Hello, and thank you. I am Jason Hardin. And welcome back to another great episode of life of a boss, the place where we teach you how to be the boss that you were meant to be. And today is all about perspective. You know what I went to a Black Hollywood Legend Luncheon. And it was featuring Della Reese, you know, she's a definitely late great legend. And Bill Duke was there. And one thing she said stuck out to me forever, I'll never forget this. She said, change your mind, and you'll change your life. You know, and it was very simple, but it was so powerful because that's how easy it is to change your life. Now if you want to know what perspective is perspective is nothing more than a point of view. So you got to understand how powerful a point of view is. And the ability to see from other people's perspectives or point of view is so valuable when solving other people's problems solving your problem seeing a situation in a way that can that you can overcome it, whatever it is, whatever the case may be, but if you have a different perspective, you know how to change perspectives, you're a lot more equipped to solving a problem you know, and that's why it's so important that's why I'm bringing it up today because perspective and success go hand in hand. You know what I'm saying? And I'm gonna tell you what also goes hand in hand with with prospective attitude you know, perspective how you see something is also a reflection of your attitude and we all know that a great attitude can get you out of problems can get you can get you through hard times can get you out of depression it's attitude that makes the difference between a bad situation getting worse or a bad situation getting better. So basically, perspective is the key to success and if you need help changing perspective there's so many ways to do that the best thing you can do the first thing you can do get him into a you know if you want to be successful in life I don't care what industry you're trying to be successful in a mentor is so vital you know a mentor is key and then if you can get a mentor by now if you just need a quick change of perspective read read read on subjects that that that matter to you read on subjects all about what you're trying to accomplish or figure out and if not read about other things she I used to not like nonfiction you know, I mean, I used to not like fiction I only read nonfiction because I thought that was the only thing that could help me you know, teach me how to do some. But then I started reading fiction I got I got a book and somebody gave it to me and I've read it and it just it was inspiring even though nothing in it was real. All of it was like fantasy or made up. It was just that perspective. You know that that that whimsical perspective, that fantasy perspective that allowed my brain to kind of relax and become inspired and and think of other things that I wouldn't have thought about? Had I just read something technical, you know, so, perspective changes can come from anywhere, you just have to embrace it. But like I said, Man, you can turn a problem into a profit if you see it differently. So that's my word for today man didn't want to leave you hanging but that's it.
