Recording. All right, you heard it first. All right. Hey guys, welcome back to Unstoppable Series. Now, if you're just tuning in, this has been recorded over a month ago. So we're back because like the 2026 came in roaring, it also took away the recording. So we are recreating this special awesome podcast with my very good friend, Miss Chelsea. How are you today? I'm good. I am great. I'm so glad we can do this again. And it's like we can see you again. Yes. So it was so funny. I was like, man, we had such a good podcast. I was like, how can we recreate it? I was like, it's me and Chelsea. We will recreate it because that's just what we do. We're full of personality. So, Chelsea, I'm gonna let you introduce yourself, your business, because we're gonna talk about everything, like how you got started and just life in general. Just go ahead and just give you a full LinkedIn version quickly of how of you, of you.

SPEAKER_00:

Hi, Chelsea Sagittarius. I'm just gonna um I own Skin Confidence Med Spa here right off the square. It's actually next door. And then I co-own this place, which is studio 226, which is a little photography studio. Um I am married to my wonderful husband, Michael, and I have two kids, Liam and Lorelei.

SPEAKER_01:

Awesome.

SPEAKER_00:

Good stuff.

SPEAKER_01:

And we're gonna get into everything that she's done to like how she got into the industry, what kind of guts it took to get into the industry, because this is not an easy profession and be to leave a salary position and to go into something and start something on your own. Not only that, but to be very successful. So you're not only one business owner, you're two business owners. Yes, a mom, a wife, all the things. So, yeah. So go ahead and kind of what made you really want to take the leap? Like, what was that moment where you're like, okay, I'm working in Ultra, Ultra. Um, but my husband jokes because I joke around with him. I call it Ultra on purpose because he gets upset when I do it. So I do it. And so when I really need to say it right, I can't because I'm a smart aleck to him.

SPEAKER_00:

So I'm gonna call it Ulta. It's I'm like, there's not a.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, there's not like you're good. You're good. You're good. So how what made you say, okay, this is it? I'm gonna do this for myself and take that leap of faith.

SPEAKER_00:

Um, I think a lot of things went into it. I think the main thing was I spent a lot of money on my aesthetic schooling, and I just did not feel like I was putting all that into use. I was uh, like they call it like brow girls, right? That's what we were. I was a brow girl. And um, I was just waxing and it just sucks like being on my feet 12 hours a day, back to back. I mean, there was days where I was doing like 50 browls and um I was not getting paid commission, so I was getting paid hourly. When you would like even it out, like I was making them way more money than they were paying me. Um, and then they were like getting worried about our tips, and then um it was just like uh the culture there was very like catty and like putting people against each other and mean girly. Yes, I hated it. Um and they would always tell me, like, you're not mean enough, you're not mean enough. But I'm like, I don't want to be mean. That's not who got me to be. Yeah, right. Mean to who? Like who you want me to be mean to? Like it was a competition, and I didn't like that. And um, my final straw was a GM pulled me aside and she took me into the office, and she was like, It's a shark eat shark world, and you're just a fish, and you'll always just be a fish. And I think something just clicked with me. It was like, it does not have to be this way. No, um, and I went home. Me and my husband, boyfriend at the time, we just bought a house. We had no business buying a home. We were like 21. We were babies, we were like, we're gonna buy this home and we're gonna chuck and Joanna. We did nothing to that. Oh love it. Uh, I think it was like month one, like he had just gotten back from a little deployment, and I walked in and I'm like, so I'm quitting my job. And he's like, What? I'm like, Yeah, I'm gonna give them a six weeks' notice, which I thought was very nice. Um, and I'm opening up my own spa, so I need you to pay the mortgage for a couple of months, and he's like, Okay, luckily we were he had a really good job, so he was able to do that. Um, he gave me a gear, I did it in six months, but yes, girl. Yes, yes. Um, but I'm so grateful that he was so supportive. But um, yeah, I went in the next day, I gave my told him I'd give him six weeks to train the new person, and I don't think they took me seriously because on my last day I was like, all right, bye, it was so nice meeting everybody. And they're like, wait, what? Wait, what, you're really like waiting? Yeah, I gave you a six week notice. Um and I just went full in. I was like, it was me and another girl going together. We got a suite, and that was like, I remember like getting sick to my stomach, signing that contract because it had to be in my name, and um, because you could only have it in one person's name. And um bless her, it was like we were about to move in. Her husband or her dad was in construction and he fell off. Fell down the stairs or fell off a roof or something and um broke his back. And um, she had to go back home to take care of him. He had no one else to take care of him. So, and I just think everything happens for a reason. I think if I had someone else helping me pay that weekly rent, that I wouldn't have worked as hard. I think that was like God's way of being like, it's all on you, baby girl.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, why do we do that? I thought about that the other day. Why we're so capable of being great all the time, but why it's something in our past that we went through. There's something there. If we really study it, there's some trauma there. Because I just said that to my husband last night. Why do we wait to our backs against the wall to be so creative and come up with the best ideas and make the best business decisions when we're secure? We don't do that.

SPEAKER_00:

It's like your fight or flight mode.

SPEAKER_01:

It's fight or flight, yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

And I'm very like, if I'm comfortable, yeah, I'm just gonna like be comfortable. Yeah. So it takes a lot to like kick me out of the nest, I guess. I agree. I see that, yeah. You're right. It has to like our children.

SPEAKER_01:

That is just so triggering that you said that. And I know these viewers probably feel the same way. Like, think about if you really sit there and think about how successful you've been, when is it have been, when it's crunch time, when you are back against the wall, how am I gonna feed everybody? How am I gonna pay the bills? That's when you that's when the biggest breakthroughs happen.

SPEAKER_00:

I mean, I think that was like the best thing that ever happened to me.

SPEAKER_01:

Very, very smart. Yeah. Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_00:

I went off to the wall. I was posting everywhere, I was getting clients, I was um, I mean, I knew nobody. Like, I knew the couple girls I went to um aesthetic school with that none of them lived here.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Um, a lot of them like lived in Manchester and like further out.

SPEAKER_01:

Right.

SPEAKER_00:

And um, the people I went to Ulta with, but they're not gonna like they weren't making enough to make figures. Right. And then I had two best friends and they were in college. So it's like they were like, we'll be your models, like you know, so they helped me in that sense. But my husband worked at a job that was like a hundred percent men, it was all young men. Right.

SPEAKER_01:

So you couldn't like go there and be like, okay, let me do a vaginal. Yeah, even though you do man, she does man. Okay, but at first you're trying to get women climbed out with it.

SPEAKER_00:

With referrals only. Yes, with referral. It could be creepy, yes, yes. Um, but it was just kind of like I just I mean, I knew nobody, so it was kind of like, all right, girl, you're gonna have to go out there and do it. And sometimes I feel like I know I'm a lot, and I always get like self-conscious, and like I wanna like and I think sometimes people see me on social media and they're like, oh, okay. So like she's like that all the time. Like, I would be, but like I just get so paranoid in like group situations, like I have a lot of trust issues, like this aesthetics world is oh no, so catty.

SPEAKER_01:

Somebody was saying the same thing the other day. Yeah, yeah, it'll make you check your ego like quick.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, like it gets like me, and I'm like, oh, and I don't want to be that way, but it's like you're you're like calculating, like, oh my gosh, like did they do this because of this? Like, it's just so insane. So I feel like I have um it was really funny. Like, we did uh videos for we're in a Bible group together, and we did the videos for like our Bible group, and I was like, I don't really know what to say. Like, I just love all the girls so much. And I was like, I mean, I guess you before or not, I like didn't really have a lot of trust. And Ginger was like, you did it. I was like, Well, that girl block me. Block me. Um what you really think, Jim? Yeah, it's a bit judging.

SPEAKER_01:

Um, but no, no, you're just saying like the aesthetic world. I love I love this. And we do not we are authentically raw. Yes. We are just gonna come in here and we are going to shoot because I'm showing you that you don't need a producer to start. You do this and you go as you go, right? And you can you redo your podcast if you didn't forget me recording. Right. Okay. You just never do it.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Um, oh, I know I'm alive. Yeah, I'm I'm alive. But we love that about you. Yeah, well, some people do it. Yeah, I love it about you. And we're like, I don't think you're alive. I'm like, it's because you're alive. Yeah. Um like that. What's the what are you talking about? Um sometimes I for so long I just try to be like this um prim and proper, like, you should get a facial because of X, Y, and Z. And like, you know, speak so quietly. Because like in my head, that's what I thought. Right. I was always told, like, you're too much, you know.

SPEAKER_01:

And do the educate, you said that people tell you do educational.

SPEAKER_00:

And you're like, oh I love to educate a girl when she's on my bed. When she's on your bed, yeah. Like my aesthetic bed. Yeah. Um let's just put that in a disclaimer, yeah, just in case, yeah. Um I love to educate, and like the way I educate is like funny analogies. Like I'm always like, hey, like this is a team. I'm your Patrick, you're Travis Kelsey. Like we got like, if I'm throwing the ball and you're not catching it, we're not gonna get it. Yeah. And if I'm like that on social media, people are gonna be like, what? Like, but we're one-on-one and I can know what your concerns are. Like, I love I love educational content, but like I've gotten so to the point where I've gotten so geeked out about something, and like I just see people's eyes glaze over because they don't care, they just want whatever's special and they don't need to know that. So I was just being this like barely showing my face because I was self-conscious about that, like just not being me. And then I was realizing, like, hey, like I I was very fortunate that I had a clientele and they were all telling me, like, hey, like, why are you weird on social media? Like, you're like either not doing it, you'll go months without posting, or when you're doing it, you're like a robot, and you're like, This is the epidermis, like in right, right?

SPEAKER_01:

Like build now the science got facials, right?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, this is all your skin is dry, right? And like if you're not confident in yourself, and yeah, and like I I like funny content. Like I'm funny, yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

You are, you are. I love watching your content.

SPEAKER_00:

So I was like, you know what? I'm just gonna be funny online. Yeah, and I think that's what really like shifted it because then it's like I show my personality, I show that I'm a lot. Um, and then that brings people in. And I was really worried that it would it would deter some people that are like extrovert or introvert. Introvert, yeah. Um, and no, like people come in and they're like, hey, like I would go somewhere and like they expect you to put on a show, like you tell them about your life, you do this, and like I don't want to sit in silence, but I also don't want to like feel like I have to be like this is me. And she's like, I like I booked with you because like I knew like if I'm an awkward silence, like either you're gonna fill it or you're gonna let me be in. Yeah, exactly. Um so I was like, okay, maybe that need to shove this.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah. Um get you another real you.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes. And you know, you already like the client already feels like you're their friend before they even walk in the door. And that builds trust. Yeah. Um, and then that also builds like, I mean, I know like I'm weird. Like, I'm gonna Google a parking, the parking situation before I get somewhere. Same girl saying. Because I get anxiety. Yeah, Monday night, one of Liam's friends, um, their husband like works for a company that gets them sweets sometimes, and like I was like, we can't turn that down. Like, it's neat. They're sweet lines clean up. Yeah. The I always park at the one parking garage, the music city. Yeah, the music city.

SPEAKER_01:

You're you're the president, right? Yeah, music city is right there just in front of me.

SPEAKER_00:

If I'm like going somewhere else, like that is where I'm the cheapest downtown, and it's nice, and like I know where to get around, I know how to get out. Like that's my comfort parking. Yeah, I go to park in there and it's closed, it's it was full. And I was like, What do I do? I had a nervous breakdown, and I didn't do where to park. Luckily, I remember like six years ago, I parked at the Hilton and they do like free ballet, or not free valet, but they do ballet, and it was like the same price. So, and I just simple little walk. So now I have two parking spots. That's good to know. Okay, so lucky there you go. In Hilton, yeah. Yeah, park at the Hilton, the ballet for you, and you just text them, and your car's already ready for you, and it was like 30 bucks.

SPEAKER_01:

So that's not bad at all. That's not bad at all, and you have to go to the parking garage, that's worth it, yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

But like it's kind of like that, like my parking anxiety is like people get anxiety of like, oh, I don't know them, like I don't know how they are, how do I act? Like, if you're showing yourself online, people are gonna come in already. Like, there's times where I'm like have a new consultation, I get nervous. I'm like, oh my gosh, I know they like me. Yeah, and like they're all like, hey bro, like they already feel like they know me, or they're like, I've tried your coffee order that you talk about, or love that. I did this, I did that, and like it's stuff that you've talked some, but I'm like, Yeah, they know that.

SPEAKER_01:

I'm like, because of social media, but that's good though. It means that they're watching, and just because if you're posting and you're not getting hearts, people still watch. Watch. And it's not that they don't mean to. I mean, yeah, you're gonna have your haters that are secretly hoping that you fail. Shout out to my right girl, hate watch me, hate watch me, make that algorithm go oh, yes, but a lot of people are just busy. Like, I have so many of my friends, and I'll watch their stuff and I'll go back. I'm like, okay, but I didn't like it, but I loved it. I watched it all the way through. I just get we're such a scrolling person that we just forget. It's like a habit, but then they'll see me, they're like, Oh, I watched it. I'm like, Well, you're liking it, and then all of a sudden they're like, Okay, but they're watching it, that's good, but they really are supported, and it's just that they're busy, they don't take it partial, just keep posting it, keep posting.

SPEAKER_00:

And I do it too, it's like I can't be like, Don't do it, but we get so hooked up on like that only got 200 views. Yeah, if 200 people were in a room with you, like a 10 minutes that's I got 200 views.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah. Um, so it's like and be consistent and do it. And let's uh there's so much I want to hit on because it's like you've said so many good points. I'm serious. No, it's good though, because one, if you're just starting a business, what I what I remember you telling me before is you didn't know anybody, you didn't know a lot of people, anyways, and you got on like the Murphy's World pages and you were going to like that not really happy hours, but you know, you were putting yourself in front of people and you actually got an influencer that really helps you with your career, right? Yes, yes, yes.

SPEAKER_00:

Um so I have two of like these, I mean, um I call them influencers, they don't call themselves that but they have a good they have a good um social media presence. Yes, and people trust them. One reach out to me and um I'm not from here. So like when it came to like who was popular around here, I would not even go to school here. Right. Um and she like owned a restaurant and she's like, hey girl, like I need to get in. Can we like swap out? And she was like, she did like healthy meals. And I was like, Yeah, I mean, sure, yeah, sure. A girl who needs to eat. Um swapped out, she came in and I gained like a crap ton of followers. And I'm like, Who is this girl? Like she had posted about me. And um, so I re I texted her, I was like, Who are you? Like, what is this?

SPEAKER_01:

What is this?

SPEAKER_00:

And um, her name's Julia, but sorry, it's not Mitzvah, she's married now. Uh, love her to death. Um, she has just become one of the best friends ever. I love her dearly. Um, and she's just really well known here. And um she doesn't own the restaurant anymore, but I have a referral program. And if you refer five people, you get a free service because I just feel like you need to reward the people to you talking about you. Absolutely. Um, and rarely does she have to pay. Like there's so many people that still to this day are like, even though she's I think it's been like eight, nine years she's been coming to me, still people will be like, Oh my god, I saw you on Julia's post. And I'm like, that's awesome. Crazy. Shout out to Julia, go follow her. Yeah, she's amazing. She's a home builder. Well, her and her husband are home builders, and it's mills field construction, they're amazing. Awesome, and they're really online, they're like popping off on TikTok right now. That's awesome. That really helped me. Um, and I think that was like a wake-up call. Like, I tell everyone, I feel like when people open a business, they're especially when it's like local, it's not something you can do online. Right. Their first instinct is like, let me grab these influencers. Yeah, influencers are great, but if they're not local, if they don't have a local follower, that's not gonna do anything for you.

SPEAKER_01:

And you need to be very, if you are a business owner, gonna use this strategy. I was helping one of my friends in Nashville that was trying to get it, and she's like, Megan, she's like, I know you do influencing, but you're like, you will do, you will keep your word. You know, like if you are gonna come in and do videos and push out content, but there's a lot of influencers that are very that they're great people and they will help your business. So I'm not pro-influen, I influence your influencer. We we technically are influencers, right? If you're on social media posting content, but that you gotta be careful because sometimes they'll do so many, you gotta really be black and white with what you're doing. So as a business owner that's just starting up, make sure that's in a contract or something written if you do that. Because, like my friend in Nashville, she gave all these free services, and I don't think she got the first video or just maybe one that was just put thrown together. So protect yourself when you do that too. So in your case, it was very organic and very no, you did very loud. But you but that's good though, because you get somebody local and just word of mouth and just put yourself out there. The key to that story that I want you guys to know is is that if she didn't put herself out there, it would not have you would not have been in front of those people. It would not have been and speaking of editing, we're gonna look at something really quick. I'm just gonna make sure we're still, oh, we're still talking. Okay, yay, sorry, you saw that head. But we're we're looking, and like I said, we don't have an editor professionally editing this. We're doing this for you guys. This is gonna be on all the platforms. So a lot of times people are gonna hear us versus see us, but um, we had to make sure it just said make it unstoppable. If this popped up, I was like, nope, it better be recording still. Uh because we it you got something good to say, and I know that people are wanting to hear it, and you have a message to tell people because Satan's trying to like destroy our podcast by making us record it again. I'm just kidding. But um, so yeah, so the the influencers just put yourself out there. I really wanted to hit on that because so many business owners they get stuck on the views being low, they get stuck on I don't have time. I promise you, if you have time to scroll, you have time to post a video.

SPEAKER_00:

I'm probably not the best person to like get onto this. Like, I really went into a rant this the other day. Like, I love to support local businesses, but my biggest pet peeve is when people are like, I don't have time for social media, like, or they're on like complaining that they don't have customers, the clients coming in, and it's like, yeah, it's hard. Like, I am like, I'm trying to get better at like being more understanding, but I had to bust my butt to get to where I'm at. Yeah, didn't come easily. I had no, like my mom, bless her. Oh, her she I'm from Mount Juliet, but my mom, no member, I'm from Gladesville, not Mount Juliet, but it's right literally so small.

SPEAKER_01:

No, I get it.

SPEAKER_00:

But uh my mom moved to Jackson. Um, so like I don't have like a big group of like my mom's friends coming to me. Right. I don't all my high school friends, they all live in like that area so or have moved away. Like none of them, like I had to build my clientele from the bottom. So when people are we're born and raised here and they're complaining, I'm like, why aren't you reaching out to your mom's friends? Why aren't you reaching out to these people? Why are you not posting every day? Every single day, yes, even if it's just like, hey girl, I'm still here, yeah, I'm still doing something. Yeah, um top of mind, it's top of mind world because if you are out of sight, you are out of the way. That's so true. And yeah, some people are gonna be like, Oh, she's so annoying, but not everyone watches stories every day, not everyone's on Instagram every day. Like, you've gotta get on there and you have to sell yourself. You do. And why should someone come to you versus going somewhere else? Yeah, it's there's an aesthetician, there's a restaurant, there's a amen.

SPEAKER_01:

I just said this way over here.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes, you gotta set yourself apart. And then they have to like you and fall in love with you, yeah. And like there are people that aren't for me, and that is okay. You'll find your people by being you, your people will come to you, and if you are pretending to be someone else that you're not, you're gonna attract people that you're not gonna want as comments. No, and they're gonna leave you the first time you do something wrong. Yes, and it's like you have to put yourself out there, which sucks. I know, like it's not fun, even for someone like me that's outgoing. Like, I get in my head because I'm like, I don't want these people to think I'm crazy or that I'm like too much. But by being myself, I'm getting clients that I like I blur the lines a lot. So I mean, you'll see people like, your clients are your clients. My clients are my friends, like and we might only see each other once a month, but pick up but you like that month like the next time like okay girl fill me in on your team what is going on yeah like I know more about them than some of their friends or their significant others I know like most of my clients have to tell me they're pregnant before they tell their family because I'm like literally about to put a laser on their face or oh by the way I'm pregnant yeah we can't do this today yeah um so you have to build a relationship and I think a lot like it's I I don't have a work life balance and I feel like if you're in an industry where you own your own business like it's just unfortunately not a thing. And it's okay to be like worn down. It's okay and then there's a time and place to talk about that and to vent about that but like going online and being like I've got like 40 messages on my inbox like I swear I'll get back to you as soon as possible. If I'm a client I'm seeing that I'm like no I agree with you on that.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah I know some people that have just nailed their coffin by that.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah and it's like girl I feel that I feel that but it takes two seconds to go in look at all those reply back if you can if not like have Instagram has auto messaging it will message them send them all the information they can and they can hit book now um or book a consultation so we know exactly what you need or that you need to reschedule your appointment this is the link.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah um AI girl yeah and it's free on Instagram it's free yeah and it's your best friend to learn it and people keep preaching it I'm like no you need to learn it whether you agree with it or not you got to learn it because it's coming it's here it takes like an hour to set it up and like and it sounds like it's you.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah it auto messages like it is you um like Mommy even says hey girly pop I love it but that's you though then that's something that is you yeah but um and I think you can even like attach your schedule to it so we can tell people when to move or like I just have it where like people can just move. Yeah. But when you do stuff like that people are gonna unfortunately be like ooh like it has to be 80 20 20% your life your personality 80% business. Yeah and you have to do both because if you're only showing business they don't feel like they trust and know you yeah if you only show business they're like or only show personal they're like well crap what is she even did she ever work yeah and it sucks but but you have to balance it out and you have to be grateful because like I'm so lucky and I think it's because I saw my husband work a job we had to wake up crack a dot go work in a factory come home looking like he just went through some crap covered in tar he worked at Bridgetown for years. It's a hard job it's a good it's a good paying job but it's a hard job and it like I they were really good at like reeling them in like that like you're 20 making$35 an hour almost like a goat and handcuff yeah yeah like you're he's making more than all his friends with college degrees he's like I can't leave here um so we were and that I'm not gonna talk about like it provided us for with so much um but it was like I see that and I get to go into work and kiki with my girls all the day like complain about that that's I'm so grateful people are choosing to spend their money that they worked hard for for a job they probably don't like to come to me and give me an hour of their time where they can be doing whatever they want and they choose me for self-care like I'm gonna be so grateful but you're pouring into you're pouring into those girls too because and the key is self-care and I want to hit on that as well.

SPEAKER_01:

So with your I mean we're gonna how to follow her how to book how to go online before we get done here but when I was new to the facial world like I knew nothing Botox world I knew nothing um I was afraid to call an ass because I felt stupid um and there's somebody out there today that is is like that I know they're gonna be like I don't know like like you know I don't know tell people like you don't you see that all the time you don't have to have all these years of hampering like you're okay with somebody saying I don't know where to start exactly it's okay you have this yes I get so sad when people come in and they're like hey this is a dumb question or like I don't know this I don't know that I'm like girl I went to school for this not you that's like me going to a lawyer and being like I don't know the laws and they're like duh that's why I went to school for this but yeah I don't expect anyone to know anything like the only time I've ever been like oh my god is one time a man told me his skin was really bad and I'm like what is happening we're trying to figure it out and he's like he's like I don't know and then after I'm like racking my brain he finally was like oh well I have him wiping my face with some Fluorox wipes in my truck and I was like yeah that's yeah like can help you there baby but uh let's uh let's put those in the head those for the table yeah yeah for home picking only yeah um and even then I was like I my eye was twitching but I was like okay let's let's reverse yeah um but I don't expect anyone to know anything and yeah there are so many ingredients I'm gonna be honest with you you go to aesthetic school just to get that license you don't know you learn you learn you have to do a cat a continued education um I remember like the first day I like started old so that was my first aesthetics job um a rep came in and she was like spitting off all these like ingredients and I was like oh I'm never gonna be able to do this because I don't know anything she just said.

SPEAKER_00:

So I went home and I googled all of them. Now I cannot pronounce most of them so I like abbreviate them because some of them are super long. But you gotta know like I didn't know the layers of the skin that well I had to go learn that I took educational classes outside of it to learn these things and like me and my husband were joking the other day like he was saying something about I don't know something it was out a different country or whatever and I was like oh that's in Spain. Oh he was like oh I'm gonna go to um someplace in Spain um for work just kidding and I was like or somewhere and I'm like oh in Spain he's like oh you knew that I'm like yeah like I went he he went to any open I'm surprised you knew that honestly and he was like um well you just don't know a bunch of history and I'm like uh well first off rude yeah second off um yeah I don't have to know history I just have no skin yeah exactly you're like um he was gonna be a history teacher and he's gonna but um I'm like I like I had to learn that but in any other science don't ask me I don't know but if when it comes to the skin I know my I try my best to know everything possible and I think that is what sets aestheticians apart and it unfortunately you would hope that the school would teach you these things but they don't no and you have to learn all different types of skin unfortunately schools only teach about white people yeah you gotta have to learn all the other because you can't do what you would do on someone with our skin tone with someone with a darker skin tone.

SPEAKER_01:

So you have to learn all that so it's kind of like you pay all this money to go to school but then you have to pay all this other money for continuous right and because you want to do the best job for your client and I think that that is very admirable and respectful that you went into the time to actually learn that way you can you know know exactly what somebody needs when they come in yeah because then I wouldn't be like hey girl like I don't know like like everything's dry and itchy won't put motion all over it again like stop using jargons and use something that doesn't have mineral in it. Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah but yeah I don't expect anyone to know anything um and honestly sometimes I'd rather that than the people coming in thinking they know everything from TikTok I'm like that's not that's not true. Yeah uneducating yeah but I I don't and I don't like that people have made them out like everyone has their own social media like uh schnick you know mine's funny but some of them are kind of like further friends and they're like are you dumb like this is what you do and like that scares me. No that would make me go other way. Right. Some people want that yeah and that's great but I feel like it's gonna traumatize some people because then they come in they're like I'm so sorry I don't know what that means girl.

SPEAKER_01:

You don't you don't have to know what that means it's fine. I'm like well that's hard enough I don't need somebody yelling at me about not knowing what glycerin is or like I don't know yeah yeah um yeah I don't expect anyone to know anything and uh and I'd like love to educate them on it and I do that while they're in there.

SPEAKER_00:

Because like you can educate all day on Instagram but if that person doesn't have rosacea they don't care. They don't yeah so they want to know about we're all kind of like self-centered in the sense like I want to know about me. I don't care about that person over there I want to know how you're gonna help my skin my skin yeah so when you come in like we're gonna educate you and and also we ask you like hey is this like something you're just wanting to every now and then are you wanting to start a skincare journey with us yeah and that's gonna dictate how we do things.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah and that and too you're gonna ask like do you want to talk? Do you want to be quiet? Because like I feel like I have to keep the space going. Yeah. Until my last girl said hey you know it's really hard if you keep talking and like and don't drink coffee before you come in here next time.

SPEAKER_00:

So I'm like getting lashes I was like I'm not gonna stop talking I can't I can't stop talking yeah thank god my lash girl she goes she wrote little punches man like she's like Megan's not gonna shut up she's going to talk I'm just gonna have to just be like okay girl like I mean I hit her lie all the time I'm like sorry I didn't hate doing uh insulate works with me she hates doing my brows when my eyes are covered or like one of my senses is gone I feel like I have to like feel around you and she's like if you do not stop hitting my light I'm gonna tape your hands to the table yeah to the point where like she has like wrapped me in a blanket and like I'm like swaddled you can't I don't know why but I have to like if my eyes are closed I just feel like something's me so I always just like keep putting my hands up like this and she's like I'm gonna murder you.

SPEAKER_01:

I'm gonna murder you I love that and she's talking about Ansley um and tell her kind of a little bit of the role what she does because you had you had an amazing husband that believed in you at the time with a boyfriend. Have a boyfriend he could have walked away he could have been the house we're done but he chose so having that partner that believes in you is great but also having a friend that tells you you two crack me up like y'all are yin and yang in the best way and I love watching them because they will she will like just give her Chelsea a look like really like really I wish she wasn't here good shot you know yeah um so I'm like the queen of not doing things the way you're supposed to correct uh I kind of just like oh okay yeah yeah also my own business yeah okay um but I guess I kind of have to like go back to like how so I was room rent and um my husband was like sure go ahead or boyfriend at the time and um I was room rent rent room rent for a while and um I started looking for a brick and mortar and I wasn't finding one and I was kind of getting discouraged and I knew I kind of wanted to be on the square but I don't know if if y'all are familiar with the Mercury Square.

SPEAKER_00:

It's kind of hard to be on it um and I don't know how y'all feel about signs. Like this is like kind of one of those like I love that y'all company tell a story. Yes yes but my grandma was like one of my biggest supporters um always has been she was one of my best friends and she unexpectedly passed and um it was kind of it was a really hard like six months like me and my husband experienced a miscarriage um my grandma died and then an exact seven days later his dad died um and it was just really rough we had uh a son that we were taking care of um and I was grieving he was grieving we were grieving in different ways like Mikey wasn't as he wasn't close to his dad they had a lot of um grief or a lot of like issues and they hadn't talked for a couple years so like I feel like Mikey had a lot of grief with that and then it's like he was the oldest so he and his dad didn't have a will so like he was dealing with everything like that like all the stuff that I didn't even think about as well in the past um because I had been very fortunate um to not really have to deal with death as much and um with my grandma passing I was a mess he was a mess and we were just trying to get by um we kind of thought like we're just gonna have Liam we're not gonna have any more kids like we were just really trying to we were just leaning on each other and trying to make it day by day. But I I knew in my heart like I did still want to break in morning but it was just honestly hard to wake up sometimes. And um my grandma had moved to Jackson where my mom's at with my grandpa and so we had a funeral there but we were having a funeral where they're from in um Illinois and she loved roses and she had a rose room I stayed in that room when I would go visit her um and she always wore brooches and just like all her hands were covered in jewelry and she was just a gem. I loved her and um I was like I want to wear a rose brooch for her celebration of life and um there was a little store it's like you can see it right now it was called Quinn's and they always had like quirky stuff like that. And uh it was a bad morning I was like I looked a hot mess. I had been crying all morning dropped um lean off at daycare and I was like I'm gonna go to Quinn's I go to Quinn's I'm pulling in I'm like still crying and I look and there's rose petals and like roses on the road from a flower delivery and I saw this the flower delivery person like struggling and I just remember like just kind of like you know and I look up and right in front of the house the landlord was putting the um release sign in front of it um now this makes me sound crazy I had seen the house once or twice because it was a boutique at one time I ran across the street ripped it out of the ground chased her down and I was like I want it and she's like okay crazy lady this is nice do you want to see it like do you know what the rent is and I was like oh yeah probably probably should know that yeah um everything just like fit perfectly um it was like under like the I had like in my head like it had to be like around this much it was like under that it had more rooms than I wanted um it was everything that I needed and the roses the sun the roses I believe in that yes I believe chills all over I'm like crying trying to talk to this lady and she thinks I'm psychotic um and I'm just like I know this is crazy like just my grandma hasn't brought me here and I know she's like what um didn't even sign like like she would not let me sign up papers that day she told me I needed to think on it I was like calling her every day the day that we left for um the celebration of life in Illinois she called me and she was like okay it's yours I signed the papers that morning we left um and it just like I still just get goose on yeah it was my grandma yeah it was um she's looking out for you she was and then it took me that was January it took me to like March 28th to get it ready I had to like remodel and everything um and I also feel like this was my grandma I had all these plans I'm like and I was kind of using this as like a distraction from our grief and my husband too um and we were just you know coming up with ideas I'm gonna fill it up with employees I'm gonna do this I'm gonna do that and I really feel like God was like you need to slow your role um and I moved in I had all my family and my friends come in and uh my best friend she lives in Knoxville she drove in and we were just I had clients that Monday so I that Saturday I hired movers to come get all my stuff from my room to move it because I was afraid I was gonna break stuff and that morning I was feeling a little weird and I was like I'll take a pregnancy guess there's no way but I'll take one I'll take it you have a two year old running around and um I got distracted the movers called I left didn't even think about it um I didn't get home until like four o'clock that night or four o'clock in the morning um from like getting my room ready and I'm like taking my makeup off and I look down and Claire say it says pregnant and I'm like are you kidding me are you kidding me are you kidding me I just made one of the biggest financial decisions and I'm yeah um I like woke my husband up but he was like yeah I saw that he was like I thought that was from Liam I'm like you think I just pulled out a break stuff this morning and that battery lot I mean we're eating each other I'm like you're crazy yeah um and we were super scared because we had already had the miscarriage so we kind of kept it to ourselves um but I know myself and I know I'm not a fun pregnant person um run if I get pregnant like I need to like I need I'm the Grinch like I need to be in a cave. Um and so I was like I cannot hire employees right now uh even he was like hey yeah yeah we don't want to have chicken therapy because of your hormones you will not keep your employees um so it was just me and that big old for the longest for the first year I didn't even go up the stairs I was scared of upstairs um and I never went in the basement um so then one of my clients she was a photographer uh she was like hey all this empty space can I use it while you're kind of figuring stuff out I was like sure so she rented out that uh had Laura lie um and then after Laura lie like I mean I was so sick with her that I really couldn't work as much yeah um so I really had to like kind of start my business all over again yeah um I made my big first machine purchase threw up after yeah and glow to changed my business and it um skyrocked me and I was like all right I'm ready now yeah to hire employees yeah so me not like doing anything like professionally or like the way you're supposed to I just like put on Instagram hey anyone want to work for me looking for somebody and I had the people reach out and then one of my clients um her name's Lindsay shout out Lindsay messaged me and she was like hey I have a friend that I think would be perfect for this um she was like dating my other friend's son like all these things and I was like I had already had like hired people and I didn't really need anyone else but I was like she's my friend I'm gonna give her I'll I'll give her an interview but I really don't think so but I'll give her an interview. I was late to the interview so me um and I like wasn't on this I feel like this was another god thing to just be like get your crap together um the minute we started talking we just clicked I just something in me was like this is who you need to hire and I did not have that feeling with the other people yeah and she's the only one with still with you yeah um but we just clicked and I've never like we are so much alike but so different in the same way that it's like yeah she can read my mind I can read her mind um she calls me out I call her out like it's just and don't do it in front of people they do not care I have laughed so hard at them it's so funny yes and she gets so mad at me like we literally fight like we're either an old married couple or sisters um to the point where like there was we were in a Bible group we're all in the Bible group together and we were not speaking is this the coffee one that always bring up the coffee thing about you washed your hair no she was not about that we're supposed to come together and I told her that uh you was not gonna wash your hair I was like I'm not she's like hey she's so weird like if she has dirty hair she wants everyone else to have dirty hair it's like she makes it everyone's problem so she was like hey don't wash your hair because I'm not washing my hair and I'm like okay I woke up that morning my hair was like crazy and I'm gonna have to wash my hair yeah so she's like you're washing your hair aren't you and I'm like no she's like we have each other's location she's like you're still at your house I know you're washing hair I'm like I'm not washing my hair calm down and um I showed up with a coffee and washed hair and I forgot to get her a coffee and she let into me in the middle in the middle of Bible in the middle of the Bible suddenly with somebody like they were like sharing and she paused it to be like not you coming in here with coffee and clean hair I'm like okay people are talking about God that that's I knew the other I was gonna be great prints with that album I was like these are these are these girls are

SPEAKER_01:

This true role, and I love it. I love it. Yeah. But we're so stubborn and we just fight like siblings.

SPEAKER_00:

Like I remember when we weren't like that one time we weren't fighting, something happened business wise, and she came down the stairs. She was like, Look, like we did not talk at all during Bible study. Like the I had the work phone and someone was asking a question about brows. Like, I didn't even like talk to her, just handed her the work phone. And I was like, I'm not sure if anyone could notice we're fighting. No one did.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Um, and so like I'm like, I'm not gonna speak to her, and she's like, I'm her, you know, yeah. So something happened, she had to come and she was like, Can we pause our fight for like five seconds? Because I'm freaking out. So then like that gets us talking, and um she's just like, You were you were gonna go forever. And I'm like, mm-hmm, yeah, but I'm stubborn, like I will wait. We're both only child, yeah. So I think that has a lot to do with it. We've never had siblings, so like we're just getting it out on each other, yeah, face fighting. Um, but we have like pretty almost the same upbringing in the sense, and it's just I love her so much, and I'm so proud of her. She actually just went room rent, so I have to cry. Like, I did freak when she told me. I was like, oh my god, like everything's gonna change. I don't like change. Yeah. Um, but she's killing it, like she's doing so good, and she's the one that'll tell me, like, you have a crazy work ethic. Like you're yeah, you don't like you don't understand work-life balance. But I'm like, you shouldn't have one. So, like, she definitely brings me down to earth, but I'll also cover out on two.

SPEAKER_01:

So that's good though. That's what good friends do to each other. And you want people like that because it's very black and white. I don't like gray. I like black and white, like gray. I understand there's a time for gray, but like I'm like, okay, if you show me how to do it and I can ask you a bunch of questions, I'll do a really good job. But like, if you keep it gray and I don't know, I'll be I'll be everywhere. I'm like, you know, you gotta show me like black and white. So that's good that you guys have that. And then you also can call each other out in a loving way and kind of be back, you know, even if it is like, you know, whatever. And like when they say this, like if you've never met them, these are not we have we talk about mean girls, not mean girls. They are loving, caring people that have such a servant's heart. Chelsea and Ansley both, if I'm doing anything with Unstoppable, how can we help? How can we be a part of it? Like that you have a servant's heart, not just for your Bible babe group that we're in, but for everybody. Like, I think everybody on your table, I know that you would, you know, be praying for them, or how can I help you? And that's another reason why I'm so thankful for the Bible babe group that we have because everybody has that that same heart. And so we're very lucky.

SPEAKER_00:

We are so lucky for our Bible group. And so here she'll tell you, I'm too nice. Like, I think my mom would disagree. She's always like, You're mean to me, I'm not mean to my mom. It's different, mom and daughters. Yeah, um, mom and daughters have that bond. I definitely needed someone to kind of be like, girl, like you're being taken advantage of, or like you're putting a lot into this situation, and that person could give two crap about you. I'm very blinded. Um, I'm a very like, if I love someone, I love them hard. I'm like gifts of affirmation. Like, that's my affirmation. I love to give gifts. I love to like give them like I like things to make them smile. Like, I think like if I love someone, I'm like constantly thinking what to do for them to make their lives easier. Um, and I feel like when you're like that, it's really easy to be like taken advantage of. And um you I'm very good at making excuses for people because I'm always like, oh well, maybe they had a bad day, or well, maybe they have this, or how they have X, Y, and Z going on, and that's why they did this and this. Where Angela could be like, You're crazy. Yeah, this is happening, this is happening, and I really needed that because I even just like employee stuff, like she helps me manage my business, and um, she'll always be like, Hey, I know you did this before me, um, but you also like need to know like this is your baby, and not everyone's good for it. Like you can still like someone and be like, You're not right for this. Yeah. Where I feel like if I didn't have her, I probably would have held on to things longer because I yeah, sometimes it's seasonal, right?

SPEAKER_01:

You're supposed to have a lesson, and and you can still love people and bless and release them. I've had to learn that along the way too, like bless and release, and that saying has meant a lot to me because I like to hold on to things, even like things that don't serve me anymore. Like I feel like I can't have to keep, oh, you were nice to me once. I have to be nice, even though you've been mean to me 10 other times. I'm like, oh, but that one time. And I think that's helped me not be that way so much, is my husband is severely like that, and I God love him, but I'm like, hey, I'm outside of this picture looking in, and you're in the frame still, and it's just this is going on, you know, and like this is happening. And I think it's good to have that perspective from both people in both ways that you can see that. I think it's good, like you're probably good for her to come for seeing, you know, you know, let's not overthink it here. This they probably are being good, and then she's good for you to be like, okay, they really are taking advantage of you. So you do bounce that off of each other, and that's good.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, and she's also good, just like I can tell her, like I it's like I'm feeling I looks um weird. Like I can be way too nice, but like I say things sometimes and I don't mean them meanly at all. Like yeah, I could be like especially when it comes to business, like if someone's coming to me like I have no clients, and I'm like, well, girl, you haven't posted in six months, and like I'm blunt when it comes to that, yeah, and she can take it, and she's never gonna be like, You are so mean. It's like she'll be like, You're right, like uh, or I don't want to, you know, yeah. So she's very good at taking good credit. I and I I like that too, because like some generations just can't take it.

SPEAKER_01:

They can't, we that we write, we're getting soft, very, very soft.

SPEAKER_00:

We're I saw my grandpa, he was a nuclear engineer, and um he ran a business, and and I'm not gonna say that everything I do is correct, like I probably should not live, eat, breathe, die my business, but I saw him do that, and um, he was very successful, but I also saw it kill him. So um, hire anyone.

SPEAKER_01:

No, I think I think it's great. And then my the last thing I want to talk about before before is how you transitioned. So you've made it a very successful business, you know, with your with your skincare, but then you also transitioned into now doing photo like a like a oh yeah, this business. Yeah, I had to bring her back and remind her of them. She's like, oh yeah, this but you change. No, you did so good, you started with it. Yeah, I'm not sure. I'm so proud of you. I was like, what? Yeah. And and I love that because this is something that I think so many places need. I think all towns need it. My small town that I'm from would need it, and if they have it, I don't know about it. Tell people about what this is because as social media is going viral right now. Like it social media is the best marketing tool. A lot of people don't have places to do it. We're in the studio today, her studio filming this, and there's tons of rooms and tons of Valentine's like that. That's just so cute. Christmas was a huge hit for you. Yes. Um, tell them about this studio, how this came about.

SPEAKER_00:

So honestly, kind of fell in my lap. Um, so the photographer that rented the rooms for me, when um my landlord, she was an eye doctor in this building, she decided to um retire. She was like, Hey, um, I'm retiring. Do you want this house? And this is just me being crazy and like my OCD, like we share a driveway. And I didn't want to share a driveway with someone I didn't know. Yeah. So I was like, Yes, I'll take it. Um I love this. I love this. Yes. Um, and so I was like, you know what? This is a good step for me to start hiring people. So I was like, Rachel. Um I love her to death. She's amazing. Look her up. Um, Tempney photography. Um she does, I can't say this word correctly, but boudoir. Boudoir. I can't, I can't either. I was trying to do the other day and I couldn't do it. I was like, I love her so much, but sometimes it would get like she had our FedEx guy traumatized to drop off packages. Um, because she, I mean, she worked with Toy Secrets, Adore Me, like all these lingerie companies, and she would just be walking around the like answer the door, and he's like, Yeah, yeah, um, so and like it just got a lot. She's she was booked all the time, like um, you know, and you know, you have to like if you're half naked taking photography, you have to hype those girls up. So, like, I'm in the middle of doing a fashion. I'll just be like, Yes, girl, that butt though. I'm like, oh no, no, no, no, no. Um, so I was like, I'm ready to expand. So I asked Rachel, I was like, would you want this house? And she was like, Yeah. So for a year it was perfect. Rachel's over here. Um, but Rachel does a lot of work in Nashville. And she was like, My Nashville people aren't gonna drive to Murphy's borough. She needed a studio out there, and um I was like, it was me again. And I was like, Well, selfishly, I didn't want to walk back and forth because at first I was just gonna turn this into like more like skin confidence, yeah, you know, too. Um, and have more people in here. And I was just like, it's like raining or snowing, like I'm not gonna wanna walk back and forth. Um that's so lazy, but like I didn't know. No, it is what it is. Um, and then I was like, you know what? It's already kind of set up for a photography studio. Why don't we just make it open to the public? Um, I do so much for social media, and like, yeah, obviously, like branding photo sessions can be at my spot too, but sometimes you just need a blank wall, yeah. Or like our colors are green and brown, like you need a brown wall, you need a green wall, and it's like I can't do that in my shop. I have stuff everywhere, like I can't do that. Um, and I was paying other places to do it in Nashville. Now I always have to drive to Nashville. So it's like we need something like that here. Um, so I have a friend, her name is Jessica, um, Black Moon videography. She's been my friend since high school. Um and like it was one of those I dated a guy, she dated a guy, they were best friends, and then we just stayed friends.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Um, and she's kind of from around here. Uh, and I reached out to her, she did my wedding and she was doing our content already. Yeah. And I was like, hey, crazy, but you want to open up this together? She was like, ooh. Um, but we did it and we're learning. Neither one of us are really photographers by trade. I'm for sure not. Um, so it's definitely been a struggle. Yeah. But it's such a great place. Like we love it. We I do most of my content here. Um, Jess has been booked with content here. We can run it out for events, um, podcasts. Um, we have great memberships. So people that are running people's social media is like social media content, people, I don't know, contenters, I don't know. Yeah. Um, social media managers, I guess. Right. Um, we have a couple of those that just like pay our membership and they have their people come here to do content so they don't have to like travel.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, or rent a space.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, yeah. Um we're uh we have an upstairs, we haven't done it much with or anything with yet, but we're thinking about like doing a podcast studio. Um, but we even have like a room in the back that has nothing in it. Uh and we've had a couple people with podcasts just kind of set it up in there and take their stuff. Like they they don't want to have it at their house.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Um, but this way they can pop it up here. And um, if this if you have a membership, we have place. I mean, if you want to go to the basement, um, we can sort your stuff here too.

SPEAKER_01:

But it could be photo sheets, video content, podcast, you name it. Having an event, you know, like having a little, you know, little event to hear. So can you kind of go a real quick uh the rundown on the memberships of what they start? Because it some of it, like the top tier, you can get it any pretty much when you want to. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Um, so we have two memberships. We have um a red and see, which is our big one. Um, that one's a thousand dollars a month, and you have a key code to get in anytime you want. Obviously, you'll have um access to the um management system. So like you'll see if someone's booked it out, you can't come in during those times, but you get an unlimited amount of hours. There's no set hours for you to come in. So that's really great for someone that is either a photographer or videographer that's constantly getting content, or social media manager that has several accounts, and you need to be like, okay, I'm gonna book a whole day and y'all come in on the hour to get content. Um, it's really great for um anyone that likes to do mini sessions. Um, and if you are in that, you have a say of like what props we have. Um, we run anything by you, any room changes. If you need things, like we're gonna put that on the top of our list. So you kind of become like basically like a little co-owner with us.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Um, and then we have our regular membership. Um, we only take a couple regencies at a time. It's a six-month sign-up. Um, and then our smaller one is$500 a month, and you get 10 guaranteed hours. Um, you still are in a group chat with us where we are gonna ask you like if you need things or stuff like that. You get to pick um, so we only have booking out for a couple months. So for like bigger holidays like Christmas, which we were not prepared for this year, yeah, we had people booking like October 1st for that. Um, and a lot of people were upset because they didn't get the days they were wanting. So if you are any type of membership, you get to book those before anyone else. Um, and then you also get a say in like what we decorate. Yeah. Um, we did kind of vote on social media this year, and everyone wanted like a neutral brown setup. Um, so we'll probably keep like the one out here neutral, but we have a back room that we can't like we have that decked out in different Chris Christmas ideas too. Um, and like that is what we're gonna keep like to our membership. Like, what do you want? What do you want? Yeah, because neutral's great for photographers that are like booking mini sessions. Like if our people have memberships want a certain idea, um we want to make sure we're getting that. And then that background, yeah. If they have an idea, like we have one in our membership, she wants to do minis, goddess minis. Um, and it's like very like Roman like inspired. Um, and she is using her whole 10 hours, and then you get half off any other hour booked. So um she's using like she's doing like three days of these minis, and the whole back room that's hers, and she can keep it up and we'll keep it locked so no one can use it. And then um, yeah, so that's awesome.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, it's a very good layout here. I'll have to shoot some video uh before I head out to my next meeting just to show you guys and post it as well. But there's a lot of cool setups that you can do, backdrops you can change. Yeah, I know friends that have done headshots and all the things. Um, like I said, this has been a perfect place for the podcast today. There's ring lights, there's lights, there's everything you're gonna need to professionally record it besides me having a somebody that's here to hit hit the button for me, which is why I've been up so much. But um, everything else is ready. And if I wanted it to bring somebody, I could. But we're we're in a we're not uh in a procrastination mode, we're in a get things done mode in 2026. So we we are here doing it the darn thing. Um lastly, how um you can also pay by the hour too, right?

SPEAKER_00:

You can book by the hour. Everything like if you don't want to do membership, you just want to buy it, um, you do it hourly. So um we can have we but we have like a full day, half day, you get a little bit of discount if you book that. Um, but yeah, most people just book it out.

SPEAKER_01:

Awesome. Well, you guys have got a plethora of stuff to take in, but now we want to show how they can follow you, how they can contact you. So both businesses, yeah. Uh yeah, make sure you shout, you know, what the name of both businesses are, how they can follow you on social, all the things.

SPEAKER_00:

Um, so for my med spot, it's at skin.confidence. We're located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. And um, we do you name it, lasers, facials. Um, we have an injector, um, body waxing, brow laminations. You think skincare, we do it. Um, and then at studio two two six borough, let me double check.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh yes, but it's right, it's right beside each other. So you can go for a facial and come in and do your content. You know, it's right beside each other on Spring Street, easy to find. North North Spring Street, yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Um, studio 226 borough. So this is 226 North Spring Street, and then I'm 220 North Spring Street. Um, but yeah, you can um find us both on Instagram there, and you can book on our Link's Maple. Awesome.

SPEAKER_01:

Well, guys, this is our first one of the season. We had this done like the first of January. We were like, Yeah, so good.

SPEAKER_00:

I'm sad because I feel like that one was funny.

SPEAKER_01:

No, it wasn't. No, I think it's still good. I think that we hit on some things that we didn't hit on the last one, but I think maybe God wants people to hear that one. I don't know. But um, we had this done and we're like, momentum, January's great. And we're like, I gotta post it. And I'm like, Chelsea, I didn't know it's fault. It was her job to push report. I love Anthony. She's like, are you not blaming me on this? Yeah, but like she's not here, so we aren't. We're not we're not blaming you anything. But um, but yeah, so we're doing we did this again. So I can't wait for this to drop live for people to see. Again, Unstoppable series is back. I did not book any guests until I could re-record this with her because I wanted her to be my first guest of the year because she's awesome, she's sweet. Servant's heart. So check out her stuff. Follow her Instagram, follow her TikTok. Your event. You need to talk about your event. Yes, oh my gosh. See this all my friends. So Unstoppable has an event coming up in April. You can go to the Unstoppable page, you can go to anywhere. Josh Prey is a hilarious comedian. If you're not following Josh Prey, you've got to follow him. He's got over three million million followers on Facebook and he's had a servant's heart. I booked in on my husband's radio show and I was like, I don't know if we can budget him, but we're gonna reach out. Think him big, 2026. Can you come for an unstoppable women's event in spring? Because we had such a good turnout raising money for the single moms on Christmas. I said, Josh, this is my budget. If you can't do it, please don't be offended. He's like, actually, I could work somewhere around that. I was like, cool, we can get sponsors to cover him to come out. So he's basically not after he pays for his travel up here in his flight. He's basically not charging us anything essentially to do it. So what a good guy, good heart. Uh, he's gonna be coming to Beans Creek Winery in April. The date is like gone right now. I can't even remember the freaking freaking day. It's April. April, it's April. The I think so, I think so. See, I'm doing, I'm doing it, I'm doing it. I should have had it up, but I'm so glad you reminded me. But go to my Instagram page, Megan underscore 615 VIP or Unstoppable on Facebook. You can buy tickets there. There's an event brite link on there. We are still accepting sponsors. Anything that does not cost to run the event, go straight to Unstoppable Women that will go to them because we help them with their Christmas, but a lot of times we get calls throughout the year. And to have that where we can have that cushion to be able to help people as needed, we always find them help, even if we don't have them, we've we've exhausted all of our funds. We find other charities that we work closely with to help them. But it's so cool to have that in there. If a mom calls me like, hey, I need help with school supplies or this or this, I'm like, Oh, here, here you go, you know. So that's awesome. This is our first time doing a spring fundraiser. But since we had such a good turnout at our fall one, I'm gonna brag on her for a second.

SPEAKER_00:

I don't feel like she brags on herself enough. You're sweet. The event she um, that was the first one I've done. And the amount of just people that like, I've never seen someone have so many people that just love someone so much. She is so amazing, and what she's doing for like just moms in general are just wild. Um, so if you can't come to the event, you can still donate. Um, if you have a mother, you know how hard mothers work, especially being a single mom, is so hard. Very hard. And we just gotta we gotta help women out there. We do. Um she I don't want to cry, but like I remember in Bible study when she like said well, first off, you were like, Oh, I did this for work, but this is what my this is my why.

SPEAKER_01:

This is my nine to five, and this is why God has me here to help.

SPEAKER_00:

She just got so excited to tell about it and like being raised by a single mom who had no help. I was like crying. And I remember when I was here and I was like, Oh my god, I was like, She probably thinks I'm crazy.

SPEAKER_01:

No, I don't. I love your heart.

SPEAKER_00:

And I just knew the minute I heard that story is like I have to help her, and I have to do what like this is just a calling for me. Like my heart just was overfilled. So I just she is one of the sweetest, most just giving people I've ever met in my life. And I wish you would see that about your own. Oh, well, thank you.

SPEAKER_01:

I know, have uh we're working through that. I mean, I'm like, you gotta love yourself, and I'm like, and I'm like, oh, it's okay. I uh people can be like, oh, your hair looks good. I'm like, oh, and I'll run into a door or something. I'm learning, I'm learning just to say thank you. Yes, thank you. Say thank you because you deserve it. I appreciate that. Thank you so much. And yes, so if you guys want to support. These moms, it's gonna be a hilarious night. Josh is hilarious, so funny. I probably wouldn't bring my young kids because you know we'll be some language, but um, you know, a fan, yeah. So we have to like we have to give him grace. Yeah, we have to give him grace. God love him. He loves the gator and we would love him to be a Tennessee fan or anything but a gator fan. I'm just kidding, I have a lot of gator fans are gonna hate mail after this. But um, but anyway, so yeah, you grab your tickets. We've actually launched a tickets live and we sold like 30 tickets right off the bat. We had sponsors come on, and it was just it was amazing. So definitely, definitely, definitely secure those tickets and make sure you're following all of our channels, make sure you're following Chelsea and all of her amazing businesses, and we will see you next time. Bye guys.

SPEAKER_03:

Bye. Recording, you will receive emails.
