Show Notes

This week's edition of Ghana in Focus is the last in our three part series looking at Ghanaian cuisine.   This week we look at two very popular and widely eaten dishes in Ghana.

First is Emutuo ene Nkatenkwan (Rice balls and Peanut butter soup).  This is a very popular dish amongst Ghanaian people which is eaten for lunch or as an evening meal.

In some cultures, it is eaten as a special on Sundays after church or outdoorings.

The next dish is Banku and Okra Stew or Nkrumah as it is known in Ghana.  Again this is a very popular meal in Ghana that is often eaten for lunch and dinner and sometimes for breakfast!!
