Hey y'all. Sound like I'm working on that one, don't I? Welcome back to the Rant Network. You can see flying solo. Stuart's out for the next couple of episodes. It's just gonna be me running riding a ship. And you know, when I'm alone, Stewart's not here. Gives me that opportunity to really pick on what goes on in Canada. Because unfortunately, with you know, with Stewart you know doesn't have that much exposure, you know, because American news doesn't care too much about Canada until Trump picks on Canada, and then it becomes an issue or USMCA. But we've got a problem in Canada, and we've got a massive, massive problem. In 2015, Canadians voted out Stephen Harper as prime minister. They wanted to go back to the liberals. Canada has been very strongly a liberal country, and Canadians say that they associate themselves very, very closely with liberal values and less with conservative values. And once upon a time, I kind of understood that. But today I don't. Today I don't understand what the values are. Because in the 11 years that we've had of liberals, 10 with Trudeau, and now over a year with Mark Carney, plus que ça change, plus que ça reste la main. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Liberal Era And Canada’s Decline

The same gutting of our country. Same promises, same results. Decline, decline, decline. Now let's give Mark Kearney credit where Marc where credit is due. Mark Kearney has traveled the world, signed an agreement with the UAE recently, has gone around the world to try to diversify Canada's trade and no longer relied just on the United States, something that Stephen Harper started, but Justin Trudeau destroyed. He ruined his relationship with China, ruined the relationship with India, and just played pretty boy as opposed to real leader. Tried to be more of that teacher, you know, that educator, having when he tried to teach Putin a lesson, which was hilarious. But Mark Kearney's a lot suave than that, let's call it. He's a lot more, you know, he's been there. He's played in those arenas most of his career. He goes the governor of the Bank of Canada and then the Bank of England. So he knows how to play the game with politicians, and he's quite aware of how to, you know, squeeze hands, rub shoulders, you name it. It's great. And yet, Mark Kearney was elected by Canadians for a reason. And that is to kind of get things going back to where they should have been. So what are

Soft-On-Crime Laws Under Fire

we talking about? You know, Mark Kearney promised safer streets. Mark Kearney said he was gonna be tougher on crime. The liberals said they're gonna do something about it. But instead, unfortunately, the facts continue to speak for themselves that crime continues to be a problem in Canada. There's a loose mindset, soft on crime laws like Bill C5 and C75, basically that it's part of a liberal policy that dangerous criminals can be released back on the streets. You heard me. Rapists, murderers, people who commit all kinds of assault, they're back on the street. Jail by day, bail by night. That's the philosophy of the Liberal Party of Canada. When we need safer streets, when we need to be able to go out at night, cities like Toronto, Vancouver, and others, you can't go out at night because of the fear. But that doesn't seem to matter to the Liberal Party

Housing Promises Versus Reality

of Canada. It's not important. The other thing is recently, you know, Mr. Kearney in his election promise promised half a million housing starts every single year. Now, if you have kids like I do, finding a home, buying a home, it's impossible. It's too expensive. Million-dollar starter homes don't make sense for anybody who's barely making $50,000 a year of salary. Families are scrambling of where they can live. They're living further and further and further and further away from urban centers because, frankly, with Trudeau's immigration policy of stuffing so many Canadians and together with new immigrants, when you think about we've grown a third in a short period of time from 30 to 40 million. Where are you putting all these people? And as a result, because of these problems, there are no houses. Homes for young people are gone. Even if you're a senior and you want to sell your home and you want to buy something smaller, you're paying a fortune for a two-bedroom apartment. Running in that two, three, four, five thousand dollars a month. It's insanity. And no, I'm not talking about luxury condos or luxury apartments. This is the everyday life in a downtown market. Urban centers are a problem. But remember, Mark Kearney promised you half a million housing starts. But what has he done so far? Well, unfortunately, the annual rate is about 239,000. Not even half. You think that's gonna help? And the worst part is the planning all the way till the election is gonna decrease every single year till almost 200,000 a year. So in the four years Mark Kearney was supposed to be, is supposed to be the prime minister, two million homes. Instead, you may not even see a million. That does not help. The additional people, the people who are looking for it. It's insane that the price right now, by the end of the year, is gonna be approximately $823,000 for a home, eight hundred and twenty-three thousand for the average home. That is crazy. Quebec City expected to rise by eight percent. Montreal and Winnipeg increased by five percent. Halifax, Edmonton, Regina, four percent higher. Now I get inflation. Now inflation that is not eight percent or five percent. Under two, supposed to be around two. And yet homes continue to rise. Mortgages continue to go up. Higher prices require higher incomes in Vancouver, Toronto, and Victoria now needing 225,000, 195, and 185 annually for each of those cities just to afford the average home. Did you hear what I said? $225,000 to live in Vancouver, $195,000 to live in Toronto, and $185,000 to live in Victoria. Even in places like Vancouver, Victoria, and Hamilton. Hamilton, Hamilton, an armpit. You need $157,000. And here in my beautiful city of Montreal, $128,000. That's insanity. That's just to afford the average home. Clearly, Mark Carney doesn't care. His jet set life, spending millions of dollars on his flights, ridiculous amounts of money, entertaining on flights and doing what he's doing. That's Mark Carney, the CEO. He's got his food budget, he's got his travel budget, and he's spending it. You're stuck at renting. And where are you renting? And what are you renting? Have you gone to look at apartments lately? Have you gone to look at homes lately? It's kind of nuts. But that, ladies and gentlemen, is Canada. We voted in this party for 11 and a half years wanting change. But as I said before, the more things change, the more things stay the same. Now, if that's all there were, if that's all it was, then I would say, okay.

Gordie Howe Bridge Promise Unravels

But Mark Carney lied to you, people. Mark Carney blatantly lied to you. And for once, or one of those rare times, the media kind of went out after him and said, What the hell? See, Gordy Howe Bridge, this bridge that you know is going from Ontario into Michigan, it's kind of cool, right? You know, it's a the Gordy Howe bridge for Canadians, it's a big deal. But Canada footed the bill. Billions of dollars spent on this bridge, billions of dollars spent on this bridge. And when Mark Kearney was asked, so how's this going to work out? He says, Ah, don't worry, don't worry, we're splitting the net profits after we pay back our debt. And the conservatives went hard after Mark Kearney, saying that's not what the agreement says. And members of his own caucus and his own party continue to fight, saying that the conservatives are spreading lies. There are videos on social media. The conservatives are spreading lies about this. This is not true. That in fact, that's the agreement. Until Mark Carney kind of went, well, yeah. I kind of didn't explain it right. It's nuts to believe that the Prime Minister of Canada has lied to Canadians yet again about bridge revenue that will be split half-half with the United States. We get footed the bill. There is no payback. There's no split until after the payback. In fact, what it is, is that under the agreement, 50% there's a there's a there's a regional economic development fund, 50% goes into a fund. There's a lot of things, there's a convoluted answer, of which Mark Carney basically, if you watch this wonderful clip of him talking and trying to explain it, he of course fudges it by saying it's a great thing for the area. We're gonna develop new businesses that's gonna be wonderful, we're gonna grow, we're gonna this, we're gonna do that. And oh, yeah, yeah, we're splitting the revenue with the United States. Meanwhile, we still foot the bill. He lied to Canadians. His party lied to you on really what's going on. I mean, come on. Toll revenue after debt was paid back was the promise. Now, half the bridge will be will be half the bridge revenue is gonna be split before the payback. So Canada foots the entire bill for the bridge, and we split the revenue with the United States. Interesting. And oh, by the way, reports from within the U.S. indicate that the owners of this alternative ambassador bridge of close proximity to the U.S. administration, included by making a $1 million donation to a Trump-aligned PAC political action committee.

So here's the question: Who is Mark Kearney working for? You for himself. You see, Mark Kearney is probably best to become the leader of the Democratic Party than he is to become the Prime Minister of Canada. What he's trying to do.

Kearney has spoken from both ends of his mouth numerous times. He's gonna negotiate a deal with Trump, then he says, I don't need a deal with Trump. He says we're taking we're gonna take Trump seriously, and then he doesn't do it. We see it time and time again, the flip-flopping of what it was. I disagree with Trump, I agree with Trump. Okay, but notice one thing he could say whatever he wants, and not one media person is gonna call him out and saying he's a liar. Because you don't do that in Canada. Mark Carney knows that the CDC he's got in his pocket. Media houses who have been demanding funding because cables, cable channels are getting all this money, but the CTVs, the globals of this world of CTV, City TV, and Canada, they want also money from the government. So in exchange for money, you keep your mouth shut about Mark Kearney, no matter what he does. Oh yes, they're allowed to ask a little bit of a tough question. They're allowed to poke Mark Kearney a little bit to show that they're not that biased. But where's the outcry for his resignation for lying to Canadians? Where is his where's the cry to to scream, you know, at Minister Leblanc, Dominique Leblanc, for helping to push the lie? Where are we in Canada? I'll tell you where we are. Screwed. Because Canadians are still struggling. Yes, Mr. Kearney has signed these wonderful deals, and yes, there are businesses that are thriving on it, but small to mid-sized businesses are not feeling it just yet.

Kearney, if he believes in trickle-down economics, where first we have we have to fill up the pockets and line the pockets of his buddies and rich companies, sound familiar. Then maybe it trickles down to you and me, Mr. Small Business or Mrs. Small Business Owner. It doesn't matter. Mark Carney doesn't really care about the small money. He knows you're going to vote liberal, but as long as he aligns the pockets of his big friends and buddies, he's all good. Sound familiar? When the stock market goes down and then goes up like a rocket ship, what do people do? Trump's friends made money. What do you think Carney's friends are doing right now? What do you think it's happening here? Yeah, Mark Carney negotiated a pipeline and he's trying to make Alberta and DC happy. But where is it? Where is like it's again promises? There's no plan. And it continues to be like that. The Liberal Party has to have the feet put to the fire. Enough already of these empty promises and you know, and insulting Canadian voters and insulting Canadians to the point where you're just too stupid. I'm smarter than you. I know what's best for Canada, just shut up. That's a corporate CEO talk. The Prime Minister of Canada is elected duly by the citizens of Canada. The Canadian people population deserve better. They don't deserve a Prime Minister like McMark Kearney who just fills, he just helps himself. Take a look at Brookfield, how well it's doing versus the Canadian economy. Power Plays And Trade Barriers

president? Congress, senators, they all prospered in their roles. And just recently they voted out all that kind of stuff. You don't think Mark Carney is lining his pockets over there in Brookfield? Of course he is. And yet, as Canadians, we're kind of like turning a blind eye. It's not in our face, so therefore we're not going to do anything. And that's thanks to your media friends. And when you actually do call them out, they run in line in step, no matter what the policy is. The liberals are together, similar to the Democrats. No, there's no dissension here. Whatever Mark Kearney says, we do. We agree with, even if he lied. No explanations needed, just smoke in mirrors to divert your attention to something else. The conservatives may, you know, will be in opposition now for another couple more years, and we'll only be able to yell and scream about what's right and what's wrong in this country, as will the Bloc Québécois and the little whatever left of the NDP in the green. But the reality is that the conservatives are bringing up the day-to-day stuff that you've been crying about. You voted in the liberals and you've allowed people to cross the floor to make them give them a majority. And now with by-elections happening in Canada, he wants a bigger majority to ensure that he's even more solid. He only called a handful to make sure that he's got the seats. And then after the Quebec election in October, he'll call another set of by-elections to reinforce his position. Because when the Parti Québécois is in power, the liberals tend to be in power in Ottawa. It's a win-win for Mark Kearney. It's a power play. And he's been playing with you, the voter. The votes, your votes are going to be based on those ads that he's been running. We've made Canada better. And people have said it. We feel it. How? Well, gas prices are not Kearney's fault. That's Trump's fault. No, that is Carney's fault. That's your premier's fault because they've allowed the gas taxes to remain. Premier in Canada and of the 13 premiers of the territories in the provinces got together. Where is the dropping of the trade barriers between provinces? It's more expensive to trade in Canada than it is in the United States. So what has he done to fix the problem? Where's the negotiation to drop the trade barriers between provinces? It ain't there. That's what he promised you. A conservative policy, by the way, that Pierre Poiliev brought up back in the last election. What a novel idea. Let's break down the barriers within Canada to prosper more. No, no, no, no. We can't, because then the alcohol commissions, the liquor boards, and all that can't prosper if we drop the barrier. So that's not a good idea. Again, short-mindedness. And that is what Mark Kearney is allowed. He creates this illusion that he's working for Canadians to make things better. Well, all in all, nothing has changed. He still have the trade barriers. There's still a trade tariff threat. That he's what has he done about it? He promised nothing's been done. And soon in a few weeks, the possibility of those tariffs going into play are real. And yeah, Donald Trump doesn't forget about Canada. And yes, he's got this big massive excitement to try to screw Canada. And he did. When he said that Mark Carney would be an easier negotiator, you all bought into the bullshit. Those of you who voted liberal bought into the bullshit. That Mark Kearney was going to be better for Canada. No. Trump realized that Kearney would have been easier for the United States. Olive would not have been. And as a result, you listened. You had to that your anti-Trump mindset puts you in that position to vote for Kearney again. The liberals in power

The Canadian Dream And Closing

Stop being duped. Stop it. Time to challenge him. Why aren't price why are homing home prices still going up? Because you didn't build enough homes. Because you still created that bureaucracy. Where's the made in Canada policy you promised that hasn't really come through? That you're going to help companies. We're going to buy more through the tenders, we're going to buy more product from in Canada. Not there. Mark Kearney has been playing you wonderfully. His jet set life, being at all the World Cup games with his wife, and being excited to be there at the World Cup final to give trophies. He's living the life of Riley. At your expense, ladies and gentlemen. Your taxpayers' dollar, your hard-earned money that's going more and more to their his pocket and his party's pocket and less in yours. What happened to the Canadian dream? What happened to the Canadian the beauty of being Canadian? Work hard, have a good living, thrive. I wonder if Mark Carney gives a shit about you.
