Over the past 12 months, Ether Cards has developed the world’s first NFT Launching platform that enables anyone to release their own collection of NFTs in a streamlined and highly customizable manner. A one-stop-shop for artists, athletes, creators, celebrities, businesses to tailor make their NFTs in a way that suits their particular contexts. The platform has the self-service capability (another world first) for users to release their NFTs, but also offers the Ether Cards team to provide a bespoke service.
In order to use the platform, creators will need to hold an Ether Cards genesis NFT (known as the Ether Cards Founder collection on OpenSea). These went on pre-sale in March 2021 for hefty prices (starting at 0.5ETH for cheapest tier, 20ETH for highest tier) and a good amount of faith. As can be expected, the higher tier cards (OGs and Alphas) have increased value due to their scarcity, the uniqueness of the art, and the rarity and nature of their usable traits.
Ether Cards has a huge armory of usable traits (all on-chain and already built) that provide cardholders with benefits. Traits can be divided into three categories that vary in rarity and value: Limited Edition (13 unique), Random Edition (34 unique), and Conditional Traits (14 unique).
Some examples: 1/ Golden Goose - Drops a Blind Bag to the cardholder every time Ether Cards holds a Blind Bag event. 2/ Free ticket creation - Waives the fee for creating a Ticket event on the Ether Cards event platform.
Ether Cards have developed their own Dust Token which will be the currency to be used on the platform. The genesis Ether Cards NFTs passively generate this token (at rates dependent on the rarity e.g. OG and Alpha type holders gain exponentially more). Holders can benefit from this by exchanging it in the token pool for Ethereum and other exciting drops and utility.
