Iran is threatening to murder the President of the United States and his family. The ceasefire in Gaza is gone. Israel is turning 78 years old surrounded by enemies who have been trying to erase her since the day she was born. And the left — the same left that puts "Coexist" bumper stickers on their Priuses — is cheering for the other side.

No Music And No Safety
SPEAKER_00All right, guys, no music today. Iran is threatening to murder the President of the United States and his entire family. The ceasefire and Gaza is gone. And Israel turned 78 years. And surrounded by its enemies who have been trying to erase her since the day she was born. And the left, the same left that has put coexist on bumper stickers on their cruisers, is cheering for the other side. I'm Stuart Brisgale. This is The Rant Network. And if you thought the show was going to play it safe today, it came to the wrong place on the wrong day. Let's start with what just happened in the mainstream media. If you skim it, you might pass right by it. The ceasefire in Gaza is over. Don't done done. What fragile truce had been holding held together with diplomatic duct tape, wishful thinking, and sheer force at the American pressure, Hamas blew it up. Not metaphorically. They chose to blow it up because Hamas doesn't want peace. Hamas has never wanted peace. Hamas wants the same destruction of the state of Israel, and they will say so in their own charter, in their own words. On their own television, if you bothered to listen, Israel is 78. Think about that for just a moment. In 78 years, Israel built a desert into a democracy. They built universities, hospitals, a world-class tech sector. They developed one of the most sophisticated military defense systems on earth, the Iron Dome, specifically because of their neighbors has spent every single one of those 78 years trying to kill them and eradicate them. They didn't build the Iron Dome because they were bored. They didn't build it because rockets weren't flying and raining down on their children's head. And on the week of Israel's 78th birthday, the week the world should have been raising a glass to a miracle of the Jewish state of survival, Hamas reignited the war. The ceasefire is in ashes. Iran openly, publicly threatened the life of the President of the United States and his kids. Let me repeat it, because I want it to land right in your face. Iran is threatening Donald J. Trump, the office of the President of the United States, and his entire family. Not a back channel intelligent report, not a whisper and a diplomatic warning. The Iranian regime, officials, and the state-aligned media have made a direct, implicit threat against him. Threats tied to potential retaliation for any further U.S. or Israeli military action against Iran's nuclear program or its proxies. We are not talking about some rogue Twitter account. We're talking about the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran. A regime that already attempted to assassinate Donald Trump during the 2024 campaign. A regime that has American blood on its hands dating back to Jimmy Carter's 1979. A regime that has funded Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthis, and countless others. And every group currently firing rockets at allies. And what was the American media's reaction to Iran's threatening a sitting U.S. president and his family? Yes, silence. A shrug. Some outlets buried it below the fold. Others spent more columns, inches on Trump's handicap. That is Gulf handicap. If Iran had threatened Barack Obama, it would have been a week-long crisis. Congressional hearings, candlelight vigils, calls for war. But it's Trump. It's just Tuesday. It's just Wednesday. It's an everyday occurrence. This is the world we live in today. And I'm done pretending it's normal. Here's what infuriates me most. And I mean, this really infuriates me. For years we were told that the path to peace in the Middle East ran through Israel's concessions. Give up land, accept a two-state solution, trust the Palestinian Authority, the PA. Pull back settlements, show restraint, be proportionate. The entire foreign policy establishment, State Department lifers, European diplomats, UN bureaucrats, think tank scholars, and whoever's been within a thousand miles of Hamas rockets, told Israel again and again, be flexible. And Israel, against its own security instincts, against the lessons of every terrorist attack it has endured, played along. They participated in a ceasefire agreement, they released prisoners, they sent aid, they paused military operations, they gave diplomacy every possible chance. What did they get for it? October 7th. Twelve hundred innocent men, women, and children slaughtered in their homes at a music festival on a kibbutz. Babies, elderlies, young women taken hostages, raped, murdered, and beheaded, and the world spent the next 18 months debating Israel's response while those hostages were still in tunnels. Not Geneva Convention cells, but tunnels, terror tunnels. Now the ceasefire has collapsed again. And you know that the left, what the left is doing? The same thing they always do. They're demanding Israel stand down. They're calling for another ceasefire, another pause, another round of talks, another cycle of beg Hamas to stop. That has never, not once, ever produced anything except the rearmament of Israel's enemies. Here's the hypocrisy I want you to sit with. The same progressive politicians who screamed about January 6, who called it an insurrection, who demanded accountability for every person who walked into the Capitol are utterly silenced when Iran threatens to kill a U.S. sitting president and his children. Remember Barack Obama's children? They were off limits. Not Donald J. Trump's. The same media figure talking heads who spent four years warning about threats to democracy cannot bring themselves to call Iran a threat against democracy or an act of war. The same European governments that lecture Israel about proportionality funded Palestinian civil institutions for decades, knowing full well that the money flowed into Hamas' infrastructure, Hamas schools, Hamas propaganda, bought Hamas weapons, and now, acting all shocked, Hamas is still fighting. It'd be funny if it weren't soaked in blood, broken lives, and destroyed families. Let's talk about free Palestine. That crowd for just a second. Because they're not going away. These are people marching on college campuses, blocking highways, screaming at Jewish students, defacing synagogues, attacking Jewish people in the street. Let me ask them the direct question: which Palestine do you want freed? The one where women can't walk outside without a male escort, the one where being gay is punishable by death and hanging in public squares. We're the one where Hamas execute political opponents in the street, the one where children are taught in schools that Jews are subhuman and martyrdom is a heroic act. That's the Palestine you're marching for? Because that's what Hamas runs. And Hamas is not the resistance. Hamas is a death cult in military gear. Israel has every right, every legal, moral, and military right to destroy them completely. And America should be standing shoulder to shoulder with Israel while they do. And not question it. Let me bring this home because it isn't just about Israel. It's about America. It's about what kind of world we live and we're choosing to live in. Iran has threatened to kill the family. Not the president alone, the family. You need to understand what that means. It means the Islamic Republic of Iran, a state-sponsored of terror, an enemy of the United States for 47 years, has decided threatening the American president is acceptable. Diplomatic tool. It means they believe they can do it with impunity. It means they are watching to see whether there are consequences. And the calculations begin. The question is whether America will respond with strength or absorb the insult in silence. That's the most important question in geopolitics right now. Because Iran isn't operating alone. They're operating as a head of an access. Iran funds Hamas. Iran funds Hezbollah. Iran funds and bags Houthis that, by the way, are still attacking ships in the lanes of the Red Sea. Iran is a strategic partner with Russia. Iran is sharing drone technology with China's partners. Iran's proxies are on three continents. This isn't a regional conflict. This is an open chapter of war that's much larger. And the question is whether the United States and Israel and the Western world will finish it on our terms, not on theirs. I want to say something to every American who has a son, a daughter, a sibling in the military. This matters to me, and this matters for you. Because if Iran and his proxies were allowed to threaten and re-arm, reconstitute without consequence, the next conflict will what? Be smaller or larger. More American lives, more of our treasured, more of our credibility burned. The cheapest war is the one you win decisively before the enemy gets stronger. And I want to say something to the Jewish community in America, and I want to mean this with everything I have. What's happening in Israel is not a foreign policy abstraction. It's not a campus debate. It's survival of one democracy in the Middle East that shares our values, our intelligence, our technology, and our history. When we said never again, they meant it. We meant it. And you should mean it too. Seventy-eight years ago, the state of Israel was declared against impossible odds. Surrounded by armies on every side with almost nothing, they fought, they survived, they built, they won. And seventy-eight years, they are still here, still fighting, refusing to disappear in history. The only question that matters is whether America, this America, right now, has the spine and fortitude to stand up for freedom. September 11th wasn't a minute ago. I believe we do. I believe Donald Trump gets it in a way the foreign policy establishment never has. Operation Epic Fury proved it. The pressure campaign against Iran's proxies has proved it. The willingness to stare down the UN and the European hand-wringers and do this strategically right. That's what real leadership looks like in the modern era. But Iran is watching, Hamas is watching, Hezbollah is watching, the Houthis are watching, China is watching, Russia is watching. All of the Western enemies from within and without are watching. They are watching to see if the threats against the Trump family produce a response or just a press release. Here is your line today. I want you to write it down. Write it down and remember it. When your enemy openly promises to kill you on your 78th birthday in front of the whole world, the response from the global community is a polite diplomatic no. That isn't peace. That is a permission slip. Israel doesn't need the world's permission to survive, and neither does America. I'm Stuart Brisgale. Today is Wednesday, Israel's 78th birthday. This is the Rant Network. David and I will see you on Friday. Stay tuned.
