Interviewing the Interviewer with Darren Stevenson

Emma and Xavier Season 1 Episode 9

In the fall of 2017 Darren Stevenson started 519 Sports Online. The company provides a spotlight for local athletes and teams and is a positive, promotional platform sharing success stories from the community.

Darren was very interesting to talk to. He has been in sports media for over 20 years, so he has been involved with a lot of different sports. Hear how Darren’s previous careers at TSN and CTV Kitchener led him to starting 519 Sports Online.

We talk about sports, books, we learn more about what it’s like to run your own company and Darren passes along some great video editing tips too!

Darren is passionate about bringing attention to the excitement of minor sports. Learn how local athletes and sports teams are just as fun to follow, watch and cheer for as professional sports. Darren drives all over the 519 area code to film and post on YouTube, highlights from many amateur sports games.

Maybe Darren has filmed one of your games?

Watch all the 519 local highlights on the 519 Sports Online website or YouTube channel.
