When it comes to UFO crashes, Brazil told Roswell "Hold my beer!" We're talking about the Varginha UFO incident of 1996, which is Brazil's Roswell... possibly even bigger. There's an entire town full of witnesses whose stories remained consistent over the past 27 years. Many of the witnesses are still alive and continue to reside in Varginha. Allegedly, a police officer grabbed one and took it to a hospital, and later died under mysterious pretenses. Of course, the military (both Brazil's and the US) got involved and the town was quarantined by the military. If you haven't heard of this story, you can watch the 2022 documentary "Moment of Contact" by James Fox, which was made about the incident in which numerous witnesses were interviewed, and actual news footage and interviews taken from 1996 are included.
