My mother, Louise Newton-Kerr, share portions of her life when she lived in Dawson, GA; Terrell county, as a child.

She tells how the Ku Klux Klan demanded a black man from his home only to take him to the woods to beat him.
She goes on to talk about the everyday occurrences of her childhood; some will make you smile and others will make you sad.  She shares her memories of her mother, Mattie Ree Newton, and the untruths she was told regarding her mother's death.

Whoever's listening to this podcast, I hope you cherish the talks you have with your loved ones.  :-)
