Who Speaks for Iran's Women?
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
The real threat to women isn’t on your TV—it’s playing out in the streets of Iran, while Western activists remain silent. As the world focuses on headlines and marches in America, women in Iran face brutal repression for daring to demand freedom, and athletes risk their lives just for showing solidarity. The hypocrisy is staggering: millions are raised for causes here, yet the loudest voices ignore real executions and public punishments abroad. It’s time we break the silence and stand up for those fighting for “Women, Life, Freedom” where it matters most.

Why Iran Exposes Western Hypocrisy
SPEAKER_01Hi. I'm gonna jump in this quick because there's so much shit going on. I don't know where to start, but we're gonna take a totally different path today. They told you America is the most dangerous country in the world for women. They said it on television. They marched in the streets over it. They raised millions of dollars off of it. They called the president of the United States a fascist, a dictator, an existential threat to mankind and womankind. And all the while they're doing this, Iran hangs a soccer player for going to a protest. Iran threatened to murder the families of female athletes who dared to ask for asylum. Real women, real threats, real executions in public squares. And the feminist left in this country and in David's said absolutely nothing. I'm Stuart Brisgale. That's David Solomon. This is the Rant Network. And today we're going to talk about the loudest hypocrisies, hypocrites, hypocrites on the face of the earth. Let me start with Amir Nazir Azidani. I apologize for massacring his name. He was a professional soccer player in Iran. Played for Tractor FC. If you don't know, that's a big-time soccer or football player. Sentencing widely reported by Reuters, AP, BBC, all in December. He didn't pick up a weapon. He didn't organize a coup. He didn't attack a government building. He went to a protest, a protest in support of women who are being beaten in the streets of his own country by his government agents, whose literal job title is, and I'm not making this shit up, is the morality police. Sounds like they're from New York and they work for Mandami. And for that, the Iranian regime sentenced him to death. Let me back this up. Because you need to understand what triggered all this, September 2022. A 20-year-old woman named Masha Amini was arrested in Tehran. Yep. Why? She was arrested because her hijab wasn't sitting correctly on her head. Not that she wasn't wearing it. That's it. The fashion police of the Islamic Republican Guard grabbed her. I don't believe this even exists. Off the street, took her, took her into custody, and she died after she was beaten. Twenty-two-year-old woman dead because of a headscarf that had fallen. What happened next was extraordinary because it doesn't end there. Iran erupted. Women in the street ripping off their hijabs in public. Men standing beside them, students, athletes, workers, a protest movement that spread over a hundred and fifty Iranian cities. By the way, that is verified information by the Iran Human Rights Monitor or the AP, chanting three words. Women life freedom. Let me say women life freedom. Let me sit on that for just a second. Amir Nasser Azdani stood with those women. He shouted up. The regime put a noose around his neck for it. FIFA issued a statement. You know, internationally condemned nation came from the sports organizations from the world. But the feminist movement in the United States and Canada, the movement, right? The movement that brags about being the global voice was for women's rights. Hard stop was busy planning their next Trump segment. CMDC, MMDC, CBC, CTV. Now let's talk about women's soccer team because this is where it gets darker. Members of the Iranian women's national football team or soccer team for us North Americans, while traveling abroad for international competition, reached out to seek asylum. Why would someone want to reach out and seek asylum? Because the Iranian regime didn't just threaten them, they went after their families back home, parents, siblings. The regime picked up the phone and made it very clear. Come back now, or the people you love will pay the price. Sounds just like the Soviet Union. Think about that. And what that means. Where are your protests? Where's the George Soros and the family of the Rothschilds? Where's the goat pink? Where's your Grun? What's it, Grunberg? What's your name again? The uh Flotilla bitch? Greta Grunberg. Greta, Greta. You're a woman. She's a woman. Where's Greta? You know what, Greta? I hope you actually get this broadcast. She's an athlete. You've traveled outside of Iran, maybe for the first time in years. You're breathing free air and see what the world is really like. And instead of safety, instead of international community, wrapping your hands around you, getting, you know, getting a call telling you your mother is being threatened, your brother's being watched, come home or else. We did more for the Russians, the Ukrainians, the Czechoslovakians, the Slovakians, for every Olympics, every world. Where is the UN? That's not an authoritarianism. That's textbook. That's what a hostage situation is. And that, and that, this is not just a one-off. The Iranians have been doing this regime for 45 years against journalists, academics, dissidents, dual nationals. The IRGC, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard, runs coercion networks against Iranians living abroad. In Canada, they discovered a couple of thousand, the United States, and the U.S. Department of State designated the IRGC as a foreign terrorist organization in 2019. A terrorist organization operating in real time against women who play soccer in the United States and in Canada. And the feminist left looked the way. Let's just talk about hypocrisy for just a moment. I've been sitting on these, and I want you to hear them out loud. Let's talk about our favorite woman, favorite women from the view. Joy Bihar, Whoopi Goldberg, Sonny Austin. These women have more television air time than most sitting United States senators, including AOC. And they use every minute to tell you with absolute moral certainty that America is the most dangerous, oppressive, fascist nation on the planet. Sonny Austin has stated on the air that America is one of the most dangerous places for women and women of color. Verify fact. You want to know when? I can give you the date and time. Whoopi compared January 6th, a riot at the Capitol, to the Holocaust. Joy Bahara's called Donald Trump America on camera to millions of viewers, not a functioning democracy. This is a fact pattern, not a transcript. But here is what I want y'all to know. Here is the question I'm genuinely asking because I want the answer from all of you commenting on our posts, clearly, not from a Western country. Clearly, more than likely of the Muslim face. Why Amir Nazar Azdani was on death row for going to a protest in support of women's female soccer players, were getting their families threatened by a terrorist government. What an episode. Dictated by that. You know, I'll wait. That's the question they'll never answer because answering it honestly would blow up their entire worldview and maybe get the IRGC to go chase them down on the internet. Now let's talk about Congress. Alexios Ocasa Cortez, AOC, June 2019, stated that United States immigration detention facilities were, in her words, not mine, sourced by, I don't know, Twitter, uh X, you know, whatever you want to call it, interviews, June 2019, report on Fox News, Daily Wire, Washington Exam, concentration camps for immigration processing. That's the level of rhetoric escalated that she reached, comparing America to Nazi Germany for detaining migrants, immigrants, illegals. But when Iran sentenced a protester to death in the streets of Tehran that are soaked with blood of people who just wanted to be free. That's it. They just wanted AOC social media was running fundraising appeals and climate content. You know, Elon Omar, what a sack of shit. Congresswoman who has built her entire political brand on human rights from where? Oh God. From where? From being the concise of the oppressed, speaking for the voiceless. You know, where was the floor speech? Where was the press conference? Where were the resolutions? Because to tweet about it, she's always finding time for that shit, just not for the women of Iran, her fellow Muslim women. And the women march, let's not forget the women's march, the organization that mobilized what? Millions of people in pink hats the day after Trump's inauguration, January 2017. You know, for decades, for 45 years or more, three to five million people for an inaugural inauguration for a democratic transfer of power they didn't like. Did they mobilize for Masha Amini? Did they march for the women of Iran soccer team? Did they organize a single rally in Washington, New York, Michigan for a women's life freedom? No. The silence from the organizations isn't just an oversight. It's not a scheduling conflict. It's a deliberate political choice. That's the dirty secret that progressive left don't want you to speak about aloud. Their human rights framework, all of it fits a march or a hashtag, every teary-eyed monologue on the view only activates when villain is America or Israel, or a Republican or Donald J. Trump. The villains can't be an Islamic theocracy because the movement you say out loud, you've broken the coalition, and the coalition matters more than women. David. Not Joy Bihar. She goes home to her Manhattan apartment in her car service and security. Not AOC. She goes home with her congressional office and security detail. Not women that march and organize the homes, fundraising, databases, fees, sorrows campaign. The people who pay for silence are the Iranian women who got on a plane for a soccer tournament. And they had to make an impossible decision. David, I've taken this whole rant. Oh yeah. I've taken this whole rant. You know, and and if you want to really let me keep going, I can't, but I'm gonna stop.
SPEAKER_00Here's the thing, Stuart. You hit the nail on the head. I'm sick and tired of listening to these do-gooders claim to be more holding the moral high ground. Megan Rapino. Many loved her. She's an American soccer player. She's retired now. One of the most famous American soccer players. And um when when when asked, you know, what did she decide? It was much, much more important to call out, you know, to to to not criticize what happened with Iranian women, but to focus on transgender rights in in sports. That America is a terrible place because we're we're not letting transgender integrate into women's sports. And she blasted the international Olympic community community for making that call, the United States for making that call, because that's what she wants to focus on. But the lives of these Iranian soccer women were in peril. And to sit here and to say that the United States is the worst place in the world, and you hear what you said about Sonny Austin, wanna made me vomit. I got it. I got it. I don't know what is. Where is it perfect, Stuart? You could sit here all you want and you could tell me, you know, uh Caribbean island is great, but the United States is flawed. Canada's flawed, the West is flawed, every country is flawed. I can find good things in another country that I can't find on my own. It doesn't mean it's bad. Salim Mohamedi. I don't know if you know the name, Stuart. He's a 19-year-old Iranian wrestler who was executed three weeks ago in Iran. Because he was protesting. The world knew this wrestler was going to be executed. And there was such silence, it was vile. Government stayed quiet, the left stayed quiet. The left has a problem, Stuart. These Joey Bahars and Rocky Goldbergs and Megan Rapinos and AOCs and Elon Omar's, they have a problem. Their brand is about making US bad. If US is bad, my version of good is what you're going to embrace. But when the reality hits them in the face that this isn't bad, it's not great, it's not bad. That's problematic. So when you hear these remarks from athletes who have a podium and are critical of the United States, I mean, Megan Rapino ripped the US women's hockey team and the men's hockey team. Really? That's what you need to stand for, Megan? That the men's hockey team went out and partied with Cash Patel, that the women actually sang the US national anthem with such fervor and pride. This is what you went after. Where there's a real threat. Where you know you don't want to notice you folks on the left. But there's no internet in Iran. I've spoken to people who have family in Iran. They can't communicate with their family. And when they do get that minor window of opportunity, they're all sitting saying the same thing. Thank you to the US. Thank you to Israel. Thank you for those who are supporting regime change. Thank you for those who want to make a change. But no, you see, that because that would disp would make the left look bad. Because what they've always been telling you is the US and by extension Israel are the worst in the world. There's no country worse than that. And when Joy Reed goes on to and says that Iranian women and American women are equally oppressed, give your head a shake. You said it yourself. That woman who went out into the streets where her hijab was off and she didn't want to readjusted. It wasn't, but it was beaten senseless. You call it the fashion police. It's the religious police. That's who really beat her up. The people who uphold the mullah's demands, the religious demands, that's who beat her up. One condemnation in the UN. Not by UN women, not by these lefty feminists, not by anybody on the view. In fact, they threw they put the story under wraps. They didn't want to go there. The streets of Iran blew up. People were in the streets furious and were beaten senseless to go back to being the citizens that the Iranian government wants them to be. This is what you want. You're comparing. Comparing the ICE to the IRGC, man oh man, oh man, are you messed up? The United States, Canada, flaws left, right, and center. I don't love where my country's going. I don't love a lot of things that the United States is doing is doing right now. But if you ask me today, would I move to the United States? The answer is yeah. Certain parts of the US I would move to. And people call me nuts. How dare you? What are you crazy? Look at those gun-toted Americans. Look at those crazy. Yeah. But look at the but the beauty of the country. Free speech, education, all kinds of other things that could are available to capitalism, opportunity to to to to thrive at home. No oppression from the government. No oppression from like from an IRGC. People who want to protect me. This is the problem with the left steward. And I'll wrap it up with this. The moment that the left gets a taste of their medicine, maybe they'll wake up and go, maybe we got this wrong, maybe we're down the wrong path. But to listen to crazies like AOC, Elon Omar, Rashida Talib, um, Corey Bush, and all the rest of these women who are standing there and telling you how bad life is in the United States. If Elon Omar and Rashida Talib and AOC were to go back to the countries of their origin and their family's origin, what do you think their life would be? You think they'd be millionaire congresspeople? Nope. Nope. They'd be beaten senseless in societies that have no women's rights. Imagine, Stuart, Somalia, the Palestinian territories, there's no women's rights. And these women have the audacity to shit all over the United States, calling it the worst place to be. I don't get it.
Names To Say And Final Challenge
SPEAKER_01David, the Iranian people aren't asking us to fight their war. They want to fight it themselves in the street, in soccer matches, in Australia, in small acts of defiance. Costs him everything. The least we can do is not look away. Say his name, Mojataba Tarshiz. Say the women's names of the Iranian soccer team, who we don't know what their fate will be in that country. Ask yourself loudly, proudly, repeatedly, where is the outrage? People claim the high ground. They don't hate oppression. They hate Republicans. And the women of Iran are paying the price for that distinction every day. I'm Stuart Brisgale. That's David Solomon. Say her name, Masha Amini. Share this episode. Share the Rant Network. And we'll see you on Friday.
