Don’t Hate Elon Musk Because He Succeeded
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
“If success triggers you, maybe the problem isn’t capitalism — maybe it’s your envy.” This episode of The Rant Network detonates the hypocrisy of politicians and pundits who vilify Elon Musk for doing what America was built to celebrate: innovation, risk, and reward. As SpaceX rockets past Amazon and Musk becomes the world’s first trillionaire, the left scrambles to call it unfair, immoral, or dangerous — anything but what it really is: proof that the American dream still works when government gets out of the way. From PayPal to Tesla to Starlink, Musk’s fingerprints are on nearly every modern breakthrough, yet the same voices who benefit from his inventions demand he be punished for success. This rant asks the question no one on Capitol Hill wants to answer: when did achievement become a crime? Succeeded

America At 250 And Opportunity
SPEAKER_00Welcome back to Hump Day. You know what that crowd is cheering for? The crowd is cheering for, you know, in a couple of weeks, you're gonna celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States, you know, a country that was found in an opportunity. And if you ask, you know, when your descendants came to the United States, and or not just sorry, your antecedents, that's the word I'm looking for. Your your ancestors who came to the United States, and mine who came to this part of the world, whatever, were looking for opportunity. And when you hear about when you and I were growing up, all you heard was the American dream. All you heard about was what made America great. And you know what sucks, Stuart? And I'm Canadian, and I keep and people are like asking me, why do I keep talking about America like that? Because that's what it was founded on, that's what made America cool. Canada took advantage of that and benefited from it. But man, oh man, Stuart, can you explain to me why Democrats hate success that isn't their own?
SPEAKER_01Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy.
SpaceX IPO And The Trillionaire Claim
SPEAKER_01All right, David. Let's first start, let's back it up, right? Because we we we we gotta first, you know. Lay the foundation come.
SPEAKER_00Lay the foundation, Stuart. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_01We gotta frame it, right? SpaceX IPO dropped on June 15th and its first day of trading. Elon became the first world trillionaire, net worth 1.4 trillion. That's according to Forbes. And it's a lot of money. SpaceX surpassed Amazon market cap according to the federal news. Musk could lose Lee could lose nearly a trillion dollars and still be the richest person on earth. That's according to Yahoo Finance. It's crazy. It's nuts. I mean, that's that's all we needed. Now, let me rebuild this little intro monologue that I put down. So let's just start. I just wanted to drop that. The don't hate Elon, the hate that he's winning. That's really what frames this today. Two days ago, Elon Musk became the world's first trillionaire. Not a billionaire, a trillionaire with a T, capital T, with a big fucking T. And America's left. The people who told you he was a fraud, a danger of fascist, a Bond villain, woke up Monday morning and had to read the headlines. I want you to think about how that felt for them. You know, crying rooms. And then I wanted you to understand why they spent five years trying to destroy this man and why they have failed and continue to fail. I think let's just start there. Let's do the numbers first because facts aren't don't care about feelings. And David, I really don't care about feelings either, which clearly you've known for many years. On Monday, 2026 went public. First day of trading, and the bell rang, and Elon's necks crossed 1.4 trillion, making him not just the richest person on earth, but the richest human being in the history of recorded civilization. Yep. Good luck, Ji Jong Ping. SpaceX didn't just go public, it went nuclear. Sorry, Putin. He beat you too. The company's market cap surpassed Amazon, the most valuable corporation ever built on Earth on its first day of trading. Let's think about that. Let's literally think it. Let it sink in. Jeff Bezos spent 30 years building a book club. Elon Musk built a rocket company and beat it every single trading session in history combined. And here's the numbers that should make every leftist senator head explode. Yahoo Finance reports this week, Elon Musk can lose nearly $1 trillion. A trillion. And he would still be the wealthiest person on the planet. I just can't make this shit up. Guys, he's so far ahead on the scoreboard. The scoreboard didn't even go that high. You know, the commercial where the where the with the theme of temperature goes, it just it's gone. It doesn't exist.
Why SpaceX Scale Changes Everything
SPEAKER_01Now, why does this matter? Beyond the spectacle, because what SpaceX is, in 2023 alone, SpaceX SpaceX conducted 98 rocket launches, more than any government space program in the history of the planet. That runs on 93 Raptor engines, 17, 17 million pounds of thrust. NASA's own inspector general said a government program attempting what SpaceX pulled off intimately would have taken 20 plus years. SpaceX did it faster, cheaper, better, and then took it in public and made a history yet again. This is what American capitalism looks like. And when you get a government out of the way, no one got hurt, no one got killed, no government was overthrown. So what did American left try and do? Burn it to the ground because it's against their ideology. How could someone do this and not be a fascist? Because they're the fascists. In 2025, over 50 Tesla locations were vandalized, torched, and attacked by left-wing activists across the United States and around the world. The FBI opened a domestic terrorism investigation. Do you understand? Domestic terrorism against a car dealership because they didn't like Elon Musk, who frankly doesn't own the dealership's cars. They're owned by individuals because they have no inventory, because they sell everything, you idiots. And while those terrorists were torching personal Teslas that belonged to people, Senator Elizabeth Warren was on a podium demanding Musk be
Vandalism Claims And Corruption Accusations
SPEAKER_01removed from his government role, accusing him of corruption with zero evidence, zero charges, zero loss cited, and typical Pocahontas fake bullshit style. Meanwhile, Dodge, that's Musk's Dodge, had found 160 billion in government waste that Warren's colleagues knew about and did nothing. And you know what? Senator Warren, I don't hear you clamoring about that, you psycho. They're not mad about corruption. They are the corruption. Musk has shown up with a recipe on showing you what corruption looks like, and then he made a trillion dollars doing nothing of the sort. Is it the fact that you're jealous that he made more money than your corruption can garner? I mean, let's think about it. Here's what's really going on the left built an ecosystem of fraud. It uses the media, academia, big tech, government, bureaucracy by job boning, now threatening the fuck out of anyone who dared across them. That ran on one fuel. Your fucking ignorance. The moment Musk brought Publix Square, audited federal books, and put American rockets in orbit faster than any nation on Earth, he didn't threaten anyone's power in the process. He didn't claim any government role. He exposes their failure at nausea. And now, two days after SpaceX IPO made him the world's first trillionaire, they have to live with this every smear, every senator subpoena, every arson, every late night joke, and the man targeted is a $1.4 trillion richer for it. Fuck you, Colbert. The left doesn't hate Elon because he's dangerous. They hate him because he's right, honest, and doesn't better than you. And let me tell you something. I'm laughing. I can't stop David. He's probably live streamed The Reckoning from Orbit, paid for by SpaceX shareholders. God bless America. I mean, 250
Canada Comparisons And Government Waste
SPEAKER_01years, and Elon Musk trumps them all. Listen, David, you live in Canada. No way. The government sank a billion international broadband strategy and public aerospace industries, neither of which launched a single rocket in Canada, a single rural community that Starlink hasn't already covered. What a waste of Canadian dollars. SpaceX IPO made Musk richer than any Canadian government program has ever funded combined. Does Ottawa look what Musk built? No. Or they feel inspired or threatened. And you know what, David? The funny thing is, what is little Mark Carney going to say today? The left campaign included boycotting, media hit pieces, how to how to bring Chinese weapons into Canada, which are those vehicles that they can blow up at a moment's notice. You know, I don't get it. At the end of the day, David, here I live in the United States. Here I live where the world is being hummed and odd by a man who's a foreigner who immigrated to the United States and proved how powerful the American dream could be. Not just plant a seed, water it, plant the seed, till the earth, nurture the soil, garner sun, continue to water, work the land, and ultimately you have a tree that grows, that bears fruit. And that fruit is what Elon Musk has given not only to his shareholders, but to the entire globe. Starlink, those satellites that launch literally outside of one of my clients' homes every day. These rockets go up and his windows rattle. I hear the stories. He's actually recorded Artemis Free. I gotta tell you, the man has brought more positive to the world than every single Democratic senator and Democrat Congressperson has done in the last 25 years. He has given more safety and security than any government has given on the left to any civilian or citizen that it represents in a single day. Sorry, David.
SPEAKER_00No, no, actually, this is great. I gotta tell you. And this is this is where I'm actually surprised,
Musk’s Track Record Across Industries
SPEAKER_00Stuart, where you didn't really stick the knife in. Ladies and gentlemen, Elon Musk. Stuart said he was an immigrant. He's about my he's about our age. He's a little younger. He's 54 years old, born in South Africa. Mom's Canadian, so we got Canadian citizenship, came to Canada. This is not the place for it to be. And he ends up in the United States, goes to the University of Pennsylvania. Gets his BA, gets his B.S. Bachelor of Science for those of you. And he became a citizen of the United States in 2002. Proud American. He can't be president, clearly, because he's born in South Africa. But what he's done was had massive, massive impact. Now, let me ask you all this question. Stuart touched on this, but let's talk a little bit about what he's done that has impacted your life. For example, he was the co-founder of PayPal. You know about PayPal? eBay about PayPal. Do you realize how often in your life what PayPal has done for you and in the domino effect of the development of PayPal? Think about that. He bought X. Oh, I know that was Twitter. And all of a sudden the haters came out and said, Oh, you're gonna do it, turn it into this, and in the meantime, it's one of the most successful platforms out there, and you're all using it. It was part of open AI. And if you haven't been using that stupid thing called Chat GPT, Stuart, then I guess you're a moron, right? Or something along that line. Elon Musk touched that. Elon Musk, when he started Tesla, did something that no company, no car manufacturer did. Stuart, he left all the technology, all of the development research open. Something the GM4 never opened up their technology because he wanted to accelerate the development of an electric car. Excuse me, folks, we're having internet issues here today. So here's the crazy thing, Stuart. He launches Tesla, and then he goes out and says, Let's do SpaceX. Because the American dream back in the 1960s, when John Kennedy said that by the end of the decade, I love that, that we're gonna put a man on the moon. It's what was the American dream. And look how Americans reacted when Artemis was was went into space this past year. The reaction, the excitement, the pride that is USA. Yeah, one Canadian on board. But look what happened. America's gone back to the moon. And yes, America wakes up with the space program whenever the Soviets or the Chinese or whoever is added. But if it wasn't for what SpaceX has done, where would we be today when it comes to the space race? So here's the
Envy Wealth Taxes And Punishing Success
SPEAKER_00head scratcher, Stuart. Why the envy? Why the anger? And a man who's touched all of their lives. That the impact that he has done to try to electrify vehicles, that's being punished. That he's trying to keep America strong in space, that he's being punished. That he's influencing AI in a more positive way, that he's being punished for. He's being punished for success. He's being punished for what he's provided. And that I find insane, insane. Yeah, I know. As of yesterday, he was worth only he was 1.3 trillion. And if he lost it, you know, poor him, he would, you know, he would really be, you know, he would be head of Larry Page. Now you're saying who's Larry Page? That's Google. That didn't change your life. No, let's punish Larry Page. How about Sergey Brin, who's worth about 280 billion? No, let's punish him because he, you know, from Google. How about Jeff Bezos, who's worth $255 billion, Stewart? No, let's punish him because of what he's done. And then there's Larry Ellison who had Oracle. Let's punish him. He's only worth $237 billion. That is the message of the Democratic Party. Punish those who succeed. That's insane, Stuart. Bernie Sanders, who continues to like rip everybody, says, here's the it's absurd. A trillionaire, it's absurd. All the more reason we should increase the cap bunding on taxable income. And I'm thinking, wait a minute, if the man is worth now $1.3 trillion, what's his tax bill look like right now? Yeah, he has a foundation. He's gonna put money God knows where. He believes in STEM, he believes in all these things. And I'm thinking, all Bernie can do and all Elizabeth Warren can yell about is you know, and murky from Massachusetts, Graham Platiner, that Nazi, all these people believe that it's wrong to succeed. It's wrong. It's not like this is, you know, some rich person is gonna steal like money from poor people, their employers. How many people? I don't even know how many people Elon Musk employs. I don't know what kind of changes made in universities to get people to be inspired to do more RD, to develop more, to chase that success. And all these idiot Democrats want to do is claim that it is wrong to succeed, and we should punish them by taxing them more. Elon Musk's tax bill, Stuart, must be crazy now. At one point two at $1.3 trillion. I can only imagine how much tax he's got to pay.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, well, actually, I I actually, you know, the capitalization of SpaceX, just so you know, is is between 2.1 and 2.5 trillion. That's the market capitalization
Insider Trading Suspicions And Closing
SPEAKER_01of only, by the way, only four percent of his company is available on the market. Yeah, so the other 96% isn't even for sale.
SPEAKER_00So here's the thing why I think these democrats are pissed off.
SPEAKER_01That he owns most of his company still and they can't buy it.
SPEAKER_00Ah, you're almost there. You see, these democrats are upset because usually when it comes to insider trading, they get a foothold, they get a step, they they they actually get you know first pick. Well, let me ask you a question, Stuart. I would love, and I wish I could, but I can't. Open up Elizabeth Warren, Ed Murkey, and good old Bernie Sanders portfolios and see how much of SpaceX do they own? How much of Tesla do they own? How much of X do they own, these bastards? Hmm. It's easy to criticize, Stuart, but it's funny how all they want to do is squash success in America.
SPEAKER_01You know what, David?
SPEAKER_00Okay, he's done. There's nothing more to say. See you guys on Friday. Have a good one, everyone. Bye.
