a victorious life. He don't want us drifting and drifting and drifting. Oh, I can't make it. I don't know what's gonna happen to poor little me. He don't want us to want us to live a victorious life because it's the Holy Spirit is the one that's living in us. And he's the one that's gonna lead us and guide us and direct us. Who drill in you, which is the Holy Spirit. By his spirit who drill in you, he's in you. If you accept Jesus, your Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit is in you. And but he wants to leave, but now it's up to us where we allow him to lead us and guide us and direct us. It's up to us. So read that read right there. We have the same what?
SPEAKER_01By his spirit who dwells in you, we have the same power in us through the spirit that raised Christ from the dead, and he and is available to us only on the premise of the cross and our faith in that sacrifice.
SPEAKER_00So you see what it's saying here? When Jesus raised him from the dead, we have the same power. We have the same Holy Ghost, y'all. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead. We have it. That's why we can speak things over ourselves according to the word of God, and it got happen if we believe it by faith. The same power, that power that brought him back from the grave, resurrection power. But I wonder why is it that people don't realize the power that you have on the inside of you? You don't have to live a life that, oh God, well, how I'm gonna make it. What's gonna happen to poor being? We can have a victorious life while we're in this body. This body we ain't right now. You see what I'm saying? We we don't have to groan and complain, what's gonna happen? I don't know what's gonna happen to me. Because God already got everything already in control. The enemy wants you to just, oh, I don't know why I gotta go through this. God allowed us to go through things to bring us to a place in him. A place in him where we can grow in grace and in knowledge of him. He don't want us to stay. How many of y'all had babies? You want the babies to stay babies all their life? No. Do you want them kids to grow up? So that's why you know what I'm saying, they're crawling, that's why you know what I'm saying, they're walking, that's why you know what I'm saying, they're feeding themselves, everything. You see what I'm saying? That's what God wants for us. He wants us to get to that place where when He wants to use you, you available. You say, Lord, use me. Send me, Lord, I go. Like Isaiah said, send me, Lord, I go. But let me go clean myself up first. Clean my God, God, put that cold to my lips, my tongue. Clean me up, talk too much. You see what I'm saying? That's what God wants to do with every one of us. But God don't want us to sit back and say, Oh, poor little me. He don't want to have a pity party. That's not good. So, what does it say here, Tyree? Finish reading that this rest of that verse. We had the same power in us through the spirit that raised Christ from the dead, and it's available to us only on the what the promise of the cross and our faith in that sacrifice. Is your faith in what Jesus did on the cross? That's the thing you got to say. Is my faith in what Jesus did on the cross? So it's very important because of God's renewing power experience, we had the same power in us. All right, let's go back to 2 Corinthians. Thank you, Jesus. Hallelujah. So when you real when you come to your sense and realize you got that same power in you, we were not grumble, we will not complain. We've gone through our tests. We said, Lord, I thank you. Lord, I pray you won't be like Job. He was grumbling and complaining, grumbling and complaining. And all God wants him to do to get to know him. That's all. That's all God wants with us. Get to realize his word is true. All right, 16 verse, we're gonna read this. No, 15 verse, I think.
SPEAKER_012 Corinthians 4, 15. For all things are for your sake, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many abound reabound to the glory of God.
SPEAKER_00See what he's saying, for all things are for your sake. All things. What's that? What Jesus did on the cross? Everything he did it for us. That's right, he did it for us. All things are for your sake. That the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many renounce to the glory of God. All that he went through on the cross was for us. Just think about how much he loved us. Everything he went through on that cross was for us. For your healing, for your deliverance, for your peace, for your joy, for your strength. Everything you ever need, eternal life. All things he went through. Just think sometimes when you start feeling sorry for yourself and having a pity party. Lord, all that you went through for me, I shouldn't be sitting up here thinking like that. I should be praising you. But I'm where I'm thinking about all I'm thinking about is me, myself, and I. That's that's selfish. I tell people all the time, that's really selfish. All you think was me, myself, and I, what I'm going through. But you don't realize what he went through. Y'all see what I'm saying? Look at all the nails were stuck in him. Look at the people talked about him. Look at the Pharisees and the stribe, how they just walked behind him and trying to find fault with him. Everything he did, he tried to find something wrong with him. Called him the devil. Even his own disciples that walked with him and they walked away from him. How do you know how he must have felt? See, we we we the only thing we think about sometimes is how we feel. But we don't have to realize how did Jesus feel when he told him, Except you eat of my flesh and drink of my blood, you had no part with me. He was only trying to help them. But the same word, they took it the wrong way. Who do you say he is? He don't know about no man's flesh. That's all he was thinking about. He knows man's flesh. Drinking his blood. See, it was natural. He couldn't see in the spirit. Much like they walk with Jesus all that time. He was teaching them, but they couldn't catch on to what Jesus was trying to bring them up to a place in him where they could receive the things that God had for him. How many times did God try to bring us to a place in him where he wanted us to receive the thing he had for us? And we are down looking down at this and that. I don't think I want that. I don't want to go that way. I think I want to do it this way. God trying to pull you this way, and you're trying to go this way. That's what I'm talking about. So it's 15 verse that for all things are for your sake. That the abundant grace might through this thanksgiving a minute renounce to the glory of God. All that he paid for. When I began to look at it and say, Lord, I already have it. It's mine. But now, how do I how do I let it be manifest by faith? I don't have to sit back and worry about what's gonna happen to poor little me. I don't know how I'm gonna make it. Pain hit my knee. I think, Lord, I thank you for the knees. Somebody don't have no knees. See, you thank for what you have. It's much better now. I'm thankful for what I have. Lord, I thank you. But I waited on you. I waited at the right time. Didn't give in. See, we want God to fix it quick and not hurry. Do it quick, Lord. Get out. I want to get out of this wheelchair now, Lord. Now, now. God said, I'm holding you now. Because I have a plan for your life. So I've got to hold you for a little while because it's so much more. I want to teach you before you get out of that chair. Because if I get out of that chair too soon, you might run from me. I can't catch you. God knows when to let us out of our situation. You see what I'm saying? He knows when to let her out. So let's get back to this. So let's look at it. Wait a minute, 15 to 16 verse.
SPEAKER_012 Corinthians 4, 16. For which cause we faint not, but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
SPEAKER_00Look what he's saying here. For which cause we fed not, we don't give up, y'all. Okay, how bad the situation looks. We don't give up. Even though this the red said the stakes are too high. It's too high for us to give up. We don't come too far. We can't afford to give up now. You see how far we don't come. All these years and stuff and all these months and stuff, we can't afford to give up. He said, for which cause we fent not. We don't give up. Fent man's give up. Stop. Oh, I can't take no more. I just can't go no further. We fent not. But through but through our eyewater man parents, although our eyewall man, this eyewater, this flesh is dying daily. The minute you're born, after you're born, your flesh starts dying. Dying, dying, dying, dying, dying. I walked man is dying daily. But the inward man, the spirit of God, who is moved day by day. The inward man is growing, getting big. Every day. You look at people, you're gonna get older. You're not gonna your flesh is gonna get older. Your flesh is gonna get all wrangled up and everything else as you get older. Your flesh is gonna get weak as you get older. All these things are gonna happen. But the spiritual man should be getting stronger and stronger. That's the one that we look at. We fed not, we don't give up. So the inward man is renewed, it's renewed, it's made over, renewed to the word of God day by day. It takes the word as it said, mind being renewed to the word day by day. Renewing, denying all self, denying self and taking up the cross daily. We do what we do, we deny self. What self is saying, you ain't gonna make it. I can do all things through Christ who strengthened me. See, that's what we're doing. We we go by what the Holy Spirit is telling us. We don't go by what the flesh is telling us. You might as well give up. Deny yourself, take up the cross and follow him. Our light affliction. Let's look at 2 Corinthians uh 4 and 1. We're still on 2 Corinthians, but look at 4, look back to the first chapter.
SPEAKER_012 Corinthians 4 and 1. See, therefore, seeing we have this ministry as we have received mercy, we faint not.
SPEAKER_00We have what? This ministry, as we have received mercy, we don't give up. See, we don't give up because we are under grace, the new covenant. We don't give up. We know that Jesus Christ died on that cross, everything we needed, he paid for it on the cross. So we don't give up. Let's look at uh we're gonna stay with the second correctly, we're coming back. Isaiah 40 and 29. When I look at stuff like this and scriptures like this, it builds my faith up. I said, Lord, I thank you. I thank you. All my sisters gone, all my brothers gone, and I'm left, just me left. But you have me here for a reason, a purpose. I don't know what it all would want to do in my life, but I know whatever you wanted me to do, you will give me the strength to do it and be able to do it. See, that's where we have to talk to God because we can't do nothing without Him. I can't. So Isaiah 40 and 29. This is what God is saying to each and every one of us. We just got finished reading. He said, That's for seen we have this ministry. As we have received mercy, we faint not. Why wait we don't faint? Why? We don't faint. He said, We will not fail to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified. So now he goes on to go ahead. Isaiah 40 and 29.
SPEAKER_01He gives power to the faith.
SPEAKER_00He gives what power. He gives power, might, strength. Getting ready to get ready to use your body feel like it's giving a givite. But he gives power, authority, power to the faint.
SPEAKER_01And what else? And to them that have no might, he increases strength.
SPEAKER_00He increased your strength. He don't take away your strength, he increases it. He increased your strength. You think you can't go no further. Oh God, I can't make it no further. God said, get up from there. Come on, let's start moving. You can you can make it by the grace of God, you can make it. And you get up from there and you find out you say, Oh my God, it's not as bad. I thought it was. You see what I'm saying? But these I I give power to the cent. Getting ready to give up. How many times, Keller, you were getting ready to give up and fellas? Oh God, I'm about to just throw in the towel. Because this thing looks like it just ain't gonna work. It don't look like God, I don't know if God forgot about me or what, but I'm in this height, Lord, and you knew I need help. Tears running down your eyes. I know I see you. Tears running down your eyes, Lord. I need help. I don't know how I'm gonna make it. If you don't help me, I can't come, I can't continue like this. I need you. And God came to your rescue. But he right time. He's not gonna move for his time. He comes to your rescue in the time, God's okay. I'm here for you. You're not alone. Do you remember my words there? What did the word say? I'll never leave you. He said, You had that, and you had to stay on the word. I never leave you, I never forsake you. I'll be with you all waiting to the end. Now you're gonna praise God for what he does. It's a timing for everything, every one of us. It's his timing, set timing for each and every one of us. God gotta set timing. He gave power to the thent. Them who had no might, he increased their strength. You got strength, you can call you can make it, but you gotta do it God's way. Wait on God. Praying while you wait. Lord, I thank you. You don't have me, I can't make it. I can only make it with you. And you watch and see. The papers get straight, everything be straight, you be calling it for you. Get your next injection. And you won't have a testimony. That's right. But you gotta go through. You don't look through heaven right now, but you you gotta be happy when it when it went before it even happened. You see what I'm saying, Jenny's? You can't wait till it happens and say, ooh, hallelujah! That's why I got a testimony. You gotta see it in the spirit first, then it'll happen in the natural. Look at that 29 verse again. I want y'all to see that. What God said he'll give what? How many times have you felt like giving up? God said, I'll give you power to go through the Tyree. I give power to the fan to them who had no mic. He increased not just the strength you already have, but he increased your strength that you'll be able to go through. Y'all see that? Y'all can read next later on too, you read the whole scripture right there. But he don't wait. The third verse 31 said, But he, but they who wait, God wants you to be patient. Wait upon the Lord. You gotta wait for him sometimes, it just don't happen overnight. He that we want microphone, we want microwaves uh fix. Lord, fix it right now. Oh, I can't take it no more. God said, Yes, you can. Put your faith in me. You can go, you can go through, you can go through. I can't make it without you. Yeah, that's now that's what he wants to hear. I can't make it without you. That's what he wants. Truly Israel couldn't make it without him. But he that wait upon it, love you. That's 31st verse.
SPEAKER_01Isaiah 40, 31. But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
SPEAKER_00See what I said? You're gonna walk and you ain't gonna faint, you ain't gonna give up. He that wait, but you look at look what you gotta do though. You gotta wait. He didn't say he's gonna do it today. Wait. He didn't say how long. Wait. Patient. One of the fruit of the spirit, patient.
SPEAKER_01Luke 9, 23. And he said to them all, if any man will come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.
SPEAKER_00Now you know we say that all the time. Say that deny yourself. That means you got to deny yourself and then take up the cross and follow him. All right, let's go back to where we were in 2 Corinthians. Thank you, Jesus. Oh, my, my, my, my. 2 Corinthians 4 and 17. God is telling us these things that we're going through now, we take it too too personal, and we take it so it's so hard. It's a hard thing to go through. It's not hard if you do it God's way. It's not hard. You know, sometimes I said, Lord, it's nobody but you that keep me. Because I'm working more than 12 hours a day sometimes. I said, it's nobody you I know good and will. I shouldn't. Maybe somebody 20 or 30 years old can work that long. But it's nobody but God that gives me the grace, strength to do what I'm doing. A lot of people my age, I'm retired. They ain't working nowhere. I'm learning things that I never learned before, like retiree and faith that teach me a lot on the computer and stuff. I'm learning all that and different things. People don't want to learn nothing no more. Niggas, they want to lay back. You know what I'm saying? When they get in their sixties of war, they want to lay back. Some of them 50s want to lay back. That's why they let you retire at that age. Because they figure you come home and lay back. So it's nobody but God. I know. I know where my help comes from. Nobody ain't got to tell me. I already know. I know if he wouldn't keep me, I'd be dead and gone. Nobody but God. He has a purple for my life. God said when I was 12 years old, the devil wanted to take me out. I'm the only one in the family at 12 years old. It had to end up in the hospital. None of my sisters, none of my brothers. God had a problem. The enemy wanted to kill me then. But God said, no, I'm gonna use it for my glory. I didn't understand. Ripping and running, partying, doing everything when I got on my own. But God had a set timing for me. And set timing. I didn't realize it. My mother always prayed. Always prayed for us, all the children. But when before she died, but a couple months before she died, we went down there. I just got the Holy Ghost to the office. And she we went down there. My sister that was living down there, she said, Mom, do I ain't really had the Holy Ghost showing up? My mother said, that was the last time I really seen her alive. Next time she was in the hospital and she didn't get her kidney to come out of it. But what I'm trying to say is, God has a purpose. Everybody, 11 kids, all gone. I'm telling you, all off. So God has a purpose for your life. But you gotta stay faithful to God and learn the purpose that God had for you. So I said, Lord, whatever you have for me. I didn't know I was if somebody told me sometime back I'd be doing this. I was paused no way, no way. I thought I was doing good in the world, had my own apartment, had my own car, had this, had that, had that, all this materialistic stuff. Before being there, she got mine. He had his own apartment, I had my own apartment. All this materialistic stuff. Driving, had didn't worry about nothing, working, money in the bank. Always had that. That materialistic stuff didn't bother me. But I didn't have Jesus. That piece was left out, and that's what I needed. Riving and running, partying. I thought I was doing good. Well, the time comes. God draw you in, pull you in. Hanging out with the wrong crowd, the people I was hanging out with, and all this. He told me, when I told him I would start going to church because, oh, you getting in that thing. That you getting in that thing, they call the thing. When I got in the started, got the Holy Ghost. I told him I didn't want to do that stuff no more. Stuff that I was doing. Partying and everything. On Friday night, I get home anytime I want to get home, or whatever it is, and driving and all that sometimes. I don't even know how the car got home. Drinking, partying, all that. We all did stuff when we was like that. But when God get a hold of you, I don't have no time. I can't even stand the smell of smoke now. I passed by somebody smoking now. I can't smell. I had to be too strong. Can't see myself back smoking a cigarette. I couldn't even lay down without a cigarette. That's how bad it was. Go to bed with a cigarette. Wake up in the morning, first thing in the morning, rubber before I eat. That's how bad it was. Only God delivered me from those cigarettes. I never had to go to no place, get to deliver from the cigarettes. When I got the Holy Ghost, God delivered me from that was Him. So that's why I said He had a plan for my life. And He got a plan for every one of our lives. Y'all just gotta find out what the plan is. Yeah, you're in the building here. But God has a purple for each and every one of your lives. Sometimes we you you might look at other people and he in the church and he's doing this and he's doing that, and he looked like they're having so much fun and all that. And you say, God, you're not doing it. They don't look like they uh you know have to do all the stuff that we do. But don't look at it that way. Just see what God is doing in your life. I I I took my eyes off people and got my eyes on Jesus. I would read my Bible. I got so much into the word and started reading my Bible and all these kinds of things. I got my eyes off those people that was in the church building, but they wasn't living for God. I see they weren't living for God because I see their lifestyle. And when I come on this side, I want to be on God's side all the way. I made up my mind, I don't I don't want to be half in and have out. Sure, I see other people going to the building, I see other pastors and stuff doing some things I don't do. I I I can do it, but I don't, God don't don't want me to do it. He wants me to stay faithful to him. You know, I'm not in it for a show. I'm in it to help people. If I can help somebody, this one person. When we stand before God, we gotta give an account. I have to get an account. When I stand before God, I would get an account for what I'm teaching you all. When I stand before God, he's gonna ask me, Well, what did you do? What did you teach them? I guess they're gonna do what God said do. I get it off of me. Yeah, even if people walk out, I have to get it off of me. I can't, I can't just tell you what you want to hear, because a lot of pastors will tell you what you want to hear, what you want to hear. But you don't want that when you stand before God, then you're gonna, every one of you in here is gonna have to give an account for God. But what you did to do with with that life that God gave you, what did you do with it? You gonna you have a given account. So it's very important that we do what God calls us to do. We are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works. My whole desire is to see you make it in. That was my whole desire. If you get mad with me, or whatever, I want to see you make it in. That's my whole desire. That's why I come this way. So I know a lot of times when I teach people, oh my God, she talked about me, oh that. I heard that. I heard people they did it to Jesus. They talked about him, they hated him. He said they hated me without a cause. I didn't do nothing to them, they hated me. Why? Because it was offense. His God, his teacher was an offense to them because he wasn't living it. When you when you teach them something that other people ain't living, they get offended. First thing they think that you're talking about them, oh yeah, just mm-hmm. But you know, you got to teach the word regardless if people live it or not, you gotta teach it. It's my job while I'm here to teach this word. And I can't make nobody eat the word. I can't make nobody live the word. My job, he didn't tell me to make nobody do nothing. He told teach the word in season. When they want to hear it, when they don't want to hear it, you teach it. And that's what I've been doing. So let's go where we're at, Tyree. 17 verse 2 Corinthians 4 and 17.
SPEAKER_01For our light afflictions, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.
SPEAKER_00You see what it's saying here? Our light, these Paul called these afflictions, we go through light. Our light affliction. Then that hard affliction, these little things that we go through, the little pity things that we go through, we say I can't make it, or this thing's bothering me, or uh that person doing this to me, or this and this and that. This is phony. Light affliction. He called them light. It said, Well it's doing, which is for a moment. It's just a moment. We're not gonna be alone, even if we live to get 100, 200 years old. The time goes so fast. This summer is gone already. You see how fast these months is passing. We come in, boom. We come in on the first of the month. Before you know, we're in the third week. That's why we're at the end week. Here we're at the end, every end of September now. Before you know it, boom, it'll be winter. That's how fast the days go past. It ain't like when you were small and stuff like that. It took forever for Christmas to come. We always hoping Chris would hear him come. But it took forever. We just waited and waited and hoping it would heard him come. Glad to see snow and stuff so we could play in the snow and all that. But now, everything changed. Nothing is changed. So he said, Well, our light affliction, the pains that you're going through, the suffering that you're going through, these Paul called them light. These things that you're going through now, where the enemy tried to bump all you and different areas, try to bind you up in different areas. There's a light affliction. It's only for a moment. He called it a moment. When you think of a moment, you say just a short period of time. You're not thinking for no long period of time. I gotta go through this for years and years and years. God called it short. Paul telling here, he said, only for a moment. What does it do? What it says, it it's what it does for us, Tariq. What does it say? It does what work what?
SPEAKER_01For us a more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.
SPEAKER_00It's working something for you. It's working at your salvation, it's working at how you live for God. It's working out that God Jesus is coming back one day for you. It's working like that the rapture is gonna take place one day. We're getting ready for the rapture. We are not, we are not, we are not, this is not a home here. This is not your home. We we look at it sometimes. We people dress up and they do all this and buying all this and fixing up all this, like they're gonna be here forever. You're not gonna be here forever. We're gonna leave here one day. Whether you're a hundred years old or two hundred years old, you're gonna if Jesus don't come back, you're gonna leave here. So we gotta fix up now. These light afflicted we've gone through, we gotta go through them. These are light afflicted. He's gonna call them heavy. They're not heavy. They're light. How why are they light? Because Jesus had already accomplished upon the cross. Because if we believe what he did on the cross, they are light. We take him at his word. I've given you everything you need pertaining to life and godliness, and it's through the knowledge of God. These are light afflicted. He said, I'm the God that heals thee. All the things that he got. There's no good thing I withhold from you if you walk right before me. These are these things he's telling us, I got all this for you. Light affliction. Show us sometimes you're gonna want for this or want for that. But if you totally depend upon God and wait on him, learn how to wait. That's one of the fruit of the spirit. Patient. Wait. Wait, I say on it, Lord. Most people can't wait. They want that microwave fixed. If God don't fix it today, I'm gone. I'm not gonna stay. I'm gone. Wait on him, grow while you wait. While you're in that situation, that season, like I always say, grow while you're in that season. So when you get to the next season, you know how to act. Sure, you're gonna find other people doing all kinds of stupid stuff, and you know good and will it's not according to the word of God. But don't you go falling for that because you don't know when your day comes, Jesus is gonna come for you. And you're not ready to go. Ain't no turnaround once you get out of here. That body, that soul and the spirit gotta go one place or the other. So it's very important. He said these light affliction. It's only for a moment, these light affliction. Let's look at Romans 8 and 18. Uh, hold on to 2 Corinthians, we come back. Romans 8 and 18. Light affliction. Follow people going through, used to elective names that he feels real bad because his hair bad legs were hurting so bad and all this, and he looked and seen the element, didn't have no legs. That he realized how blessed he was. You see what I'm saying? We don't realize how blessed we are. We got a nice place to stay. We can sleep. Some people out there on the street don't have nowhere to stay. Sleeping like that cold, raining, it's terrible. You see, women's out there sometimes. I feel so sorry for them sometimes. And the men might be coming along trying to take advantage of them and stuff like that. Out there on the street at night, like that. Some of them are prostituting anything else to just get a few change, a little bit of money or whatever it is, it's terrible. I know it gotta be bad for. I never had to do that, but I knew that gotta be bad for them. Who would want to be like that in the street? It's not good. But because they don't have no other way. Some of them on the high on drugs and all this kind of stuff, and it just that's it. You just want to fix it. That's what that's what happened. And you you have to be you in a safe place. You have you need to be thankful, you're in a safe place in Christ. That's a safe place. All right, where we're at uh 8 and 18, Romans 8 and 18.
SPEAKER_01For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
SPEAKER_00You see what he's saying? That's what the words say. For I reckon that the suffering that you're going through now at this present time, it's not even worthy to be compared. You can't even compare with the glory. You can't even compare with all God for you. I'm going to prepare a place for you. If I go to prepare a place for you, I come and receive you unto myself that there will I am, there will you shall be also. I'm going to prepare a mansion for you. But we women about what's going on down here. That's why they said for I reckon that there's suffering. You moving, your leg hurt, your body hurt, this hurt, that hurt, and all this, and you're lonely, some of you are lonely, and you ain't got nobody, and all that. Oh my god, when's God gonna give me somebody? Serve God now. Do what you need to do now while you're singing. So when you do get married one day, then you know you enjoy your singing life. Don't let that pass you by. So he said, what you're going through now. He said, for I reckon that the suffering, the hurt, the pain, what I'm feeling like I'm missing out on. The suffering I'm going through now is not to be, I can't even compare with the glory, with the things that God had for me. I can't even compare. That's what I'm talking about. I can't compare with what God had for me. It said, Well, which should be revealed in us. That glory coming from Christ. Putting our faith in what he had done on that cross. And we know that one day we're going where Jesus is. Psalms, I'm gonna be calling up to meet him. Calling up to meet him in the air. Y'all remember that song? I'm gonna be calling up to meet him in the air. So should you ever be with the Lord. See, we can we know that even if you never get to 100, 200 years old, you're gonna still leave here if the rapture don't come. That's what I'm saying now. We got a lot to be thankful for. I reckon that the suffering, sure, people doesn't mean that you're gonna suffer. Jesus suffered, and we're gonna suffer too. See, Paul said suffering. You know, even Paul would talk about the suffering part. He wants to know him, and the suffering is what all God had, what Jesus had to go through and become out of that grief. Paul said, I want to know him. I want to know him, is what Paul was saying. So it's very important that we understand that. Uh let's while we're on that Romans, uh, let's go back to the 16th verse. We worry too much about what's going on with our with our bodies now. But you're gonna have a new body. Glorified by it. No more sickness, no more pain, no more suffering. See, you gotta realize what God got in store for you. Ain't gonna be no more pain, no more suffering. Glorified by it.
SPEAKER_01Romans 8:16. The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God, and if children, then heirs, heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ. If so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. If our work in that, the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
SPEAKER_00See that? So you don't mind suffering. He Jesus suffered on that cross, and we suffer too. What do we suffer? We fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life. We suffer because we have to get into God's word and allow this word to take root in our hearts, and the enemy try to pull us off course, try to pull us off course, showing you this and try to tempt you to this and tempt you with that. But you suffer because you can't, you don't no, no, no, no. I'm not going, I'm not gonna let the devil fool me with that. I did that when I was out there. I'm not gonna do it, but I'm not gonna let him pull me back out. I'm sure he wants to pull you back out. He wants you to suffer from the things that you go on. He wants you to, oh, you remember how it used to be when you was out there on Friday night? You remember how it used to be? He wants to show you all those things to make you start saying about what you want to do. You remember you used to didn't you have a good time? He don't show you the bad times you had. He don't show you the bad times that you went through what you went through. How you almost got killed out there. How in the relationship that they walked all over you. All these things that you like that fighting and carrying on a whole bunch of foolishness. He don't show you all that, but he showed you that. Oh, don't you remember you had you could go when you got feel like it, and you had to worry about getting up the next morning and going to church on Sundays, and you could hang out on Saturday. He showed you all that. But what there's suffering that that's why the devil called it the suffering that we've gone through with our bodies. The enemy wants to pull us back out, and God wants to pull us close to him, but the enemy wants to pull us back. So the suffering we're gone through now, not to be compared. You can't even compare to the glory. All that God had for you. If we just stay still, sure, loved ones hurt you and all kinds of stuff. People talk about you, persecute you. Need to live God are gonna suffer persecution. Sure, people are gonna talk about you. They talked about Jesus, they're gonna talk about you too. Why wouldn't they talk about you? They're offended when you come around. They talk. Oh, she thinks she all this and all that bag of shits. That's what they call you. She thinks she all this. You're more than they don't understand it, but you are more than that because you got Jesus. They want you to start hanging back out with them and begin to talk like they're talking, and then they know you're gonna miss out on God. That's what happened to Alan and Eve. They listened to the enemy. And we and we're not careful, we too. All you can do is put diet into God's word. God don't really mean for you. You you're so young and everything. God don't want you to live this kind of life. This is not the life for you. That's what the devil tells you. And then the older ones he tell them the same thing. You better go and do what you need to do because you know God knows that you you need to do this, you need that. It's not gonna hurt God understand your heart. So just enjoy yourself, enjoy your life. That's what he tells you. And you find yourself, you won't be around long. Try to enjoy your enjoy your life. God said, I gotta take you quickly because I see what's gonna happen. You can go back on the other side. He has to move you out the way because he loves you that much. Very important. So we read that. Let's look at uh what we got the 2nd Corinthians 18, verse, Tari. Focus on the things that we gotta focus on the things that's seen and eternal. That's the thing we gotta focus on. On the unseen and eternal. That's what we got to eternal means the things of God, what God got for you. Dimension, the good life, the life of victory, no more sickness, no more pain, don't have to suffer no more. All that. Okay. 18 verse.
SPEAKER_012 Corinthians 4, 18. While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen, for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
SPEAKER_00You see what he said? While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the same which are not seen. That's what God wants us to get our eyes off. What are we looking at now? He wants to see the thing that he got for us. Things which you can't see. 18 verse. Because why? He said, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temp, that's temporary, temporary. Temporus. Those things that you see, all this life, the lights, the big lights, like in New York and all these cities and stuff, the people want to just hang out. Oh, bright lights, big city. People in the country want to run to the city, big lights, bright cities. North Carolina and all these places, and down Virginia and all these places. They want to come to the when they get grown, they want to run to the city. Oh, I want to go to New York. Oh, I'm gonna go to DC. Big lights, lights. These figures can have more fun and running to clothes and all that. And the country like that, they close up everything real early. So you can't do these things in the country. Y'all know the country. Eight o'clock, everybody in bed almost. Don't sit on later hours. Oh God. So you see what's that? I said, do not I do not do not look, does not mean ignore. Do not continue gazing at them. The eyewall man is purging, dying daily. We see that more than the eyewall. We got to see more than the eyewall. Okay, let me see if I got one more scripture. I think that's gonna be it. Focus on we gotta focus on the seen, on the unseen and eternal. Things that you can't see with your natural eyes. That's what we gotta focus on. The glory that followed this life, knowing the inward man is being renewed day by day. One more scripture, and then we're gonna cut off here. First Corinthians 2, 9 and 10. I was Paul said, these light afflictions we're going through, we call it big afflictions to mind. Oh, you just don't know what I'm going through. Oh, I'm going through this. I'm going through that. God don't call it light of Paul said light affliction. Will you really know all that God got for you? You said too, light affliction. First Corinthians 2 and 9.
SPEAKER_01But as it is written, I has not seen nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for them that love him.
SPEAKER_00Y'all see that? Everybody see that? Y'all I have not seen your eyes can't see that. You only can see it in the spirit. Ears have not heard. Neither have it entered the heart of man. Saying that God already prepared. It's already prepared. You know, if you say, Come on over in the natural, already got dinner prepared. It's already prepared for you. Natural eyes can't see. Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard. Neither have it entered the heart of man. The thing it can't is the thing that God has already prepared. A glorified body He got for you, your mention, everything. You're gonna be forever with the Lord. No more tears, no more sorrow, no more pain, no more heartaches. Think about the things that God, that's just not half of what God got. If we can look that way and still looking at where we where we are right now, looking at the things where we just can see with our natural eyes, and begin to see in the uh the things that we can't see with our natural eyes, the glory of God. Walking on those streets of glory, uh gold, pearly streets, pearly gates, all the things. We begin to read all the things that we that God got for us. You won't want to go back to the world. You won't want the world, sister. Only thing the devil wants to do is take you with him. That's all he wants. Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, neither have you entered the heart of man. Things that God has already, if some prepared that's already ready for it waiting for you. The minute a person drops dead, spirit and soul, go be with the Lord if you're saved. If you're not saved, go with it to that place of torment. But if you're saved, your body automatically goes to the ground, to the grave. That's why people say that person's gone. They don't realize what they're saying, but it's true, they're gone. Your body, the spirit is so Paul said to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. So you have nothing to worry about. You win. We win, y'all. We win with regards to which way we go, we win.
