In this episode, we welcome the owner of Senior Health Consultants Kristine Smiley and a special guest who will go unidentified. The reason we are not identifying him is because he is just here to tell his story and that's it. It's a story of how easily he was duped by a television commercial offering him add-ons to his Medicare coverage if he signed up with him. When he said no, they signed him up anyway somehow. Monday, October 15th begins the open enrollment period for Medicare that allows seniors and those on Medicare to change their plans with no penalty. This is a cautionary tale but, as Smiley points out in the podcast, this is not a rarity in the Medicare business.
