Show Notes

In this maiden edition of Afrika in Focus, we look at Zimbabwe's decision to use Gold to back up its currency.

We explain the reason for this citing the wicked western sanctions that have been imposed on Zimbabwe for 20 years that have in effect dismembered the country's economic progress.

We delve into the reason why sanctions were imposed on Zimbabwe explaining that the sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe by the West were as a direct result of former Zimbabwe president the Late Robert Mugabe's decision to take back stolen Afrikan land  from White imperialists.

We touch upon some of the catastrophic effects of these sanctions including hyper inflation that has made the cost of living in Zimbabwe stressful. We also dispel the western lies that Zimbabwe is starving and end by stating that this move by Zimbabwe if implemented wisely is a very strategic one which is about self determination, Afrikan economic emancipation which could yield great rewards  for the country.
