There is something extremely peaceful and life giving about holding a sleeping toddler in your arms, and the blessing goes both ways. It pleases God when we seek out that kind of peace and embrace in God's arms. With the coming of Christ, Emmanuel, we no longer need to journey to a specific place to receive this kind of embrace, because God is with those of us who have received Christ as Savior. Psalm 131-132; 1 Corinthians 6:19
