And one of"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":226.28,"endTime":230.84,"body":"my objectives was to determine"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":230.84,"endTime":235.43,"body":"whether or not it made sense to"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":230.84,"endTime":235.43,"body":"someday run our own ambulance"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":235.43,"endTime":240.14,"body":"service. And so what I quickly"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":235.43,"endTime":240.14,"body":"found out about Arizona is it is"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":240.14,"endTime":244.91,"body":"a very statute driven rule"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":240.14,"endTime":244.91,"body":"driven process. So it takes a"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":244.91,"endTime":248.0,"body":"long time to get through them."},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":244.91,"endTime":248.0,"body":"So at the time, my initial"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":248.0,"endTime":251.75,"body":"impression was that it probably"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":248.0,"endTime":251.75,"body":"didn't make sense just because"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":251.75,"endTime":255.35,"body":"of the money we would have to"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":251.75,"endTime":255.35,"body":"expend the length of time that"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":255.35,"endTime":258.53,"body":"it takes to get through the"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":255.35,"endTime":258.53,"body":"process. But as I progressed"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":258.53,"endTime":262.19,"body":"through my career in Goodyear,"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":258.53,"endTime":262.19,"body":"it made more and more sense as"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":262.19,"endTime":266.69,"body":"time went on to kind of control"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":262.19,"endTime":266.69,"body":"our destiny. And when we finally"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":266.69,"endTime":270.32,"body":"got the certificate in my hand,"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":266.69,"endTime":270.32,"body":"I could wave it around and say,"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":270.32,"endTime":274.16,"body":"Yeah, we got it. I actually"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":270.32,"endTime":274.16,"body":"called the old Fire Chief Mark"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":274.19,"endTime":277.85,"body":"Taylor, who's in Flagstaff now"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":274.19,"endTime":277.85,"body":"is there fire chief. And I said,"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":277.85,"endTime":282.02,"body":"hey, it only took me 16 years,"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":277.85,"endTime":282.02,"body":"but I did it. That was 16 years"},{"speaker":"Jordan Byrd","startTime":287.75,"endTime":290.18,"body":"years."},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":290.21,"endTime":292.61,"body":"Yeah. And"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":290.21,"endTime":292.61,"body":"from the time we submitted the"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":292.61,"endTime":295.94,"body":"application till the time that I"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":292.61,"endTime":295.94,"body":"literally have it in my hand was"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":295.94,"endTime":299.48,"body":"three years. And"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":333.34,"endTime":336.55,"body":"we always have two paramedics on"},{"speaker":"Chief Paul Luizzi","startTime":336.55,"endTime":340.15,"body":"every one of our engines.
