SPEAKER_00Skibbity toilet.
SPEAKER_02Oh god.
SPEAKER_05You suck. You do suck. You suck. Alright, so we're 6'7. Shut up. Yeah, why don't you do 6'7?
SPEAKER_03I still understand that joke.
SPEAKER_02Neither do I.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Look like you're drumming someone's bones.
SPEAKER_00Something the kids say these days.
SPEAKER_02I'll prefer 6'9.
SPEAKER_03I see why. Anyway. So.
SPEAKER_02So anyway, so back to the thing. So we're gonna we're gonna all see the Odyssey. We're seeing it tomorrow. Yeah. Sargon's seeing tonight. We're gonna give our prediction scores for the Odyssey. I'll s I'll start. Um, prediction score. Well, it's a Christopher Nolan movie, so I'm gonna be honest with you. It's a disappointment if it's an eight. Oh, yeah. I feel like Christopher Nolan has done a lot of good movies that have been high scores, so if it's an eight, that's a disappointment. So I'll go nine. That's my prediction.
SPEAKER_03Well, I got low expectations.
SPEAKER_02So that means it's like so.
SPEAKER_03Anyhow.
SPEAKER_02Okay. Charms?
SPEAKER_00Uh nine out of ten for me, film of the year.
SPEAKER_02Okay. Okay. Well, I'll show your prediction. You're you're giving me a ten.
SPEAKER_05Prediction score.
SPEAKER_02It's Christopher Nolan. So you're giving me a ten. Well, you might be the most disappointed of all.
SPEAKER_05I'm Ike. Well, I'm an ackey. Who knows?
SPEAKER_03Well, well, you know, um, sometimes um um writers or directors, um he might um mess up, but it's it again because Nolan.
SPEAKER_02So you always give Nolan a grace period. Yeah, yeah. He's you give him a grace period. That's why I said if it it I that's why I said it's a disappointment if it's an eight. I can't imagine it not being at least eight level, you know, like an eight, you know. But I could I swear, but if it goes past an eight, then it then it's in like shit.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Like pissed off territory, but we'll see. All right, let's move on to I'm gonna say the Avatar Last Airbender's just before the Red Story. So we'll go into we just saw the Batman Cape Crusade.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, um what's it? Season two or two whole trailer which uh comes out on what July 31st.
SPEAKER_02So we're close to that, releasing. Um so far, it seems like the Riddler is gonna be the main villain in this season, which is interesting because they didn't have in the first season, they didn't really have a villain in the first season. They kind of they kind of went Batman the anime series route.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but they um it was like a yeah, but like like each episode has a bad guy.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, each episode has a bad guy. In this one, it seems like at least from the trailer, the Riddler is going to be the focal point for the season. That doesn't mean that every there won't be standout episodes for certain villains and the joker reveal at the end. Well, yeah, that's what I'm saying. Yeah, but it seems like they're pushing the Riddler to be the main bad. Or it's just one episode.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I think it might be just one episode for this one.
SPEAKER_03Well, they might they might um adapt what the um the Joker versus Riddler um story arc in the comics or something. Well it seems that that's probably what they're gonna hit at.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but we'll we'll s well again we'll see. It's it's always uh we'll see. Yeah on a show like this.
SPEAKER_03So what is shot you think about the last um season?
SPEAKER_02I thought it was okay. Well, you hated it because Penguin was a girl.
SPEAKER_03Oh me?
SPEAKER_02No, him.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Well well that and um too many um historical inaccuracies, you know?
SPEAKER_02Like well, I mean it's there wasn't a lot of historical inaccuracies. I mean, there was like it's 2D. Let's be honest here, Jim Gordon was black.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, it made no sense, yeah.
SPEAKER_02And in the like lesbians in the in public, I mean I mean that's why I'm saying he's so my historical inaccuracy. I always my my mindset's always this is a different time period, this is a different 1940s that they're going for. A different universe, yeah, different universe. Same with Batman the Animated Series, it was a different universe because like there were so many like future tech with ancient tech. Yeah. So it it's just that's it. So it's once you once you uh move past that, it's it and you kind of like separate it from the other Batman, you know, mythos, you can kind of enjoy it for what it is, but still, like I don't really remember much from season one because season one was a long time ago. Yeah, that they did season two this long, like it's been that long since season one. Like what two years or three years? It's been almost three years. I think, right? Three years, yeah. Was it the last time? So like it's been a long time since they've done a Batman or a cartoon. Also, I'm more I'm more interested in Batman, um, absolute Batman. That that TV series coming out because that to me seems to be the more excited one.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, has more fanfare and more muscle.
SPEAKER_02True. That has more fanfare. So I I can see why DC's not really pushing this. Because I haven't heard anything about a season two until just now of Krusader, just because we just saw it. So I don't know if DC is even pushing this show. Seems like they're kind of fighting it. Why not? Because it seems like they're hiding it, because it's on what prime? It's on Prime. Yeah, it seems like they're hiding it for some. And I don't think I think they I think they I think DC figured out that with season one, like the disappointment of season one, which I don't really see as a disappointment.
SPEAKER_05It's just it wasn't the great, it was it was blah.
SPEAKER_02It was like it was very meh, because there were certain episodes that were standing out, and then there were certain episodes that were kind of like meh.
SPEAKER_03Well, like the villain, um uh what's his name? Um um he makes uh what sound effects? Like oh yeah, that one.
SPEAKER_02I've I forgot his name.
SPEAKER_03Uh oh, Amatopeia. Well, that was he in the show.
SPEAKER_02You have to ask. You you would have to ask um Tim Burton and uh Bruce or Tim or something like that. Yeah, yeah. No, not Bruce Tim. It was um what was uh what's that director's name? Abrams? Yeah, Abrams. You have to ask Abrams or Bruce Tim.
SPEAKER_03Pew like he just he he talks in like sound effects.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I didn't I didn't particularly care for him. I don't know. The only one the only standout episode was the Catwoman episode and then the ghost episode.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, those were both good.
SPEAKER_02Oh my god. Those were standouts.
SPEAKER_03Like Hattleman was kind of um apathetic in this one. What do you think?
SPEAKER_05I mean, that's all I remember really, because I watched I watched I like the um the one we got to introduce her to Harley Quinn.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but to get introduced to Harley Quinn first, yeah. That's stupid. Yeah. Like Joker should be the one introducing like Joker should be the one involved in her creation. That's what that I think that's the episode that rubbed me the wrong way because it was like, no, Joker should it it she her her origin story should always be tied to the Joker. I agree.
SPEAKER_03But no, the um these writers the one to make her her own person, I guess.
SPEAKER_02Bruce Tim mostly, because Bruce Tim wants to fuck her.
SPEAKER_03Okay, but Tim is just uh a horny Well yeah, no, he's a horny bastard.
SPEAKER_02Have you seen his have you seen his pinups of the artwork for those girls that he's drawn? Especially the batgirl, uh it's see now he I don't like Bruce Tim because of that. The the Batman Batgirl relationship that they that they made, that's disgusting in my personality. Bruce what?
SPEAKER_05Bruce What Bruce Tim? Tim T-I-M-I-N-M.
SPEAKER_02I love his art. The artwork is fun, it's just his direction is just Well, he's a horny bastard. Cringy. Oh yeah, it's it's it's a horny dude. That's what it's like. Well um well overall, you think um season two will improve at least, or from what we saw in the trailer, it seems like it it seems like it could, but I have no hope because I can also see it, I can also see it crashing and burning.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, he too.
SPEAKER_02Still speaking Because again, like I said, absolute Batman seems to be the one that DC's pushing. So DC is telling you in themselves that like we have no confidence in this.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's overall expectations are low.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, very low, almost non-existent.
SPEAKER_03But the only thing I'd like about it is Joker.
SPEAKER_02The only thing I like about it is the artwork and the animation, technically, because that's it.
SPEAKER_03Pretty good, actually, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's the only thing I like about it, but that the stories haven't really been surprising. What are you what are you looking at?
SPEAKER_05His artwork pinups. I told you.
SPEAKER_02They're scandalous. I told you, they're horny as shit, dude. Put them down. Put your phone down, you're being distracted.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, dude. Come on, good.
SPEAKER_02No, but I'm serious. Like the Batgirl one is disgusting.
SPEAKER_05Oh, yeah, it's fucked up.
SPEAKER_03It should it should have happened. Uh I it should it should exist.
SPEAKER_02Actually, most Batman fans call that a sin.
SPEAKER_03It is a sin. It is a sin.
SPEAKER_02A cardinal sin. It's a cardinal sin. Because why would Batman fuck his sidekick? Well, I would say best friend's daughter. Because Jim Gordon and him are friends.
SPEAKER_03Well, I did it what did he see him as a as a father figure or something?
SPEAKER_02It it varies. And some different things. Yeah, it varies in some stories. It might be a father figure. In others, it's more of like best friends. Well, older brother. Yeah. Kind of older brother. Because Jim, Jim Gordon.
SPEAKER_00Well, what I was saying. Honestly, when I think of Jim Gordon nowadays, I only think about the Gotham TV show.
SPEAKER_03Same two. Yeah. It's a pretty good TV show. It really is, yeah.
SPEAKER_05I think I think the best he was the best Jim Gordon.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. He's also one of the smartest men in the world. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Because of the finances. Yeah. No, but uh, no, but like I said with Jim Gordon. It depends. Because Jim Gordon can be looked at like an older brother because like he's not that far. Like, I think he was like in the in some lore, he's supposed to be 30 when or like mid-30s. I think when the Wains are murdered.
SPEAKER_03I say, yeah. I say late 20s, at least.
SPEAKER_02Late 20s, 30s, around that time. It's around that time period when the Wains are murdered. And like Bruce is like nine or ten. So I think eight. Usually eight. Usually eight, but sometimes nine or ten. So he's not that far off age-wise when it comes to Jim Gordon being like an older brother instead of like a father. Although he could be a father. I mean, not I'm not I'm not saying it's not a father figure. I think it's a mixture of both older brother and father figure because like he is wise, which is why I think it's disgusting that he would fuck his own.
SPEAKER_03Like you fucked his niece pretty much physically.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, pretty much. That's why it's disgusting. Which is why, like, it's also it's also it's also bullshit because Nightwing, your son, is dating her. And I know an adopted son, but still, son. So it's kind of disgusting too. Because it's like you're dating your.
SPEAKER_03She cheated on him for his dad.
SPEAKER_02It actually gets worse because in the Batman Beyond comic books, which are written and drawn by uh Bruce Tab. Yeah, Barbara Gordon gets pregnant.
SPEAKER_03By Bruce.
SPEAKER_02Yep, by Bruce.
SPEAKER_03Hey, I at first he thought it was um like Dick's.
SPEAKER_02But at first you thought it was Dick, but he was it was too soon for him to have impregnated her. That's the fallen hell.
SPEAKER_05That's where Dick goes after Starfire.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, sure. Yeah, sure. Yeah, we'll go with that. Anyway, moving on to uh a movie that's coming out in Christmas. It's directed by Nosferatu's director.
SPEAKER_03And and no, it's not Krampus.
SPEAKER_02No, it's not Krampus. It's Well Wolf. Where does that come from? A Christmas? Krampus. Krampus is Christmas.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yes. Anyway. And it and it's spelled like the Well spelled German, because no spell up to is German. It's German for vampire.
SPEAKER_03So werewolf, it's spelled or something like that.
SPEAKER_02So basically how Germans say W is like a V. Yeah, it's Wehrwolf.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Oh no, a the Wolf.
SPEAKER_02It's a Wehrwolf. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Volkswagen is Volkswagen.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, Vault. Yeah. So it's basically so when you when you're in Germany, like W sound V.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. What is this, eh?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so that's why I said so. So when we say werewolf, because that's what it is, it's W, but they'll say Vanwolf.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. And they have vote, huh?
SPEAKER_02So it sounds weird. It's a very weird how they say it. But you know, that's German for you.
SPEAKER_03Okay, I can't. I was only imagining it. A German like chick. To be fair.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, to be yeah, to be fair. Boy, boy. To be fair, I expect this movie to be far more superior than Wolfman. Sorry, excuse me. Than Wolfman.
SPEAKER_05It's so disgusting you can't even say it.
SPEAKER_03Very high at all. Oh, wait, wait. You mean the reasonable wolf?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, the reason Wolfman that we hated.
SPEAKER_03That's a terrible movie.
SPEAKER_02That's why it's it. I I have my expectations for this movie because it's directed by the guy who directed Nosefin. My expectations are pretty high for me to be better than the fucking Wolfman one.
SPEAKER_03That was that movie was a mistake.
SPEAKER_02It was it was absolute dog shit.
SPEAKER_03It was a travesty.
SPEAKER_02To be fair, I I still remember the joke I said for our for our uh for the podcast where I said like when at the end of the movie where like the wolf like the mother and daughter are walking up the up the cliff to see this beautiful sunrise, it would have been fucking hysterical if all like the entire pack of werewolves are right there.
SPEAKER_03Oh yeah, yeah. It would have been a lot, a lot um it would have been better.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah, it would have been scarier and better. Yeah, it would have been scarier and better. But this one, like, see, I like monster movies. So for me, like I'm excited. And me and my father go to monster movies all the time. He's the one who introduced me to this. So I was kind of like, oh, I've I haven't heard anything about this movie. Just like Nosperatu. Nosperatu was very quiet, like it was hush hush. Yeah, yeah, because it's an independent, uh, and it's an independent director and studio that's doing it, which means no big studios are interfering in their movie.
SPEAKER_05By the way, the way that movie looked, Nosperatu, like sound-wise, anaesthetic, aesthetic clothing, everything made it the movie it was.
SPEAKER_02That's what I'm saying. Yeah, it's made by independent like filmmaker and studio. So they're not like they don't have big studios pressuring them to you have to do it this way, you have to do it this way. It's like, no, this is how we're gonna do it, this is how it should be done. Fuck off.
SPEAKER_03It's your interpretation, yeah. Or uh no iteration.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and to be fair, he's to be fair, this director who I'm gonna pretty sure respects the old way that these movies should be made, and that showed what Nosferatu that he's like, no, I know how to direct these movies, this is how you do it, yeah, and I'm not going to not do it this way. So yeah, piss off. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Yeah. I think Nosferatu was was based on Dracula, right?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's Dracula's. Well, actually, well, it's the um, unfortunately, it's uh uh Bram Stoker's wife or hates Nosferatu. He does because it was it was made without their blessed yeah, without their consent. Which I would bank differ. It's still a better, it's you know, it's not real yes, it's vampires, but it's not Dracula per se.
SPEAKER_05I mean it follows the same story as Dracula to a T. It's just you change the name from Dracula to Count Orlock.
SPEAKER_02Also, you change also you change the way they look like because if you notice, he had all sharp teeth. Yeah, whereas Dracula only had two.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. And also Dracula is handsome, where Count Orlock is just fucking ugly.
SPEAKER_02Exact opposite. Yeah, ugly as shit. Yeah, ugly as sin. Yeah, it's supposed to be. They're monsters. Yeah. Nosferatu. Yeah, but I like, but I liked it because if y'all if y'all didn't know, Nosferatu was played by the guy, the van the monster was played by the guy Pennywise. So Scargard. Yeah, he played Nosferatu.
SPEAKER_03And and the crew. Yeah. We tried that movie.
SPEAKER_02Also, the guy who was the leading man in Nosferatu was also in another movie that we really like. Um Superman?
SPEAKER_05Spider-Man.
SPEAKER_02Because Robert is Willem Defoe. No, no, not Willem Defoe. The leading man. Superman? No, no.
SPEAKER_03Lex Luther, right?
SPEAKER_02Yes. Yeah, yeah, it's Lex Luther. Yeah, he is Lex Luther.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So yeah, he's so But Nick Holtz. Yeah, so they they have pretty good ideas of how to you know pick actors. And like John said, he know he he was like me. I recognize the guy that they're that they're cast as a leading man. I just don't remember his name because this is probably either his first or maybe second big movie.
SPEAKER_03Well, uh, how was I also I first was um introduced to him from X-Men uh as a beast or young a young beast where he's like X-Men first class trauma.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, X-Men first class. So that's who that's who's doing the wolfman or what wham. So that would be fun. Beast? No, no, not him. I'm gonna say it like like like if they chose him to be the wolfman that would have been accurate, you know, but well it would have been accurate to be uh fair, because he's played he's played a monster. But he's a blue were beast. Wait, what? What are you saying?
SPEAKER_05Blue werewolf and beast actually put he's a werewolf!
SPEAKER_03Oh my strudel starts in the garters. Oh my strudel. No, that's like a night crawler and him together.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, no, no, but uh honestly, yeah. No, my expectations for this movie are pretty high. Uh Strongarms, your thoughts on this one?
SPEAKER_00Um, well, based on your description, I'd also say pretty high.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna be honest with you, I because if I remember correctly, Nosferotti was only in theaters for a very short time. It was not because again, independent films are not, you know, they're not really in there. So I'm hoping that because it just says Christmas, I'm kinda hoping it's not just that day that there's a little more added on to it.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_02But if it is just Christmas, then I got the day off. I'll go see it. I am not working at Walmart, so at least that day. So I'll go see it. But uh, yeah, no, uh definitely excited. Same. But our werewolf discussion that we brought up. So I had a podcast recently that I listened to. There, and I don't they weren't talking about the Wolfman. I'm and it was really funny because I saw the trailer for the wolfman, and I was listening to this podcast, and they had they did not talk about this movie at all. Now they didn't even know, they didn't even know about this movie, but they said, like, how come werewolves aren't more mainstream, like vampires or zombies aren't? You can not sorry, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Stop.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but uh, but he that's what the question was. Like, how come they're not more mainstream? And their conversation kind of was like, well, you know, CGI and like prosthetics.
SPEAKER_03Pretty expensive. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02But I kind of thought about it. I thought about it, and I was like, hmm, yes and no. Like, I would say werewolves are mainstream, it's just like Like what Josh said in the in our breakfast discussion, it's like there are multiple ways to create a werewolf where like with vampires, there's only one way.
SPEAKER_05You get bit. That's it. Yeah, you get bit. There's two ways. You bit or you're already one is born.
SPEAKER_02Well, no, no. You swap blood.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Like they themselves. Yeah. Like there, like there are like, but those are easy methods to do. Whereas, like, like I do kind of agree with the CGI. Like, I do kind of agree with the CGI. It's kind of um that that would be a hassle. But the one way to solve that is American Werewolf in London, how they did it.
SPEAKER_07Yeah.
SPEAKER_02They didn't really show you the werewolf. They let your mind play imagination. And then they would only show like us like brief moments of like a puppet. Yeah. Yeah. And that's that made it scary.
SPEAKER_05Also, I think the best thing would be the also the transformation scene has to be for uh done well.
SPEAKER_02Well, yeah, but they did it backwards. Yeah. Whereas like I don't know about like CGI is like I remember when I saw Van Helsing when he changed the first time, it was completely CGI.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it looked weird.
SPEAKER_07Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_02When they did that. Um, but uh yeah, no, the one thing about the uh to to cut back.
SPEAKER_03Oh sorry, uh how about how about how about uh um um underworld?
SPEAKER_05Is that I don't like underworld that much.
SPEAKER_02And they also had CGI a lot. To be fair, the the the one reason why I agree with them, and like the reason why werewolves probably didn't go as mainstream is because of Twilight.
SPEAKER_05Oh yeah, but fuck fuck fuck Twilight.
SPEAKER_02Because they made them wolves, it's not werewolves, yeah. They made them wolves. Right.
SPEAKER_03Oh jaws.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. And that that that that's sad. Because that's not what a werewolf is. A werewolf is a half man, half wolf monster.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I I don't think I've seen a wolf.
SPEAKER_05So sorry to mean a cut off. Um, the way you can do it, so were is in means man in Anglo-Saxon, and wolf, obviously man wolf, so that's we so it's a wolf. What I was saying. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03The more you know.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. I feel like my explanation was fine. It's a wolf man half wolf, half-man monster. Well, okay.
SPEAKER_03Well, he is explaining. Sorry, here you go.
SPEAKER_00No, the real reason vampires are sexy, werewolves are hairy beasts. Like one of them. Sextels. Yeah, like one of them. Exactly.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, the I'm pretty sure that's not a big audience. No, it's not.
SPEAKER_02And zombies were popular just because Logging Dead? Actually, no, not the Log and Dead.
SPEAKER_05Robert, Robert, not Roberto.
SPEAKER_02No, no, no, no, no. Night of the living.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, Night Lin Dead.
SPEAKER_02Um George Romero. Yeah, he's the one who created the modern zombie. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00But it it's a collective. Yeah. You know, people just want to shoot them.
SPEAKER_02But to be fair, zombies are a lot more like they're a lot more prevalent in modern culture than they were back in the day.
SPEAKER_03Especially in video games, my first person is shooters and stuff.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah, they make it left most games.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, it's the reason why I guess zombies and vampires became mainstream. Zombies repres represent the decay and the dying of society. Um, where van and vampires represent the freedom to uh live beyond your means. Live beyond your means. Um to be the be never die to be a predator to your hunger. Never no never have to fear, well, you always have to fear the sun, but like it wouldn't matter. Your life is no longer like uh mortal, so you can do whatever the fuck you want.
SPEAKER_03And uh yeah, let me guess. The werewolf is about your your inner beast coming out.
SPEAKER_02That's about that. No, sure. It's about that. It's also like some of the best werewolf, in my opinion, some of the best werewolf movies are the ones where the werewolf is like like American Werewolf 11. It's more of a tragedy because like you don't have control over the monster. So, but like Hulk. Yeah, like Hulk. But I also like in American Werewolf 11 and some other movies, uh, you still are haunted by the sins of what the monster did. So, like the people that you killed and eaten, like they still they come back and haunt you.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, or like there are those are moments I like those. Um, like we talked about like earlier, there we're one of the reasons why it also is hard for werewolves to become mainstream, is there's so many ways a werewol can be a werewolf. Yeah, that's what I said. Yeah, a werewolf could be a werewolf because they're cursed. Yeah, witchcraft, or blood or blood, or because they're born a werewolf.
SPEAKER_03Born, yeah, it's family or gypsy or a gypsy curse or something. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Like a witch, curse, gypsy, curse. It's like there's a bunch of ways to do it. Well, it comes to werewolves. Likewolves. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Really are the rednecks of monsters. And so let's see, zombies are the blue-collar monsters, okay. Which would make vampires the white-collar monsters.
SPEAKER_05Okay, I'll go with that, but I would not say the werewolves are the rednecks of monsters. I'm not, yeah, I wouldn't say that.
SPEAKER_00I mean, think about your average redneck. Where do they live? How do they look?
SPEAKER_02To be fair, werewolves are portrayed as my necks. Yeah, fine. I'll get you. Backwoods people are mostly werewolves.
SPEAKER_03I suppose Vikings were like uh like wolf-like.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, kind of. So beware. Your uncle mom or aunt dad could be a werewolf.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Gross. I will say one of my favorite werewolf movies is the Nickelodeon I Cried a Werewolf.
SPEAKER_05A boy cried a werewolf. Yeah. That's a good movie.
SPEAKER_00Well, it's a good one. Wait, does he get eaten by the werewolf at the end?
SPEAKER_02No, no, he becomes a werewolf. Yeah, he becomes a werewolf.
unknownAh.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Well, uh I wasn't a fan of the movie Kids of Victoria Hotel Studio's map. Actually, my hot werewolf. Well, well, I never like her. To be honest. But uh, I think my favorite is probably um the original um 40s Wolfman, because that's a good one.
SPEAKER_02That's a very good one. My second favorite would be American Wolf in London, and then like my third, yeah. My third would be Wolfman, the original. Not the not the recent ones, because I just they they haven't perfected.
SPEAKER_05Um I would say for me, um The Halloween, first one. Okay. Uh American Wolf in London. Yeah. And Wolfman 2010. Because I think it was actually pretty bad. I don't think it was bad. I think it was pretty good.
SPEAKER_03Um the scene where he's in the like uh in the Bedlam Asylum. Yeah, yes. And like and like he turned into a werewolf in front of like all the doctors and stuff.
SPEAKER_05I thought that was the best. I think it's the best scene in the movie. It's the best scene in the movie.
SPEAKER_02The one thing I will say what the to go back to the trailer real quick, uh, we didn't mention, the one thing I will say, they didn't spoil the monster, yeah, what it looks like. Which some monster movies do want to do. But they want to give you like they want to like, you know, they want to give you like a pre-scare. And that one, like they gave you hints, like the like the beginning of a transformation, but they showed you what he looked like what it's gonna look like, which is a I think is the best part about that trailer.
SPEAKER_05I also like the fact that we're getting it done through a witch's curse, a curse thing you that's the first, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Well, that was like the mainstream one, which is like a witch curse. A gypsy or something, like yeah, the witch and gypsies cursed you. That's how that's how that was like the first, that was the first real uh werewolf.
SPEAKER_03I forgot why um he cursed him. I guess well, I I guess he assaulted them, I think.
SPEAKER_02Or there's multiple, like there's one where he insulted. There was one where he uh there's one where they uh um the man killed a gypsy. There's one where he was married to one and cheated. And cheated and became unfaithful, and that's how they got the curse.
SPEAKER_03Well, so he was uh a real dog.
SPEAKER_02Well, to be fair, to be fair, in those uh incantations and stories, it's basically basically the warning is don't cross a gypsy. Don't cross a woman, yeah. Oh, or gypsy. Mostly gypsy. It was basically don't cross a gypsy. Yeah. Don't cross a woman.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. I swerved. Well, gypsies in media are always like portrayed as like um wild placards.
SPEAKER_02Well, to be fair, like they were portrayed as witches for a long style. Like, if you ever watch Hunchback and Notre Dame, yeah, like they were portrayed as witches, like witchcraft.
SPEAKER_03Hell file, yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. So basically that's so like in a lot of ways, like JC means witch. Back in the day.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So basically the the whole the whole story is basically don't cross a witch.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Basically, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Or or don't uh talk or or no, or don't across anyone who uh who might who might what or I don't know, like well, yeah, but be careful who you cross.
SPEAKER_02That's very much what it is.
SPEAKER_05I have an idea. Do you want to do Reddit Story and then do Avatar the Last Airbender?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, we can save that. Yeah, we can do that. We can save all the way to the end. Yeah, all right. Because that'd be fun. No, but one last uh one last thing. Uh because uh we do monster movies and we like monster movies. Yeah, we've done Frankenstein, we've done Osferatu. Like in my personal opinion, we've done Nightzilla. Well, I think Monster.
SPEAKER_03He doesn't really lacow, you know.
SPEAKER_02That's Japanese kaiju. That's Japanese monster.
SPEAKER_03As on his own uh whole different thing, and a different breed altogether.
SPEAKER_02That's what I was saying. So we've done Frankenstein, we've done Dra we've done uh, we've seen we've all seen like a Draco movie at least once. Oh yeah. We've all seen Zombie movies. Let's see, here's my question for you. What is the one supernatural monster that you would like them to make a movie that they haven't made yet, or you don't think will ever be made to a movie? Those are my two questions.
SPEAKER_03I got one.
SPEAKER_02Alright.
SPEAKER_03A creature from the Black Lagoon.
SPEAKER_02So you want a remake?
SPEAKER_03Oh yeah, like you know, like a change the the um aesthetic into like something that's scarier, like a that would work. A piranha like face? Oh yeah, that that could work.
SPEAKER_05That could work for a mermaid or something, but does it have to be a universal monster or just any monster?
SPEAKER_02Well, any monster they haven't done. So yeah, any monster. I guess I'm opening it up to any supernatural monster.
SPEAKER_05Um I would do Oh, fuck it. A Ruguru. A Rugero. Yeah, it's like a French Cajun werewolf, but with different sta different So it's a werewolf. But it's a different type of werewolf.
SPEAKER_00Just say it's a werewolf.
SPEAKER_03Schools.
SPEAKER_00Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_03Ghouls! Oh, I like that. Well, well, yeah, well they made well made um uh mammy about it. Well, why not?
SPEAKER_05Well, well, you know what, you know what? Goblins. There you go.
SPEAKER_03Goblins, yeah. Spider Man, I don't know, but yeah. I don't think counter knob, but no, I'm pretty sure I'm pretty sure if there's a movie coming out, he'll say, Where's Spider-Man?
SPEAKER_05I oh, by the way, Clayface? Are we talking about the trailer yet? I haven't seen it yet. You haven't seen the trailer? No, I have not. We should watch it. Maybe for next time. We'll see.
SPEAKER_02Maybe for next time. No, no, no. Uh, okay. The one monster movie that I would I would pick, uh, which I'm surprised he didn't he didn't pick, is um Skinwalkers.
SPEAKER_03Ooh! Oh, Skinwalkers. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Well, uh, that'll be good.
SPEAKER_00They used to call me.
SPEAKER_03Are they a little? Why do they call you a skinwalker?
SPEAKER_00I don't know.
SPEAKER_03You have skin? You walk?
SPEAKER_00That would be angry.
SPEAKER_05Skinwalker. He walks with skin. Okay.
SPEAKER_03You wear skin over a skin?
SPEAKER_00I'll say mine. Alright. It's uh something like uh invasion of the body snatchers, like uh mind.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_02So you want to do a you want to do a screen about involving aliens, really. Alright, so here's what so this is a so this is a monster movie I don't think they should ever make, or it's really not something that can be made. It has to be like paired with another super mantra, supernatural monster of witches. Yeah, yeah. I just don't think a witch I don't think I don't think a witch's movie would ever be successful.
SPEAKER_00Um witch just playing with a villain, or what's the one wait, what's the movie with the three witches? Oh, the Disney Focus? Focus Push.
SPEAKER_05Oh, yeah. I think that was pretty successful. I I I'm gonna be honest. I maintain that 2016's The Witch is or Witch is a good movie.
SPEAKER_02I just think that they look I I just think they work better with other supernatural monsters.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Maybe um how about um like monsters from old uh legends, like all the old legends that will probably never be made.
SPEAKER_03Banshees.
SPEAKER_02That's one.
SPEAKER_05Okay, banshees. Oh, Dullahans. What? Dullahans.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's another one that will be.
SPEAKER_05Oh bad. It's a thing from Irish folklore. Um, baby Headless Horsemans. What?
SPEAKER_03Oh, Headless Horsemans?
SPEAKER_02Well, you're gonna buy. Well, if you're gonna go Headless Horsemen's, like they they have made Headless Horseman's movies that were okay, like um Sleepy Hollow in the 90s.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02So they have made like headless horses, horseman movies, but they're not common.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, there's a well, there's gonna be a I saw a trailer for a for a horror movie involving um um a costume uh like animal, like Barney. But oh my god. What are you talking about? Uh it's hey children.
SPEAKER_06Wait, is it the hug? Well, I just want to eat you.
SPEAKER_03As as as as as he's holding a knife or something, he's like no, he's like, I love you, you love me.
SPEAKER_05You all taste like happy me.
SPEAKER_03What the fuck are you talking about? Well, anyway, uh no, no, Mr. Rogers as a little killer.
SPEAKER_02Actually, welcome to my neighborhood. See, that that would be played creepy, yeah. But that would work as a horror. It would work as a horror neighborhood.
SPEAKER_05But I would I would be upset. Mr.
SPEAKER_03Rogers, it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood. As at these getting uh beautiful day to be my neighborhood. My friend, my neighbor.
SPEAKER_02Anyway, no, but uh no, I would say personally one like eight What was it? Ah, damn it, I lost it.
SPEAKER_00Oh, oh well I got it. No, it's uh it's an old Lat it's an old Latin urban legend.
SPEAKER_03What'd you pick up?
SPEAKER_05Uh La Llorona?
SPEAKER_00Yes, that one.
SPEAKER_05I knew it's 12 It would make a good beat. La Llorona The Weeping Woman.
SPEAKER_02They made one, but it makes a good TV show. Yeah, that was okay, but fair enough. No, but La Llorona makes a good TV show. That's one of our episodes.
SPEAKER_05So I got one, a Hydra. Well, that's like a Greek, you know.
SPEAKER_02That's more, that's hell. That's more that's more ancient Greece and then they do.
SPEAKER_05It could still be a good scary movie, monster movie.
SPEAKER_03Medusa. Medusa would be a good one.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. A gorgon.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, the gorgon.
SPEAKER_05That's what you call the movie. The gorgon.
SPEAKER_03The gorgon.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_01The Josh.
SPEAKER_05How about the Josh?
SPEAKER_00There used to be like this uh this this TV show called Channel Zero, where they basically made they made adaptations of the most famous creepy pastas of the. One of them was Candle Cove.
SPEAKER_05Um it's first season.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Would you want Candle Cove to be uh your like an actual movie?
SPEAKER_00Honestly, like the way they should have done it, they should have done it like a Black Mirror. I agree. It's just all like one episode for each mythology.
SPEAKER_05I would have I would like to have liked them to do one for Mr. Bear. That's one other creepy pops that I think it would have done well.
SPEAKER_02Not gonna lie, I'm gonna be 100% honest with you. This makes really funny because we're talking monster movies, but my father, uh, we were at the mall and they already have Halloween shit out. I mean, it's like it's a little early for Halloween, don't you think? It's like, well, I like Halloween. I do like Halloween. So it yes, I do agree. It it is a little early. It is it's fucking July. July.
SPEAKER_03I got one. Um never early. Genies.
SPEAKER_04Oh chins!
SPEAKER_03Yeah, chin. Like um like Robin. Actually, you can make it lowerens?
SPEAKER_02I'm actually actually you can make that a pretty good horror movie because like wishes and like well, yeah, because you could make the genie more of like, oh, I'll grant you a wish, and then like have the wishes backfire. Or be misinterpreted. Yeah, maybe this isn't what you want.
SPEAKER_03And and then and then you're you feel your life life force draining or something.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you could do you could do multiple things with that. Oh, yeah, I got one.
SPEAKER_00That's basically what obsession was.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. I got one. I will say this after seeing that movie, I'm gonna be honest with you. You saw it? I saw it. Yeah, just sorry. So I always hit when they come, you might hear me, not good.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I got you.
SPEAKER_02No, but uh, no, after seeing the movie, I'm gonna be honest with you. Yeah, um, I do agree with strong arms. It is like you can see it coming. Like you see the indeed. Like, because you know the what's like I do agree with what he says. Like, you do see it coming. Like, you know, like he has to die.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_02But I will also but I will say this. In my opinion, yes and no, he's a simp. Yeah. He's a bitch. He's a bitch. But I don't know how much like because a bitch wouldn't kill himself, simple as that. But that's what I'm saying. Yeah, but I'm saying this. What because to me, he's a simp in the fact that he wished for the girl to like, you know. Yeah, that's the simp part. But it also, in my opinion, like when he didn't know what was going on, like he was genuinely confused. Yeah, like he doesn't know. Like, that's what I was been. Like he was playing it, like, I'm gonna be honest with you. He was he was playing it like on drugs. Well, yeah, but also like he was weird out because when she offered it, like and she got into bed with him, he was like completely weird.
SPEAKER_05You're freaky Nikki. Yeah, that was the part like yeah, freaked me out, bro. But like I was talking to a friend about this just recently, and I looked at uh the director and the actor talking about the role, and I said, Yeah, up until the uh stinner scene, he does not know what the fuck's going on. He just thinks she's finally falling in love with him.
SPEAKER_02Well, I was about to say is that like like I don't know if I would say sip. I would say like I'd say he he's that's why I said he's yes, he's a sip, but yes, he's a bitch. He's a loser. He's yeah, so yeah, he's a loser.
SPEAKER_00I don't know. Either way, I don't know. The uh the movie made 400 million dollars on a $750,000 budget.
SPEAKER_05Which is good, yeah, it's the biggest gross, it's the highest grossing film on a on a small budget.
SPEAKER_02It was just a testament, but I I I'm just I get so mad because of my co worker because she's like, Well, he's the bad guy. And I'm like, I'm sitting there watching the movie. It's like at no point do I think he's the bad guy.
SPEAKER_05He's not, he's literally not. Even the even the director, the creator of the story, and the actor have both said he's morally gray. He's not a bad guy, he does bad things, but he's not a bad guy.
SPEAKER_02Also, like the If you were in the situation, if he had would you want to kill yourself? No. I mean boy. Well, the your options are your options are this: you either kill her, her, or you kill yourself. Those are your options. I kill her.
SPEAKER_05Or you just call the police. Yeah, my friend just entered that to me. He's like, Why don't we just make her actor?
SPEAKER_02You could call the cops.
SPEAKER_03I would I would push her off a building or something.
SPEAKER_02I call them cops. I make her take the fall for everything. Yeah. I mean, like, you're in the courtroom and you're like, oh, this is the officers. I don't know what she was doing.
SPEAKER_06She just kept pushing her face into the brick.
SPEAKER_03I'll be honest, I don't know, I don't know who she is. How do you keep stalking to me for no reason?
SPEAKER_02To be fair, you know, I don't know who she is. I don't know. Also, like, uh, I'm gonna be honest with you. I thought it was a weak to be fair, I I agree with strong, it was a weak horror movie. It was that like it it's a sad, I mean, it's sad. And the fact that it made all this money is kind of sad.
SPEAKER_00Oh well. I mean, all I that's all uh anyone wanted to talk about. And now the director, he wants to cash in on the success of this one. I just don't know TV show.
SPEAKER_02I don't think to be honest with you, I don't think it has enough legs to do a sequel or a TV show.
SPEAKER_00Okay, well, it's based on like the one wish willow of the show.
SPEAKER_05Oh, so they'd probably be going and show all other wishes that people made. Like, because the other wishes, um, and fun fact, I'm not sure if you knew this. I'm gonna put it out there that it's been proven that the reason why it's called the one wish wool is because witches back in the day when they were hung, they were hung from wool trees. Okay. So the branches might be used. They're cur they're curse.
SPEAKER_01The more you know, the more you know.
SPEAKER_00How about sex?
SPEAKER_03How about uh with Japanese monsters?
SPEAKER_05Yokais. Yokai. You have yokais. I would do Kochi Sakyona, the slim mouth woman. It's called anime. Anime.
SPEAKER_03Well no, I mean like anime. I mean like live action.
SPEAKER_02Like uh I mean you can make yeah, you can make you can make yokais real. You can make techniques. Whatever.
SPEAKER_03I don't know, like uh I there's a lot of options for um like a horror movie.
SPEAKER_02Oh, there's no there. Oh, I just recently watched his brand new anime. He and I just finished uh the only last two episodes. Yeah, but it's been it's really good. It's called Black Torch. It's really good. Oh, is it? Yeah dude, I love that. Uh it's about this uh mono m what is it? Mono Monoco? Uh it's a it's a Japanese spirit.
SPEAKER_05It's like a Japanese like immortal spirit thing.
SPEAKER_02It's an immortal spirit. Makemono? Yeah, Makimoto.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's uh it's uh it has but the Makonoto is a black cat. And it's uh his name is Raga, and the main character is uh Ichro Ichro? Jiro Jiro Juan, Jiro, Jiro. Yeah, Jiro. And like uh I love their I just love their I just love their back yeah no their back and forward is so fucking cool. It's one of the funniest, it's one of the funniest moments because there's this one moment where he's like, Jiro, I Jiro, what the fuck are you doing?
SPEAKER_05No, the best scene is where he's like, he says, You're right, grandpa. I'll lean on it. I'll lean on people. I'll lean on him. And the cat's and the cat's like, huh? And he's like, go home.
SPEAKER_02What are you talking about?
SPEAKER_03I hate to watch that.
SPEAKER_02Dude, it's fun. Yeah, you'll you like it.
SPEAKER_03I hey too much will love anime.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Well, that's more because anime is a very popular s is a very popular topic. So I incorporate that too into our podcast a little bit.
SPEAKER_03Alright, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02But anyway, uh back to uh so yeah, no. Um yeah, but yeah. What's chipacabra? No, the upset yeah, it's chipacabra. I don't think you could do goat side.
SPEAKER_05I think you do jupicabra.
SPEAKER_02I guess you could. I mean, they did do a screw me too, Jupiter Cobra.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I think another one you could do.
SPEAKER_02Oh yeah, my grade for obsession. You didn't let me finish.
SPEAKER_05Oh my god. Uh oh, sorry. Well your grade. Out of like ten out of five. Was it ten?
SPEAKER_02Uh ten? Yeah. Uh honestly, I was no offense, but I was bored for most of this movie, so I gave it four.
SPEAKER_01Alright, fine. I saw No, I'm just telling you.
SPEAKER_05I'm not mad.
SPEAKER_01I'm just saying I'm fine.
SPEAKER_03I didn't I didn't even see the movie. I just um I saw a I saw a recap review on YouTube and uh and uh already I hate it. Because it's a dumb story.
SPEAKER_02That's why I gave it a four. That's why I said I don't see how this has legs. I really don't. The only way I could see this having any legs is there's a lot more blood, like a lot more blood fare than what we had in it.
SPEAKER_05I'll be honest. I saw Evil Dead recently with Rachel, and my god, was she terrified?
SPEAKER_03Well, we'll sneak out the next one.
SPEAKER_05No, that's no, it was just brutal.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, we'll save that for our next episode since none of us have seen it yet.
SPEAKER_05Oh, that's fine. Alright.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, we'll move on.
SPEAKER_05Okay. Um red story or red story, and then we'll do avatar, I think, is a good idea.
SPEAKER_02Uh, because the avatar thing's gonna take a fucking.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, we're already at 49 minutes, and the red story will take probably 10, 15.
SPEAKER_03Maybe we'll strong arm is all you.
SPEAKER_00Alright.
SPEAKER_03You have the floor.
SPEAKER_00I so I did promise animals. Oh, God. For the next story.
SPEAKER_05Can we do a cheating one next one, please?
SPEAKER_03This is only a cheating story next. Oh, all right. Okay, well, maybe watch that.
SPEAKER_00Well, this is this kind of is a little bit of both. Oh dear god. This originally comes from R slash relationship advice. It's a post from 2020.
SPEAKER_03Is it a monkey?
SPEAKER_00My close. Close? A gorilla?
SPEAKER_04Oh god.
SPEAKER_00It's a gorilla. Oh no. My boyfriend, my boyfriend's relationship with his teddy bear is making me uncomfortable.
SPEAKER_05Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, please, please, no.
SPEAKER_01That's why cocktail? We have a Ted. We have a Ted. We have a Teddy.
SPEAKER_03A Ted story, yeah.
SPEAKER_05No, we have a Malcolm from fucking teddy story.
SPEAKER_03A test story, yeah.
SPEAKER_06Oh dear. Just tell the fucking story, bro.
SPEAKER_02Pork you think they seen Thunder Buddies together?
SPEAKER_00Thunder Buddies? Thunder Buddies. Remember from GTA 5, Mr. Raspberry Jam?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, exactly. Oh god, just tell the story.
unknownAlright.
SPEAKER_00Keno. Okay, now, please, no joke, this is actually serious. Also, this is a throwaway account, and I was an idiot writing my name and typed throwaway instead of throwaway. Uh, I've been with my boyfriend for three months now, so it's pretty new. So far, everything is going good except this tiny little detail. He has this teddy bear. Let's name him Teddy.
SPEAKER_03Teddy Teddy.
SPEAKER_00Let's name him Mr.
SPEAKER_05Tickles.
SPEAKER_00Mr.
SPEAKER_06Tickles? Mr. Tickles.
SPEAKER_05Mr. T Burz. No, it's Mr. Bear. There you go. We'll call him Mr. Bear.
SPEAKER_03I for Ted.
SPEAKER_01I prefer kiddy. Okay.
SPEAKER_05I prefer Mr.
SPEAKER_01Tickles.
SPEAKER_00That was why. Alright, well. All right. No, go ahead. Uh Teddy has always been a part of my boyfriend's life. He got him for his birthday when he was around five or six. Oh dear God. His parents tried taking Teddy away from him. He screamed and cried so loud without stopping that they ended up giving up. So he kept Teddy with him his whole life. He mentioned Teddy to me pretty early, about a week after us being together. He showed me pictures of him and I found it cute at first. He had plenty of pictures of him in different situations. I truly found it adorable since I thought it was just a joke, really, and didn't think that Teddy was such a big part of his life. Until the more we got to know each other, the more he started mentioning him. He'd often make jokes about him. When he'd come back to his flat, he'd say, I'd have to come back. Teddy is waiting for me.
SPEAKER_05Oh, so they're bringing it. Oh dear good.
SPEAKER_00And then he later texted.
SPEAKER_05Oh god. Rupert.
SPEAKER_00Okay, well, we can forgive Stewie. Stewie's a baby. And this guy is. Oh, he's 23.
SPEAKER_05He continue.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Alright. I have to come back. And then later he texts me, okay, I put Teddy to bed. So now I might go to sleep as well. I don't want to wake him up. Again, a little weird, but cute still.
SPEAKER_05Bro, I'd be looking for the fucking door.
SPEAKER_00That's a giant flack. It's like a childlike innocence.
SPEAKER_05No, no, no. Sorry. I dare to cut you off, Strong Arms. That's not childlike innocence. That is literally like you're dating a five-year-old who's in a 23-year-old's body.
SPEAKER_02That's a mental health problem.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, it's a mental health problem. No. Childlike innocence would be like you're watching Harry Potter and you're like, wow, that's childlike innocence. That's not or Spongebob and still laughing at the jokes that you grew up watching as a kid. That's still childlike innocence.
SPEAKER_02Most of those jokes were for adults.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. But that's all I guess that's all childlike innocence. But never mind. But yeah, but.
SPEAKER_03That example.
SPEAKER_05That example. But this this is a mental disorder. It just needs professional help.
SPEAKER_00And you would take someone to know what.
SPEAKER_05Shut the fuck up. I don't need professional help.
SPEAKER_03I wonder if if it was if it was like a He-Man toy or something, or a thinner cat's or or uh a Transformers toy.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Transformers.
SPEAKER_01Robots and discount. This is a teddy bear though. This is a very this is a this is a teddy care bear. Like like it's a tender bear. I'll show you a care. Show me you!
SPEAKER_02Now now I'm imagining it be instead of it being a teddy bear, I'm imagining it being the pink care bear with a heart.
SPEAKER_05Oh my god! Yeah, show me how you can't Yeah, to love a lot bear.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. So let's see what happened next.
SPEAKER_00Okay. But he really started talking about him constantly, always linking what we were doing to him. He'd send me selfies with him at least twice a week. He also sometimes, and this is where you buckle up for this. He also thought sometimes said weird stuff like I fucked it. Whenever we watched a sex scene in it, I don't know.
SPEAKER_06I fucked it. That's not weird. I'm straight admitting it.
SPEAKER_01I fucked my gear. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_00Whenever we watch a sex scene in a movie, he'd say, That's what me and Teddy do when we're alone.
SPEAKER_03That's not even a joke. That's that's wrong.
SPEAKER_00Or when I asked when he lost his virginity, he answered, Oh, I lost it with Teddy a few years ago. They were jokes that made me uncomfortable.
SPEAKER_03Jokes?
SPEAKER_05Those aren't psychotic! That's fucking wrong. It's a fucking stuffed animal, bro. That's a cry for health. It's it's this is literally Stewie if Stewie maintains his crescent path.
SPEAKER_03Hey guys, is over clear? I'm straight, okay?
SPEAKER_05Montreal Tingle says that he says, Hey guys, I'm wanting to be honest. I'm straight. I don't know what the fuck he's talking about.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna be honest with you. I had a stuffed animal when I was a kid. It was the Dalmatian, Wonder One Dalmatian. I had a stuffed animal too. They used to take everywhere. And I grew out of that. Like I grew out of that by the time I was in third grade.
SPEAKER_05I love Bluebear. He's somewhere upstairs, but fuck, I don't do that shit to him. And I had, as you know. Bro, fuck you.
SPEAKER_00No, no. Thomas. And I had Thomas the trains. Oh, so did I.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. So I mean, it's how do you fuck a train? It's not in the caboose.
SPEAKER_03You play in a caboose.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, he played in the caboose, yeah.
SPEAKER_02I can't believe he said he fucked his teddy bit. He actually just came out with it.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, that oh I lost him with Teddy a few years ago, Joe!
SPEAKER_02It's supposed to be a joke.
SPEAKER_05Is that where it ends or is it continue?
SPEAKER_02Why do I feel like he's gonna why do I feel like it's gonna end with him asking, do you want to do a three-way with me in the three-way with me and teddy?
SPEAKER_03I'd be surprised. I'd be surprised if she said yes.
SPEAKER_05If she said yes, then she would then she would have said this.
SPEAKER_00Go ahead.
SPEAKER_03Well, sorry.
SPEAKER_00All right. He always seemed to consider Teddy to be his baby or his son or his brother. So him being sexualized was extremely weird for me. I thought it was weird, and he just laughed, but I don't think he took me seriously. About a month ago, I told him I was okay with him bringing Teddy when he was staying around my flat. I could see it was making him sad to leave him, and also was very curious to finally see him in per also. I was very curious to finally see him in person.
SPEAKER_02My advice, make sure you have tongues.
SPEAKER_05Yes, yeah. I hate them on toys though. I want to touch it.
SPEAKER_02I would never want to touch it. It's probably crusty and shit.
SPEAKER_01Literally, this would be me. Just like Hollander. Like with the tongs is grabbing it and then like right. It breaks.
SPEAKER_06I need to wash my hand! I need to wash my hand! Oh god! I tasted it! Okay, I touched it! Look at my face!
SPEAKER_02That's how fucked up it would be if you're hanging out with him and some guy just throws the teddy bear in the other guy and says, Oh, don't worry, guys. Don't worry, guys. I wash it. Wait, what are you waiting what are you talking about? Oh, I fucked that bear.
SPEAKER_03And then and then and then this guy what does the steel reaction like white stuff comes out.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I forgot to wash it today.
SPEAKER_06He just screams.
SPEAKER_03I'm gonna I'm gonna. I need a flame thrower now.
SPEAKER_02Either that or it's the bright reaction where he just throws up like sex with her. No, you just throw up and it's like, wait, why are you throwing up?
SPEAKER_06He lied in my mouth!
SPEAKER_02Oh god!
SPEAKER_00Oh shit.
SPEAKER_05Okay, you can tell you the story, bro.
SPEAKER_00Alright. So that day I drove to his flat and we went with all his stuff and Teddy. When he got in the car, he pulled him out of from his bag and had him. Pulled him out of his bag and had me er had him give me a kiss on the cheek.
SPEAKER_06Oh no! No way.
unknownOh my god.
SPEAKER_05Can you imagine bringing this guy around your friends, bro?
SPEAKER_02Honestly, all I can think of is this bear. It looks disgusting.
SPEAKER_05And not even that. I can imagine this guy bringing around her friends, and he's just like, this is my boyfriend Tom. Says, hey, what about me? Is he making the bear set?
SPEAKER_02And this is Mr. Tickle's. I'm gonna be honest with you. I'm gonna tell you this now. All I'm picturing is now this kid, is now this guy in a yellow shirt, red overalls. Wearing a fanny pack. And acting like a child, like a five-year-old. It's like, we're going wherever mommy says we're going.
SPEAKER_05Now, Mr. Mr. Jingles! We will not have that tone. Now Mr. Jingles, you can put it out in the nail finger.
unknownMr.
SPEAKER_05Jingles!
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_03Can we please just uh go on with a story?
SPEAKER_00Alright. He had me give him when we drove, he opened the window and put Teddy out of the car like a dog. He said it was rare for Teddy to travel like that, and he could feel that he was happy. Teddy smells a lot like my boyfriend hasn't watched him in 12 years. Oh, for a long car drive. He hugged him and gave him kisses.
SPEAKER_01How good? Dude, that's just wrong. Okay, I can go.
SPEAKER_00Oh god, that's just he has a weird twitch where he just compulsively pats the back of Teddy. And wait, he always rubs Teddy's clothes in between his fingers. Wait, it has clothes? Uh apparently so. When we're together in bed, he always puts Teddy's mouth on my mouth. And I'm finding disgusting.
SPEAKER_05Oh it tastes like it must have dried seed.
SPEAKER_02It has to. That's disgusting.
SPEAKER_00He always has tries to have Teddy touch my boobs, her ass. Oh, Teddy, not being such dirty dope.
SPEAKER_05Bro, Mr. Tickles, what are you doing?
SPEAKER_00When we make love, I often end up finding him in between us.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god. Oh my god. He is talking to Mr. Tickles! He is trying to do a three-way with this bear. I would break up with the big thing. No, no, no. Babe, babe, it's okay. The fact that she hasn't broken up with him.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, is it a testament to no?
SPEAKER_02That must mean he has a dick.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Like a dick dick. I'm gonna be I'm gonna be honest though. A dildo? No. Yeah, miss. Can you imagine when he might be saying to her, it's okay, babe. Mr. Teddy likes to watch. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_02He says it like scared. All I can think of is when she was saying during the car ride is that, like, oh, Teddy, not here, not right now. Come on, Miss.
SPEAKER_01Later.
SPEAKER_06Jesus Christ.
SPEAKER_03Okay. John. I'm scared, but keep going.
SPEAKER_02I feel like there's gonna be a murderer.
SPEAKER_00I often watch between us. Sorry, sorry. And every time I throw him away, my boyfriend says, oh no, he likes to watch in a joking way. A joking way?
SPEAKER_01That's not joking. That's just sad.
SPEAKER_06That's fucking disgusting and sad. Yo! What the fuck, Bob?
SPEAKER_00Alright. He often mentions us having a threesome. I do it! And him being great at licking. And always doing kinky stuff together.
unknownEw!
SPEAKER_00Ew! Bro!
SPEAKER_06Look at John's fake dude! Look at his fucking ginger tells!
SPEAKER_03Imagine if it was if it plays the world toy story.
SPEAKER_01Oh dear God, it means stories he would tell.
SPEAKER_03This is the this this is Ted.
SPEAKER_01This is the movie Ted.
SPEAKER_03Yes.
SPEAKER_01The worst way.
SPEAKER_03What do you think?
SPEAKER_01Sean, you don't want to know.
SPEAKER_02This is this is like the movie Ted, but like the worst version. If John was actually crazy.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02A last episode of the show. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Okay, fun now.
SPEAKER_00Alright. Now, I'm I'm not an idiot. I know communication is important. I tried talking to him so many times, sometimes in a joking way, so he doesn't feel attacked. He can't be attacked so many times in a serious way. But every time he didn't take it seriously, made jokes, and never truly told me what he thought. I should mention that he is like that for any serious conversation. All he does is make awkward jokes, and he never tells me how he f how he feels.
SPEAKER_03How do you know if he's joking or not?
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna be honest with you. Like I swear to God, I'm expecting this story to have like, don't worry, Teddy. We'll eat her.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, no, you know what? You know what? Uh here's my awesome pick thing. Grab a teddy, throw him in a wood chipper. It's over. You're 23 fucking years old. Grow the fuck up. That might actually rate that actually might break your psychosis. It wouldn't.
SPEAKER_03The voices are gone.
SPEAKER_00Oh, thank God. Alright.
SPEAKER_03This is become Sorry, sorry, you go.
SPEAKER_00Alright. This is becoming hard to handle. Now it is?
SPEAKER_01Oh my god.
SPEAKER_00I've been away from him for two times.
SPEAKER_01We're past hard to handle. We're now why the fuck are you here?
SPEAKER_00I was away from him for two weeks and was kind of relieved I wouldn't see Teddy anymore. But all he did was send pictures. And whenever I asked him, what are you doing? What did you do today? Playing with Teddy.
SPEAKER_03Playing with Teddy.
SPEAKER_06What do you want? What did he say? What are you doing?
SPEAKER_03He said he went up. I said her pictures. And and I said, Noot?
SPEAKER_06It's a nip slip, just one overall.
SPEAKER_01On the bear? One one with the bear bent over.
SPEAKER_06Oops. Oh shit.
SPEAKER_03I'm going to hell.
SPEAKER_06No, it's the strap on.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I I see a strap on on the bear. Like Ted.
SPEAKER_01Oh god.
SPEAKER_03I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_01Go ahead. Go ahead. I wanna know how big this fucking teddy bear is. Me too.
SPEAKER_00As in uh today he told me I was perfect, which was a first, and I sure didn't expect that. When he when he said that, I said, really? And his reply was actually no. Teddy is perfect, and you come way after him.
SPEAKER_02Whoa! Break up.
SPEAKER_01This woman is gonna talk. This woman's gonna talk.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Again, here's my Shhla. Hold up.
SPEAKER_00There's three questions here. One, am I overreacting?
SPEAKER_01No. No.
SPEAKER_00What should I do? Leave him. Three, how do I get him to finally talk about it and take me seriously?
SPEAKER_02You're not gonna get it. You're not gonna get him to talk seriously. You're gonna just gotta dump his ass.
SPEAKER_03Okay, here you have two options. The parents over a burning intervention.
SPEAKER_05That would be one. That would be one. Whole family. Okay, you have two three options of SK. One, invite parents, friends, family, and intervention his ass so hard. Okay. Two, dump his ass and dump it hard.
SPEAKER_02She should have dumped his ass a little dumped.
SPEAKER_05No, I know. Or third and third most most I would recommend option before intervention. Fuck intervention almost. Third option. Be nuclear. Be an asshole. Take the teddy bear. Make him look it in the eyes and shove it in a wood chipper. No. Fireplace. Fireplace. And burn the fuck out of it.
SPEAKER_03And the cross just keeps on.
SPEAKER_05And you say, now you have no one but me.
SPEAKER_00Well, you know the top.
SPEAKER_06He jumps into the fire? What?
SPEAKER_00How on earth am I still single? Reply, because you don't have a kick-ass wingman like Teddy.
SPEAKER_06Kick-ass wingman like Teddy.
SPEAKER_01I don't think I want a wingman like Teddy.
SPEAKER_02This guy has to either be one of two things. He has to be drought dead gorgeous. Yeah. Which he probably is.
SPEAKER_01And he has to have like either that or he has to have a massive. I mean like a massive dick.
SPEAKER_00Like just like just nine inches, something like that. Now you now you've burned the image in my brain of him sticking his thing up to Teddy. Come on, Teddy. I'll see the team.
SPEAKER_03Okay, I'm sorry. I have the dimension. Chris Havesworth. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_00Next comment. I bet Teddy looks radiant under a strong black light.
SPEAKER_01Radiant, huh? Oh dear God. I gotta lie.
SPEAKER_02They're probably the only thing in that room that's lit up like crazy that in the bed. Oh, white. At that moment, like if if it's all white, you throw that there away. No, no, you just need to move out of that house. Oh, yeah. Burn the bedroom. I don't give a shit. Continue the comments. No, I just love that. It's like that one scene from the real estate where the guy is like, I just have to do one final check. And oh, why am I blue? Why am I blue?
SPEAKER_01What does blue mean?
SPEAKER_06I can't get clean.
SPEAKER_01You're blue bowl? You wish it was blue ball. No, I used to cover it with colour. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Well, this is a good idea.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, you're gay. Is there an update or continue with the comments?
SPEAKER_00Yes, there is an update. Woo!
SPEAKER_05This gets better.
SPEAKER_00Shut up, dude. Jesus, dude.
SPEAKER_03Calm down.
SPEAKER_00Sorry. Okay. First question. Why are you with this guy? Are you insecure? Do you have low standards?
SPEAKER_03Is he hot?
SPEAKER_00Obviously, I didn't write down his nicest description. Apart from the weird teddy bear fetish, he was a completely normal guy with friends, going to parties, studying, and so on. Or the friends like he is quite the popular guy.
SPEAKER_02So he is good looking. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00In fact, even though I don't care about this kind of thing, he took me on dates and made me feel special. I really thought he was a keeper. At the beginning, him being a little childish didn't bother me. I myself have stuffed pets. And even though they're in a cupboard, I used to love them as a kid.
SPEAKER_03As a kid, yeah. Yeah, as a kid. Yeah, as a grown-ass man.
SPEAKER_00That's when he started sexualizing the bear and involving me that I freaked out.
SPEAKER_03As a quote joke.
SPEAKER_00The problem is it's so hard to tell when he's joking or not. He constantly makes jokes. That's why I never could tell if whether I was overreacting or not.
SPEAKER_02Now, wait a minute. Now, how I would answer that question is like, what like what does he sound like when he's making a joke? Because I'm gonna be honest with you, it sounds like it sounds like he's serious all the time. You're just interpreting as a joke.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Oh yeah. I fucked a bear. Stuff like that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it sounds like she's interpreting as a joke. Or you could have been like, oh yeah, no, I fucked the bear.
SPEAKER_03Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_05And then you're and you're like, oh, you're a kidder, you kidder. I'm like, seriously, fuck it. Yeah, I fucked it. I fucked it twice a day. You best fuck it. You best fuck it. When you get a pussy, Mr. Teddy's you fuck it on the time.
SPEAKER_02Oh, oh God, you don't think he puts a pocket pussy in it?
SPEAKER_00He cuts uh I mean he probably has room by now.
SPEAKER_03I mean, I mean well people hey people usually men usually uh like they put a hole in a water salad and they heat it up and then or pie. Or pie, yeah. But it is a teddy bear.
SPEAKER_02This is fucked up.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god. Oh god. I don't know. Here's the kicker, boys and girls. Okay. We actually have a picture of Oh! Yo! Oh my god.
SPEAKER_01Is it covering just? Can you please send that in the group chat? Yeah, please send it to the group chat. I will. Oh, because I really need to. I need to see this bear.
SPEAKER_05I need to see this bear too, bro.
SPEAKER_01One phone.
unknownAlright.
SPEAKER_05Take my phone.
SPEAKER_06Holy shit. Oh, fuck it. No.
SPEAKER_03I see wolf white stuff. Oh god.
SPEAKER_00Oh no, do you? Oh why is it? It literally looks like it hasn't been washed.
SPEAKER_05In centuries, not even years.
SPEAKER_02It's not a fucking bear.
SPEAKER_05It's a moose.
SPEAKER_03That's a moose. Fucking moose, you idiot. What universe is is that a a bear?
SPEAKER_02That's a moose. That's like Teddy the moose.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Okay, can so is that where it ends? Like, did he break up with him?
SPEAKER_02Please tell me she broke up with him.
SPEAKER_04Tell me she threw Teddy in the fucking d in the dumpster. No, it broke up.
SPEAKER_00I'm looking. What alright, what did you do in the end? I was meant to see him today, so I picked him up and we drove to my flat. Of course, Teddy is there when he came in my car. My boyfriend had given me had given me kisses and stuff. Wrong choice of the case. I said, stop please, in a cold way, and he stopped. I said we needed to talk and he needed to listen because I started crying. I thought it would be hard for me to start talking, but since I was so stressed with all with all your comments, I just broke down and cried. I told him how I needed him to stop with Teddy and that he needed to stop being so close and dependent on him. Then that Teddy shouldn't come to my flat anymore. At first he was silent, but then he said he didn't understand why I was so uncomfortable with it. Dude, he was totally joking. That he knew Teddy wasn't real, and that it was hurting him to see that I thought I had a he had a problem. I was extremely disappointed of his reaction, and I just told him I needed a break, so I drove back to so I drove him back to his flat, and that's where I am now.
SPEAKER_02And then outside the window, all you hear is Teddy as she's driving away. Teddy's just in the background saying, baby, come back!
SPEAKER_05Or he's just like or yes, he's gone! And yeah, no, you know what? I'm gonna be honest with you. I would have grabbed this man by the face and said, You are 23 years old. Get rid of your fucking teddy bear. No, moose. Moose, whatever. Get rid of your stuffed animal.
SPEAKER_03You know what? I would get a different name. Bullwinkle.
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah, Bowl Winkle makes sense, yeah. Yeah. We have a bullwinkle.
SPEAKER_03So that was sexy, too.
SPEAKER_01Anyway. God. The fact that she didn't dump his ass. Tell me she's we're on a break moment.
SPEAKER_05We're on a break. No, dump his ass. Dump his ass. Tell him you don't want to see his fucking face again. Jesus Christ. I don't know.
SPEAKER_00I mean, this is a health room.
SPEAKER_052020. Oh man, they're probably broken up. Oh, imagine if they got married.
SPEAKER_01Oh, imagine she's dead. He killed her.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna be honest with you. I'm gonna be honest with you. I'm not gonna be honest with you. That entire story screams of like I'm gonna kill you at some point. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03No, no. He kills her. The bear.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. It really wasn't me. Tally told me to do it.
SPEAKER_02Scarface is a bit. No, then the knife, the knife is in the moose's hand, and it's like the the the bear did it, and the it is like, oh yeah, the bear did it. And the cops, as the cops are in the route, the bear is like, works every time.
SPEAKER_03Who blames the toy?
SPEAKER_02Nobody brings the bear. Bye-bye, Brian. Bye-bye. Also, I'm a fucking moose. You fucker.
SPEAKER_05Fucking me all the time.
SPEAKER_03Dumbass.
SPEAKER_02The scene cuts out and he it's it's in his head as he's in a as he's in the train. Yeah, that's what Teddy said. Oh, that's exactly what Teddy said.
SPEAKER_00One more picture. Oh my god. And this one let it come with a trigger warning to Captain C.
SPEAKER_03Before and after?
SPEAKER_00Before and after! You'll see why when you see it. Oh dear God!
SPEAKER_03I'm afraid, but uh I'll look.
SPEAKER_06What the fuck?
SPEAKER_03Oh shit.
SPEAKER_06That poor cat! Oh is that blood?
SPEAKER_02Oh is that blood?
SPEAKER_05I hope that's not blood. I remember.
SPEAKER_00It just might be.
SPEAKER_03Imagine if you sell my board of Freeman.
SPEAKER_05And now the young man is plowing my ass.
SPEAKER_00The cat is the most traumatized.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_02The cat looks like he's just chilling there. He's like up against the wall.
SPEAKER_06What the fuck's going on? This is a mad house! A mad house!
SPEAKER_02Excuse me. Alright, I give this story. I'm gonna give this story a 10.
SPEAKER_06It's a 10, bro.
SPEAKER_05The joke's alone, man 10.
SPEAKER_02This is a fucked up 10.
SPEAKER_05Next time we want to hear I want to hear a cheating one, but this this one. Woo! I wanna hear an actual animal one. Oh god. Ah, stuffed animal. We want to hear fucked up shit with animals.
SPEAKER_03Fucked a bear. Not gonna lie, this is pretty.
SPEAKER_01This is a pretty fucking animal.
SPEAKER_06Sedical making fucked up, yeah.
SPEAKER_03I think I made it better.
SPEAKER_00Okay. There we are, made it. Between the koala bear and the this one. This one. This one. This one.
SPEAKER_02This takes the kick. This one's the most fucked up. I think this is the fucked up Red story that we found in a little ever. I mean, it's it almost reaches this would be tough to beat.
SPEAKER_05It almost reaches the gay the gay cation one. Oh fucked up. That's true.
SPEAKER_01Gay Cation's the best.
SPEAKER_02This is like this is like right here. Gay Cation's still right here.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03High tier.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's a very high tier. It's very hard. It's a high mark.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, okay.
SPEAKER_02The only way that this story was surpassed it, if it wasn't a woman, say it was a gay guy.
SPEAKER_05Oh, even better. No, even better if it would be a gay. If it was they show a picture of the woman and of the man and then of Teddy.
SPEAKER_02Why do I feel like the woman's ugly?
SPEAKER_05Imagine a pretty woman would do that. Go through this.
SPEAKER_03At that hag?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I can't. I can't imagine like a drop-dead gorgeous dealing with it with any woman, really, besides someone who doesn't have any confidence in themselves.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. So so they broke up or something? They're on a break.
SPEAKER_02The last update was 2020, so I'm gonna assume they're broke up.
SPEAKER_05If not, imagine if they're fucking married. Or dead.
SPEAKER_02Well, Teddy was the best man.
SPEAKER_00And the teddy bear is the ring bearer. He was the best man.
SPEAKER_02And and the ring bearer. No, that'd be really fucked up, but that'd be a funny wedding. Is like, is the bear. Is he just he's laughing, he's like, oh teddy. Yeah. Everybody else is like.
SPEAKER_05The fuck? Are we just gonna pretend that the bear can talk? Are we gonna pretend like that that he's not crazy?
SPEAKER_00I pr I now pronounce you the man who fucks teddy bears.
SPEAKER_03And his wife. And his wife. Take fucker and wife.
SPEAKER_00And then he gives the teddy bear to his baby.
SPEAKER_05Oh this will be your friend like he was mine. Ew, ew, ew, ew.
SPEAKER_01A child abuse. That's child abuse.
SPEAKER_02That's wrong. That's wrong. That's just wrong. Oh, so many levels. Alright, you wanna avatar? Yeah, we want to do an avatar.
SPEAKER_00I don't know. I think we might need a minute to recover. What the fuck? I need a especially ginger beard.
SPEAKER_02Oh Jesus Christ. If we're gonna talk one uh topic that's not so fucked up, I'll say uh fucking being honest with you is um shit. That really was my family, guys. Rupert, yeah. That really was Rupert. But guys, I'm straight, okay? I'm straight. I'm straight as can be. So are I don't know what's wrong with this kid. He has a lot of problems. That is Stewie right there. Oh yeah, your sons of anarchy. Episode four.
SPEAKER_06Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_02Uh um uh five. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Well that was okay.
SPEAKER_02I mean it wasn't the best one I can give. I can tell you that.
SPEAKER_03Okay. I'm kinda hoping a few um like you know, a few like kills in there for like a yeah, like a nions. Yeah. But uh, I think I think what Jack's fucked up.
SPEAKER_02Oh, what Jack's fucked up?
SPEAKER_03Well yeah. Yeah, I mean he Well Jax was was kind of like in his like he was kind of like over his head a little bit.
SPEAKER_02Well see, episode four to me is like probably the weakest episode of season one. So like it doesn't grade well for me at all. It's like uh so you know how it starts off really well. One, two, and three starts off really good. Episode four is probably the first disappointment. Yeah, it really doesn't deserve to be disappointment, it's just the way that it's you know shot. Yeah. It's structured.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So for me, if for me, like my when I first watched it, I would say the grade was probably like uh probably 2.5.
SPEAKER_03A three, because um um of a juices a juices fuck up.
SPEAKER_02Well, yeah, yeah, that made it funny.
SPEAKER_03He gave Crystal. Yeah, what crystal meth.
SPEAKER_02Well to uh a rock uh a rot. Oh no, uh a uh Doberman. Doberman, yeah. He gave it to a Doberman.
SPEAKER_05Which is stupid when you should have given it a tranx.
SPEAKER_03I'm pretty sure it was it was combing it to the mouth, also.
SPEAKER_02Maybe they were hoping that it would die. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Instead, he's got what probably juice was hoping for, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's what juice was hoping for.
SPEAKER_03I want I don't have a little juice. Well, we'll try to have a conversation with uh I got his name.
SPEAKER_07Tig.
SPEAKER_03The tig is like it's like, oh, you want to be friends? Here.
SPEAKER_02Your dog bit yeah, the dog bit my ass.
SPEAKER_05You mean lick my balls about that?
SPEAKER_02No, I don't like it see. Here's my thing. First off, when I saw that episode, I was like, first off, Tig deserved it. Yeah. Tick always deserves it. He caused he caught he fucked corpses. Yeah. So he deserved. He deserved the ass. He deserved it. He deserved the ass biting. First off, he deserves being killed.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Wait, wait, wait, wait. Is someone who fucks corpse corpses worse than someone who fucks his teddy bear?
SPEAKER_05Yes. I'll give I will I'll go hands down, yes. Hands down, if you fuck a corpse, you're worse than fucking a teddy beat bear. Because the teddy bear is an inanimate object. That thing when you fucked your corpse, that thing used to be a person. Yeah. Or it still is technically a person. It's just their body.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Yeah. But the tight bear is like a f like a fuss um like a toy. Yeah, that's all it is.
SPEAKER_02A toy.
SPEAKER_03But corpse is like a is a person. Like a dead person, but still a person.
SPEAKER_02It also stinks. Like it's rampant. Yeah. Well, no, shit. It's he hasn't washed it. I can't believe she kissed him. I cannot believe she kissed him.
SPEAKER_00I cannot. She must really like his. What do you imagine that tastes like? Salty and salty.
SPEAKER_05Probably years of dried essence. I don't want to know.
SPEAKER_02I don't want to know what it tastes like, but it's it's definitely not the best taste in the world.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, but it's more funky.
SPEAKER_03Um ask a person who sucks a dick. And they'll tell you.
SPEAKER_02Well, she would know it tastes like this. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Salt. So anyway.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna be honest. Well, what Sun's in an arch game for you? Like, so you said three? Yeah, three. All right. Um I'm I'm I said 2.5, but only because like I very harsh on three when it comes down to it. But it wasn't like no, it's not a bad episode. You're critical. Well, no, it's not a bad episode at all. It's just like it's one of those ones where it's like like really nothing happened.
SPEAKER_03Like it's kind of weak, you know.
SPEAKER_02I saw a plug. It's like, oh yeah, we uh we uh we catched over this uh other biker game. That's all really that's the plot, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Like like you could have done lay off screen or something.
SPEAKER_02But you could have done more, like you could have done like more with the Mayans, you could have done more killing, like they just had like a shootout, and really nobody died.
SPEAKER_05Which is stupid, yeah.
SPEAKER_02But it also tells me that they have storetripper. Yeah. Yeah. So how do you how do you miss when you're that close? Good question.
SPEAKER_05Why can't I hit you?
SPEAKER_02No, it's like it's like the scene because I'm the main character.
SPEAKER_05It's like the scene in Family Guy with the writing from the Southern Cops.
SPEAKER_03Man, these guys are like like swerving through.
SPEAKER_02These guys are awesome.
SPEAKER_03Imagine Imagine Storm Sword Troopers that had a shooting range and uh and and then and then here's a target, and and they're like, he's ready. He's ready for war.
SPEAKER_02Are you sure? Because he missed like 15, he missed like 15 shots. Yeah, he hit he hit Carl the Night Jr.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I know, he's perfect.
SPEAKER_02That's the uh mine.
SPEAKER_01Hey guys, I can barely see out of this thing.
SPEAKER_03You're welcome.
SPEAKER_02That's the reason why they have bad aim.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Their helmets.
SPEAKER_03Probably uh oh yeah, but but the bikers and the they what's their excuse?
SPEAKER_02Their excuse is uh plot plot armor.
SPEAKER_03Plot armor, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Alright. I think we should get you think we should get to uh Avatar last every yeah, but all right, yeah, Avatar. Okay, so episode three. Well, season two. Of season two. Uh okay. So we'll do grades first.
SPEAKER_05Fair enough. I'll pull it up.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I forgot our grades.
SPEAKER_05I remember I think I remember mine at least. I got I got the notes. All right.
SPEAKER_03I remember I I remember putting on trading. Um singing. Yeah. Yeah. Montage. Definitely.
SPEAKER_02Alright, so I'm gonna be honest with you. Sharks, you're first with your grade.
SPEAKER_03What's your score?
SPEAKER_00Uh five. Uh I'll give this one a three.
SPEAKER_07Okay.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_02So three for the first uh for third episode. Alright, so. Oh Judy. Unfortunately, episode three. Um we all have the same score. Oh, okay. 4.5. 4.5?
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_02We gave it a 4.5. Um, this was the first of the boss scene to say, right? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Well, Judy. Yeah. I'm gonna be honest with you, creepy. Very creepy. She was creepy. Very creepy. She was creepier in the live action than she was in the cartoon, which I was surprised that they could do that.
SPEAKER_03Oh, then I think you meet what the uh um archaeologist or something.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, we meet the archaeologist. This is the day. They also have the cactus juice scene. Oh, so funny in this one. No, it wasn't. It was not. It was more funnier in the cartoon. Yeah, it was, yeah.
SPEAKER_00You know, and that's that really brings on the point that yes, Sokka has more humor in this season, but most of it is very, very forced.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it's kind of like a it's it's like a side-by-well side comparison.
SPEAKER_02Well, if you're doing a side-by-side comparison, the cartoons always. Well, no, but they had more imagery to showcase. Also, Mobile was fucked out too. Yeah, it was you!
SPEAKER_06You ran at the elves!
SPEAKER_02I'll talk about it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, mobile is hardly even.
SPEAKER_02Mobile or Apple are hardly in this.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I know, because honestly. That's that's what I had about it. That like a little screen time the animals. Well, let's eat. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_00To be fair, that is a lot of CGI. Well, that's a a bear. Oh yeah, they dicked the bear out. Yeah. Oh yeah. Bosco. They only have a painting of Bosco. The bear, yeah.
SPEAKER_03They could have like like on Two of Zoo, it just like I got.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and there's no zoo scene either.
SPEAKER_02Well, they didn't do the zoo scene, which to be fair, that was that that's kind of uh that's not really that's not really important to the story. Yeah, I mean it just showcases that his earth bending skills have improved.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that's it.
SPEAKER_02That's really all it is. To be honest with you, like that's not it's not important, it's not integral to the story at at all. So that's why I said like they don't really need the zoo zine. The zoo scene. Yeah. Also, like to be honest with you, they're setting out Jackie Chan to steal Apple.
SPEAKER_03Uh yeah, yeah. Um he looks like Jackie Chan, but Jackie Chan. But and then and then I have a flashback of the only guy. So my people's like, oh my god, Jackie Chan. Oh my god, Jackie Chan.
SPEAKER_02To be fair, you guys, you guys both laughed when I said Jackie Chan for the first time.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, because I said I then looked at him and oh my god, it's really Jack Chan. Looks like Jackie Chan.
SPEAKER_03Ethan Hawk!
SPEAKER_02Don't worry, Ethan Hawk. Don't worry, Jackie Chan's got this. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05We will help you get to the Earth King.
SPEAKER_02Nah, that's why to me, like I honestly, but the reason why it's a 4.5, realistically, I didn't think the story really was that bad. No, it wasn't, it they didn't really differ much from it. I agree, the cartoon with the cactus juice and the bear. And the bear, those are more, those are funny, and those are things that they should have had in the show, but they didn't do it. Um, I will agree with strong arms. There are moments where the jokes seem force, especially when it's from the cartoon. It's the it's the quenchiest. Yeah, that seems forced. Like that doesn't seem like he's comfortable with doing it. And because, in my personal opinion, you're playing most of the season so far. It's been serious, serious, serious, and then you want me to do this. Like, to me, that's more direction than it is the actor at fault, because that's more the director, because it's like he's been playing soccer kind of serious-ish through most of the season, and then you're having him try and be a jokester now. Like, that's uh that's stupid. That's kind of dumb.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, and although although I'll say there's a I I like Well subplot of a thriller, like um like like um I forgot his name.
SPEAKER_02The scientist is the yeah, the scientist being kidnapped. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, like like it's a whole it's a whole um um montage of Sako trying to um like like he gives him letters through the doors, like, hey, you been there?
SPEAKER_02Alright, well, yeah, yeah, they've been there for months.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and then and then finally like break in, you see all the letters on the background, you're like, okay, I think what's in this up.
SPEAKER_02Well, I also like the part where it's like the first episode three is the one where the uh like first you go in in Iro, yeah, they're going on the fair. Now it's completely different because they're not they don't have they it's not tickets to the fair. It's basically it's basically whoever they pick to go in.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Yeah to Boston's Day, which is and they just they kind of just sneak in.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, they kind of just sneak in. Which is fine. Um, like you also see Jet again uh in the speller B and Spell or B, which I still love that joke in the cartoon where it's like it's like that's a strange name for a boy. It's because I'm a girl. That's an everyday name for a girl. Oh, I rope. I just I just like the joke. That's a funny joke.
SPEAKER_03A cartoon I wrote is he's better legendary.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Well, he's legend, he's legendary. You're never gonna you're never gonna be that. That's still live action. This live action I row hasn't been that bad at all.
SPEAKER_03No, especially with the um Blue Ten scene.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah. Oh, well, that's episode four. Or episode four.
SPEAKER_00Um well you want to just jump right on into yeah, we can do episode, yeah.
SPEAKER_02We can do episode four. I'm gonna give my grade, I'm gonna I'm gonna lower it. Because uh after a week to think on it, because we saw this last week before my before our our um things. Uh so uh when I first graded it, I gave it a five. I'm gonna drop it to a four.
SPEAKER_05Okay.
SPEAKER_02Or four point five.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, four point five. Okay.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Uh I'm gonna join ginger beer at four point five for that episode. Yeah. Uh your what you was you you said five, are you sticking to it?
SPEAKER_05No, I'm gonna drop it to four point five as well.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Uh I think in the moment.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, it was really good because I was high during episode four because that double drink I took, but yeah, after a week. You know what, can I shut it, please? Um uh the I think after the like the emotional part were down. I re-looked at it and I was like, okay, yeah, it was emotional, but was it like five-worthy?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, wasn't it a five? No, it wasn't a five, it was not five-worthy. No, but everything else, it was perfect episode. Well, I like the blue spirit. Yeah, like I like the return of the blue spirit, and painful and the pain and lady working together. Yeah, and the way they did and lady. I like Lady. I like that. Like, I don't, and again, I don't mind. Again, I'm not, I'm not, I don't care that they're changing the story. It's their interpretation. So far, it's not that bad. Like so far, it hasn't been that bad.
SPEAKER_03It's good, pay fine. My opinion.
SPEAKER_02That's been it's been fine. It's been a lot better than season one. In my opinion. Season one felt like like they were trying to learn how to do it, like how to get everything working together. Season two seems like they figured out the notes and they figured out what they want to do, and they depth and the actors seem more comfortable in what they're doing.
SPEAKER_03I do I do I like how um they show Azula uh defeating the uh Kyoshi Warriors.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah, they definitely it's a lot different.
SPEAKER_05And I do like how the plan she did to get in is posing as a Kiyoshi. Which is basically like the cartoon.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_05Capturing the general.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but I also I really enjoyed how the general is telling Ain that the Day Lee are in charge. When he's really in charge. Yeah, yeah. Well, no, no, the Dai Lee is in charge. Yeah. They're in charge. And like they're not, like the generals aren't. I really enjoyed that because Ain doesn't believe it. Yeah, he thinks that you know he's their friends, yeah. Which is a good betrayal. I think that's a better betrayal than what we had in the cards. Wait, of Long Fang? Yeah, I think Long Fane's betrayal is a lot better played out in the line of action because yes, I do think Ain would be stupid. Like I think Ain would be trustworthy, especially if like you play Long Fane this way. Like, oh no, Ain, like I want you to succeed, like I want you to be able to talk to the Earth King. But unfortunately, the Earth King, he's kind of a dick.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. And the Dialy kind of control him who gets to see him.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so like the way that they made that portrayal, like I kind of like how they didn't because we guessed that that's what was happening. Like we knew that was gonna happen. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Oh, and did you also guess that the first episode, like the first part of the episode, is basically uh the scene from Squidward in tentacle acres.
SPEAKER_03Yes, yes, yes.
SPEAKER_00It's exactly like that.
SPEAKER_03I sort of don't feel like a playing clarinet today.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, to be honest with you, like I uh what Sean Ross, what's your score for four?
SPEAKER_00Also a three.
SPEAKER_02Okay, so he's he's not it's not it's not horrible.
SPEAKER_00Explain why I'm breaking everything as it is, because there are things that I like in the series and things that things that annoy me.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Things that absolutely piss me off. Oh, it's sporadic intervals.
SPEAKER_02I understand. Fair enough, yeah. Well, see, my thing's this is that like for me is um like with the comet thing, like my my thing is this. It's I think it was what was it episode three or it was episode four, where they said that he had been training with the waterbenders for about two years?
SPEAKER_05Yeah. It was episode two.
SPEAKER_02Wait, what? Wait, hang? Yeah, and then training with the waterbenders.
SPEAKER_05He was training, he was training in waterbending for two years. I don't know if he trained with them for two years.
SPEAKER_03I um I I missed the um um the years part.
SPEAKER_05Um top mentions it. She says, You've been training for two years ago.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, okay.
SPEAKER_02Well, yeah, she says that she she says it kind of in a way. So in that in that's now, it's like, okay, so there is like so there is a because obviously like he looks older than when he started, so clearly like they have to have like an age gap.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And it seems to me like their plan is to do season two and season three back to back.
SPEAKER_05And Aang is what, 12 years older originally in the beginning? Yeah, so now he's 14.
SPEAKER_02He's 12, so now he's 14. And and uh he he has puberty, so well that's the truth, but I also I'm not sure how like there's another thing too where it's like I'm not sure how I feel about Kistoff is the one who mentions uh Aang's crush to Katara. Yeah, I'm not sure how I feel about that because like then Katara starts acting weird after that. I'm just kind of like yeah, I don't know as a as a girl that you see him as like your little brother. I don't feel like it would change your opinion.
SPEAKER_05How you your opinion of him? I feel like it would change.
SPEAKER_00If you really want to get into it, they they only put in the painted lady with the blue spirit to appease the degenerate Zutara fans.
SPEAKER_05Oh, he come on! This is why you know what, strong arms? This is why you don't like the show, is because it proves Zutara is better. It proves it because Aang no Aang has no business being with Guitara and you know it deep down in your soul.
SPEAKER_00By by but hey, hold on, hold on. By this adaptation of it, then perhaps no, in all the adaptation, then you're a simp for Aang and Guitara.
SPEAKER_01No, not not him. Oh yeah, Aang's a simp, yes.
SPEAKER_02Aang was a simp in the original, yeah. Like it you can say that he was a simp in the original. I wish he were how is he a simp, honestly?
SPEAKER_05He puts guitar on a pencil and Aang's eyes, guitar can do no wrong.
SPEAKER_00Okay, there are plenty of scenes where like Aang gets so angry with her.
SPEAKER_03Like like one, like uh name one. Like Hoshi Island?
SPEAKER_02Are you talking about the APA shit? Because that was more human with APA and not with Kitara.
SPEAKER_00It's a distinction without a difference.
SPEAKER_05No, it's a difference without a distinction.
SPEAKER_00Really? Really, the only reason it even exists is because of the one scene in the catacombs. Actually, it exists because you're basing entire fiction off of that. No, you're wrong.
SPEAKER_05No, no, it's it's you know, Kyle.
SPEAKER_02It's also book three.
SPEAKER_05Kyle, I've I've told you, I think I've told you this group of multiple times. I've taken psychology multiple times, I've taken four different levels of psychology. They have the chemistry. Zuko and guitar have the sexual and raw and emotional chemistry. Aang and guitar have chemistry of a brother and sister. Okay? They don't match.
SPEAKER_03I wish ang was um, what's the word? Asexual?
SPEAKER_02No.
SPEAKER_03Celibate.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah. Celibate, asexual. Well, no, he can't be celibate because he He's a monk. Well, no, it's not that. It's he has to, he has to find someone to breed with because he in order to restore the air nomads, he has to have sex. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And it ends up being Katara, the end. No, who cares?
SPEAKER_03I would have him with um of the girl who liked him.
SPEAKER_02Quite honestly, I would have him with Tyler. Quite honestly, I would have him with Tyler.
SPEAKER_03Tylee, same Tylee.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, because Tylee's the most like an airbender. She it she she's an airhead.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, and and not to mention she has no bending, so she all all child children they would produce would be airbenders.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, which Tenzin, which Tensin groups, that's why their kids end up getting together. Well, wait, what? Ang's kid, Tenzin, and Tylee's daughter. Oh, really?
SPEAKER_02Wait, really? Yeah, that's Ty Lee's daughter. Yeah, I didn't know that. It's like a really deep cut.
SPEAKER_00The more you know. That's why that exists.
SPEAKER_02No, but that's why, but that's the writer saying, yeah, we probably shouldn't have had him with Guitara because now, like it makes sense. Well, no, now you're fucked because one is a waterbender, one ended up being a no, a no-bender, and then the other one is uh airbender. Didn't he get bending later on? He got bending later on, but that was because of some spiritual spiritual shit. And the spiritual shit never happened. He would be a non-bender, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, true.
SPEAKER_02He would carry the DNA of an airbender, but it's like it's like the fucking it's like Star Wars and Squibbs and shit. Harry Potter. Yeah, that's basically what it is. It's like Harry Potter. They read Harry Potter, and then they brought it to Avatar Last, they brought in the Legends of Cora.
SPEAKER_07Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. And the problem with it, and that's the that's always the problem, and that's the uh that's the other reason. Because Legends of Horror exists, that gives more argument to the Zutara people. Yeah. Because it's like, well, if Ain wanted to restore the air nomads, he should have ended up with a non-bender. Because he ends up with a waterbender, it kind of fucks the plan because now his son, Tenzin, does end up with the girl he likes. Yeah. He picks the one that is like, well, I need I need airs. I need airbenders.
SPEAKER_03I never understood how the son Boomy ever got like the towers because I thought I thought all airbenders are are born airbending.
SPEAKER_02Like because I think it was the water I think it was the waterbending DNA that was blocking it.
SPEAKER_03I guess, yeah.
SPEAKER_05So he gets airbending boomy? Well later on.
SPEAKER_03But but because of like a the spirit.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, spirit uh the spirit awakening wakens up all the airbenders.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_02Which would also tell you that the Fire Nation didn't eradicate all the airbenders because they're nomads. They weren't all at the temple. Yeah. They were they were across the they were across the nations. So those airbenders could have stopped using their bending because they didn't want to be found out. Yeah, yeah, and crop. And for a hundred years, they had kids, and those kids had kids, and then kids had kids, and they all just didn't bend. Yeah, so they they probably had the they probably had the ability to bend, but because they never got over this, they were never shown how to do it. Yeah, they could never do it.
SPEAKER_03Wow, that's that's pretty interesting, actually.
SPEAKER_02But that's how but that's how I you know interpret the story. Yeah, right. But that's why I said like the this the what this season is showing is that Netflix is basically saying, We don't know what we're gonna do. It could be Zutaro, it could be Katang. We're just doing this because it makes a good story, it makes an interesting story. Also, Zuko doesn't do anything, he just he just stands there. Yeah, with the lets her go. Yeah, which would tell you that like Zuko is also conflicted because like in the last episodes, he's been kind of like, I don't know what to do. Yeah, yeah, I don't know who to believe. Like, do I believe do I believe my uncle? Do I believe my sister? Whatever, fucking. Yeah, yeah, father. Like, I don't know. Which I don't like. Yeah, I like that conflict.
SPEAKER_01I like the confliction, yes. Because it's a completely like it, it's a completely different interpretation of his redemption story.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah. So I'm like, yeah, no, I'm I'm like like we're at 149.36. Yeah, yeah, we're fine. So so so long, I'm I'm let's see what five, six, and seven. Yeah, and then we'll grind those next week. This is another fun episode of the Cannonbell Podcast. Uh signing off. Peace. Later, let me yo.
