Power In The Blood Introduced

I greet you in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and also bring you a powerful word titled Power in the Blood of Jesus. I'm not talking about any other powers because there are all kinds of powers: money power, education power, engine power, among other powers. I'm talking about power in the blood of Jesus. And there are three things I want to highlight regarding this power that only the blood of Jesus can actually accomplish. Number one, power to redeem. Number two, power to cleanse. And number three, power to overcome. First of all, power to redeem. Let me remind us that through Adam and his fall and sin in the beginning, the Bible says in Romans chapter 3 and verse 23, all sinned and fell short of the glory of God. And through that sin and through that act, we entered the slave market of sin and could not get ourselves out of that slave market. It is impossible when you are locked up in the slave market for you to get yourself out of that place or for your family to get itself out of that place. But thanks be to God, who sent his son Jesus Christ to die on the cross, so that he may shed this precious blood that is able to redeem us, to buy us back from the slave market, and to restore us to sonship. 1 Peter 1, verse 18 and verse 19 says, We have not been redeemed with corruptible things, you know, like silver or even like animals, but we've been redeemed by the precious blood of the Lamb. And we thank God for giving us Jesus, who became the Lamb, who died on the cross, and shed the blood that carries the power to redeem us, to buy us back from the slave market and to position us again as sons of God. And so the power in the blood of Jesus is the only power that can redeem us. And um, I really appreciate that. Take time to thank God for the redeeming power that's in the blood of Jesus. If you have not acknowledged this redemptive power of the blood, I encourage you to acknowledge it right now in Jesus' name. But number two, power to cleanse. You know, the stain of sin is not like the stain you have sometimes on your clothes, and you get some detergents and you wash and clean, you know, using some detergents. The stain of sin cannot be cleaned by any detergent on planet Earth. Only the blood of Jesus can clean the stain of sin or cleanse us completely from all sin. 1 John chapter 1 and verse 7 says, God is light and in him there is no darkness. If we walk in the light as he's in the light, yeah, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin. Only the blood of Jesus has the power to cleanse the stain of sin. And uh maybe there has been a stain of sin in your life, you've been trying to cleanse it by good works, or being religious, you know, or going to church on Sunday, that's not enough. You need to plead the blood over that stain and invite the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus. David in Psalm 51 invites the cleaning power of hysop, and he's talking about clean me with hyssop. We thank God we don't have to use hyssop today. The blood of Jesus is available and the blood of Jesus is able to cleanse every sin. In fact, cancel it totally, remove it forever, and every record and make us clean and whole again. But number three, power to overcome. In the blood of Jesus is a victory you are looking for. In the blood of Jesus is a breakthrough you are looking for. In the blood of Jesus is a favor that you are looking for. That blood opens doors and opens gates. That blood overcomes chains and bondages. That blood sets free. In John chapter 8, verse 36, the Bible says, Whoever the Son of God sets free is free indeed. This victory comes only through the blood of Jesus. And today we can rejoice and celebrate that our salvation has been accomplished through the blood of Jesus. And for that reason, through his blood, we can say, I am redeemed, I am cleansed, I am an overcomer. That can be your portion today by simply acknowledging the power, power in the blood of Jesus. So stop struggling. Come to the blood. It was all done at Calvary. Come by faith. It's an act of grace. God has done it, and you simply come to Him as you are, and Jesus, through His blood, will redeem you, will cleanse you, and also give you victory. May this blood cover your life, protect you, open doors for you, and leads you, lead you into the past everlasting. Thank you very much. God bless you as you celebrate power in the blood of Jesus.
