Show Notes

Pardon the Interruption! It’s time for a Criterion Break!!!

On this week’s episode, another weekend of awesome programming at The Sioux Falls State Theatre leads to a screening we never anticipated: Blake and Andy were able to catch the 4K restoration of Akira Kurosawa’s Ikiru with special guest and friend of the show, Back Lot 605’s Derrick Veurink. The three discuss Kurosawa and their immediate reactions to the film, and how its message speaks to them in different ways.
