Yep. And then we're gonna go right into Spider-Man Du War, episodes one and two. Yep. And then we're gonna do Avatar, the last airbender as the last one. So Mandalorian scores. No. Um uh so scores for TV shows. For those of you that don't know, scores for our TV shows are out of five stars. Movies are always out of ten. When we get to the end of the series, we will grade the series out of ten as a whole. Yeah. But for right now, first episode for Spider-Man Duar for me. Five.

The first episode for Spider-Man Duar was a very solid beginning. I actually enjoyed the black and white. Yeah, me too. Me too, yeah. I I I I know it comes in color, but for me, being that it's a new war, I think black and white fits the aesthetics more. It it's it's gotta be black and white, you know? That's how the comic book and the video games are. Oh, yeah, video games, yeah. Yeah, they're written more for black and white than they are for color. So it just fits the aesthetic for a new war. But I like Nicolas Cage. I liked him when he was in Spider-Sperse. Yeah, Spider-Verse. And uh I think he was in the second movie too. Yeah, I like his.

Yeah, they went to the yeah in the cartoon. Yeah, in the cartoon, APA gets captured before they ever go to the serpent's path. The reason why they're doing it they're doing it out of order is again, they're not trying to do the cartoon over again. Yeah, they're trying to do a different story. Whether you like it or not, that's what they're doing. And I don't hate the serpent's path because to me it seems like they've switched the canon or the you know, the canyon story for the serpent's path.

And it's dumb because it's like, no, the cartoon, like I think, I think that cheapens the cartoon if you make it exactly like the cartoon.

I do agree with him that like, yes, they had APA, they could have ridden Oppa over the serpent's path. They didn't really need to walk the serpent's path. But I also understand that I think Oppa's path was pretty full. And to be fair, the tight nick also, I mean, well, yeah, and I agree, right? If if I'm guessing they're being chased by the Fire Nation, so I don't know if they had enough time to fly Apple over and over and then back.

This saddle looked pretty full in the in the live action. Yeah, yeah, what we saw. But again, I I again I digress. I don't know, because like they're they're they're um what would you say? They're commute doesn't seem to be that their party doesn't seem to be at times it doesn't seem to be very big, and then there are moments where it's you think yeah, when you take an arrow shot, they're like, oh shit. It's pretty big.

So I don't know like the thing about it. I can't really like try to think of one more story beat. I mean, to be honest with you, the one thing I would say is like with the Boomy thing. I remember in uh the first in the cartoon, Boomy was in a middle or in a steel box in the first cartoon. Coffin, I think. Yeah, yeah, in a coffin. So it they changed it a little bit where he's in his throne room and he is just kind of like so. I will say I prefer the cartoon's version a little bit because he is actually imprisoned. Yeah, he's actually imprisoned. It's something that Earthbenders shouldn't be able to bend out of. So I give the cartoon credit for that. Whereas it just seems like he's not caring in the show. So there I'll give the cartoonist credit. Again, the cartoon is always gonna be better. But I disagree with the one person I saw on on uh on a social media. He called it, he says it's exactly like the M. Night Shyamalan.

Yeah, I'll be behind you. Yeah. Episode two of Avatar Last Airbender, which is the Zuko Alone story arc.

Yeah, they've decided to just combine them as one family unit, but they took the parents out because they're looking for the oldest son. Yeah. I enjoyed. I I had a feeling that I had a feeling she was the one with the birds when we first met her. Because it's like it made sense. Um I kind of liked Zuko in this. I really enjoyed it.

Um I like that they we got a flashback to mom. Well, we we were we knew we were gonna get the flashbacks, yeah.

Yeah, but I like how they changed certain things in that in the flashbacks. And Zuko, like, he's doing a great job at because the cartoon Zuko, he was very angry, he was very you know upset. And this one He's just conflicted. Yeah, he's very conflicted. He doesn't know what he wants to do. He's it's sort of um, it's sort of like he's being torn because his mom and his and Iroh see the good in him. They see like that they're like they're trying to foster that goodness. Yeah, and then like he's being torn from the fire, like the fire lord is trying to pull him towards the dark side along with his sister. Yeah.

Yeah, I think I think he's trying to make Ozuko um um Ozai. I feel like he's trying to make the Ozuko into uh into um his his heir, I think.

Well he wants Zuko to be his heir from the or at least that's how it's being portrayed right now in the show. He he's leaning more towards Zuko being the heir than Azula.

It seems like it's kind of weird because in the cartoon, Azula was his favorite in the cartoon, but in this one, it almost seems like Zuko is his favorite, and he's annoyed that Zuko is not living up to potential. Yeah, it's not living up to his potential.

Yeah, that's why, like, I'm thinking Ozai is becoming more rounded as a character, and why we're not just hating him to hate him right now. We were actually enjoying watching him on screen.

Like well, because like again, um to to to backtrack a little bit during the flashbacks, um, it seems like they've changed it a little bit. Remember in the cartoon, Azula and Zuko go to see um, they kind of sneak into the into the uh planning with their father and uh Fire Lord Azulan Azulan. And Azulan basically lashes out at Ozai for even for even insinuating that Ozai should be the next Fire Lord because he has heirs, and Iroh just lost his lost his birthright. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, and then like they they witnessed that Azulan's like, you should know the same as Iroh. Yeah, and basically, like they're gonna kill Zuko. Yeah, that's what that's what Azula says. Like they're gonna kill you. Yeah, like well, I thought but they were actually well no, they actually weren't gonna kill Zuko. But playing, but in the in the live action, it seems like Zuko witnesses uh Ozai and his mom. I thought he witnesses his father beating his mother. Yeah, I think it's also what he sees, yeah. And and that's what enrages him to beat up the earth king. Like he's that's why he's so protective of the get of the the can against the corrupt uh and the woman, like, and that stuff, but that that he sees parts of I think I don't think he sees parts of himself, he just sees people who are being taken advantage of.

He doesn't like that, which is again it's it's that duality in Zuko that he has the good and then he also has the bad, and he can't decide which to follow.
