God

[Laughter]

to get them started out but um yeah it's it's one of those that kids are going to be looking up to anyway with the screaming the names but they're shopping and having a shot and things he's got absolutely everything and so if I don't know telling file games did but he's showing exactly why we signed him and why I believe he's going to be a superstar and I'm so glad he's got number eight I know okay it's got number eight I think here to have that potential to be that sort of player but obviously just Knack at him in a bit of inconsistency but this guy I'm excited to be manager and no pressure on him but just just do his thing just do his thing and but he's just just a cool cucumber this guy he from the day he signed he's just like I'm about winning uh we might not be in Champions League I want to play in Champions League and we're gonna get there but you know I knew coming into this club that that I'm here to win trophies and he's about his business two men of the match Awards already out of four out of four played all all the the full minutes of all four matches so far in the two matches where we had red cards he did so much running and defending along with his offensive responsibility uh and I don't want to again you know uh punch down on a guy uh but it's completely night and day between what we had on that right center mid uh position for the last three four five years compared to what we have now it we've upgraded from uh a Civic to to an absolute just like Ferrari over here and it's just amazing he's just a total Workhorse does everything correctly uh from defense to to attacking links up play very well runs all over the pitch and covers for Trent so well as uh as well he he's just perfect for that position for us and we couldn't ask for anything more the only thing we can ask for is knock on wood of course is health for this guy just just absolutely tremendous and quite a bargain at 65 million pounds compared to what other squads I've been paying for for players of don't mention anything not mentioning names but uh wow uh and what a big big difference that that made yesterday as well uh Aston Villa again tough tough team they got stomped by New Castle to kick off the year two really good wins uh in the Premier League as well as in in Europa to advance uh through the Europa conference League and yesterday get scoring in three minutes in kind of you know kind of set the tempo there we're we're not that used to climbing out to the lead we're used to be going down one though aren't we damn it it is nice to seeing it I mean last season we got used it so much I just I I think I think I zoned out in the first half first half now of games it's like the match didn't start until we were down one mill that's that's what kind of felt like right you know that you know that Meme that GTA me where it's like oh [ __ ] here we go again that every single week last week last year that's and it's just nice it's refreshing and like you said about this other side thing and what we had last year again refreshing that's the word I think that's what the word is right now is refreshing and some some people say look are we overracking this guy because we've gone from like you said a Civic to a Lamborghini so the big jump is it really is it showing his ability because without desperate without starving for something that anything looks good if I'm gonna says but and I think it's the case with subscribe he is that guy I don't know if you agree about that that's what I think anyway no he's just an absolute monster he's just an absolute Beast uh obviously we don't watch as much moon this Liga as as we do the Premier League uh but you know uh he's just just amazing to me uh just the effort and the non-stop action of this guy is just just drives the team forward he came first in a lactate test in preseason and now that's it wasn't a false Crown whatsoever uh what what uh What uh usurper to the crown for James Milton that we've got now a guy with just can absolutely run all day all night and just the technique is just absolutely crazy with his little feet you know you've heard that story as far as his little feet as well right that uh he kind of kept uh kept wearing smaller shoes because players with smaller feet would have better better technique on the ball just just those kind of like the dedication this guy everything is about about Huawei grew up as well like his dad his dad taught him you know discipline for the team and the work ethic that is that time has become the player that he is today I think I think it I think summer size talk about people like summer slaying like people like Diaz and Nunes their upbringing alone tells you how much hard work you need to put into where he wants to become it's no good having talent it's not good having talent if you're not willing for the working and people like him are such do an absolute pleasure to have at the club because that Hardware shows on the pitch and that's all you want from it if it adds that Talent then look at look what happens look at the end result world class players

just just absolutely awesome so down scored the initial goal to make it one nil and we went up 2-0 uh after Darwin after a good uh good uh one two hit the post then they bounded in off of Maddie cash Darwin Nunez unlucky yesterday uh to not score actually he didn't provide an assist later on to Mo Salah but unlucky yesterday not to score but just the absolute Terror uh is he cementing his spot as the male Dawn Striker for us uh in your opinion Damon it's is it tricky one in it because Scott got millions are not wrong to not give his players if that makes sense I mean Gap changed the way it was last year last season I didn't get that capital in I don't think we'd have got anywhere you know those wins together because I know the trend will change and Chase Jones play this part as well but coming in was a huge huge difference so while still not this in that part I still want to play newness it's it's what a spot for Choice it's Madness that we have to choose between those two but yeah I think Nunes has done enough to keep it and I do think it needs to stop thinking too much about his finishes because I know he was unlucky yesterday against Villa but I think some of the things that they were Villa core again I mean he had a chance to do it on target at least and I don't think he had one I'm Target shot I've had about five or six shots

shot accuracy uh over four as far as On Target then hit the post ones and the crossbar once as well uh unlucky in that respect but just I think the dimension that he adds to the team just just I think it's right our highest level is going to be achieved with him as the lead Striker the attention that those center backs for pain were paying to him just opened up so much space for our Midfield as well as Mo and and uh Luis Diaz on the left uh and what what's jumping out to me more as well is all the running he's doing on the defensive end as well he's really pressing the ball he's running towards the goalkeeper not letting him sit on it running towards the center backs not letting him sit on it uh that option that we have now or just you know passing the ball over the top whether it's track Trent or when Virgil comes back because he's a little bit better at the long ball just that long ball over the top provides just this factor that those defense can't sleep at all there was quite a number of uh instances yesterday where we just pumped it up uh forwards and Darwin beat his man to to get his head on the ball either uh get possession or or get fouled in order to to witness the ball up the pitch there's always that there's always the outbound from Allison as well so now good Allison is out of his hands and kicking it out and it's not with Salah but now he's got Diaz and Nunes Diaz obviously missed quite a lot last season Diaz and Nunez onto those balls those defenses are going to be thinking hard and when summer slides coming for Midfield as well England McCallister's going to Midfield they're going to be wondering what what to do I mean I don't know about you but do you feel like the powers back the power especially in the whole team the power the energy I feel we're recapturing our Swagger we we've been missing it for the past year if not two years that that Swagger that the team knows hey it doesn't matter what happens we're coming out of here with points or victory and we're here to exert our will uh yesterday was the first time we saw that in quite some time and it's it's it's just incredible to see uh what excites me the most obviously goals gets the most uh most attention but what excites me the most about our Squad is when our press is working and we're just absolutely hounding the crap out of these themes that they don't know where to go next with the ball

numbers if we can again the energy I mean we're impress you would like to have like hand on fabino and that that they were they were fit and nothing happens not that close out speed that closeout speed is just crazy uh compared to what we had with a new one is as well just being able to close down the spot uh the the spaces uh another good shout yesterday Curtis Jones coming back after injury just fit right in seamlessly right into the team got thrown right into the starters with Max City back as the six our press was just right on it and as you were saying it's gonna lead to so many goals that's what happened yesterday we won we won uh a couple of corners and scored off of them based on just that gaining possession having them turn the ball over having them kick it out of bounds because they they just need to to stop us and I just think it's gonna we're really well set up not excluding injuries uh you know where I think we can definitely challenge for the premier league title this year just based off what we have currently on the squad just just absolutely awesome so Darwin uh again incredible I think he's uh done enough to stay stay in as a starter once we do come back from International break uh I I don't think I think we need his profile more than what we need got pulling for because we don't need someone to start dropping in when we have Dominic as well as Curtis Jones or it might be grabbing Birch would you picking two is the games on it would you pick and choose again say like we play a city or would you would you play Gap boy instead against I'd still go with Darwin uh for the for the for the reason that in those type of matches with with the heightened heightened pressure and and knowing that this might decide the season because either way whoever whoever gets the points It's Made A Difference so you know we felt fallen short one point against the city a couple of times already whoever comes away with a victory there might win the league if ideally we're we're in contention throughout when those City matches come it can lead to mistakes we've seen mistakes out of Man City before under pressure and I think Darwin just increases the likelihood of mistakes gokpo super skilled player absolute baller does everything pretty much very well but he doesn't have that that just danger factor that I feel Darwin has that speed that that just completely uh the circle

um you don't know what you can do he that's is it less predictable jackpot you reckon or I think God quotes a lot more safe than than Darwin is and again might be better you know coming off the bench in that respect you know making sure that we're putting away teams also and obviously they're gonna mix and match uh the the front three as we go along through the year uh you can wear folks out and you want to keep everybody happy as well but I think for sure in our high high leverage High most Prof highest profile matches I think Darwin should be the starter because I think he's he's the multiplier uh Jurgen referred to it yesterday and I know you meant that you brought up the out Ball but he said he has his two speedsters out on the pitch and he said uh Mo probably talked to Darwin if it's high headed over my way so they they can just just both uh break away and we saw that with the third goal on the corner

their chemistry is just improving uh you know on exponential basis in my opinion I think they're getting really really comfortable with each other MO is becoming more and more of a facilitator it's um it's over 10 plus matches now that he's had a goal or an assist in the Premier League then just absolutely incredible incredible work from him as well just King Mo is deservingly wearing their crown for us

no right and I know he was all positive did you see anything wrong in the game Natalia said I could you know I could go against that person I think yeah Villa wasn't as good as what should be do you think Villa not being as good as they were sort of covered over what could have gone wrong that makes sense if they were against a better Cyber Monday

um not not so much I I know that they did have a couple opportunities with mostly with Musa diabi uh running out of Defenders and one huge stop from Allison on Maddie cash to prevent the goal Target Tim Robson quite a bit another team's Target Trent but I thought the target Robinson they got past him quite easily at times and I think the double pivot had worked

I can't see working every single week that I think it worked I don't think it worked yesterday as well if Villa played well if that makes sense because they've got a strongman field they do it with uh Kamara Louise they were playing uh uh pretty much a three three in the back with wing backs with Vina and Maddie cash on on the uh the left and right side respectively they should have been way better uh defensively I felt like we carved right through them pretty easily uh in attack it almost felt like every time we pushed forward we were we we'd be able to score um so I not again it's a Sunday afternoon match I'm not I'm not sure why uh they wouldn't be up for uh a match at anfield especially with the expectations that have been placed on them uh with the their summer transfer window as well as how they closed out last year on their own I Emery so um we're on it but at the same time I think we have to give credits where credit's doing I think we we did very well in having them and forcing them to play our our ball uh I think we did shift around a little bit uh Trent wasn't moving forward as much I thought he played a little bit further back and therefore didn't have as much room to actually have to move out and cover when when there were Transitions and he pretty much played quarterback from that deeper position so he was more more of the loan six than I would say of a double pivot with Mac uh with McAllister and I want to give McAllister his flowers as well he's pretty much interchangeable in any position in that Midfield and does everything extremely well the level of composure and control there at Midfield has now again I don't want to reuse that term but it is night and day compared to last season uh as you know you know if you pass the ball to this guy he's gonna hold possession do something smart with it and get us moving forward and that that applies to almost all three of our midfielders that regardless of who's starting that that match or not and that to me is just wow like when when you're uh when you're in a hostage situation you end up you know loving the the hostage taker that's kind of what I felt like we were at and now we've been liberated and we live in this like land of footy freedom and it's just absolutely awesome we've knocked it out of the park with our two Midfield editions best parents have gone for me in kebabs to like yeah in five-star restaurants there's nothing wrong with Kebab sometimes by the way no I love it I I love a good donor uh yeah definitely but so the transfers the chances that we did make me and you know that wasn't enough in terms of the amount of transfers and now amount of money that we should be spending in the amount of back in that club should be getting but when we do the do the transfers the good transfers and that's that's the key thing about this is when people say like don't spend we don't want to spend silly but would never really spent silly but when we have spent good we have spent well anyway we've signed good players it's not like we're going out there for an 80 million Anthony

we wouldn't do them we're not stupid I mean for for our big money purchases we definitely bar Navigator and again that's different factors between injuries Etc that obviously it to the pan out as we wanted but apart from Nabi we've knocked out of the park with all of our big money signings Allison Van Dyke most Allah was in the big money signing but obviously a great one known as there's still time on that one yet no Nunez man united paid nunes's price for Erasmus Rasmus Holland with a broken back who scored seven goals in his career like unions uh absolutely exceeded and surpassed Jaden Sancho Anthony whoever else you want to like throw in throw into something else yes so I and again we see this all the time uh from the media and from outside fans as well they're very happy and very quick to try and take uh Liverpool down whether it's keep on hounding as far as those Mo Salah rumors hey he's leaving he's leaving he's leaving and Sky Sports almost giddying their excitement that he's gonna leave and and uh and kind of submarine our season uh and just with Darwin Nunez as well like I really don't understand all the vitriol and and all the desire to see him fail Darwin super exciting player great tooth you know a great haircut runs does a bunch of crazy [ __ ] like why wouldn't you want him to to succeed why would you want to call him a flop when he's not even a flop no you know the the production is there and people can see last season I mean last season he got thrown into a team that was doing a poor Midfield then we got Diaz and jotter injured and he didn't speak a word of English I mean and I think he still got a good output last season in terms of 16 goals all together obviously we would have won and it'll be a lot more clinical and we still do but that that that's gonna take some doing but overall I was I was I was pretty happy with what he did last season and this year I think he's just going to take a step up but you know you say his page might might not be written yet but so far so good right we know he's not an absolute mess that we regret signing him and you know he's on the bench or not playing or not even on the squad like some of our some of those Chelsea signings right who haven't even made a match today [Music] but yeah we've absolutely knocked it out of the park for with all of our big money signings and for our medium signings where we've just done at remarkably well as well McAllister 35 mil you agreed to on Friday deadline on transfer deadline day into Ryan Graven Birch and of course Dominic supposedly just looking like an absolute bargain at 65 million pounds so definitely yeah

oh yes I almost forgot about him though and then though again you know came in yesterday and and saw the game out as well clap clap blue to him also that that they've spoken with him and and work with him on being a little bit calmer into the tackle and he said he was really pleased with how he performed as well um you know when you when you come into the match and then you complete 100 of your passes he was six of six for patch uh passing out of seven touches made one recovery and that's in around three minutes played so you know that that's that's ideally his role going forward do you think where the way cops played in now he watched him against Charlie where he played in last week where he brought him off quite early declared him yesterday for three minutes do you think that puts the bed then the three parts and the rumors around being that is you the main priority six is gonna be the Fabian new replacements I don't think you were in the top 10 list of cdm's that club was even looking at and people are saying now well clubs one I've seen every day like perhaps wanted to go back to that famous field where Club one to number six Club needed number six cop still needs a number six now if you didn't want the number six you wouldn't have gone for Lobby I wouldn't have gone for Cascade the only reason why I didn't get a number six is because we didn't want to pale that's the simple reason and well again well this is the way I kind of have to look at a demo we can't out on one hand you know say what a great deal Liverpool did getting McAllister for 35 Dominic for 65 grabbing Birch for 35 and then be upset we didn't pay 110 for Moises kaisero

when we pay what we value so for example we value Darwin at that price because he's worth it then and he's going to be worth more with our coaching and our structure he's going to be worth more than that Allison no doubt about it we thought he was worth that price Virgil Van Dyke no doubt about it we thought it was worth that price and and they met they met that price and valuation I think with again the Saudi League uh the money being thrown around there Chelsea man united obviously Man City uh being able to pay higher fees as well as offer higher higher contracts to these players I think that just kind of put certain certain guys that we know hey you know they they're not worth it they're not worth it like to spend that much so I think uh Endo was probably not our number one number two and number three or even fourth Target to come into the starting lineup I think he was a Target that they knew hey this is a player who can't perform might not be our starter but can start for us if needed and it's we need another the defensive midfielder on the squad because we didn't end up getting I think what was it 35 million Fender was it in the end does it rather than that well for Endo we pay it at that 16 or something like that was it that expensive well that's quite expensive because that's right is it again this Market is just just been asking if you think about it though man if we were literally three four or five million shot of labia is it worth taking that risk and not getting in for three five five million more and then I'm to go for like a panic style Ender knowing that lab is gonna be there for the next I think they need to read I know I know why they look at the value because of FSG you've got to look at a value because that's they're giving you a certain budget but I think we need to re-evaluate value because what and what lovely would have Givens on the pitch 19 years old throughout five six seven eight years would have been made up for the money that prepared for me he's not 50 million I mean if you look if we went back back in time and looked at the Alison password those us fans would say that you know a bit overpaid they aren't we first Keeper look at that Van Dyke would have said we're over there for that no one has said I think Van Dyke was a game changer well thank him I knew it was good again but again they were ready to meet that price and did pay it so they valued him at that price

I uh 99 out of 100 I I'd err on who they brought in with the exception of obviously our our deadline kind of disasters that we've done whether it be ozan khabac then Davies uh Arthur last season when we've you know either skipped out on the player or gone full bore and signed that player we've been pretty much on on the ball you know so if we decided not to pay that for him you know obviously uh he he is a talent had a had a pretty good season last year with South with Southampton they obviously got relegated so and I didn't do enough there uh overall as a squad and now after his move to Chelsea he hasn't even made a match today Squad in the box with with uh you know a serious face on and no idea when he's gonna be gonna come into the squad and Chelsea just keeps signing guys so again that it could have been a multiple uh multiple factors there not just the the fee but you know what was he asking for in salary where was ages that's asking for as well and now it's come out that his agent pushed them to go to Chelsea because it was a higher fee longer contract so another talk about agent fees being kept so if that was I think that would change football because I think agents are taking over where where to see these people go Pete place going and I think I think the ruining careers I think the billion careers I mean if they're just following the money obviously they didn't attack them and they're going to think about their own sales but these footballers careers are only 20 years

to be quite honest that's a long career for teams it says it's a small career for such a young age and yes money is going to set them up for life but as a footballer you you grow up wanting to win and playing for the best and playing in the best you know you dream of playing Champions League you're dreaming winning the FA Cup between him winning the title obviously there's going to be greed around and certain players will go for greed I mean it's quite rare these days that you don't get non-gritty players but you know Ramos are just signed for severe which was unbelievable because he turned down he turned outside that's right a big big money is right this is awesome he went back to Sevilla at this exactly yeah sir I just think it depends on the players and the people around them the people around them are so important and the Agents have a lot to answer for what they're doing so so going you know building on your point there uh as you know Liverpool do a lot of homework before they sign a player they do a lot of homework background checks they meet with the player ideally meet with the family that's where the first pretty much level of of gauging how the how they're going to turn out and who the who this who this player is uh begins and Club has a straight up know no no DH policy and you know you can fill in the blank as far as what the age stands for but he has a no DH policy as far as the locker room is concerned so if we at the end decided hey the valuation isn't what they're asking for it doesn't meet what we think that player is worth it and be this player a you know for factors or otherwise uh you know for whatever factors might not be the best best fit into this locker room then I I'd rather I'd rather era on on Jurgen klopp's side uh than not you know so that yeah and that deal didn't happen so now you know unfortunately I just got to think what what can we do moving forward and and this is our team now from here until until January so I mean it says lost or anything it says yeah for one thousand percent

as well I think Lobby would have been an absolute starter but I think he'd been in a fan favorite and 19 years old but I think we'll find somebody we'll we'll have somebody lined up or find somebody as well I think we'll miss the daddy I think was the the first one we should have signed uh apart from McAllister because McAllister we pretty much had had settled before the season ended and Ugarte was on the Block and obviously for the release Clause PSG jumped on that early he's been a monster already in league on and but you know what can we do this is our Squad now and then this is a squad that won three nil yesterday and looked down as we could in a long long long long long long time and we have played Chelsea in Newcastle away Villa um and that that free tough came out the way already yep Chelsea uh a draw which everybody could look at it and Miss opportunity especially how they perform in the subsequent weeks uh losing this weekend to Nottingham Forest um and then Newcastle or we we squeaked that one out

and that that to me uh that Newcastle win might be a again an unfortunate now that we have the international break coming kind of killing our momentum but uh that Newcastle win just I think just absolutely lifted everyone and uh and and and we'll see we'll see this this team just continue jolly and continue kicking some butt uh as far as yesterday though all the signs that were done though like he grabbing back here it's I think apart from Ender those other three I think they're all big game changers if it is in terms of this season and they all could win a game by themselves I think they're that good which one we have to see Ryan's though we got to see Ryan the talent is there obviously I just I don't think is it

top 10 Targets in January which was my number eight I think he was in there so you know I'm excited about this guy so I think he will be best but who do you think will be the best out of those three uh out of our three signings oh and uh he's gonna put indoors in there uh I wouldn't put Endo in there just because I think Endo was signed as a blue guy like a good guy you need blue guys on the squad you need a guy uh again not gonna complain about his role I don't think he's you know we had uh who we we had in that role as our you know uh you know uh lower tournament uh starter Etc uh I don't think enlo's gonna complain about if if the majority of the time he spent on the pitch to him this is like this is awesome I'm in the Premier League I toiled away building up my career and ended up captaining captaining uh a Bundesliga Squad which is pretty remarkable for a Japanese International to be captaining a German Squad and and obviously he's the captain for the Japan national team so I think you know he's just gonna be super happy to you know perform in whatever role Jurgen wants that wants him to perform I think the highest ceiling for us is Dominic supposedly I think that's that's the player with the highest ceiling he has all the tools in his locker to do everything on the pitch and including scoring goals and setting up goals and which is again what brings the most eyeballs and most attention uh on a player but uh again the defensive work that he does is just just remarkable so he's all action and I think obviously he's the most spectacular of our of our three signings McAllister kind of goes unnoticed there's that very quiet player but he's just there in the right spot the majority of the time knows exactly what to do with the ball um very secure keeps keeps the team ticking and just super super smart and intelligent player and that's just just great to have on the squad it's just we really knocked it out of the park with those two and once we have Ryan integrated and into the squad I'm excited to see how he's utilized and and how he performs as well but again how can we complain about a 21 year old Dutch uh player who has all the tools as well to be to be quite a handful uh for for the Premier League uh for the Premier League teams to deal with so I'm very excited uh to see what coffee tournaments are is

yeah yeah is it a different level or not in it I think a little bit different level and his game absolute game judges is Joe Addis because I don't want to say it but you know he's Jared desk and obviously Joe has like the best little player of all time sir this guy that's just that's the ceiling I'm putting him up at you know can I meet at ceiling he could do if he really if he really grinds down and hits it uh speaking of European transfers speaking of Dutch transfers um been at a new podcast being in our new you'll never talk a lot about because our first episode well I thought I'll give something for you just something different as well just in between the madness in between the news between the transfers between the goals in between my night and losing Liverpool winning give it something a little bit different a little bit of like maybe a game or something like that this week we're gonna do a top five me and Megan are going to be picking our top five European signings uh I don't know we're not we're going to be picking our top five clock signings yep so we're gonna come up with some names we're going to throw some names out if you're listening you know if you agree with us on that please let us knows in the reviews and we're ranking on order of importance that's where the argument comes into play who what do you value most see if any little English can get in there as well are there potential to get in there are they in there already so should we stop I'm gonna write it down here Vega I'm gonna start with should we start with number one because I think it's time for number one's easier then going back with our Journal start with five uh I say start with five and now I have to do some mathematics here yeah that's what I'm saying you've got to work out I think top three is nailed on but yes it's just the order that we kind of have to figure out so the other names out there you're talking like Robertson fabinia Bobby

was here before you're good he lost yeah yes he was better money came in so man is probably top five on it

so I would say top five spot fabino in there as well just because I think fabini was a game changer yeah

no offensive rubber but I think you've probably performed last two seasons last two three seasons it might be still up there's a shout

all right so for my fifth Choice uh I'm going to go with

Andy Robertson

wow

so you're leaving Andrew Robertson Andy Robertson is going to go down as after Trent probably the second highest uh assister from a defensive position he's definitely definitely top six I think he just misses out for me

fiery leader always ready to do whatever is needed for the team uh always has your back on the pitch is hilarious when we signed Ryan gravenberg did you catch his quip yeah with uh Virgil and Cody there finally we signed a good Dutch Dutch that's great you know that's pretty funny that that's just I mean look he's a player that makes a team a team you know what I mean you need guys like that in order for a team to be a team you have these other squads that just get thrown together player here player from here player from here and and supremely talented on the individual basis these guys but they're not a team Andy Robertson is what allows us along with other guys obviously to to make it that much easier to become a team I think I just I just I have for being a fifth just because he allowed us to play where we did I don't think we'd be able to press without fabini over the way we did I think he was he was an Allison sort of Van Dyke sort of signing who that game changer Robertson I'm not I'm gonna give his pizzas he was the best life back in the world and probably he's up there with like in the top three left back to the premier league history obviously actually called I have forbido fourth I'm trying to think you're missing out yeah yeah

oh [ __ ] you must be missing mine out so I'm gonna put five minutes

I'll put my life off I put my life I might have screwed myself I might have screwed myself but again I'm going off year years here and years to come so as far as rating the uh the magnitude of the signing I don't think we went out I I think fabinho allowed Genie to become the best Genie and allow Henderson to hold on to his job for this long [Laughter] yeah because if fabino wasn't there I think we probably would have seen Henderson leave two two or three years ago definitely he would have been found out sooner so imagine just smiling I think he just I think that season but then the season were on the Premier League I think he was just unbelievable I think he was one of the main reasons why wouldn't the family that scene they got some let some let goals in there I just think you're just you're just a different player a planet like James Edmond says the best player in the world at the time I mean it could have been it could have been that's how good he was so man I think that yeah the top three of the top three I think were the wheel on top three being Van Dyke Allison and seller is it in the other Van Dyke third Allison second Salah first order

yes and and again it's by the slimmest of margins for for Monday I'll have to put him six for me so yeah uh just uh just to get money's name in there and Genie would be probably seventh because Genie was just absolutely awesome

yeah yeah apology so uh yes I'd agree on that just because uh Virgil imperious completely made that backline what it was um regardless of who who he was partnered up with uh for for those first couple of Seasons now needs a little bit more assistance and and covering um do you think he'd be a book balance or not because the reason I would have Allison and then Muhammad is we lost the whole unfortunately we have we lost a whole full year of Virgil and Allison and Salah have pretty much not missed uh missed many matches at all whatsoever and they have my Spinners yeah consistent as the sunrise so yeah and and again this is again you're arguing against three of arguably the top players in their respective positions Allison you can say he's the number one goalkeeper in the world Virgil even even now you could say he might be the number one Center back in the whole world and Muhammad Salah please name me a better right-winger yeah and they don't all three of them I don't think get enough get enough praise for the players they were and the players they currently are so that that would be my order so I I'd go so just to recap there who was my fifth my fifth was Andy yeah yeah uh third out uh third Van Dyke second Allison and number one Mohamed Salah yeah and mine was I had this is rubber so yeah moving on and going forward going forward into coming up this week is the international break yes I know in Castle Bay it's a bar in time but you've got the podcast to listen to if you want to listen to it anyway so keep it keep keep following us and keep yeah whatever notifications on your Spotify whatever you want to whatever audio device you're using makes you listen to us and because it keeps us

into a season it's just ridiculous anyway but going forward the national International break we've got um Europa League

fixture list coming up there you go got last lens away in the Europe League got walls uh the walls away in his family get the hotel kickoff we have a supremely busy September even when you when you include the international break in there so uh we we return back to action on Saturday September 16th uh 7 30 A.M kickoff for my for me over here on the Eastern Seaboard but uh for you guys over there 12 38 uh 12 30 P kickoff against wolves wolves a little um a little unfortunate obviously uh beginning of the uh first match of the year they they lost out on the draw when uh the referees again gave men United the benefit uh but uh they're a team a little bit in flux they just sold now Matthias Nunez over to a man city um so we'll see what kind of setup they're coming in with uh I think we definitely can take uh take a win there we're at wolves uh that day but that'd be a nice nice away win uh coming back from the break but five days later that's when we we go against uh lask did you just say last last or do we uh I said last bladens that's why I thought I always tell them uh every time I look at it uh I I it jumps out to me as Lasik which is the eye surgery the corrective eye surgery uh laser eye surgery that you can have so uh it always throws me it's been throwing me for a loop every time I look at the upcoming schedule so we have uh Alaska on the 21st then we're going against the Hammers on September 24th West Ham is just looking absolutely awesome they sold rice and and uh and and bet on these new signings whatever I mean everyone's following the FSG model they're selling their best player and going for things uh continue obviously we still continue but elsewhere and Harry Kane's gone from Tottenham Tottenham looking better now as well but yeah after after uh after the West hand match on the 24th two days later we go against uh Lester in in the efl cup and then we close out September against the Spurs so that's one two three four five matches in 15 days so a match pretty much every three days and uh definitely our our depth and ability to withstand injury is going to be tested and we're already feeling a little bit of an entry knock there Trek Alexander Arnold had a uh come out of yesterday's match a little bit early with uh issues with this hamstring uh they're still waiting on scans to determine the level of severity there uh he was picked as a midfielder to join the English national team on their International break well what'd you think of that is is that moving forward do you think that's it he's completely out of the running for a right-back position for the England squad and he's just a midfielder for them under South Gate

because I've said it before the level that you play against England that you play against the Premier League is completely different you can probably works in Midfield in England because the playlist of Estonia to play in San Marina you know the toughest teams are playing especially the qualifying groups I took his team to playing what is possibly something like Poland in terms of qualifying groups uh I think Trent at Midfield works I think Trump can be Midfield in the future but it needs in these years of practice and midfield's it's a completely different mindset to um back and defense because if you think that defend defense and he's got no chance in Midfield because you need to be on it defended defensively and if you if you if you create gaps in materials it's worse than creating gaps of right back if I'm honest because at least right back it's hard to do is cross it in create gaps in Midfield they're on they could have two free far on one they're running around at the at the center back are running right at the goalie after a couple passes for sure so I think I think it can be a midfielder it could be me filled with England now just because again the the level of players they're playing against level teams are playing against but liftball I think club's going right if we can get a number six whether it be January or next year

because it also gives him freedom but if you put him in Midfield now I think he could be my Max easily I think he's not gonna get the whole pitch view that he needs coming from that position he can choose he could pick and choose when he goes forward and when he doesn't exactly as Midfield like she can't can't leave you're nailed on and that responsibility to to cover that area and

in the Premier League and I'm not saying that's a bad thing because I was I'm not saying it's not disciplined but it doesn't allow him to be the player that he is in the creative spot that he is because it needs Freedom at times you see him on the left back position he won't do that in the Midfield because Club is like why are you leaving that position and yesterday uh if I felt like he was sitting a little bit deeper I I didn't feel it was so much of a a double pivot as him playing more of of that lone uh Center uh Center uh mid uh mid-roll and he was just able to pretty much carve out Aston Villa yesterday so I think I think that's what you need to do is pick and choose the games he does start going forward a bit more often but I guess that's civilian not number two ducks they've got some good wins and again throughout the match you could you can just you know mix it up as well you know he keep them all keep them on their toes and offer them different looks uh and that's one thing definitely to be excited about uh not only within our starters but the options that we have Off the Bench allow us to kind of change change tactics change formations and change modes of of uh of attacking the other team so very very exciting things uh uh you couldn't ask for a better way to to go on break than a three mil Victory so thank you for everyone listening to today's podcast um this is our episode one like I said earlier episode one of the you'll never talk alone podcast please like subscribe and leave a review to the podcast whether you like it or not leave whatever you do one star two thousand to five thousand five stars would be nice five stars would definitely be nice our all our podcasts are available on every single audio platform from Spotify to Apple music and just don't don't forget events do not forget you'll never talk alone
