region where Jezebel came from, they were known for trade, they were known for wealth, they were known for worship of Baal, and also Asherah, that's pagan idols, they used to worship them. 00:19:08.160 --> 00:19:28.400 Like I said, she was the daughter of Ethbal, and Ethbal was the king of that region, and so the king of of Sidon, Sidon area, marries his daughter, Jezebel, to the king of the northern kingdom of Israel. 00:19:29.359 --> 00:19:31.440 And his name was Ahab. 00:19:32.400 --> 00:19:47.200 And so you have Ahab, the king of the northern kingdom of Israel, and Jezebel, the 00:21:55.200 And uh, and therefore her influence starts to grow, and uh slowly she begins to suggest, beginning with Ahab and then the key leaders, and then growing across into institutions and
