Really appreciate the support. Keep up the awesome feedback. And really appreciate any ratings that you'd like to do out there. But those that you are the first time a listener, Thank you. And welcome for those that have listens. You know what time it is? It's quote time today we're gonna be covering the power of simplicity and the quote that I found that I just really, really love is this Simplicity boils down to two steps. Identified the essential and eliminate the rest. I think about that. It's really pretty simple, right? Ha. There's that word, but it iss it's taking what you need or what it's necessary, essential and living in those things that are not how many times, whether it's at work, whether it's in our personal lives, wherever it might be, do we find ourselves giving so deep into the weeds or adding so many different complexities and things that don't really matter. They're not actually essential to the goal that we're trying to get through so simplicity if we break it down into the word structure of the definition. Obviously it's derived from simple. But since that simplicity really means the quality or condition of being easy to understand or do, it's easy to understand or do most times in anything that we're doing. We're usually seeking for someone to understand something or were asking someone to do something. So this simpler. The simplicity brought to the equation, the higher the likelihood, in my opinion, that they're going to be able to a complete what that ask ISS. I think all of us, myself included, have a funny way of always thinking Maur or needing much, much. Much is a way to get more accomplishing to get things done faster and better. I believe that's the case. I've been learning that life lesson, a CZ we've scaled here it CBT We've definitely found that always just throwing more people at a problem or an opportunity is absolutely not always going to ensure we get it done faster or better yet, upon my white board. Right now, that simple always wins. We can bring it on down into the simple ask or what is essential to getting something accomplished or to get into something to be understood, the higher the likelihood we're going to get it done. And so one of the exercise that I've been working really hard on lately that I love for us to think about is the next time we're in a role. And again, that's good personal. This could be at work, whatever might be. We're going to make it ask of someone, or you want to get something done. Can you describe in one sentence? What that alchemists? What is the one thing that you want to get done? Don't have to go into the great to tell us just can you yourself simply describe what you're asking ISS? That's a lot harder than you think of this. And if you can't do that, I think about how you expect or why would you put expectations on others, devote a fully grasp and understand what you're asking is and to be able to take that on if you cannot bring it down into a sentence description off. What that need is, I think you're probably adding too many things. I think you need to eliminate some stuff. You got too much of the rest with us, and you're not actually getting down that essential. And that essential nous is really the core of what it is do you want to accomplish, and most a time. When we come up with an idea, it's right there at the starting point. The idea is solved. Now we can work through some different things, but back to the idea that you're trying to get done. It's there. Then once it's there, we have a funny way of throwing tons and tons and tons of stuff on top of it, even though we don't have to. But we feel like using a business is an idea. What? I got to get a Web page. I've got to make some advertising 1/2 difficult logo. I've got to have to do that. You know, if you got a great business, it's great business. Now, if you need more people know about that business, Okay. Well, then how we gonna do that? What's the simplest way to do that? But why do you go all the way down the road to the end even before you start? Why do you lose sight of the essential nous of what it's necessary to get something done efficiently and effectively. I think it's just us as humans we just loved stack stuff on. But one of the things I think would be really powerful you to try on the next few weeks is when you're again at work, at home, wherever it might be. When you're trying to get something accomplished is the thing that you're trying to get accomplished, being able to be described by you to someone in a sentence or less. Is it a simple ask? And the great thing about asks in simplicities, You can stack on top of them. That doesn't mean that we can't take a really complex thing and figure it all out. All I'm simply saying is why we have sold everything about the complexity right at the start. Why can't we go into small steps and then build upon those? You know there's a lot of great project management out there around agile versus waterfall, meaning we're taking the aschen are breaking up into small things are small sprints. If you're looking at scrum, did then accomplish the bigger task, but it helps us learn quickly. It helps us get things out faster. But that simplicity thing is really, really important, you know, simplicity. Also, in my opinion, when it's understood her someone grasp it, it could move it to get doing. You know, moving is living. I mean, that is kind of what it's all about. In my opinion, you gotta be in action oriented. You got to get things done when someone is sitting in pondering and can't figure out what you're asking. Is there not moving? They're not getting things done. They're getting frustrated and you don't probably have a great day and I don't expect us all to have awesome days always. But I do think in the way in which we ask of things and things that we want to get accomplished. If we spent more time getting rid of the rest and focusing on the essential, I think we would surprise ourselves with how much we get accomplished, and then how much more things wouldn't get done after we've got that one key thing done first. So again, I think it's incredibly important for you to really think through all the ass and all the things that you want to get done first and foremost you to describe the sentence. You can't break it up once you've broken it up. Take those sentences and guess what? Make a paragraph it on. Lee start writing. The second sentence after the first sentence has been complete, because there might be a likelihood that your second sentence might be different based on what you've learned from the 1st 1 you wrote. But simplicity does win. In my opinion. It can get things done better. It can get things done accomplished faster, but we have to have the discipline to eliminate the rest and focus on the essential. So let's let symphonies shine through. Let's boil it down to those two steps. Let's identify, Let's eliminate and let's make it a great day. Thank you for listening. I appreciate it. And for those of you that are tuning in on a Friday, I hope you've a great weekend
