How A Congressional Israel Trip Became A Campaign Weapon
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
If your party treats an ally like a political prop, they’re choosing optics over national security. A sitting U.S. congressman flew to Israel, returned with a dramatic claim that was publicly contradicted by America’s own ambassador, and turned a wartime visit into a manufactured controversy. That clash exposes how political incentives can warp foreign policy into content—photo‑ops, fundraising clips, and outrage‑bait replace sober statesmanship while allies get used as lightning rods. Demand accountability, not performative theater: stop weaponizing crises for domestic gain and insist on leaders who defend partners instead of exploiting them; confirm the facts with trusted news sources before sharing.

Friday Opener And Frustration
SPEAKER_01Happy Friday. It is. It's life in a box. You know, what do I'm gonna tell you? I feel it's like ground time day, dude.
SPEAKER_00You know, ground time day. Really? And Stuart, why can it be round like that? Is it possible? Because let's see now.
The Israel Trip Controversy
SPEAKER_00The Democrat Party continues to be stupid with its position on Israel and it continues to grow with anti-Semites. Do they not learn from their own lesson? What do you think, Stuart? Help me to understand this, please. What's wrong with the Dems this time?
SPEAKER_01All right, all right, all right. A sitting United States congressman flew to Israel. Nothing out of the ordinary. A country at war. Came home claiming he was mistreated, got publicly contradicted by his own country's ambassador, gave quotes to the Israeli press undermining the prime minister, and then had the nerve to call it diplomacy. Rokana didn't go to Israel to show solidarity. He went to Israel to shoot a campaign video, and Mike Huckabee had to clean up the wreckage. Let me be precise about what happened. Because the media is going to gloss over, and I'm not going to let them. Claims that were dramatic enough, inflammatory enough that United States ambassador to Israel, Huckabee, had to issue a public statement to knock them down. Huckabee stated flatly that Kana was not held at gunpoint. Yep. The clown claims he was held at gunpoint. What a retard. Read that again. Not held at gunpoint. That's not a clarification. That's not a diplomatic walkback. That is a sitting ambassador to a wartime alley, publicly humiliating a member of his own country's Congress. Because that congressman was apparently willing to let the world think, even treated by Israel, threatened by Israeli forces. On Israeli soil, nonetheless, during an Israeli fight for its survival. But it gets worse because Khan didn't just stop at the victim narrative. He sat down with Ha'aretz, left-leaning Israeli media, and declared, and I quote, Israel has lost America under 50. BB Netanyahu has antagonized an entire generation. Wow. A sitting U.S. congressman on foreign soil in a country fighting a war against terrorists who murdered over a thousand civilians, fired thousands of thousands of rockets, and he's given quotes to the press saying Israel lost a generation of Americans. Not yet, privately, not in a classified briefing, in a newspaper interview. While we're still on this trip, Dave, the diplomacy, that's not it. That is an enemy propaganda with a congressional letterhead. The Jerusalem Center for Security and Foreign Affairs called it exactly what it was. They titled their response piece as Rokana Stunt and argued that Israel needs to develop a coordinated strategic response to his growing pattern of democratic lawmakers visiting Israel as political theater. And they're right, because this isn't a one-off. This is a strategy. Democrats fly to Israel. They create a controversy, they manufacture a moment, they fly home, and then they post clips. They fundraise off the extreme left an outrage. While Kahana, Kana, the moron, was on his victim tour, the international community was actually moving toward Israel. Columbia announced this week it was pulling out of the ICJ against Israel. The international tide is turning, and yet a sitting congressman in a Tel Aviv doing an interview designed to turn it back. Rokana didn't go to Israel to support an ally. He went to Israel to build a brand, a progressive base. And he was willing to throw a wartime democracy under a bus to do it. Again, Huckabee had to tell the world he wasn't held at gunpoint because a congressman wouldn't do it. That's because the DNC relationship with Israel 26 not hostile enough to cut ties, not brave enough to stand with them, just useful enough to exploit when cameras are on. So do Americans, and so do Californians. Tell me.
Aid Vote And Party Drift
SPEAKER_01How do you feel?
SPEAKER_00Well, let me tell you something. Rokana is not the only one who decided that Israel is the lightning bolt and the lightning rod, I should say, that the party's going after. If you saw this week, there was a vote to cut aid to Israel. 103 Democrats voted to cut aid to Israel. That's about half Congress, the sitting Congress people. And you're asking yourself, Stuart, the question is what where did it all go awry? Well, the hard left, which is growing in strength and popularity within the Democratic Party, which many say they don't see. You got those who are questioning whether they should be part of it. John Fetterman, as we said on Wednesday, said, if this is where the party's going, I'm out. That's what it that's because the party has lost its moral high ground. Its morality is completely tainted because the socialist movement has taken over and has created uh an us versus them like we've never we haven't seen in probably a hundred years.
Rahm Emanuel And Election Meddling Claims
SPEAKER_00But it's not just Rokan distort. Rahm Emanuel goes to Israel. He's a former US ambassador to Japan. He was in the Obama administration. He goes to the left-leaning Tel Aviv University, okay, and gives a speech that vilifies the living hell of the Netanyahu and warns everybody you will be isolated because you guys are using the, as he put it, you know, it's the wrong tools. If all you have is a hammer, everything you look at is a nail. Your military is a hammer, such that to the Prime Minister Netanyahu, every security challenge is a nail. Rahm Emmanuel, who sits comfortably in the United States, who can pontificate on really what's wrong in Israel, has decided because he's a lefty, because he's a Democrat, that all Republicans, all conservatives are guilty of the same thing. He claims that Israel's reached a dead end. There's nowhere to go. So let me ask you a question about election interference, Stuart. Isn't it interesting? There's an election in Israel in October. And what Gun Rama Manuel was trying to do as a as a as a selfish Democrat who wants to run in 2028 is to convince Israelis that they need to throw Netanyahu out and bring a lefty government in. That's what he wants. And that's what Rokhana is trying to do as well. Rokhana is trying to get himself elected for 2028. He wants to be the Democratic nominee. And yeah, they're full of names like Gavin Newsom, AOC. And in order to defeat an AOC who is quite popular, you either have to correct her or be worse than her. Because if you're like her, it's not enough. She's got the charm, she's got the allure. Although you like to keep reminding everybody she's a bartender who turned congressperson, she's still very popular, and apparently Americans could give a shit about background because when Obama was elected, he was barely a one-time junior senator from Illinois. So here we are, ladies and gentlemen, in this world where the now the lightning rod, the ability to get accepted as a leader with its Democratic Party, is to absolutely defang, as they they like to say, their ally. Israel
UN Narratives And Genocide Claims
SPEAKER_00is the real beacon. This is going to be the rallying cry. The little state of Israel, 9 million people, housing more Christians in the Middle East than anywhere else, housing more religions practicing freely than anywhere else in the Middle East, where people can come and go and live freely, and he's not an apartheid state, he doesn't commit genocide. The United Nations already made this declaration. But Rokana continued to push the fact that Israel committed genocide, despite the fact that the United Nations finally, after nearly three years, has admitted there is no genocide in Gaza. But we need to repeat these tropes. We need to continue to have this going because how else can you win the support? I'm just I'm absolutely surprised. Once upon a time, to become president of the United States, you have to talk about domestic affairs. How are you going to make America better? What are you going to do for America? Now, the hottest topic is how do we cut off Israel? That's what the Democrats are running on. Americans today are hearing that we give away billions of dollars to Israel. What they don't hear is that that money comes right back to the United States in the form of purchasing, in the pervert in the form of shared technologies, shared intelligence. The money doesn't go into Benjamin Netanyahu's pockets, they go almost right back to the United States. But tell me, Israel is where the problem lies? Again, when you you we when when enough people believe that the fault, again, of the world are Jews, of Zionists, you create this ideology that it's it's the worst in the world. It's far, far from it. The United Nations has an agenda. They talk about one agenda line is every country in the world, and one agenda line is the treatment of Israel. Israel's had more UN resolutions against her than any other country combined. And yet, the United States, when it stands up for Israel, is now vilified by the left. It's now being attacked by lefties, that we shouldn't help a democracy. That they believe in this silly narrative that if you give the Palestinians their state, the world will be a better place. And it would be even better, and it would be even better if you got rid of the Jewish people.
Follow The Money On Foreign Aid
SPEAKER_01David, you made a statement that about how much money is given to Israel. You know, since 1946, nearly 90 billion dollars has been given in bilateral assistance to Egypt. I don't know if people can even realize it. They technically, I think they get $1.3 billion a year of justice aid. That doesn't come back into the U.S., David. Thank you for pointing that out. And the statistic is no one on the left is talking about that $1.3 billion that the U.S. gets zero benefit from. The only reason why they get it is because it was negotiated in Camp David. You know, that's 1979. It's not a new thing. It was to secure access to the Suez Canal, or that's what they're stating. It doesn't cost $1.3 billion to have a partner like Egypt, allegedly, keep a trade route like the Suez Canal open.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but but you're but you but but you're you you're you see, this is the problem, right? Selective, it's it's all selective outrage. Right.
Selective Outrage And Boycott Blowback
SPEAKER_00You know, you're not, I don't hear that, you know, the Democratic Party that claims that it's here to help people just got beaten down again on transgender, you know, sports. They've gotten beaten down on a whole bunch of things. They go after these lightning rod topics that they think that the that the United States of America cares for. The Democrats are trying to convince Americans that the Republicans are funding a war in the Middle East and Israel is controlling the Republicans. They're creating this narrative that doesn't exist. But in the meantime, blame Israel for the price of war and price of gas in in the United States that may go back to over $4. And you gotta ask yourself, since it's been a while since Israel fired a single shot at Iran, you're still blaming your Israel. You know, Israel is taking out the Hamas terrorists one by one, who killed people on on or kidnapped people on October 7th. And all they could focus on is Israel is a bad place. But the funny thing, the irony of that vote, by the way, the irony of this boycott on Israel, and we've seen it with SodaStream. If you want to boycott Israel, you will hurt the Palestinians. That's the irony, because the is the Palestinian, whatever their economy is like, many of it is tied into Israel. It doesn't exist without it. You want to give them electricity, you want to give them water, you want to give them upper, you know, other infrastructure. It's Israel providing it, not the Palestinians. So if you ruin Israel, you hurt Israel, no you hurt the Palestinians. It's not what Rama, it's not what AOC wants. It's what these Democrats have decided is that we're gonna cripple, we're gonna bring Israel to her knees. Israel, you know, do you you want it to be to be nuked? Stuart, I'm gonna tell you a quick thing and I'm gonna wrap it up
A Warning Story And Sign-Off
SPEAKER_00like this. Oliver North wrote a book a number of years ago, and I thought it was like probably about 20 years ago. If you remember Oliver North and the Iran Contra scandal and that whole business from way back when, he wrote a book about a Democratic president who happened to be female, who let Iran have a nuclear weapon and actually dropped one on Israel. The survivors ended up moving to Arizona. But the Democrats gave in time and time and time again to the Middle East demands, and it actually destroyed Israel and other and other countries. So it's fascinating. That book is really bothering me because there's so much reality in that. Not just the Gog and Magog that we believe from the Bible, but otherwise, like there the real this this insanity that the United States has an entire group of people who want to take an ally. And if I were an American ally today, I would be asking myself, am I next on the list to be vilified?
SPEAKER_01David, this is what the left has to say to you. All right, everybody, every Monday, Wednesday, Friday noon Easter David and I take it down. Tell you straight, tell you honestly, and you want to know something? We don't filter the words. All right, everybody. See y'all later. Have a good weekend.
