Parklands Baptist Church's Podcast
14th Dec 2025 2nd Service; Eternal & Impactful Presence. By PBC Senior Pastor, Rev. Ambrose Nyangao, EBS
A great light breaks into a weary world, not with sirens and fences, but with presence. We open Isaiah 9 and follow the thread through Matthew and John to ask a simple but seismic question: what changes when God steps into history with a human face? From the manger to the throne, we map three anchors—entry, naming, and reigning—and show how they transform fear, purpose, and daily choices.
First, entry. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us, not as a seasonal sentiment but as the doorway into redemption. That move gives us access: children of God by grace, not performance. Then, naming. Isaiah’s titles—Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace—are not poetry for cards; they are job descriptions for your life. The Wonderful Counsellor offers wisdom for real problems. The Mighty God defends when you feel outmatched. The Everlasting Father ends spiritual orphanhood. The Prince of Peace stitches broken pieces into wholeness. Along the way, we challenge false refuges that promise relief but chain the soul, inviting listeners to seek better counsel and a better comfort.
Finally, reigning. The government is on his shoulders, and there is no end to his peace. We explore royal authority through the image of the sceptre and Esther’s bold pivot: stop pleading as if shut out and write a new decree aligned with the King. You are made a kingdom and priests under Christ’s supremacy, called to act with faith and clarity—on paper and in prayer. Finish strong, not by hype but by presence: assurance over anxiety, purpose over drift, peace over chaos.
If this spoke to you, share it with a friend, subscribe for more, and leave a review with the word or name of Jesus that lifted you most today. Your story might be the light someone else needs.

As we celebrate Christmas and as we think about Christmas, we want to read this scripture in Isaiah, which was a prophecy from Isaiah chapter 9, verse 1 to 7. I read. Nevertheless, there'll be no more gloom for those who are in distress. In the past, he humbled the land of Zebalon and the land of Naphtali, but in the future he will honor Galilee of the nations by the way of the sea beyond the Jordan. The people walking in darkness have seen a great light on those living in the land of deep darkness. A light has dawned. You have enlarged the nation and increased their joy. They rejoice before you as people rejoice at the harvest, as warriors rejoice when dividing the plunder. For as in the day of Median's defeat, you have shattered the yoke that burdens them, the bar across their shoulders, the rod of their oppressor, every warrior's boot used in battle and every garment rolled in blood will be destined for burning, will be fueled for the fire. And now let us read these two verses together. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders, and he will be called wonderful counselor, mighty God, everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, of the greatness of his government and peace. There'll be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness. From that time on and forever, the zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this. This is God's word, and God's people say. Please be seated as we pray. Father, we thank you for your word. And we thank you for the presence we have felt from the time we came to this service. And we just want to say thank you for honoring us with your presence. May we admire that presence, may we live in that presence, may we enjoy that presence, because in your presence there is fullness of joy. Speak through my mouth, declare your word to us this afternoon. In Jesus' name, I have prayed. Amen. Look at your neighbor and tell your neighbor presence. I'll tell your neighbor, presence. I'll tell the other neighbor who ignored you, and common presence. Amen. And as we talk about Christmas, presence is very important because it is through God's presence that we enjoy Christmas. We enjoy the coming of Jesus. Three things I'll be talking about: the presence, the eternal and impactful presence. Number one, the entry. Tell your neighbor the entry. Number two, the naming. And number three, the reigning. Buana Sifiwe. The entry, the presence of God. The former president of the United States of America, President Barack Obama, came to Kenya four times. The first time he came was in 1988. He was a young man visiting his homeland. The second time the president came was 2006. At that time he was a U.S. senator. And I believe that when he came for the first time, we didn't really realize he came. When he came in 2006, some of us were not born. Hello. But in 2015, he came as the president of the United States of America. That day when he came, the country felt his coming. His entry was serious and amazing. We felt his presence. Of course, the fourth time he came was in 2018 as the former president of the United States of America. But I'm sharing this to tell you this that in 2015, when he came as the president, his presence was so felt that things shifted in Westlands. Tell your neighbor, things shifted. From the museum to Westlands here, this place was shut down. Kempinski, Sankara. Some guys were told to go home. In Sankara, just stay home. That place was completely occupied by the United States of America. They carried their own cars. The cars came. The eternal presence of God became flesh and dwelt among us. At that time he came. There was not so much power, there was not so much pomp. But when he came, he came as a baby. Let me read these verses in Matthew chapter 1 from verse 18. Because that was his entry, coming and bringing the presence of God to humanity. The Bible says this is how the birth of Jesus, the Messiah, came about. His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph. But before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit. Because Joseph, her husband, was faithful to the law and yet did not want to expose her to public disgrace. He had in mind to divorce her quietly. But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins. This almightiness did not come in that almightiness. That almightiness was put inside a baby born in a manger two thousand years ago. But his entry divided time and divided history. Today we talk about BC before Christ and AD. This baby, this little child, was the presence of God manifested on this planet. The Bible says, John chapter 1, verse 1, talking about this mighty God who became flesh. In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. The word was who was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made. Without him, nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. Verse 11 of that same chapter, the Bible says this in Israel. Verse 11, he came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become the children of God. Verse 14 then goes ahead and says, This the word became flesh. This this God became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. God became flesh. That's what Christmas is all about. And let me tell you this: God could not enter this planet as a spirit. I'm saying God could not enter this planet as a spirit. I'm saying God could not enter this planet as a spirit. Because for you to be legitimate on this planet, you have to have flesh. So just touch your neighbor, just make sure he's not a spirit. There's not a spirit. Hello? God had to become flesh and dwell among us. That's why demons, for them to be legitimate on this planet, have to seek something. Either a human body or an animal or a shrine or a place they need somewhere because they cannot be floating in space. They are illegitimate. And so God became legitimate legitimate on this earth by becoming flesh, dwelling among us, being born through the Virgin Mary. And we thank God for that. That was his entry. Tell your neighbor the entry. Isaiah prophesied and said in Isaiah chapter 9, verse 6, and he tells us in that prophecy, unto us, for to us a child is born. To us a son is given. Now note very carefully that his entry, he had to come as a child. He had to come as a have a body. That's how he came. But also he came as a son of God. He came as a child of man, a child of a woman, but he was a son of God. And the Bible says the reason why he came is because through that birth, the redemption story was being finalized. Hallelujah. The redemption story was being finalized. And many times we take the birth of Jesus for granted. But let me say this: it is through this birth that now you have entry into the kingdom of God. This Jesus who found entry through the womb of Mary. Now this same Jesus has become the door, the entry into eternal life. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father but by me. And he is the door. And he's coming to you and he says, Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and eat it with him with him and he with me. Jesus did not just come for a visit. Jesus came that he could take humanity and turn them into eternal sons and daughters of the living God. The birth of Christ opened the door for redemption. The birth of Christ introduced divinity to humanity. The birth of Christ unveiled the eternal kingdom in this planet, in this earth. Thank God that Jesus came. Tell your neighbor, I thank God for Jesus' coming. But Jesus did not just come and dwell with us, Jesus was also given a name. Tell your neighbor, Jesus was named. Isaiah chapter 9, verse 6 reminds us of those names. The Bible says, For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called. Now these were the four names. He'll be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. These names were important. Now to Mary, he was called Jesus. He was also called Emmanuel, God with us. But these four names are key because they show us his assignment. He's a wonderful counselor. The word counselor, today when we talk about counselor, we talk about therapists. Tell your neighbor, therapist. So tell your neighbor, Jesus is the wonderful therapist. So if you want somebody to listen to you, if you want somebody to talk to you, Jesus is a wonderful counselor. The Bible says that He is our wisdom. By wisdom, a house is built. And so this child who was born, this one who was born was a counselor. And many times when people are looking for wisdom, they go to everybody else except this Jesus. Let me tell you this Jesus will open your mind. The Bible says, Call unto me, and I will answer you. I will tell you great and hidden things that you do not know. Amen. He will show you. One time I lost my ID in the house. I'm telling you, I look for it. I look for it. I turned papers. I turned books. I looked. I could not find it. And then I told, I said, Lord, I cannot be looking for this ID, and I know you know where it is. So Jesus, show me where that ID is. And out of nowhere, I think I was just moving something. Moving something. Moving something. And there it was. Now let me ask you, do you think it was there all the time? Now you use your brain, use your brain, use your brain. Do you think that idea was there all the time? Think, think, think, think, think, think. Was it there all the time? Tell your neighbor foolishness out. Wisdom in. Pastor Simon Oder, I believe, is that it was not there. It was somewhere else. The moment I told Jesus I need to find it, Jesus picked it from wherever it was and put it near where I could find it. Seek and you shall find. Look at your neighbor and tell your neighbor, you need a counselor. Hallelujah. You need a counselor, tell your neighbor you need a counselor. Jesus will unveil things, He will show you things. Bonas if you Pastor Simon, you remember when Saul was looking for his donkeys. He searched for his donkeys, then he went to the man of God. And he told him that he knew the man of God would tell him where the donkeys were. And then the man of God says, Hey, don't worry about the donkeys. You are coming to be anointed as king. You know, sometimes you may be looking for things when God is preparing you for bigger things. In Jesus' name. So Jesus is a wonderful counselor. He will show you, He will tell you great and hidden things that you do not know. He will tell you which country you're going to go next. I'm saying he'll tell you which country to go next. Bonas if you some of you don't want to go to any country, so you just want to stay in Kino. But I'm telling you, in Jesus' name, God will surprise you. Hallelujah. God will surprise you. That wonderful counselor, wonderful. Jesus doesn't condemn us. Look at John chapter 3, verse 16. Because many times we think when we go to Jesus to give us counsel, he's going to tell us how bad we are. But look at John 3.16. The Bible says this in John 3.16. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. Look at verse 17. For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned. But whoever does not believe stands condemned already because, excuse me, because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. God loves you. Wonderful counselor. Wonderful counselor. You know, Mike Panther is here with us working with the Hope Mobility. He has written a book which is amazing. And maybe as he was growing up and challenged, he may not even he did not know his purpose of life. But in knowing Jesus, Jesus unveiled to him purpose. Look at your neighbor and tell your neighbor purpose. You know JP is here with uh with a team, and JP when he's on that guitar, he's in another world. Buana Sifiwe. Now you trying try holding a guitar yourself. Just look at your neighbor, tell your neighbor, do you have ever played a guitar? If JP, if JP gave you his guitar and and it's a good guitar, if he gave you the guitar and said, play it, you see, you will just throw it down. It will be like there's nothing. Because as far as you're concerned, your purpose is not there. But the moment he holds the guitar, his purpose is manifested. It is released. The Agape band, when they stand here, their purpose to lead worship and to celebrate God is released to them. The moves they have, they had those moves before. I wish we had time to get your testimonies. Only Jesus can give you purpose. Only Jesus can unveil what your purpose is all about. And I'm telling you, if you come to this wonderful counselor, he will show you, he will tell you what you need to do, where you need to do it, and how you need to do it. Jesus is the purpose giver. Look at your neighbor and tell your neighbor, I have a purpose. Tell your neighbor I have a purpose. And tell your neighbor, I'll not tell you. Many people try to figure out their purpose. But let me tell you this purpose is discovered. As you get to know this Jesus, as you get to understand him, as you get to grow in him, the wonderful counselor will tell you. This is the direction you should go. He's not only a wonderful counselor, he is also a mighty God. Tell your neighbor, mighty God. Jesus is a mighty God. This one who entered, he was given a name, mighty God. Mighty God. Why? He is not only God, he is also what? Mighty. He's mighty. He will take care of you. He will fight for you. Pastor Simon, you remember when in primary school we'd go to school, we'll get bullied by people. Bullied, bullied, bullied. Now, for me, as a firstborn, I'll be bullied and I would not have anybody to fight for me. I'm the firstborn. Who do I know? But imagine you are the thirdborn. And you're being bullied, bullied. But you have a brother who is the firstborn. And that that brother is a bodybuilder. Hallelujah. He's a bodybuilder. I like bodybuilders. Some of them are sitting just next to you. Just look around. You may be sitting next to a bodybuilder. These guys who build their muscles. And then then they become strong. We're not talking about people like Dekon Joe. Dekon Joe is not a bodybuilder. Hello? But he has a body. But I'm telling you, so this guy is going to school, he's being bullied, lunch is being taken, thrown down. You know, your shirt is being pulled out, and you cry, you run home to your big brother, and he said, Why are you crying? Oh, I was beaten, this, this, and that. He says, Tomorrow when you go to school, I'll come follow you. And you know, bodybuilders, I don't know not walk straight like Pastor Ambrose. They build muscles, they pump iron, pump iron, and suddenly their arms start going out. Hallelujah. Muscles grow big, they don't walk straight like Pastor Ambrose, they walk around like this. These are bodybuilders. Now you can imagine this boy is running to school, and the brother is coming behind him. And these guys start bullying him. What do you think he will do? He'll not run. The brother is coming. Hallelujah. The brother is coming and they're pushing him, pushing him, pushing him. And suddenly, big brother shows up. And everybody takes off because they cannot handle that brother. Let me tell you this: your big brother Jesus is in the house. Your big brother Jesus is in the house. Telling you he carried the weight of the world. He did not pump iron, he carried the weight of the world, carried the weight of the universe. This one who got hold of the devil spinned him around, threw him to hell. That is your big brother, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. And he's walking with you every day. And that is why that presence, you don't have to be afraid of situations and circumstances. You don't have to let the devil beat you up every day. You don't have to keep running to God and say, God, where were you? Why did it you do this for me? All you need to do is this be aware. Your brother is around. Be aware. Be aware. Mighty God. And not only that, everlasting Father. Jesus came to bring us a relationship with the Heavenly Father. We are no longer just without fathers. We are not fatherless. We have a Father. And we have a relationship with God. And through Christ, we have that relationship. That's why we came. That's what Christmas is all about: relationship with our Heavenly Father. But Jesus is also the Prince of Peace. Tell your neighbor, Prince of Peace. Jesus brings wholeness. He takes what is broken and puts it together. He takes what is scattered and makes everything become real to you. And today I'm saying to you in Jesus' name, allow Jesus to be your peace. Allow Jesus to be a prince of peace. He will put things together. He will put your finances together. He will put you your relationships together. Hallelujah. Let God arise and let his enemies be scattered. Know that he came for that. He's no longer a baby in a manger. He's seated at the right hand of God the Father. I'm telling you, and I'm talking to these men who graduated, Jesus is man enough. And he's more than enough. In Jesus' name. Hallelujah. Look at your neighbor one more time and tell your neighbor you don't have to be afraid. Let me read this verse, Isaiah 41:10. This is what the Bible says, and God is speaking to us, He's telling us this. He says, So do not fear. For I'm with you. Do not be dismayed. For I'm your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. This is God. Buana Sifiwe. Have you ever tried driving your car and your insurance expired? Hello? How do you feel driving your car and the insurance is expired? The people you fear most are wearing yellow jackets. And I'm telling you, when you're driving, if you're driving and your insurance is finished and you didn't know, you're not afraid because it is your it is ignorance. But if you know it is finished, you pray all the prayers that you should not meet anybody with a yellow jacket. But if your insurance is paid and it was just paid yesterday, and you meet people with the yellow jackets, do you get scared? Because you have had full insurance for the whole year. Let me tell you this Jesus Christ is your insurance. I'm saying Jesus Christ is your insurance, paid for eternity, not just for the year, paid for eternity in Jesus' name. So tell your neighbor, don't be afraid. Who is this person? Let me show you Colossians chapter 1, verse 15. Who is this who is your insurer? Who is this who is the one who will fight your battles? Who is this? The Bible says the Son is the image of the invisible God. That's who he is, the firstborn of all creation. For in him all things were created. Things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities, all things have been created through him, and for him, he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church, he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have supremacy. For God, for God was pleased to have all his fullness, all his fullness, all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood shed on the cross. Tell your neighbor, Jesus is my wonderful counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. So don't be afraid, don't be afraid, don't be afraid, don't be afraid. You are going to finish this year strong. Don't be afraid, don't be afraid. He is with you, he will fight your battles. David faced Goliath, and he was not afraid. Why? He said, You come to me with spear and with sword, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the one who fights with the armies of heaven. I'm telling you, today walk out of this church with your head held high. Hallelujah. But thirdly, not only was there the entry, the naming, but there's the reigning. Tell your neighbor the reigning. The Bible says this in Isaiah chapter 9, verse 7. Let me read those verses quickly. It says this. Let's go back. Go back. Go back. Let's pick it from verse 6. We'll come to verse 7. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. Tell your neighbor the government. You see, Jesus did not bring a religion. He came with a government. Jesus came with a government. The government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called wonderful counselor, mighty God, everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. And then he says, of the greatness of his government and peace, there will be no end. No end. No end. No end. Let me tell you this Jesus does not need an election. Tell your neighbor, Jesus does not need an election. He's never nominated, he's never voted in. Buonassifi. Jesus will go one term, two term, three term, four term. Eternally, eternally. That's our Christ. Buonassifiwe. Look at your neighbor and tell your neighbor, receive that. Buonassifi. Tell your neighbor, Jesus reigns. Barak came as the president. He later came as a former president. Jesus will never be former. Jesus will never be former. He reigns eternally. His presence is with us eternally. That is why you can vouch your everything on him. And today we say, be saved, be born again. Let God come into your life. Because if you don't, you will still meet him as the one who is king of kings and Lord of lords. No escape. You will meet him. But meet him now. When he says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy, laden, I'll give you rest. Let me tell you this Jesus will not take away your good times, he will give you a better time. You know, some of you go to clubs and you have a good time and you say, Maze, some of you actually were in the club yesterday, and you're here. And I'm glad you're here. Though you are seeing me, three of me. You're saying now, Pastors Niwengi. It's just me. Tell your neighbor you're in the right place. Yes. This Jesus doesn't care where you're in whether you're in a club, doesn't care where you came from. What he knows is where he's taking you. He's taking you to better places. He's taking you to higher places. And you can lean on him, you can depend on him. Pastor Saimo, I don't know if you ever went to clubs. They were called discourses. You know, you are a nice guy. Mimi Niliqua the other way around. No nice guy. Enjoyed myself, you know. But we met a master. His name is Jesus Christ. But thank God He saved me from many things. Uh, one of the things he saved me for is alcohol. And I want to say if they if anybody's here and you're drinking alcohol and you've just started, please. I plead with you. Stop. Let me talk to the people on this side. Because those who take alcohol are not here. I'm talking to the people on this side. Just look at your neighbor. You might find some influence. But let me tell you this the Lord saved me long ago because my father used to drink alcohol a lot. One of the things he used to drink was alcohol Guinness for Papa. And you would invite people in the house, Pilsner, Tasca, all those things. Now, after that visitors had gone, it was between me and my brother to carry that crate to the kiosk where it came from. Hello? But we told ourselves before it reaches the kiosk, we must find out what these adults were drinking. And so we took we took those those, and there was not much left. So we filled one bottle. Imagine you're filling it with a Pelsna, Guinness for power, until it is in the middle. Then we drank it. I nearly died. First of all, it was so bitter. Then it was so bad. And then I started coughing, coughing. And I said, What does my dad drink? And it was just out of that experience, that one. I never went to the way of alcohol. God just saved me from that. Because the path of alcoholism is one of the worst paths you can ever take. Now forget this excuse. Oh, we're having a good time. It is just social drinking. I'm telling you, forget this social drinking problem. Because guys who are alcoholics, and you look at them and they try to get out of this thing, they can't. They're trying their best. And the next time they see a bottle, you know, everything goes. And their path is sliding. Did you know about alcohol is mentioned in the Bible? Do you know this verse in Proverbs 23? I don't know why I'm talking about alcohol, but somebody needs to hear that message. Just give me Proverbs. Just straight to help somebody because that path is not a good path. Proverbs 23, verse 29. Let me read this. This is an alcoholic speaking. When you die, when you sit, who has woe? Now, this is what he's talking about. Who has woe? Who has sorrow? Who has strife? Who has complaints? Who has needless bruises? Who has bloodshot eyes? Those who linger over wine, who go to sample balls of mixed wine. Do not gaze at wine when it is red, when it sparkles in the cup, when it goes down smoothly. In the end, it bites like a snake and poisons like a viper. Your eyes will see strange sights. Three pastors preaching. And your mind will imagine confusing things. You will be like one sleeping on the high seas, lying on top of the rigging. They hit me, you will say. But I'm not hurt. They beat me, but I don't feel it. When will I wake up? So I can find another drink. That is bondage. And I want to say this. This Jesus came to set the captives free. Don't go that path. I'm talking to somebody here today. This December. Don't go that path. And if you are stuck and you don't know what to do, we have a therapist. His name is Jesus. He knows how to set you up. He knows how to take you out of that situation. And sometimes it is just a matter of you confessing and saying, by the way, I have a problem. I have an alcoholic problem. And there are people around who will help you take you out of that situation. So I don't know why I went there, but I'm living there, that place right now, in Jesus' name. So look at your neighbor and tell your neighbor, how many pastors do you see? On the pulpit. Now, let me go to Proverbs. Not Proverbs, Isaiah. Tell your neighbor Isaiah. His government will have no end. He'll be reigning. He'll be reigning. And I'm talking to royalty. Tell your neighbor you're sitting next to royalty. You see, Pastor Simon, a king has a what is called a scepter. A scepter. Some people call it skepta. It's a scepter. That scepter. You see, Jesus did not just become a king to walk around with that scepter. He came to give you that scepter. He came to make us kings, royal priests to the living God. He did not only come to save us, he came to give us a new name. If anyone is in Christ, he's a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, a new has come. But he also came to give us a scepter. Tell your neighbor, a scepter. Let me read Revelation chapter 1, verse 5. The Bible says this about this scepter. And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth, to him who loves us and has freed us from all our sins. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood. And has made us to be what? He has made us to be what? A kingdom. Act like one. Know that you are one. Because this presence, though it is out there, this presence is now inside you. The king lives inside you. Amen. Let me finish that verse. Verse go to verse, and he's and he has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father. To him be glory and power forever and ever. Amen. But you know, Pastor Simon, let me read this verse because it talks about Jesus, Psalms 45, verse 6, and about this scepter. This, this, this authority. He says, Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever. A scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom. Buana Sifiwe. A scepter. And God has now given us that scepter. He has given us that ability. And I want to say this God has given you a scepter to shift situations and circumstances. In the book of Exeter, the Bible says this. Esther chapter 5, verse 2. Esther was trying to get to the king, and she knew that if she just arrives, she's dead. But listen to this when the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court, he was pleased with her and held out to her the what? The golden scepter that was in his hand. So Esther approached and touched the tip of the scepter. You see, this scepter gives you authority, gives you authority for certain things. So today, God is stretching out a scepter and saying, I'm giving you access. Pastor Simon, you know, let me tell you the ABC of the scepter. God is giving you access. Of his assurance. The presence, A, assurance. B the presence of boldness. C the presence of recovering. D the presence of being deployed. E the presence of elevation. F the presence of freedom. G. The presence of gifting. H the presence of honor. I the presence of inspiration. J the presence of justice. And I can do that until Z. But I'll stop there because God is stretching out a scepter. Receive it. Receive it. Receive it. Tell your neighbor this month my Christmas will be great. In Jesus' name. But let me finish with this. You see, Esther was pleading for his name for her nation, and then Haman, the Agagite, got killed. But Esther was still scared. Now let me go to Esther chapter 8. Haman is killed. But listen, verse 1. Let me start with verse 1. Chapter 8, verse 1. The same day King Zaxus gave Queen Esther the estate of Haman. So let me repeat that. That same day, King Zaxus gave Queen Esther the estate of who? Haman. God has given you everything the devil had taken. So let me say that again. God has given you everything the devil has taken. Because Haman was killed, the enemy of the Jews. And Mordecai came into the presence, came into the presence of the king. For Esther had told how he was related to her. The king took off his signet ring, which he had reclaimed from Haman, and presented it to Mordecai. And Esther appointed Mordecai over Haman's estate. Now, verse 3. Now this is where the confusion started. Esther is related to the king. Look at your neighbor and tell your neighbor, related. Tell your neighbor, so related. But Esther is doing what in verse 3? Pleading. So look at your neighbor and tell your neighbor, stop pleading. You are a king. Esther again pleaded with the king, falling at his feet and weeping. She begged him, pleading, begging him to put an end to the evil plan of Esther or of Haman, the Agagite, which he had devised against the Jews. Then the king did something else. Again, he extended the gold scepter to Esther, and she arose and stood before him. Verse 5 She said, If it pleases the king, and if he regards me with favor and thinks it is the right thing to do, and if he is pleased with me, let an order be written, overruling the dispatches that Haman's son of Hamada, the Agagite, devised and wrote to destroy the Jews in all the king's provinces. For how can I bear to see the disaster fall on my people? How can I bear to see the destruction of my family? Then King Zaxus told her, Foolishness out, wisdom in. King Zaxus replied to Queen Esther and Mordecai the Jew, Because Haman attacked the Jews, I have given his estate to Esther, and they have impaled him on the pole. He set up his done, he's gone. Now, now this is the wisdom I'm giving to you now. Now, write another decree. This month, write another decree. The devil has stressed through the whole year, and you're telling God, when will it stop? The devil is defeated. Now you write another decree in the king's name in behalf of the Jews, as seems best to you. Let me talk to the people on this side. Write it as it seems best to you. Dictate it to the king. I like this. Now write another decree in the king's name behalf of the Jews, as seems best to you, and then seal it with a king's signet ring. For no document written in the king's name and sealed with his ring can be revoked. There are some things God is about to undo for you. Since it passed you, let me say it again. There are some things God is about to undo for you. But you write it down. Write it down. I'm saying, write it down. Stop being chased by the enemy. You are a king who is reigning. Write it down. And then say, God, I'm signing it in your name. And the king will revoke that which the enemy purposed for you. You're a king. Your royalty. And the king did exactly that. Is it your business? Write as you please. Don't keep saying the economy is bad. I have too many debts. The supplies I needed are not coming. Throw that paper and write another one. The supplies are coming in abundance. The partnership we started is going through. The monies I asked for have been delivered by Wednesday next week. Just write it down. And I'm telling you, heaven will surprise you. Heaven will surprise you. You're a king. You're royalty. Write it down. That devil is defeated. Herman has been killed. You are reigning. Write it down as you please according to the word of God. And something will shift for you. Something will shift for you. I'm saying you're finishing strong. I'm saying you're finishing strong. Now stand on your feet. And while you're standing on your feet, begin to tell your neighbor, I'm taking off. Look at your neighbor and tell your neighbor I'm taking off. I'm going to the next level. In Jesus' name. Now, when you're saying it, you need to smile because it is true. Bonas if you are you glad you came today? What did you learn today? A lot. Do you know what a lot is in Kijalua? A lot. Who said a lot? Did you learn anything? I know you did. And so take what you what you have learned. And number one. What did I say? Number one, the entry. So Jesus entered into humanity so that he would give us divinity. Amen. What was the second thing? Jesus had a name. Wonderful counselor. Mighty. Everlasting Prince. That is your Jesus. And that presence is not just in heaven. That presence is inside you. The wonderful counselor is inside you. The mighty God is inside you. Don't try to be smarter than Him. Lean on Him. He will guide you. What was the third thing I said? Reigning. Now don't sit and think you're going to float into heaven. No. Reign with Him. Take charge. Bring the devil down. Jesus is the head. The devil is under your feet. In Jesus' name. Change your situations. Change your circumstances. Jesus got exceeding expectations. And because of Jesus, you're also experiencing exceeding expectations. Pastor Simon, I was saying this in the morning. You know, when I failed my form 6, I got an F in mathematics. And then the other subjects, I got an E, and then another E. The people in the Ministry of Education should come and re-look at my results. Because they need to change my EE to exceeding expectation. So God knew. He knew Kitambo. He told me F means fantastic. And E E means. And some of your children just finished KJ and we celebrate them. Why don't we give God a big hand for our children? Amen. So tell your neighbor, you're not approaching expectation. You have exceeded expectation. So where God sits in heaven, he'll not check you and say you are below expectation. He'll not sit there saying you're approaching expectation. In Christ, you are exceeding. You have exceeded expectation. Receive that in Jesus' name. Receive that in Jesus' name. No wonder I'm standing here today. Buana Sifiwe. My F become. My EE has become. They should look at my results. Jesus' name. But let me tell you this. Please take seriously the things I've said to you today. That issue of alcohol. I'm saying it one more time. Some of you have just started. Stop. Stop. Stop. You do not want to go see Jesus with a hangover. Hello? You're exceeding expectation. Bon as if you were. And for those children who are among us, and some of the parents drink a lot. Let me say this. Please, those children are not listening to you. They are watching you. And they'll do exactly what you're doing. You don't want to destroy a future like that. Amen. So, Pastor Simon, I'm very serious. And I'm speaking to this congregation. I'm speaking to those of you who are online. And I'm saying, Do not be drunk with wine, but be filled with the Holy Spirit. Singing psalms. You know, even when you are filled with the Holy Spirit, you sing. Like when you're filled with alcohol, you also sing. There's a song we are used to hear drunkards sing. My friend, there's a better drink. Jesus Christ. That one will take you to heaven. That will take you to high places. That will take you to gracious places. Please drink the living wine that is in Jesus Christ. Amen. Look at your neighbor and tell your neighbor, you are royalty. And you're looking good. And you'll continue looking good. And you're finishing strong in Jesus' name. Give your neighbor high five. And tell them Merry Christmas. And a happy new year. This is in advance, okay? We wish you a Merry Christmas. Wish you a Merry Christmas. One more time. We wish a Merry Christmas. We wish a Merry Christmas.
SPEAKER_00:We wish a Merry Christmas.
SPEAKER_01:Another high five to our neighbor. Amen. Okay, Pastor Simon, be heading here. In Jesus' name. I want to pray for you. I want to bless you. Have a wonderful holiday season. Some of you are traveling up country, some are going down country to Mombasa, others are going to Dubai, and others are going to still stay in Kino. But we just want to thank all of you for having come to church today. Why don't you give yourself a big hand? One more hand through the Magape band. Lift up your hand as I pray. Father, in the name of Jesus, I celebrate this congregation. Those watching us online, those in the pavilion, those in the parents' room, wherever they will hear this message recorded, I want to just release this blessing. This is a celebrative season. And Lord, we know that quite a number of people have traveled to come to the city. And they are those going to be traveling out. We pray for journey masses, for protection on the roads, on the air, in the air, on the seas. Whichever travel means they will use, Holy Spirit, presence of God, go with this, your people. And dear Lord, make their celebrative moments memorable for Christ. And dear Father, I thank you because this congregation has been with us since January. And we thank you for their faithfulness. Coming to church, bringing their children to church, worshiping with us, those who are online, those who are here. And Lord, I just want to give them a pastoral blessing. And I want to just decree to you, may the Lord bless you. May the Lord make his face to shine upon you. May the Lord be gracious to you. May the Lord bless you in the city. May the Lord bless you in the countryside. May the Lord bless you when you come in. May the Lord bless you when you go out. May the Lord bless you when you sit down. May the Lord bless you when you rise up. Your family is blessed. Your children are blessed. Your grandchildren are blessed. Your education is blessed. Your opportunities are blessed. Your businesses are blessed. Your career is blessed. Your ministry is blessed. You are blessed. In the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and God's people say, Come and receive that in Jesus' name. Pastor Simon is going to release us with a benediction caribusama.
SPEAKER_00:Let's appreciate Reverend Ambrose Ngao. Let's give a hand a big hand. Thank you so much, servant of God, for your faithfulness over the years, and especially today's serving, the way you have, and uh the message that has come across that is powerful, is very practical, and we I'll remember it forever. I hope everybody else will. The entry, the naming, and the reigning, eternal and what impactful presence. That was the title eternal and impact impactful presence. So the naming, the reigning, sorry, the entry, the naming, and the reigning. Another hand to the Lord as we appreciate ever numbers. Yeah, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you very much.
