Discover the transformative power of Solomonic wisdom through the remarkable story of King Solomon's judgment between two mothers claiming the same child. This age-old biblical account reveals three vital characteristics of uncommon wisdom that can revolutionise your approach to life's challenges.

First, we explore wisdom that serves everyone without discrimination. Solomon welcomed society's outcasts—two prostitutes—into his royal court, treating their case with the same gravity as any other matter. This inclusive approach mirrors God's heart in John 3:16 and challenges us to examine whether we extend our gifts and service to all people equally or selectively determine who "deserves" our attention.

The second hallmark of Solomon's wisdom was his capacity to listen attentively. Throughout the women's dispute, he gave both parties full space to express their claims without interruption. This patient, thorough listening stands in stark contrast to our modern tendency to interrupt others or formulate responses before they've finished speaking. Scripture warns that "to answer before listening is folly and shame" (Proverbs 18:13). If we aspire to wisdom, we must cultivate the lost art of attentive listening.

Finally, Solomon's wisdom delivered effective solutions. His ingenious test to determine the true mother wasn't merely clever—it conclusively resolved an impossible situation. True wisdom doesn't just analyse problems or engage in theoretical discussions; it provides practical pathways forward that bring clarity where confusion once reigned.

As we cultivate these qualities through humility and dependence on God, we position ourselves to experience breakthroughs in our relationships, careers, and personal development. Join us in pursuing this uncommon Solomonic wisdom that serves everyone, listens attentively, and delivers transformative solutions to life's most complex challenges.

Speaker 1:

I am happy you are here. I'm glad those who are following the service are with us and also the people in the pavilion. God bless you big time. This is a wonderful Sunday. It's a day the Lord has made. We shall do what we shall be glad and rejoice and be glad in it, hallelujah. So our reading comes from the book of 1 Samuel, 1 Kings. 1 Kings, chapter 3. 1 Kings, chapter three. 1 Kings, chapter three. From verse 16 up to verse 28. 1 Kings, chapter three. From verse 16 up to verse 28. It's a famous passage where Solomon makes a landmark ruling, a very famous ruling, out of a very difficult case. But he sorts it out. Now.

Speaker 1:

Two prostitutes came to the king and stood before him. One of them said pardon me, my lord, this woman and I live in the same house and I had a baby while she was there with me. The third day after my child was born, this woman also had a baby. We were alone. There was no one in the house but the two of us. During the night, this woman's son died because she lay on him. So he got up in the middle of the night and took my son from my side while I, your servant, was asleep, she put him by her breast and put her dead son by my breast and put her dead son by my breast. The next morning I got up to nurse my son and he was dead. But when I looked at him closely in the morning, in the morning light, I saw that it wasn't the son I had born. The other woman said no, the living one is my son, the dead one is yours. The living one is my son, the dead one is yours. But the first one insisted no, the dead one is yours, the living one is mine. And so they argued before the king. The king said this one says my son is alive and your son is dead, while that one says no, your son is dead and mine is alive. Then the king said bring me a sword. So they brought a sword for the king. He then gave an order, cut the living child in two and gave half to one and the other half to the other. The woman whose son was alive was deeply moved out of love for her son and said to the king Please, lord, give her the living baby, don't kill him. Then the other said Neither I nor you shall have him. Cut him in two. Then the king gave this ruling Give the living baby to the first woman, do not kill him. She is his mother.

Speaker 1:

When all Israel heard the verdict the king had given, they held the king in awe because they saw that he had wisdom from God to administer justice. This is the word of the Lord. Let's pray. Father in heaven, we celebrate your word again and that's why we are gathered today and, lord, we ask that, by your spirit, you would speak to us as we close this month of uncommon wisdom. Lord, speak to us. And as we prepare for the next month of uncommon wisdom, lord speak to us. And as we prepare for the next month of uncommon utterance. You are our God, you are our King and you have the freedom and the free way to have your way in this service. In Jesus' name, we pray and we all say Amen. We may have our seats.

Speaker 1:

Once again, let me congratulate those who were ratified. Yesterday. We had a members meeting. Yes, you can give a hand, just go ahead. Yes, I really congratulate them. There were many and we appreciate. I would like to see, by a show of hands, the ones who are here among those who were ratified yesterday. Let me just see a show of hands, the ones who are here among those who are ratified yesterday. Let me just see a show of hands we have downstairs, oh, right here, even Linda. Oh, okay, cool. Yes, kuleju Nashkuru Wengi Sana. Yes, Pastor Kiniti, I can see the ones who are ratified. Yes, even right there. And right there, right there. Thank you very much. Let's give another hand to the Lord. I appreciate the team. It was a large group 478. 73. 23. 423. Sorry, I have it here, yeah, 423. 399 resident members and virtual members 24. This is something really we need to thank God for. It's a big thing, such a big number becoming members of the church, and we pray that they'll have a good experience and that they'll all plug in to serve the Lord. We have the membership classes again starting in May. Yes, and there's a tent after this, this service, through this door. You can visit there and register your interest. Let me congratulate also like Deacon, you say you congratulated them, let me just support you the president of the Nairobi University Students Association, collins, congratulations, and also Brian, who was elected the other day. I know that Ramadana, who is a governor, is not here, but we thank God for you and as you take up those roles, may God's anointing rest on you. We appreciate the youth of this country. Let's give a hand to the Lord as we celebrate the young generation in Jesus' name. Thank you, god. Bless you big time.

Speaker 1:

Solomonic wisdom at work. I share three things Solomonic wisdom at work serving everyone you know that serves everyone. Solomonic wisdom at work listening attentively. And Solomonic wisdom at work delivering solutions. This wisdom serves everyone. This wisdom listens attentively and this wisdom delivers solutions. Starting with the first one, solomonic wisdom at work serves everyone.

Speaker 1:

In the text we just read in 1 Kings 3 and verse 16, let me just recap it by reading Now two prostitutes came to the king and stood before him. Let me repeat that verse Now two prostitutes came to the king and stood before him and this is wisdom's open door and stood before him, and this is wisdom's open door. Solomonic wisdom, as we see it in this text, is wisdom that serves without discrimination. In other words, it doesn't matter gender, it doesn't matter status, it doesn't matter the resources that someone has or doesn't have. This kind of wisdom directs us to open the door to everyone people of every nation, people of every background and create, allow them in our platforms. The king has allowed two prostitutes, who are supposed to be outcasts, to find their way to the platform in the courts of the king, and you know those places were very, very special.

Speaker 1:

But I thank God for wisdom that opens the gates for everyone without discrimination. That is the wisdom God exercised when he opened the gates to his throne and we just sang a song regarding the throne of God. That is the wisdom God exercised when he opened his throne room for you and me, commoners, ordinary people coming from the ashes, to be able to have access in his presence. And the wisdom I read in this text allows you to serve everyone without discrimination. In fact, that 1 Kings, chapter 3, verse 16,. If you remove the words 1 Kings and you replace with John, then you will have John 3 16. And I believe all of us know John 3 16. Why don't we read it together? For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. And also remember last year, when we talked about the open door, john 10, verse 9, where Jesus is saying I am the gate. I would like us to read it also as we refresh again the door concept. Why don't we read it again. I am the gate. Whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out and find pasture, a wisdom that does not discriminate.

Speaker 1:

In John chapter 13, jesus washes the disciples feet. They have come out from the fields, they have all gathered for a meal. Their feet are dusty, they are probably smelling, and Jesus, who is a great servant, finds an opportunity to serve in that context and he takes water to wash the feet of the disciples Remember, one of them is Judas but he washes the feet of everyone. Sometimes the wisdom that guides us, conventional wisdom or worldly wisdom leads us to brand certain groups of people and we determine our service will go up to here and not there. Those ones are included. These other ones are excluded. But Jesus, washing the disciples' feet, washed all of them. Let me just read from John, chapter 13. It was just before the Passover festival.

Speaker 1:

Jesus knew that the hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who are in the world, he loved them to the end. The evening meal was in progress and the devil had already prompted Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, to betray Jesus. Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power. Nobody could take his position away. Even serving as a slave was not going to change his status. So Jesus was secure in himself. He knew the father had put all things under his power and that he had come from God and was returning to God. That sentence is very powerful the identity and Jesus' appreciation of his own identity.

Speaker 1:

And sometimes we don't have a good self-estimate. We can delay or deny the service that we ought to give to the nations, and sometimes our doors to the next level are locked by a poor or low self-estimate. Or sometimes we think our position will be affected if we go serving somebody across the road. You know you're a CEO going to serve somebody across the road and sometimes we think that takes down our level. But looking at Jesus, it doesn't.

Speaker 1:

So he got up from the mill, took off his outer clothing and wrapped a towel around his waist. After that he poured water into a basin. This is Jesus, the King of kings and Lord of lords. He poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples' feet, drying them with a towel that was wrapped around him. He came to Simon Peter, who said to him Lord, are you going to wash my feet. Jesus replied. You do not realize now what I'm doing, but later you'll understand. Nor said Peter, you shall never wash my feet. Jesus answered. Unless I wash you, you have no part with me. Then, lord, simon Peter replied and this is the sanguine Peter, he was spontaneous in nature and he's the one who will talk when nobody else is talking, and he wants everything now. Now, simon Peter replied not just my feet, but my hands and my head as well. In other words, he's saying I want a shower.

Speaker 1:

Jesus answered those who have had a birth need only to wash their feet. I'm not too sure. Peter used to bathe, but Jesus is trying to streamline the matter here. They only need to have their feet. In other words, if you really, I will wash you if you haven't bathed, but if you have bathed, I'll just do what I'm doing washing people's feet. Their whole body is clean and you are clean, though not everyone, of course. That is Judas, for he knew who was going to betray him and that was why he said not everyone was clean. When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. Do you understand what I have done for you. He asked them. You call me teacher and Lord, and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet.

Speaker 1:

Pastor Ambrose, I wonder if we got into the exercise of washing feet, how many people would come to partake of that. And we, how about? We fill water in basins and then we say row one is how about, or is it cliff on that end? And say row two is Mombi. Mombi is sitting right there, and we come all the way you know, and this row here, pastor Regan and Alex Barton, sub Alex Barton, my English friend here, would take up the second row. I wonder how many would be volunteering very enthusiastically to say I will wash all the feet of these people. Probably what would happen is I would check who is on that row and first of all figure out, you know, are they friends or not friends? And I know we could be sitting on rows and somebody is owing another money, the same row, but you look like this and there's a guy owing you a lot of money and so if I made the offer, you probably would say a lot of money. And so if I made the offer you probably would say Pastor, I will wash the feet of everyone except that one there because they owe me a lot of money. Or when we went to the parking lot, the way we had parked our cars. We raffled feathers and they treated me so badly at the parking lot. Here I am going to jump those three because they belong to one car and members of that car messed me up last Sunday at the parking lot.

Speaker 1:

Let me say this kind of wisdom, solomonic wisdom, is an uncommon wisdom because it serves all, it extends a service to everyone and it is beautiful wisdom. So today, as we look at this wisdom at work, we are also praying that it would work in our homes, in our cities and also our nation. We need to position ourselves where we say Lord, with the gifts and talents and strengths and everything that you've given me, I will serve everyone and I will serve every person of every nation, of every language, of every background. I am available, lord, I'm going to serve everyone. And so Solomon prays for wisdom earlier in the same chapter.

Speaker 1:

Because he was a young man by the way, solomon is very young by the time he becomes king and he doesn't know how to lead the nation. And if you read the earlier verses in chapter 3, you will see he says God comes to him and says what do you want from me? What do I give you? And he says I want a discerning heart. And God is very happy that he didn't ask for money or anything else. He asks for a discerning heart. God gave him wisdom and also gave him a lot of wealth. He's a very young man, but there is wisdom in operation, there is wisdom at work inside him. It is wisdom which has come from God and the DNA of God's divine wisdom serves everyone, and that is a characteristic we see right here coming out of Solomon. And I wonder whether you serve everyone or you serve certain people, even in terms of your prayers. Do you pray for everyone or do you pray for some people? Some people are very difficult, but we need to serve them. This is the wisdom that is here.

Speaker 1:

Prostitutes were outcasts. They were laughed at, they were not brought into the inner circle, but Solomon serves them. So verse 6 tells us there are two prostitutes. They are standing in front of Solomon. God has opened the doors to his throne room. Hebrews, chapter 4. You will see that God has opened the doors to his throne room.

Speaker 1:

Hebrews, chapter 4,. You will see that God has opened the doors to his throne room chapter 4, from verse 14 to 16, and it is open to every man, every woman. Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, jesus, the son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess, for we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weakness or weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are, yet did not sin. Let us, then, approach God's throne of grace with confidence. Everyone, from every part of the world, approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that you may receive mercy and find grace to help in our time of need. Everyone here requires some form of being served. Let us open doors to serve one another.

Speaker 1:

In Mark, chapter 10, verse 45, the Bible says the son of man, jesus, for even the son of man, did not come to be served, but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many, and he served up to the end. We just come from the Easter season, and that is part of God's wisdom. Through the cross, the death, resurrection of Jesus Christ. God serves me and he serves me with his best. He doesn't hold anything back, and they are right there. But number two Solomonic wisdom at work listens attentively. This is wisdom's open ear Listens attentively. God has given us one mouth and two ears so that we can listen more and actually talk less.

Speaker 1:

In 1 Kings, chapter 3, from verse 17 to verse 22,. Let's see what the Bible records there from verse 17. One of them said pardon me, my Lord, this woman and I live in the same house and I had a baby while she was there with me in the same house, and I had a baby while she was there with me. The third day after my child was born, this woman also had a baby. We were alone. There was also no one in the house but the two of us. During the night, this woman's son died because she lay on him. So she got up in the middle of the night and took my son from my side while I was. While I, your servant, was asleep, she put him by her breast and put her dead son by my breast. The next morning I got up to nurse my son and he was dead. But when I looked at him closely in the morning light I saw that it wasn't the son I had born. Then verse 22. The other woman said no, the living one is my son, the dead one is yours. But the first one insisted no, the dead one is yours, the living one is mine. And so they argued before the king.

Speaker 1:

This kind of wisdom listens attentively and King Solomon gives them time. The two ladies in front of him allows the full argument, the full cycle of the argument, to flow, and he listens to this one and he listens to that one until they fully present their case. This is wisdom's open ear. I am encouraging us to listen to one another. Solomonic wisdom at work listens and listens attentively. We have a God who is a listener and he listens and listens. Even when you come to the prayer room, some people pray for six hours, others pray for one hour, others for three minutes. It doesn't matter the length of your prayer and you can imagine the prayers happening right now. There are prayers in Japan, there are prayers in South America, you know Uruguay, brazil. There's somebody praying right now, some of them in the middle of the night. There's somebody praying in the Middle East and there's somebody praying in Europe. But we have a God who is listening and he listens to every prayer, both short and long, even those prayers we call lightning prayers, when somebody is in a crisis, maybe an accident is about to happen, and somebody just says Jesus, you know, god is so attentive that they can hear Pastor Ambrose.

Speaker 1:

I've realized that if we listen and listen, we start hearing the extras, even here in this service. If you really listen, there are some sounds you'll start hearing. I love cricket sound, crickets. I know some people don't like crickets and they make some very interesting, nice. I like it that sound from crickets. But you will miss it if you don't really listen, especially where there are frogs also making their sounds and maybe airplanes are landing and there are all kinds of things happening. You may miss it. But if you really really listen, you will hear.

Speaker 1:

And let me say that God is in a listening position. He's on the throne. The king is on the throne and he has taken a listening position and you know we are his people around the throne and we are presenting our cases. Everybody is presenting their case. The good thing is that the king is listening. In 2nd Chronicles, chapter 7, verse 15,. 2nd Chronicles, chapter 7 and verse 15,. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. Our God is listening and our God is hearing. Oftentimes we pray as if God is not listening, but I want to remind us today that God is listening.

Speaker 1:

In Matthew, chapter 6, verse 5 to 7, sometimes, even when we come to the place of prayer, we miss the point and we treat God as if he's not listening. And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray, standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly, I tell you they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your father, who is unseen. Then your father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And then he taught them there is a prayer, the one we call the Lord's Prayer. Our God is listening. Do you know? God listens in such a way that even the desire of your heart, not just what you say, psalm 37, verse 4, psalm 37, verse 4, even that which is inside you, that is a desire you know, inside your heart, the Lord hears that because the Lord listened to the powers of the heart. Take delight in the Lord and he'll give you the desires of your heart, that which you are desiring. The Lord sees it and the Lord has noticed and the Lord is hearing. May I declare that God is coming through for somebody who has desired something in the name of Jesus Christ. And you don't have to be a prayer expert.

Speaker 1:

These two ladies had never done a rehearsal on how to behave in the presence of the king. They were prostitutes, they were outcasts, but because of God's grace and mercy they have been brought to the premier court, the premier space, where the highest level, where they can actually present their argument, you know, and the king allows them to be themselves, and the king allows them to operate just like me or just like you, and therefore your prayer is legitimate and it doesn't matter how it is placed. God loves us and God cares and he hears One time on Mount Carmel, 1 Kings 18, from verse 27. Mount Carmel, 1 Kings 18, from verse 27 to verse 29. There was Elijah and the prophets of Baal. Elijah is calm, he's composed because he knows his God hears prayer, but the other guys, it's like they are praying towards a ceiling. You know, like prayers are going nowhere. Let me just read.

Speaker 1:

At noon, elijah began to tell them shout louder. He said Surely he's a God. Perhaps he's in what he's in deep thought, or he is busy or traveling. Maybe he's doing what he's sleeping. Our God doesn't sleep, he doesn't slumber. Hallelujah, let's give a hand to the Lord. He doesn't sleep, he doesn't slumber and must be awakened. So they shouted louder and slashed themselves with swords and spears, as was their custom, until the blood flowed.

Speaker 1:

Midday passed and they continued their frantic prophesying until the time for the evening sacrifice. But there was no response. No one answered. No one paid attention. Then Elijah said to all the people come here to me. They came to him and he prepared the altar of the Lord, which had been torn down. Elijah took 12 stones, one for each. Of the tribes descended from Jacob, to whom the word of the Lord had come saying your name shall be Israel. With the stones, he built an altar in the name of the Lord and he dug a trench around it large enough to hold two seers of seed. Yes, let's keep going. The next verse he arranged the wood, cut the bull into pieces and laid it on the wood. Then he said to them fill the large jars with water, in other words, to make it that it is actually a miracle, and pour it on the offering and on the wood. Do it again, he said, and they did it again. Do it a third time. He ordered and they did it the third time. The water ran down around the altar and filled the trench.

Speaker 1:

At the time of sacrifice, I want somebody to say at the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and did what? Pray. Let's read that verse again. Let's read it together. At the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed Lord, the God of Abraham, isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I'm your servant and have done all these things at your command. Answer me, lord. Answer me so the people will know that you, lord, are God and that you are turning their hearts back again. Then what happened? The fire of the Lord fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, even the stones and the soil, and also did what? Licked the water in the trench. A big hand clap again to the Lord. This is our God. So your prayer is valid, your prayer is legitimate, you're in the presence of the Lord, the King, and he's listening.

Speaker 1:

King Solomon listened and I pray let us listen to one another In our own homes. Don't presume somebody else. Allow them to speak and finish what they are saying. There are some people who will not allow anyone you know to finish a sentence. They decide they know what you're about to say when you're just starting and they cut you off and they begin to speak, assuming they heard what you're about to say. When you're just starting and they cut you off and they begin to speak, assuming they heard what you say.

Speaker 1:

But today, pastor Ambrose, I dare say that kind of arrogance and pride is actually foolishness. It's not wisdom. Proverbs 18, verse 13. Proverbs 18, verse 13. What does it say? Proverbs 18, verse 13. To answer before listening is what that is? Folly and shame. So when you cut somebody short and you don't give them your ear and listen to that case fully, you're actually foolish. You're foolish because you don't have what they're about to say. But I thank God for the king. He listens to the whole argument and he doesn't presume anything. He doesn't cut them short. In the whole passage. He doesn't cut them short.

Speaker 1:

James 1.19 says be slow to speak and quick to hear. James 1.19. My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and quick to hear. James, chapter 1, verse 19. My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.

Speaker 1:

Many of the conflicts and problems we are having today is because someone presumed another, somebody assumed they knew what the other party wanted, but they never fully listened. And sometimes failure to listen comes out of prejudice, because you've already judged that person, you've already summarized them, you've already put them in a certain hole or a certain pigeonhole, you have determined their fate and therefore it doesn't matter what they say in your presence, it doesn't count. But thank God for this king who listens, and we have the king of kings and the Lord of lords who listens when you bring your petition. It is not hitting a ceiling. There is a God who is listening. And I'm here to remind us once again something we know that God is listening and when you pray, come just as you are, speak like you speak to a friend. When you're praying, Talk like you're talking to a friend, talk like you're talking to a friend, talk like you're talking to somebody, because God is there and just share it's like a conversation and talk to God, who is a friend, and God gives us all the time. He will listen for five days, even three days one day, and even for a short time. But finally, of course, solomonic wisdom at work delivers solutions. Not only does it open the doors and the gates for everyone to come, not only does it listen attentively, solomonic wisdom goes ahead and provides a solution.

Speaker 1:

In 1 Kings 3, verse 23 to verse 28,. From verse 23 1 Kings, chapter 3, from verse 23 to 28. We see how the king goes ahead in terms of providing the solution. The king said this one says my son is alive and your son is dead, while that one says no, your son is dead and mine is alive. Then the king said bring me a sword. So they brought a sword for the king. He then gave an order cut the living child into two and give half to one and half to the other.

Speaker 1:

The woman whose son was alive was deeply moved out of love for her son and said to the king Please, lord, give her the living baby, don't kill him. And these are exclamations. That means she was shouting. But the other said Neither I nor you shall have him. Cut him in two. Then the king gave this ruling Give the living baby to the first woman, do not kill him. She is his mother. Why don't we appreciate that ruling? It's his Solomonic wisdom.

Speaker 1:

When all Israel had the verdict the king had given, they hailed the king in awe because they saw that he had wisdom from God to administer justice. When your family sees the kind of wisdom that leads you to give advice and direction, they will hold you in awe. In fact, wisdom will elevate you. Wisdom will raise you in your community. Wisdom will raise you in your country and also around the world. The wisdom that comes from God. Solomon is a very young man but exuding wisdom, giving amazing wisdom and common wisdom, and because of this wisdom, everybody is actually amazed and somebody is going to be amazed because of your wisdom. My prayer today is that God will give us this kind of Solomonic wisdom. Did you know that through wisdom, nations will look for you? Isaiah 60, verse 3, says nations will come to your light and kings to the rising of your dawn. Isaiah 60 and verse 3. This wisdom is very magnetic. It is very attractive and a wise person is always sought.

Speaker 1:

I remember those days when I got married and it was Rosh Hashanah time. Pastor Ambrose, there's an uncle of mine and everyone me and the cousins we would always look for him when it was Rosh Hashanah time and we would never second guess it, because this Mzee was very, very wise and we knew that if he took us for a ratio ratio is also called koito In English it is dowry. Kwa kiswahili kupeleka mali Ama ni aje Kufanya aje mahari siyo mali Mahari sawa asante. This Mzee, we used to call him waimera. He was an uncle and I mean I respected him. He's now with the Lord and we would all pick him. We would never second guess. We just say this one.

Speaker 1:

And let me tell you, when you had Mzee Imera on your side going for a function like Kuito, you are a winner, because the guy had amazing wisdom and one feature I found, of course, is that he respected everyone. Secondly, he listened very keenly and thirdly, when he started speaking, every other argument came falling down. And let me tell you, with Mzee Emera, they will ask very little dowry, because the wisdom beats the other side, completely beats the other side, and we tend to have wisdom that is short of breakthrough because it does not provide the solution. It is like philosophy, it is just like good knowledge. It's like some good discussions, some form of high-sounding words, but a wisdom that is shunted, a wisdom devoid of breakthrough, a wisdom that cannot carry somebody to destination, it is not able to clear the story, it is not able to reach the zenith of wisdom whereby everybody looks and he says look at what that person has said. And because of what that person has said, every other story ends, because the solution is now on the table.

Speaker 1:

And Solomon, a young man and I thank God for young people because your season has come and God's spirit is upon you, young people you know, a young man is able to deliver a landmark, ruling A child, this lady saying it's mine, the other one saying it's mine. Then he says calmly, bring a sword, says let's cut this baby into two. You get that half, you get this other half. Now the woman, who's the real mother, carried by love, says no, we're not going to do that, simply hand over the baby to the other side. I'm surrendering, I want to surrender that baby to the other side. And sure enough, solomon knew the baby. The other one was saying let's divide the baby does not belong to this one, the baby belongs to this one.

Speaker 1:

And do you know, a solution comes that settles the matter forever. It is recorded in the bible. I just read the whole story solomonic wisdom, that solution recorded in the bible, you know. And this lady goes home with her baby. Justice is done. The one whose child was dead knew from the beginning the dead child is mine, that one knew that actually the dead child was actually theirs. And so justice is done. This one goes with their dead child, this one goes with their living child.

Speaker 1:

And I am praying that there will be such uncommon Solomonic wisdom in our homes that all those matters that have lingered and caused conflict and disagreements will be resolved in the split of a second, because a word will come and show up and something will be said within that family, within that home, within that village, that will resolve the matters and after that there will be peace and there will be complete calm. Today there is so much lack of peace because, pastor Ambrose, this uncommon wisdom we've preached this month has not been fully embraced. It's a wisdom that serves everyone without discrimination. It's a wisdom that listens attentively, it's a wisdom that delivers solutions, and I pray that in our own spaces this is the kind of wisdom we are asking. The spirit of wisdom is here. We are praying for him to come.

Speaker 1:

Isaiah 11, as I come to the time of prayer. Isaiah 11, verse 2 and 3, asking for the spirit of wisdom. The spirit of the Lord will rest on him, the spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the spirit of counsel and of might. The spirit of counsel and of might, the spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord, and he will delight in the fear of the Lord. We can pray today that this spirit of wisdom descends upon us, and we pray that in the month of May, which is the month of impartation of uncommon utterance, then our speech will be guided by this wisdom, because then wise speech is healing speech. It brings healing. You know. Wise speech brings salvation, it brings deliverance, it causes reconciliation. Wise speech gives guidance, it directs the paths of people. Wise speech is like light in a dark world and as we go into the next month, I am praying that we are going with the impartation of this Solomonic wisdom and that we shall allow it to work.

Speaker 1:

May wisdom build your house. Isaiah, proverbs 24, verse 3 to 6. Wisdom, may wisdom build your life, your career, your steps from here. May that be wisely determined when you step and you step and you step. May that be wisely determined, with uncommon wisdom. This is what the Bible says, proverbs 24, from verse 3 to 6. By wisdom a house is built and through understanding it is established. Through knowledge, its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures. Their wise prevail through great power and those who have knowledge master their strength.

Speaker 1:

Surely you need guidance to wage war, and victory is won through many advices. Now verse 6, I want us to read it loud enough together. It's a very important verse. Let's read it together. Surely you need guidance to wage war, and victory is won through many advices. I want us to make it first person, apply it to yourself. Let's go. Surely I need guidance to wage war, and my victory will be won through many advisors.

Speaker 1:

If you agree with this verse, let's give a hand to the Lord that counsel and that wisdom. Right there, we are going to pray. I'll ask us to stand now. Let's all be upstanding as we pray. We are simply asking for the spirit of wisdom to descend and I'm encouraging us to receive that spirit of wisdom so that as we leave this place, then we build our businesses, our families you know our endeavors in life with this uncommon wisdom that we have preached the whole of this month, the month of April, the fourth month of the year 2025.

Speaker 1:

So this is the hour of impartation. Prepare your heart, believe God, yes, determine that. I'm not living here without that kind of impartation. Solomon asked for it in 1 Kings, chapter 3. Solomon clearly says give me a heart of discernment. And God answers that prayer, that kind of prayer, immediately. Not only does God give Solomon a heart of discernment, in other words, wisdom, he also gives him great wealth.

Speaker 1:

I am praying today, as you receive an impartation of this uncommon wisdom, that God will also make you very wealthy. Is somebody connecting with me? Yes, I'm talking about wealth. God will make you very wealthy, wealth of heart, wealth of peace, wealth of joy, wealth of good health. You will be wealth of material things. I am speaking something to somebody that, as we pray for this uncommon impartation of common wisdom, it is tagged, just like Solomon, it is connected to wealth and because of this uncommon wisdom, you'll be sought after. Pastor Ambrose.

Speaker 1:

I'm seeing people rising through the month of May. I'm seeing a speed of elevation taking over and I'm seeing ceilings breaking in Jesus' name, in Jesus' name, yeah, and yokes breaking and God raising people to the next level and therefore, whatever has stopped us from moving to the next level as individuals, as groups, as a nation also, and Kenya needs Solomonic wisdom right now. Whatever is coming in our way, may it be broken now, in the name of Jesus Christ. And so this is a very important prayer Let us trust God for this uncommon wisdom. Let us trust God for wealth. Let us say, just like Solomon was blessed by the Lord in chapter 3, the whole chapter is a very interesting chapter. I am also aligning with the same and I'm receiving directly from the Lord.

Speaker 1:

Let's pray, father, in the name of Jesus, I want to thank you for Solomonic wisdom. I thank you for wisdom that serves everyone. And, God, I pray, as we leave this sanctuary, we shall walk in the dimension of this wisdom that does not discriminate and serves everyone. Lord, I pray that you give us that wisdom that listens and listens, and as we leave this sanctuary, we shall listen to our children. Children will listen to their parents, husbands will listen to wives, parents among communities will listen to each other. The Lord, in the forums we shall get to, we shall wait for the speaker to speak and finish, and that God, the listening dimension and action, impartation, that patience and humility that is exercised through listening my God, will be our portion and that, lord, this wisdom that you're imparting today will lead us all the way to solutions.

Speaker 1:

And that, father, there is not a matter that will be left halfway hanging and I pray that, if there is somebody who has a court case, that it shall be resolved in Jesus' name, in their favor. That is my prayer. Anybody with a court case, I decree and declare the Lord has taken over and God is seeing you through, the same way he saw through that lady whose child was alive in the court of King Solomon. So, my father, I thank you for this month, thank you for the uncommon wisdom that you have promised through this month, thank you for impartation, and time has come for us to receive and therefore, father, I'm asking you open the heavens and I ask us to lift our hands to God as a sense of faith and also expectation and also reception.

Speaker 1:

My God, thank you for the humility in the house. God opposes the proud, he gives grace to the humble. My God, you come through for your people as we look up to you, like we read earlier when Esau Deacon Esau was here, psalm 121. I look up to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth. Father, we are looking up to you, we are depending on you totally and right now, on our behalf, on behalf of our children, on behalf of our relatives, on behalf of our village, on behalf of our city, nairobi, it needs Solomonic wisdom. Father, on behalf of our village, on behalf of our city, nairobi, it needs Solomonic wisdom. Father, on behalf of our nation, kenya, on behalf of Africa and on behalf of the nations represented in this service or anyone who will follow this service later.

Speaker 1:

My God, we stand at the altar of uncommon wisdom and we have lifted our hands at this altar, god, we see you stretching your hand and, the same way, you answered Solomon's prayer and, god, you went to the results and reserves of wisdom and you made it his portion. Today is our day, the first Kings chapter three day. Lord, it is our day and, father, we ask that now. Release that wisdom. Release that wisdom, and we are here. We are receiving In your heart. In the quietness of your heart, you can pray on your behalf and behalf of others. You know other people who need this wisdom, even children In your heart. Pray other people who need this wisdom, even children In your heart.

Speaker 1:

Pray Lord, saying I receive. I receive this wisdom that comes direct, fresh. It is fresh from the baking ovens of God. It is fresh. You say I receive it and it is now my portion and the portion of the others, many others who come around me. I am praying and you can receive it also by praying even me. I'm praying that my family will receive an impartation of uncommon wisdom, this kind of wisdom Because relationships become better, businesses become better, neighborhoods become better, problems are solved everywhere, neighborhoods become better, problems are solved everywhere, left, right and center. Healing takes place, salvation takes place, deliverance takes place, hope comes back again. God, therefore, we are receiving and you say where you are at I receive this uncommon wisdom. It's an impartation moment.

Speaker 1:

So, spirit of wisdom, I pray now descend upon your people. May you release knowledge, may you release understanding and, just like Jesus said in John, chapter 16, lead us into all truth. May you receive guidance and also direction through the spirit of understanding. Spirit of God rest on me. Spirit of God rest on me again. Spirit of God rest on me, my God. I know as your people live this sanctuary. We are going into spaces where this wisdom will be needed and because, lord, we shall exercise this wisdom through this impartation, we shall be acknowledged, we shall be recognized, solutions will happen, we shall be sought after, we shall rise from level to level, just like Solomon. Because of this wisdom, it is now our portion and, god, we really, really thank you for this wisdom we have received and therefore, you can even voice it now loudly and you say Heavenly Father, you can say it. Let's say it louder. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for imparting and common wisdom in my life. It is my portion and the devil can do nothing about it. In Jesus' name, let's give a hand clap to Jesus. God is good, our God is good. Hallelujah, that is done. That is done. I want to release a blessing as I do so.

Speaker 1:

I went to South Africa Easter season and I went there to preside over a blessing service of a marriage in Horison Methodist Church in Johannesburg, and the wedding was a miracle case because the gentleman is over 60, the lady is above 50,. The lady was a miracle case Because the gentleman is over 60. The lady is above 50. The lady was in Kenya, gentleman in South Africa. The Lord brought them together miraculously. The lady is a missionary at the coast here in Kenya. The gentleman is serving the Lord somewhere in South Africa, but the Lord brought them together miraculously and I tell you there's a miracle in the house, hallelujah. And it's never late. It's never late for anybody, never late. So that's what I went to preside over and we had some very good service. They are wonderful celebrating the miracle. I also met many Kenyans they passed their greetings and some South Africans. They told me about Johannesburg, about South Africa and what we can do for the Lord down in the South. Some of them special mention Abishag and her husband, robert Ngerenge, and also Charles and the wife Wangeshi, right from the airport to the hotel, everywhere they just hosted me and I was treated like a king. On your behalf, hallelujah, thank you. Thank you very much. I know they are following the service. I really appreciate you guys in the south for that support and thank you all for praying for me as I went Pastor Ambrose, thank you very much and also came back successfully Now.

Speaker 1:

The Lord bless you. The Lord keep you. The Lord cause his face to shine upon you. The Lord be gracious to you. The Lord turn his face toward you. The Lord give you peace. May the Lord see you're going out. May the Lord see you're coming in.

Speaker 1:

May the blessings of Deuteronomy 28, verse 2, accompany you this week Monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, Friday, saturday and even Sunday. May every blessing in the spiritual realms according to Ephesians 1.3, become your portion. May the blessings that came upon Abraham also become yours. They are covenant blessings because we are descendants of Abraham. You are blessed in such a way that you are covered on every side and no weapon fashioned against you shall prosper. This week.

Speaker 1:

God has taken care, through this blessing, of every one of your details and because of this blessing, every day of the week, everywhere you go, there will be favor. Everywhere you go, I prophesy, doors will open for you Everywhere you go. Because of the blessing. It shall be easy for you this week, because of this blessing, you shall walk from breakthrough to breakthrough. I have decreed this blessing in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and we all say glory to God. God is good, god is good. Turn to the pastor next to you and say the words of the grace. And now may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us now and forevermore. Amen. Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever and ever and ever. Amen Shalom.
