Sergeant Grit Grinder's Suicide Squad: an 'alternative facts' story of World War II. Follow the adventures of Sergeant Grinder, America's greatest war hero - a true red-blooded, flag-hugging, freedom-loving, gun-toting, peace-loving patriot. A man so tough he can stare down bullets, and so stupid he never wonders why he's doing it in the first place. Together with his squad of intrepid military misfits, he makes life hell for the Nazis, and for anyone else who gets in his way - friend, foe or unsuspecting bystander.

“Sgt Grit Grinder’s Suicide Squad” was a legendary 1980s comic strip from Macquarie University’s student newspaper Arena. It was conceived and written by Ken Enderby and Greg Rickards; illustrated by Greg Rickards.
