Its almost unbelievable that the first attempt at an independent, decentralized cryptographic money would succeed. Maybe its because the first attempts did NOT succeed. In this episode we discuss pre-cursors to Bitcoin, including failed attempts, that all helped shape Bitcoin into the only successful attempt at creating money independent of state.
