Summer Talk And Host Handoff

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Welcome to, I'm gonna fix our screen here, but I want to go ahead and do this. So welcome to the Artiburn Radio Transmission. I am your host today, filling in for the wisest of all wolves, Tony Artiburn. And with me today, I have my co-host, Billy Ray Valentine. Thank you so much for being here. And we are going out live to WWCR Worldwide Christian Radio, YouTube and Rumble. Today's date is Thursday, July 30th, 2026. My my how time flies. How are you doing today, Billy?

SPEAKER_01

July's over. And um that means I have one more month of summer vacation. And I want to cry because it's going by so quickly. I mean, I'm enjoying every minute of it, but damn it. You know, it goes by so fast. Uh yes. There's that. But I'm happy to be here with you, Ashley. What's going on?

SPEAKER_02

So uh, well, first of all, your summer vacation is kind of a little bit of a vacation, but it just means, you know, that you're working one job instead of two.

SPEAKER_01

Yes. Every day I have a little bit of time. But I'm I'm trying to, it took about a month for me to get used to that. I was really, really upset about it. I'm like, damn it, I have to do this and that, so I can't do anything that I want to do. But now I've I've settled into the role and I'm like, okay, I get to sleep in a little bit. And then which is right. So that's always good. I'm happy about that. But you know, hey, it is what it is.

SPEAKER_02

It is. So to kick us off, I have I want to tie in the warrior poet theme here today,

Saddam Hussein The Poet

SPEAKER_02

Billy. And I think that I have a little bit of a tie-in. I'm I'm feeling very happy with myself about this. So let me read you this poem, and we're gonna talk about who wrote this and why it's topical in a way again. The night is defeated at the end of life, the stars are getting lost, and the dawn is of joy with you. My heart has risen after winning his dream. Comfort is settling, and hardship has gone away. My soul has flourished, and his flower has matured, and God has blessed us for the remainder of our lives. So I told you that I wanted to kick it off with a poem, and uh the person who wrote that poem was Saddam Hussein.

SPEAKER_01

Wow.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. So that is it, that is uh in the book, The Prisoner in His Palace, which is about the group of Americans that were that were tasked with guarding Saddam Hussein in his last, you know, his last weeks, months, and days. And kind of really bringing out the contradiction of of Saddam Hussein and what we had been told about him, and then the relationships actually that he built with American soldiers. And um, you know, it's only one book, and I probably need to go back and just double check and see if any of this is contested, but it's very interesting so far because of the relationship that they built with this very complicated person. So I had been looking into that over the last couple of weeks and planning on doing my own episode covering this topic.

SPEAKER_03

Right.

SPEAKER_02

But then earlier this week, I was um because I I try to keep track of the people that are covering the whatever is happening in the Middle East and it's ever changing. And we've talked about this on America Unplugged that it is sort of this boiling pot that appears to be heating up at this time, but we're we're constantly getting mixed messages. Well, just this week in an article from Anti-War discusses that. So I'm going to try to bring that up on our

U.S. And Saudi Bomb Iraq

SPEAKER_02

screen. Here we go. So this is an article from antiwar.com, and it is from Dave DeCamp. And it says the U.S. and Saudi Arabia launched major airstrikes in Iraq overnight, targeting the popular mobilization forces, a coalition of mostly Shia militias formed in 2014 to fight ISIS. And this was put out yesterday, July 29th, 2026. And it says the U.S. Saudi strikes targeted PMF facilities in Baghdad and five Iraqi provinces, killing at least 20 PMF fighters, according to the group. President Trump claimed the attacks were coordinated with the Iraqi government, but Baghdad strongly condemned the strikes, with Iraq's National Security Council saying that they resulted in a group of innocent martyrs and wounded. So that's, I'm not gonna read the entire article, but I just wanted to put that on our radar. That first of all, we have the United States collaborating with Saudi Arabia to once again begin bombing Iraq. And we do know that in the absence of a very strong leader such as Saddam Hussein, that there has been a weakened centralized government, um, good, bad, and different, whatever that is, that has resulted in these um many years remaining. So the other factor here is supposedly because these militia forces have been involved with bombing in Saudi Arabia. So we've had more oil fields be bombed this past week. We saw the price of oil go up to, I believe it was a hundred or over a hundred dollars a barrel, which is significant in today's day and time. So it is just kind of a continuing boiling, as we've been talking about over many months now. But this was a new, a new introduction. And shame on me, it was not in my on my radar that Iraq would be once again pulled into this um situation after we invaded in was it uh '92, '93, and then of course, again after 9-11.

One Spark From Wider War

SPEAKER_02

What are your thoughts, Philly?

SPEAKER_01

It's uh, it's everybody's involved at this point. It's uh one spark away from a world war. It really is. It really is. Uh, Ukraine. I read a report that Ukraine also bombed Iran in the Caspian Sea, right? Uh, in order to uh I forget what what exactly the reason was for it, but I know that Russia is actively involved in giving supplies and weapons to Iran. China's also involved in that. You know, so it's like everything nobody's safe. Saudi Arabia, Iran, uh all this is is like a powder keg waiting to explode. So no, I didn't see it coming, and and I haven't been actively following as much as I should be, uh you know, because I got I got some stuff going on, but but uh but I have been keeping up. So I didn't know that this was going to happen by any stretch. And when I read that headline, I was like, well, well, what what's going on here? And apparently there's some Iranian-backed militias inside of Iraq that that that they're bombing, but um this is uh uh uh a manifestation of of the disaster that is the Trump administration. It's the only reason we're in this, guys. We can we can blame Iran, I mean um uh Israel, and and sure, they they have they have a lot of uh there's a lot of blame to go around, but uh Trump could have opted to go in a different direction. You know, uh um Biden opted to go in a different direction, or otherwise we would have been involved in something like this uh under under his four years, and that didn't happen. He went in a different direction. Now Trump decided to do this, and now there are Iran bombed some American sites, and now uh this morning the United States is bombing uh Iran again, you know. So it's it's this is not there doesn't look to be any end in sight, and uh there's no plan. At least uh none that I've seen. And that doesn't surprise me at all because we got incompetent imbeciles running all of this. You know, um I'm looking at at Pete Hagsath, the the most incompetent piece of crap on the planet, like and and of course, uh only second to his boss, you know. Um, so it looks like there's no end in sight, and that's very, very scary. Somebody is going to have to swallow their pride. And and when has Trump ever swallowed his pride? Even though he could just lie about it and say, hey, we won, he lies about everything else. So just say, hey, hey, we won and pull out of it, and everybody knows he's lying, but he whatever, you know, he gets whatever verbal victory, moral victory in the eyes of his cult, you know, uh, and that'll be over. But it doesn't look like that's the case. So it's it's a it's a very scary situation. I was surprised to see Iraq being pulled into it, but that's probably because I I wasn't super aware of of uh all the moving pieces here, right? Anybody that's been following it probably deeply could see that that that was coming at some point. But uh, but here it is, so not a good thing.

SPEAKER_02

No, it's definitely not good. And we have it, like you said, we we're one spark away from a major conflict because you're right. The um, as far as Iran goes, China and Russia have sort of, even though they they also, especially as far as I know, do have connections and a an okay relationship with the nation state of Israel, but they have sort of been pulled in as allies and support, and that's kind of how they've been set up, is that they are supporting or helping or at least allied to an extent with Iran. And then uh we do have other things that are happening. So, of course, Israel continues to bomb Lebanon, they continue to bomb uh Gaza. I mean, these things were supposed to be winding down, or they've been told to wind them down and have refused to do so. And then we have Saudi Arabia and Yemen, the the Houthi rebels. So that is also kind of boiling up. And one of the the things that is having real-world effects is the cost of crude oil. And because of the oil fields and uh the places in Saudi Arabia that have been bombed, and we did see those rising oil costs, though, we did have a comment that said uh that it the crude is 83-ish today. So it definitely came down from from earlier in the week. However, it's just sort of this amalgamation of all of these regions. And like you said, Ukraine is becoming involved in the Iran conflict. We also have a lot of other narratives out there that I find to be, uh, as you said, not only is this entire thing avoidable and very scary, we do have some analysts, and I'm not saying that we necessarily trust them or that they don't have their own alliances and agendas, but they are saying that um there's a potential that Iran maybe actually does have a nuke, and we have the United States saying that they definitely definitely do not have a nuke, their nuclear capability has been totally destroyed. Then we have this horrifying rhetoric coming from Donald Trump that he's going to obliterate the civilization, and then he's like hot and cold and hot and cold. And that's what we've talked about this before. It's like something out of Wayne's world when they're playing street hockey. Game on, you know, I mean, it's it's really like that constantly. And I think part of that is market manipulation, but I also there's a lot I don't understand because I agree with you. Why don't you just admit and spin it how you want to that you won and let's move on from this thing? But people are saying and analysts are saying that they're, you know, that obviously the Israel lobby and lead figures of that, such as Miriam Adelson, are very important in guiding his decision making, and that they are fully in supportive uh or fully in support of the actions of the United States right now. And basically, whatever the leadership, whether that's Benjamin Netanyahu or someone else, what they are trying to accomplish in the Middle East. So they say that that is a factor, the Israel lobby and these huge donors that are pro-war. And then we do have a lot of uh these sycophants in the administration, and we had these neocon warmongers such as Lindsey Graham. I mean, he's passed, but we also have Mike Huckabee, who is our um what is the word I'm looking for, ambassador to Israel. And these people are they appear to be very Israel first. So I agree with you, it's not a hundred percent on them, but there's just so many factors that are contributing to where we're at. And then, of course, you do have people that very much agree with you, Billy, that the president is a malignant narcissist, and that is one of the reasons that he refuses to admit that we've lost this war. And then another factor that I have heard throughout this entire time is that the United States is running low on weaponry, specifically missiles, and that we have these conflicting kind of ideologies from people in the military who are making

Running Low On Missiles

SPEAKER_02

these decisions. So some people prefer to continue doing what we're doing, and then some people prefer like a very quick offensive in order to try to preserve what missiles we have left. Now, I cannot verify that. I don't know, but I find all of these different kinds of threads and stories very interesting. And if it does get to the point that the United States is now unable to defend itself in case something were to happen because we have expended all of our missile munitions overseas, what does that mean for us?

SPEAKER_01

Man, you know, this makes us look so bad. Just uh from the perspective of the regular American citizen, you know, um a civilian, right? Uh run of the mill day to day, just looking at the situation. It's like, what do you mean we don't have enough weapons? Like, what do you like, you know, it's we've been given a narrative, and I don't even know if this is freaking true, okay, but this is what's been put out there. You know, so I'm like, all right, we don't we don't have enough weapons. And I'm like, good, you know, I hope that's not true. You know, given the amount of money we spend on defense, you would think right that that that uh the most powerful quote unquote um military in the history of the world uh could handle this situation fairly quickly and easily. Apparently that's not the case, right? So it's it's exposed us, even if it's if even if it's incompetence on behalf of the people that are running the show right now, it's still exposed us to the rest of the world. There we used to carry, and I'm not saying this is a good thing, but the United States used to carry a big stick, you know, and everybody's like, oh, you know, and and I'm I'm not cosigning that, I'm just stating what I have observed throughout my life. Now there's no stick, and we're walking around naked at that, you know, and it's like, what the hell? So that is all over the mainstream. They're talking about that they don't have enough of whatever the hell weapon to be able to keep up with this, and I'm like, how is this possible? Right? And then how do you enter a war? Right, or create, start a war without having the proper ammunition, without having the proper quantities, without looking into exploring these things. Did anybody do an audit? Did anybody think of this before they went into this? Right? It's like, what is going on? Like, and and that goes back to the gross incompetence of things. Then they're talking about that Iran, or and and I've heard that also. And it's pretty much coming from from uh, correct me if I'm wrong, but I've heard it from right-wing circles talking about Iran has a bomb. They have a nuclear bomb. Um, I I don't think that's true. If they did have a nuclear bomb, we'd be having a very different conversation, I think. Um because what they're saying is we're we're their whole argument is we're trying to prevent them from getting a nuclear bomb.

unknown

Right.

SPEAKER_01

And that's been the argument for 20, 30, 40 fucking years. I don't even know how long at this point, right? At least 20 years. Um I I I don't think they've they've gotten a nuclear bomb. And if they did get a nuclear bomb, which is not I I don't know how far or close they are to doing that, but even if they did get one, what would it change exactly? Right? Um, it would it would probably change uh the dominance that Israel has over that region because you know you couldn't mess with uh Iran as much, but but what would it really change? There are several countries throughout the world that have bombs. Pakistan has a bomb, India has a bomb, you know, Russia has it. You know, everybody has uh well, not everybody, but you know. So what what would it change at this point? They they control the Strait of Hermoose at this point, and that's something that they didn't do before. Not to the level that they do now. So they've already been graduated to what the mainstream is reporting as world power status. Super power. Iran is claiming this, right? So what what's this bomb going to change? This seems to me to be something more than this. It's about uh Israeli dominance, in my opinion, of that area. You know, and when I th when I talk about that, I'm not talking about the Israeli people, I'm talking about the the the maniacs like like Benjamin Netanyahu that run, and we have our own maniacs here in the United States. I think that goes without saying. Um the the people is a very different situation. It's it's the idiots that are in power. And uh we've been exposed here in the United States. Uh for all the crap that Donald Trump would talk leading up to the 2024 election about how we were the laughing stock of the world. It's really come to pass right now. Because we're getting our ass kicked by Iran. Maybe not militarily, but maybe so. Um, but definitely economically. It's a stranglehold that they have on us right now. I don't know how this is gonna end.

SPEAKER_02

No, I I absolutely agree with you, and that has certainly been part of the talking points is that we have created a new superpower. And I agree with that because that's what a lot of the analysts are saying uh on all sides, are basically like, well, we we had access here before, before you bombed them when they did nothing to you, and now we don't. And now you've created more pressure on already um fragile supply chain chains for the entire world, and so it is a huge concern. I agree with you. We have left ourselves vulnerable, whether that was incompetence or something else. The fact is that the messaging is being put out that we are now running low on munitions and on certain missiles. And then they talk about the the cost for building the missiles that they're running low on and the time. It's it's really super cost and time intensive, like millions of dollars per missile and a very long time. I don't remember the exact time frame that I heard about that, uh, for how long it takes. But it's a long time to create these. So what were they doing? What are they doing? You know, and I don't I don't think that we have the answer to that. Um, except for leaving the United States in a very vulnerable position and creating a new superpower and potentially kicking off World War III with all of this that's transpiring. And just to clarify, yes, the people that I heard talking about the potential for Iran to have a nuclear weapon originally was former CIA. And you know what they say? Once you're in the CIA, you're always in the CIA. Now I wouldn't know, but I'm just saying. So it's Larry Johnson, former CIA, and then his compadre uh in that milieu, um, Pepe Escobar. Okay. So they and they said, we are not saying that Iran does have it. We're saying that we heard from a reliable source that they do. So who knows? And I agree with you, to what extent would that even change unless that was true when they deployed it? But if the United States and Israel believed this, I would think that they would back off because it would give them more leverage and a huge potential to damage Israel because they're so close. So I don't know. And and I I do apologize if people are like, yeah, yeah, yeah, we know it, because it's it's like things are not changing that much every week. We have a lot of back and forth, but for me, I just think it's important to keep an eye on these minute changes that are occurring, because I do think that this is a powder keg that we're looking at here. And you know, just like what you said earlier.

SPEAKER_01

I think it's important. It's a it's an and things may not be changing. Um, but I think that's the problem. Things aren't changing, and there's they're supposed to be changing, as per the people in charge. Said that this was gonna be first off, they said they weren't gonna do this, then they do it, and then they say it's gonna be quick, and it's not quick. They said they're gonna open the Strait of Hermoose. It does not open ceasefire, no ceasefire. You know, it's just lies and no change, and lies and no change. That's all we're getting. And what is changing is it's escalate, it's escalating. Right. That's the problem here. You know, it keeps worse and worse and worse. And then there's buffoon in in the Pentagon. We we we don't have uh proper munitions, and then he's going to ask for how many trillion? I think it was one point 1.5 trillion dollars he asked for, or some nonsense.

SPEAKER_02

That's something insane. And that's the other question. What what are you doing? What are you doing? Where's it going? Where's it going exactly? Man, I could I could not agree more.

SPEAKER_01

You know how how it gets me when people bring up USA ID, you know, and all the conspiracy theories surrounding USA ID, and that's not to say that some things uh weren't weren't, you know, a little left, you know, that some things weren't questionable. But where's your check? We were all supposed to get a check, right? So if if they resolved all of these things and gathered up so much money, we were all supposed to get a check. Where's our check for from from the tariffs? Everybody was supposed to get a check. Where is it? Right, and and now the only people that we know that is that are getting money around here is is Pete Hexeth and the Pentagon getting millions and millions in ice, billions and trillions now, they're proposing. You know, that they're getting tons of freaking money. So where's it going? If we don't have the pro the proper munitions, I don't even know what that means, Ashley. Okay, I don't know what they're missing. I they're like, oh, we don't have enough of whatever to continue in this war. I'm like, what? Right. Like who you you what? So where's all this money going? What are you doing with it? Yeah, what are you doing? Uh uh there was a report a few months ago. Don't know if you remember, but there was, I don't know how, I don't know the exact number. So if it whether it was in the millions or the hundred millions or or the billions, I'm not sure. But um, there was a surplus of money that needed to be spent. And they took it, Pete Hags just took it and spent it on Apple computers and uh, you know, food. I mean, it was food for the troops at least, but damn it, it was a bunch of money that just got spent. You know, so where's all the rest of this money if you don't have uh the proper uh uh equipment to go to war against Iran, a nation that's not supposed to be on par with the United States when it comes to a military. This is incredibly embarrassing for me as an American. Uh it's uh you know, not only the military aspect of it, but uh the uh I want to say, for lack of a better lack of a better term, the public relation aspect of it, because people like hate us, you know, uh around the world. But not only do they hate us, now they don't respect us. You know, and and this has been going on for some time, don't get me wrong, but it's at its height right now. Donald Trump has has uh got a rocket ship and strapped it to the back of the disrespect of the United States. Right? And and this is where we are now, you know, and it's only gonna continue. This doofus needs to swallow his pride and and step out of this. I think this could be solved very easily now. You're gonna have to make some concessions to Iran that you didn't want to make, that you didn't we are in a in a worse position than we were at the beginning of this. It's just what it is. Thank you, Donald Trump. Thank you, MAGA. Benjamin Netanyahu's getting everything he wants. Benjamin Netanyahu was in the Oval Office and he said he had a productive meeting with Donald Trump, that it was the best. That's a bad thing. That is not a good thing. I'm sorry, go ahead, Ash.

SPEAKER_02

No, I agree with you 100%. And see, this is the other thing, too, is I even was kind of joking with one of my friends, and I said, Well, we're supposed to have a visit from BB Netanyahu, so who knows what's gonna happen after that? And it happens to coincide the same week that now Iraq is brought back into this milieu. Is it a coincidence? Well, I don't know, but I find it to be very exhausting. You know, this is in my entire lifetime, this has been the plague of the United States involvement in the Middle East, basically. And it goes, of course, for way further back than that. You know, we know about the uh meddling in um with in the coup that was happened or that was done in Iran, and we know about Iran Contra and all of these things. Like it's nothing new under the sun, truly, but it still is so old, and it didn't have to be this way. And another thing that, you know, people I have heard from some people that did vote for Trump the second time around, and the the semi-anti-war rhetoric that he was spouting was important to them. They wanted no new wars and they believed, based on at least his first administration, that there would not be new wars. Okay. So it even for people like that, it has been um, you know, a betrayal. And supposedly his uh what is the his poll numbers are absolutely destroyed. Or or whatever we're talking about. Now, I don't know which polls and what is the sample size, and I didn't, you know, I didn't audit the poll numbers, but I'm just saying that he's very unpopular right now, supposedly. And people are sick of endless wars, they're sick of the United States being essentially hand in hand whoever is the dominant party in that relationship with the nation state of Israel. And they're sick of Israel killing people in Gaza, they're sick of them killing people in Lebanon, and people are tired of that. And of course, the other real practical issue that we have here at home is the narrative that we have just been discussing about oh, well, we're running out of munitions, this type of thing, but also the actual standard of living for the regular person because gas has while fluctuated somewhat, gas has gone up ever since it basically day one when Iran was struck, gas started going up for the regular everyday person in the United States.

War Blowback At Home

SPEAKER_02

And these are people that are trying to provide for their family, they're trying to pay their bills and take care of their pets and their home and their all these things. And that's the part that bothers me the most. And even, and you and I have kind of talked about these conversations or uh these different policies, right? So, me coming at it from, you know, a liberty or an anarchist or constitutional perspective, whatever that means in today's day and time. But even if we still had a high burden of taxes, but I knew that American people were actually being helped, and we didn't have the huge amount of corruption and waste that we have, that like regular people were being helped with food and healthcare, and that we didn't have BlackRock buying up all the houses and things like that. Like I would be much happier because what I see is people struggling, and that is it really bothers me because it didn't have to be this way.

SPEAKER_01

Right. No, I I totally agree. And you hit on you hit on something earlier. Um you talked about uh Trump's approval rating. It's a 34%. I I I'm trying to find out who the hell those 34% are. Like, who are these people? You know, who are these people? Like it should be in the 20s. It should have been in the 20s the moment he he got elected, in my opinion. I was like, because it was in the I mean, if I remember correctly, it was definitely in the 40s. I don't know if it was in the low 50s, might have been in the beginning, in the very beginning, but it was definitely in the 40s. And then when it dropped to like 38, they were like, this is low. I'm like, no, no, I'm like, that's too high. 34 is a little more like it. It should be in the 20s, it should be 28, 27. I mean, there should be no support for this sort of shit. But but you know, who who are the 34% of Americans that think this is good? Who are these people? And and I I always refer back to the deliberate dumbing down of America by uh Charlotte Israbi, right? And they talked about it, but all not all of us, but a lot of us missed the point. We're here now. We are here. This is what the deliberate dumbing, the deliberate dumbing down of America has produced. That in um that uh 34% of Americans still back this ridiculousness, in spite of how apparent it is, how apparently bad it is, you know, how how easily uh taken apart this is, they still support it. You know, so the kudos to Charlotte Israel being and skull and bones on that aspect of it, you know, but uh, but yeah, like I mean, and it's it still baffles me. I I want to see it drop in the 20s just for my own personal um satisfaction. But I'm like, who are these people? You know, and I understand there's a cult, uh right. And then there were a lot of people that were brought in that have distanced themselves from the Trump brand, not necessarily from the MAGA state of mind, but from Trump. They're like, no, we don't want to deal with Trump because Trump didn't deliver what he said he was going to deliver, right? But um, but there's still this core group of people. I just didn't know it was 34% of them. You know, and and like you said, I don't know who's polling what there's several different polls that come up with different things, but there's a consensus. It's around the low 30s right now. Yeah, you know, that that that's what it is. And there's a reason for that. And I'm glad people have have seen it. It it took a lot, it took 10 years, but I'm glad, I'm glad people are into it at this

Does Voting Matter At All

SPEAKER_01

point. What's this? Do you really believe in the polls? Um, this is T C C T Y to Y. What does that mean? Explain that to me so I can so I can properly talk about you too, you um, sir or madam. I'm not sure. You don't believe in in voting either. You put up that, you know, um voting is a charade. And I can understand that. I can totally understand where you're coming from with that. I spent the majority of my life under that frame of mind, thinking that voting uh wouldn't change anything. And you're not totally wrong. You know, uh, it's it's it's a hard situation, but abstaining is definitely not gonna change anything at this point. In in my in my opinion, it's it's only delivered as Donald Trump. You know, so uh I believe there is a lesser of two evil of two evils. I believe in polling to a degree I don't think it's accurate 100% all the time. But um it gives you a ballpark of where people of what people are thinking, and and sure they could be wrong. This they're humans that are doing things, but but uh but yeah, so I I I subscribe to to some of these things, and I I understand that the majority, I don't know, I don't want to say the majority, but a lot of people that uh listen to alt media are completely disassociated with uh processes within the machine, right? They don't they don't want to have anything to do with it, and I totally get it. I I can't knock you for it. I totally understand. I don't want to give my vote to anyone that's bombing uh Palestine. And that's everyone in fucking power. So where do you go, right? Um, but but I I came to the to a realization that abstaining is is only um adding fuel to the fire. It's uh it's it's only promoting the problem. Uh we have to be strategic about it. It's just a different route because I feel like the route that we we've been taking isn't working. And the the the proof that it isn't working is that we are still here talking about the same things and what's going on around the world. What change have we actually enacted? You understand? So so I think we need to take a different approach. That's all. Go ahead, Ashley.

SPEAKER_02

Well, I did want to, you know, I have been, especially ever since I was like, I'm a voluntarist, I'm not getting involved with voting nonsense. I don't believe in that. Um, you know, I don't care if someone votes, but I was like, I don't think it matters. However, I did actually register to vote. Now, I think that in some cases on a local level, we can make a difference. And I want to talk about two specific

Local Wins Against Bad Projects

SPEAKER_02

examples. So um, speaking of, one of them is our friend Bronck Stomper. And he did say that uh you had mentioned that he wasn't what you expected, and he said what he's curious what you did expect. But he talked about on my show that he is actually kind of getting involved in his local government, right?

SPEAKER_01

Let's go, Bronk Stomper. Let's go, baby.

SPEAKER_02

He said that I mean, and he's kind of in the same headspace, but he's trying to preserve what he can. He's trying to do what he can and educate where he can, right? And he actually did say, because I've been having a question about has any person in Congress ever done anything tangible? And I'm not being hyperbolic here, that actually helped us. But in my conversation with Bronk, he said, yes, that uh Thomas Massey had the Prime Act. And let me know if I'm saying that wrong, Bronck, but that that was part of making the food supply chains for people better and easier and reducing some of those regulations, and that he is becoming, you know, like I said, a little bit more involved. So that's one example, and that is somebody in our space who is trying to get involved. I know that Tony has been involved before and trying to make a difference. And the other thing that I want to say is that there are people in because North Carolina is on the radar as far as blowing up. Like people are moving here from all over. It's beautiful. It's the best state, in my opinion. Best state. You've never seen a better state, but uh, there's a lot to like here. And in some of that, you're having a clash with people who are financially benefiting from that versus people that live here already. So, and particularly in some of the rural areas. So there's a county nearby that is actively trying to put in a huge development of like 600 houses or something like that, which would be uh a huge injection of people into that community. And the people in that community are rallying together and they said no, and they are going to continue to say no. Not that they don't want any development or they don't want anyone, it's not a xenophobia thing. We don't want people coming here, but it said, or they are saying you need to respect the lifestyle of people in this area, meaning we don't want crammed in traffic any more than it is. We don't want a roundabout because I have a horse trailer and I drive a tractor. So I that does not work for me. Our schools are already at capacity. What is your plan? So there is no infrastructure, and yet the people on the um, on the builder side of that and the people that are selling the land, they have financial gain from this, of course. They're making money. But now the citizens of that county are actively stepping up and they're speaking to the people that are trying to build, and they're speaking to their uh county commissioners and telling them this is not how we want this done. So if we have a chance to prevent maybe an unwanted data center or maybe an unwanted development that's going to cram people into your area with no traffic and school and uh emergency services infrastructure, then this is how we can do that. So I'm not always saying that it's helpful. We have seen that NDAs have been signed in some local areas where they make deals with whoever's building a data center and they sneak it in. Okay, so that is happening, but we have also seen people be able to push back. Billy has talked about this, and um, in a nearby place, actually, many years ago, they wanted to build a Walmart super center. The people in that town did not want it. They banded together and they said no. So these things are possible at a local level, at the very least. And then, like we were talking about earlier, Bronx said that um Thomas Massey actually did contribute something to us in the Prime Act. So I know that it's a very imperfect system, but I think that we do have a chance, and this could be a way. If you don't want to be involved, I'm not criticizing you for that either. But I'm just saying, like there is still some good things that can be done when people are in agreement about whatever is transpiring. Um, you know, and and some people do try to make that better, and it does work sometimes.

SPEAKER_01

I think, I think that you hit on something that's very important, and all of us here in the alt media are guilty of this. We're looking for perfection, right? One thing that goes wrong, like, no, no, no, I'm done with this guy or whatever, I'm done with this woman or whatever. Like, I that it's it's all rigged, it's a process, you know. Like we're looking for some utopian style candidate that's never gonna happen, right? It's a very imperfect system, and that's what Ashley just said that prompted this in my mind. It's a very imperfect system. Um, but I'll tell you one other thing. Uh, it and and uh TC, I'm gonna get to you. TC from Connecticut. I'm gonna that's what I'm gonna call you from now on. Um uh Obamacare has made a gigantic change, uh uh a measurable, provable change in the lives of so many people. And I see it every single freaking day. And I and and and before before I knew, you know, uh what it entailed, it didn't really affect my life. So I didn't, you know, I didn't know what what impact that piece of legislation had until I got involved. And I'm like, oh my God. So yeah, things things can definitely be done, I'm sure. Um all this legislation that that's passed affects our lives in some way or another, whether we know it or not. Um, I I did vote for mom Donnie here in New York, and and I'm As of right now, I'm very happy with what he's been doing and what he's been saying. And uh, and I see the changes. Not only do I see the changes, but I see people here in New York happier. They're rally rallying around this guy for the most part. It's not everyone. You're gonna find the critics and he's going to mess up, he's going to do some things, but I did get involved in and vote for that. I will vote in lesser, I mean lower elections. You know what I mean? I'm gonna do that too. Um I'm I'm a registered independent, so I can't vote in primaries, you know. Umly other person I ever voted for was Ron Paul. Um I don't think I'd repeat something like that, you know, but uh um I'm I'm happy with my vote for Mom Donnie. Uh I didn't vote for Kamala Harris. I wasn't, I never voted for Ron Paul. I mean, for uh Donald Trump. But I didn't vote for Kamala Harris mostly because I was in New York. And I'm like, she's going to win New York anyway. And uh I'm not fully happy, uh especially not happy with uh, you know, her stance and and what she was responsible for along with Joe Biden, what they did to Palestine. So it was hard for me to do that, to to cast a vote in her direction. Um But if I was in Pennsylvania or a swing state like that, I would have voted for her. Uh and and uh I think it was TC that also said the lesser of two evils is still two evils. It's still evil, and that's true. Um but we are in a position where we have to make that choice. We we have to make that choice because otherwise a vote, uh, and a vote, um if you abstain from the process, you're only adding to the most evil. You're you're letting the most evil take over. And if we need, if if we if we're going to stand a chance at pushing back and making some serious change, we need to be strategic about it and vote for the ones that we stand a chance to push back on, or that relate to us a little more than the other person. Although you may disagree with the majority of what they say. It's a it's a very imperfect process. We got two parties to vote for, largely, right? So we have to make these choices. They're not easy choices, they're not good choices, but they are the choices we have. They are the cards we've been dealt, and we need to move forward in that in that direction. Now, I'm I'm very happy with mom Donnie. Um, I like AOC's politics here. They're politics for the people. So I don't understand the pushback from the people. We are the people, unless we got some billionaires watching and listening, which could be a thing, but they're the the major the minority of us. We are the people. We need to start looking out for one another because they're certainly not gonna look out for us. So we need to do it for one another, and uh we need to explore every avenue in order to get that done. So uh full transparency. I totally understand why people don't vote. Totally get it. I've only voted twice in my life, like I said, and and momdani was the only thing that motivated me to do it again. Um, so I totally understand. I totally understand people that say um I don't want to have anything to do with it. It doesn't change anything. I get it. I don't necessarily agree with it, but I get it. I understand it.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, so we have a comment here from Bronck that says, uh, we didn't get here overnight. If you do nothing, then they will continue doing what they want. You can't let the perfect be the enemy of good. A baby step in the right direction is still positive. And I don't disagree with that. And like I was just talking about, when when you're on a local level and you have builders that are trying to come in, like that one little example and cram people in, if you just say, oh, well, everybody, they're all exactly the same. And I'm not saying you're doing that, TC, I'm just saying that as an example, then then you miss having an opportunity to at the very least kick the can. And, you know, I definitely don't know about the federal level. I'm somebody who is like, uh, I think they're chosen by the powers that shouldn't be, but I'm just saying maybe there is a chance. And the other thing is like, if you're voting, you're voting for evil either way. And while I do understand that sentiment, I would also say, like, but but what is the line with that? Like, what is our Puritan test? Because I use the internet. Is that also run and managed? And I'm spied on by, you know, the NSA and the FBI. So does that mean that I shouldn't use the internet because I'm contributing to the powers that shouldn't be to the evil, to the people that are um, you know, that are doing whatever we're we're speaking about here, maybe, but then we're also not having this conversation. And we also use a cell phone. And we also like, you know, sometimes you know, maybe you have food that's made by an evil corporation, or maybe you maybe you use regular deodorant because you're not a natural deodorant person. Well, who makes that? Is it an evil company? Like, probably. Uh, what about Amazon? Have you ever bought something from Amazon? Like, do we think that Amazon is the good guys? No, you know, and and I'm not trying to be critical or rude or ugly or anything like that. I'm just saying, like, what is our line? And these people are all kind of intimately involved as far as big government and big business. So um I'm just trying to say that I do think that if someone wants to vote, then I don't see the harm in that personally. And I think that in these cases, like we're talking about with Bronck, and we're talking about with the local level, people pushing back on their uh town count or their town council or city council or county commissioners as far as what they want and what represents life in their area, I think that's a positive.

SPEAKER_01

Right. No, I I agree. And and let's let's look at these people, right? For most of most of MAGA's followers tell you that uh voting doesn't matter, but yet um uh Steve Bannon and Donald Trump keep telling you, well, not Donald Trump so much, but Steve Bannon is like, go vote, go vote, go vote, otherwise we're going to jail, you know. So maybe there's something to it. Um it's it's it's been a a long road, you know. Um, but uh, but I think that it was worth it, like for the clarity, you know, and and now I feel like I have a better understanding of how things work. That doesn't mean I understand anything, it's just a better understanding than I had before, you know, which isn't saying much.

SPEAKER_02

Right. Well, that's what we, you know, we live and we learn, and we try to get wiser and more informed and more grounded as we go, as we get older. Right. And that's why, you know, I've been talking about this quite a bit. The uh the benefit of hindsight. Hindsight is 2020, and not only for having a more clear picture of exactly what transpired, perhaps in a historical sense, but also for what we learned from that. How does that inform our analysis and thought patterns moving forward? Think, change, repeat, as some people say.

SPEAKER_01

Fantastic. Um, how much time do we have? We got like five minutes, Ash.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, we got a few minutes

Fauci Pleads The Fifth

SPEAKER_02

here. So the last thing that I want to bring up is the well, Fauci's back at it again. And I only looked at this because Billy brought it up, and independently, Tony brought it up as well. So I was like, okay, we'll talk about him. Um so I'm gonna play a little bit of a short here, and I think that it's probably everywhere, all over the place. We know what he did yesterday, and there have been some hilarious parodies from there was a Dave Chappelle skit. I'm guessing it was from the Chappelle show many years ago. I'm pleading the fifth. Yes, one, two, three, four, five, five. Yes, there's been a lot of parody about pleading the fifth in the uh Dave Chappelle manner. So we're just gonna watch this really quick and then we're gonna uh touch base on that before we get out of here for the day.

SPEAKER_00

During and after the COVID pandemic, I have appeared multiple times for hearings in the Senate and the House, usually under oath, and sat for several days-long transcribed sworn interviews, answering questions about the very issues that are now the subject of this hearing. However, given Senator Paul's obvious obsession with calling for my prosecution, his repeated slanderous comments about me, and recently his publicly releasing my unredacted personal diary aimed at embarrassing and intimidating me, the only conclusion I can reach is that the sole reason he is calling me before this committee is to get me to say something, anything that could vindicate his repeated public pledges that I end up in his words, quote, behind bars, unquote, any reasonable person who has followed his unhinged obsession with me would readily come to the same conclusion. Therefore, although it pains me to do so because of the respect I have for the legislative branch of government and my decades-long record of cooperating with Congress, under the advice of my attorneys, I will invoke my right under the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution to refrain from answering your questions. Thank you. Sounds about right, Ashley.

SPEAKER_02

It sounds about right. So when I was looking into that, it said that he pleaded the fifth over 70 times.

SPEAKER_01

100.

SPEAKER_02

Was it a hundred times?

SPEAKER_01

That's what they're reporting. I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, because I thought you were like 100 girl.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, 100.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I agree.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, about a hundred times they're reporting that he pleaded the fifth. Go ahead.

SPARS Parallels And Trust Collapse

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, so I think that um, well, one thing that Tony had brought up when I was just uh messaging with him a little bit about the covering this was the tie-in with the SPARS document. Now, uh as a reminder, and I I had a reminder of myself, I looked into this this morning. So SPARS was the 2017 Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security tabletop exercise, a fictional scenario, explicitly labeled as such, you conspiracy theorist, um, which is meant to help the public health communicators rehearse messaging dilemmas during a hypothetical 2025 to 2028 coronavirus pandemic. It's very coincidental. I will say that. It's not a leaked plan, it's a training document with made-up characters, fake tweets, and a fictional president. That said, it has become a touchstone in the COVID origin discourse, basically, which uh there have been many overlaps and similarities, and even to the point that a congressional hearings as the endpoint of a trust breakdown. So SPARS explicitly scripts congressional hearings emerging from public anger over uh MCM access. I don't know what that is standing for in this case, and transparency. That was chapter 15. The real hearing is literally that mechanism playing out, a Senate committee compelling testimony from informal channels or testimony because informal channels of trust have broken down. So that's one element. And then, of course, the other element is that the American people and the world still don't have answers. There has been a lot of obscuring of information, and this is coming from Anthony Fauci and his connections to Ralph Barrick. And something that also bothers me is that people call it the University of North Carolina. It is the University of North Carolina, but there are many universities in North Carolina. It is specifically the University of Chapel Hill. So just as an FYI, okay, and that school is obviously very prominent, not only for basketball, but because of the connections with Ralph Barrick and then the cover-up that has been done in order to obfuscate uh the truth and information from the rest of us for figuring out exactly what they were up to. Thoughts, Billy.

SPEAKER_01

Well, this is complicated. Um I have thoughts on it. Uh and people accuse me of beating a horse, but but I I think it it requires beating, especially when it's not being being brought up. Who was this guy's boss?

SPEAKER_02

100. See, in this case, I'm saying 100.

SPEAKER_01

100 girl. Who is this guy's boss? You know what I mean? Like, and and there's and they're they're berating him and and and get, you know, and freaking not that some of this shit isn't deserved, you know, but but they're really giving it to Anthony Fauci. Uh, uh, I would uh uh find uh a newfound respect for all these uh uh Republicans that that are are badgering Fauci if they did it to Donald Trump, but they don't. They let it go. They're looking for a scapegoat, they're looking for someone to blame, and they don't want to blame the person that's actually responsible. Should have known better, right? So here we got Anthony Fauci. And listen, I don't like the guy. I think I think he made some decisions or advised on some things that I would have gone a different way. Then again, I'm not a virologist. What the hell do I know? Right? But I would have opted against some of the things that he recommended. That uh diary that was actually him putting things in a government computer. Why would you do that? I like your personal stuff about how you met celebrities and all this other stuff, and I don't understand whatever. Um I I I think that they don't have anything on Anthony Fouch. He's not going to jail, but he's not going to jail because he first of he's pardoned. Let's remember that. So this might all be for sure. The reason why he he pled the fifth the entire time was he's pardoned up until the time that when Joe Biden pardoned him. After that, he's you know, they can prosecute him for anything that he's done after that point. At least that's the way I understand it. So they were trying to get him to slip up on something so they could prosecute him on something. So he just pled the fifth the entire time, you know. Um, but before that, they had nothing. They got nothing on Anthony Fauci. We can we can argue about the lab leak theory as opposed to the wet market theory and which is correct. We'll never know. We'll never know. And then they're like, well, Anthony Fauci was behind the scenes saying one thing, and then in front of the people saying another. Well, that was very early on during the pandemic, which was a novel virus. If you believe in viruses, I can't believe I even have to say that, but if if you believe in viruses, it was a novel thing, it was new, so they didn't know what was going on. So he said a couple of things in the beginning that he might have changed his mind on at the end. These are easily explained things, right? That you can explain away. Whether you agree with it or not is something else, but it's it's easily explained away. It's not proof of anything. He's not going to jail. He's not it's just not happening, you know. So we can come to different conclusions as to why that is, but I think we can all agree that this guy is not going to jail. So why are we doing this? We got no information. We we we don't know anything new about the process or anything new about the virus. Why are we doing this? It seemed to me that like it was all for show. Um, there was one dude, uh I don't know, I don't know, I don't know who he who the hell he is, but he he decided to curse. And I was like, use that same energy with Donald Trump, bro.

SPEAKER_02

You know, he was like, I'm sorry to interrupt. I went over just a bit over the hour. So if anybody from Worldwide Christian Radio is still with us, thank you so much for joining us today. And you can continue the conversation for the next couple of minutes over on YouTube and Rumble on the Artiburn Radio Transmission. Thank you all so much. I really appreciate you being here.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, okay. Hello, everybody over there.

SPEAKER_02

Um, yeah, I I agree in that he's being presented as a scapegoat. There is many people that are involved in whatever transpired, in lack of communication or misguided communication or lying or whatever you want to say to the American people, I personally do believe that it is a charade, a farce, nonsense, a distraction. Um, I don't, I agree with you. There, if you look at any of these types of conversations ever, has anybody ever really faced justice? No. And I want to tie in even something that was a well-documented event, which was that happened in the Vietnam War. That was the Mai Lai massacre. There was one person who was lower level in the operations that ended up being held accountable to an extent, meaning like he got probation and maybe a little bit of jail time. However, that was nothing compared to the slaughter that happened in My Lai. Okay. The other thing is that the My Lai massacre was presented to us as a rarity, as a novel event. And that is not what happened either. This was something part that was part of search and destroy, and it happened many times. All that to say that there is oftentimes someone who's presented to us as a scapegoat, and truly the group of people that were responsible, if there was intentional harm or just being held accountable for harm caused, it does not happen. And it will not happen in this case either, my opinion.

SPEAKER_01

Well, there you have it. Um,

Wrap Up And What To Watch

SPEAKER_01

let me just shout out the chat, the chat real quick, and then we're getting out of here just because I gotta go, Ashley. I would love to spend more time with you and talk, talk to all the people and continue to flesh out this uh this uh uh subject. I'm sure we're gonna touch on it on America Unplugged. Uh so uh tune into America Unplugged and and I I will probably do a show tomorrow night if I'm not at the movies because I'm gonna go see Spider-Man. Also, the Odyssey is fantastic. Go see the Odyssey. And to TC from Connecticut, go see the Odyssey. Uh because it plays into what we were talking about, uh as far as decisions that need to be made, you know, and uh and who is going to be affected by it. You know, no matter what we do, somebody's gonna be affected. So, you know, uh, even if we abstain, even if we say no, we're not, we're not doing this, that decision is going to hurt other people. So, I mean, uh, go go look at first off, the Odyssey is fantastic, so you're gonna have a great time, but but there's a lot of uh uh different different themes that are carried out throughout throughout the movie that that are worth exploring. So um thank you for being here, TC. Also, um Braun Stompers wanted to know what what idea I had of him. Was that the thing? I'm I'm not sure if I I really had an idea. I just wasn't expecting what I saw ultimately. I don't know, maybe uh I I don't know, like a boomer type thing for some reason. I I don't know why. There's no real real it's just whatever my mind decided that you were. So when I saw you, I'm like, oh, that's not what I expected. So that's all. Um Kenny Powers, uh I'm taking Cody Rhodes, Cody Lodge, uh, to win at SummerSlam. Um, and that's it. Everybody seems to love your bookshelf, Ashley. They're like, it's fantastic. You know, it it makes you smarter than I, for sure. Um, and you have some books in there. I don't have a bookshelf. I mean, I have one, but it's somewhere else.

SPEAKER_02

Well, really quick before we get out of here, I have to say that the I'm gonna call it bookshelf gate, okay? Kenny Powers knows what's going on. My bookshelves were bothering him because, first of all, they were the movers, they were were put in here facing the wrong way. One of them was upside down. My camera was crooked, it's been a whole thing. Oops. Get out of there. Sorry about that. Um, so can you still hear me?

SPEAKER_01

Of course.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, I don't know what I did with our layout. I'm having cat drama as usual. And um can you bring us back up? Oh, here we go. I got it. Sorry, sorry about that.

SPEAKER_03

I'm sorry. Go ahead.

SPEAKER_02

All that to say, the bookshelves, I had them facing me before, but with the move, this is where they're at right now. All my books are still in storage, so I'm working on it. I don't even know if I'm gonna keep the books, but that's but I did straighten things up just for Kenny Powers.

SPEAKER_01

Oh making requests specifically by Kenny, though. I don't know if anybody else would get that type of treatment. Um, all right. So let's get out of here. What's up to everybody in the chat? Everybody that that listened over at the radio show, which we are off the air now, so I don't know what I why I'm mentioning it. What's up if if there's anybody at Rumble? Anyone watching after the fact? Tony Arterburn, what's up? Thank you. I'm gonna turn it over to Ash. Take us home, man.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, perfect. So uh just thank you so much to Tony for the opportunity to be here today and host the show in his stead. And thank you so much, Billy, for your time, everybody that joined, and we had a pretty active chat on uh between YouTube and Rumble. So thanks everyone very much. I hope you have a wonderful day, and we'll look forward to seeing you later. Have a good one. Bye bye.
