The Song of the Lord

The Song of the Lord is given by the Holy Spirit for the Lord's people to worship Him in Spirit and in truth; the Word of God with the Holy Spirit. With such sacrifices God is well pleased. Do not bring to Him any offering which is marred or defiled; a song of the flesh, for He is a great King and worthy to be praised! Jesus said, God is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. The Father seeks such to worship Him. The lyrics to the songs are in the transcript.

In The Morning Will I Rise

By David Hickman

Will you show wonders to the dead?

Shall the dead arise and praise your name?

Shall thy mercies be declared in the grave,

Thy faithfulness in destruction?

Shall thy wonders be known in the dark,

Thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?

And in the morning shall my prayer come to meet thee,

Or will you hide your face from me?

Yes, I’ll show wonders to the dead

Yes, the dead shall rise and praise your Holy Name

My mercies be declared in the grave

My faithfulness in destruction

Yes, My wonders shall be known in the dark

My righteousness in the land of forgetfulness

And in the morning shall thy prayer come to meet me

I’ll not hide My face from thee

In the morning will I rise

Though every man forsake me,

On this I will rely

Though hell and death prevent me

And swallow up my life

In the morning will I rise
