I like how you broke it down into there was  "},{"startTime":99.6,"endTime":106.48,"body":"like 10 key messages, very specific to the type of "},{"startTime":99.6,"endTime":106.48,"body":"technology integration that you were discussing in  "},{"startTime":106.48,"endTime":111.68,"body":"more detail...The question I have before we "},{"startTime":106.48,"endTime":111.68,"body":"get into some of the other questions specifically  "},{"startTime":111.68,"endTime":119.12,"body":"about the book is I teach a class right now "},{"startTime":111.68,"endTime":119.12,"body":"of 168 students in pathophysiology. How do we  "},{"startTime":119.12,"endTime":123.92,"body":"use technology and what type of technology "},{"startTime":119.12,"endTime":123.92,"body":"effectively in a large class of this size to  "},{"startTime":123.92,"endTime":129.84,"body":"engage the student learner? Good question, but I "},{"startTime":123.92,"endTime":129.84,"body":"do not envy you teaching that many students at  "},{"startTime":129.84,"endTime":138.48,"body":"one time. I like 25 so I guess I'll start and then "},{"startTime":129.84,"endTime":138.48,"body":"Andrew will come in because he can specifically  "},{"startTime":138.48,"endTime":145.36,"body":"speak to, I know he's assisted faculty to to "},{"startTime":138.48,"endTime":145.36,"body":"think about these challenges. There's, I think,  "},{"startTime":145.36,"endTime":150.4,"body":"there's a variety of different ways you can use "},{"startTime":145.36,"endTime":150.4,"body":"technology for a large class like that. You know,  "},{"startTime":150.4,"endTime":159.44,"body":"an easy way to use technology is an entry or exit "},{"startTime":150.4,"endTime":159.44,"body":"ticket into a classroom. So evaluating some basic  "},{"startTime":159.44,"endTime":165.36,"body":"knowledge when they come to your class where you "},{"startTime":159.44,"endTime":165.36,"body":"quickly as a the educator know maybe what are the  "},{"startTime":165.36,"endTime":170.16,"body":"gaps in their learning that I want to focus on "},{"startTime":165.36,"endTime":170.16,"body":"during my class. And then same thing at the end  "},{"startTime":170.16,"endTime":174.4,"body":"of the day, you know, at the end of the class. Maybe "},{"startTime":170.16,"endTime":174.4,"body":"what are still some of those gaps that you could  "},{"startTime":174.4,"endTime":180.48,"body":"then address in follow-up conversation? So you "},{"startTime":174.4,"endTime":180.48,"body":"know, a simple poll tool you could use you know  "},{"startTime":180.48,"endTime":185.92,"body":"depending on your learning management system, those "},{"startTime":180.48,"endTime":185.92,"body":"those can be easily built into your platform.  "},{"startTime":186.48,"endTime":191.76,"body":"But then within the classroom with that large "},{"startTime":186.48,"endTime":191.76,"body":"amount of students, and I do not like to  "},{"startTime":191.76,"endTime":199.12,"body":"lecture. I do not like to hear myself talk. And so "},{"startTime":191.76,"endTime":199.12,"body":"using small breakout rooms so if you're in person  "},{"startTime":199.12,"endTime":205.44,"body":"just creating those opportunities for students "},{"startTime":199.12,"endTime":205.44,"body":"to break into groups or online using you know  "},{"startTime":205.44,"endTime":212.32,"body":"discussion rooms to create those opportunities for "},{"startTime":205.44,"endTime":212.32,"body":"small group discussions, you know, I also like to  "},{"startTime":212.32,"endTime":217.76,"body":"use problem based learning. So giving a group "},{"startTime":212.32,"endTime":217.76,"body":"a problem that needs to be addressed and then  "},{"startTime":217.76,"endTime":223.44,"body":"they're able to not regurgitate what they read, "},{"startTime":217.76,"endTime":223.44,"body":"but actually apply that content to a contextual  "},{"startTime":223.44,"endTime":229.6,"body":"situation. And so how they could use technology "},{"startTime":223.44,"endTime":229.6,"body":"is a variety of ways. You know, they could use a  "},{"startTime":229.6,"endTime":233.28,"body":"whiteboard, a simple whiteboard where they're "},{"startTime":229.6,"endTime":233.28,"body":"just taking notes on the whiteboard that then  "},{"startTime":233.28,"endTime":240.4,"body":"is shared with the rest of the class. PowerPoint "},{"startTime":233.28,"endTime":240.4,"body":"presentations, you know, and little audio clips.  "},{"startTime":240.4,"endTime":245.84,"body":"Little video clips they could even create podcasts "},{"startTime":240.4,"endTime":245.84,"body":"as students where then they those could be shared  "},{"startTime":245.84,"endTime":251.76,"body":"with the class. So Andrew, I'll pass it to you "},{"startTime":245.84,"endTime":251.76,"body":"because I know you also have ton of examples  "},{"startTime":251.76,"endTime":256.72,"body":"like that. Yeah, for sure. I really appreciate that "},{"startTime":251.76,"endTime":256.72,"body":"Jenny. I think that you know really good points  "},{"startTime":256.72,"endTime":260.88,"body":"there. And I, you know, you start off with one of "},{"startTime":256.72,"endTime":260.88,"body":"my bread and butter. It's the exit ticket.  "},{"startTime":261.44,"endTime":265.12,"body":"You know, it's gaining the understanding of "},{"startTime":261.44,"endTime":265.12,"body":"the students and checking for their understanding,  "},{"startTime":265.12,"endTime":269.84,"body":"but also double dipping on informing your own "},{"startTime":265.12,"endTime":269.84,"body":"instruction, right? It's where are the gaps but  "},{"startTime":269.84,"endTime":275.92,"body":"then also what do I need to get better at? A lot of "},{"startTime":269.84,"endTime":275.92,"body":"those are again, what do we have at our fingertips?  "},{"startTime":275.92,"endTime":281.84,"body":"A lot of us are Office 365 campuses or Google"},{"startTime":275.92,"endTime":281.84,"body":"campuses whatever that might be so you   "},{"startTime":281.84,"endTime":286.8,"body":"create a simple form right and that form is then "},{"startTime":281.84,"endTime":286.8,"body":"linked to a QR code that QR code can be published  "},{"startTime":286.8,"endTime":291.36,"body":"on your PowerPoint, can be bring up brought up at "},{"startTime":286.8,"endTime":291.36,"body":"the beginning of class so students can scan and  "},{"startTime":291.36,"endTime":296.8,"body":"bring that stuff in. Those forms have come a very "},{"startTime":291.36,"endTime":296.8,"body":"long way, right. It used to just be that, hey, here's  "},{"startTime":296.8,"endTime":303.28,"body":"an Excel document and here's all the data that "},{"startTime":296.8,"endTime":303.28,"body":"came along. Now we get all the the AI capabilities  "},{"startTime":303.28,"endTime":307.92,"body":"inside of those forms so it creates the word "},{"startTime":303.28,"endTime":307.92,"body":"cloud for you of the terms that it continuously  "},{"startTime":307.92,"endTime":313.04,"body":"sees. So when you have that 168 students, which "},{"startTime":307.92,"endTime":313.04,"body":"is obviously a lot of columns and rows to look  "},{"startTime":313.04,"endTime":317.76,"body":"at in an Excel document, you can see those words "},{"startTime":313.04,"endTime":317.76,"body":"that are much larger in the word cloud and the  "},{"startTime":317.76,"endTime":322.96,"body":"emphasis to where you need to put your teaching or "},{"startTime":317.76,"endTime":322.96,"body":"where some of those gaps are. I'm also a massive  "},{"startTime":322.96,"endTime":327.84,"body":"component of any sort of gamification. I you "},{"startTime":322.96,"endTime":327.84,"body":"know. I like to see the students up and moving. I  "},{"startTime":327.84,"endTime":332.0,"body":"like to see those intrinsic motivators getting "},{"startTime":327.84,"endTime":332.0,"body":"going. So you can really point to some of those  "},{"startTime":332.0,"endTime":338.32,"body":"audience response systems as far as Kahoot, you "},{"startTime":332.0,"endTime":338.32,"body":"know, and Poll Everywhere and things like that  "},{"startTime":338.32,"endTime":344.56,"body":"where you can really get those students engaged. "},{"startTime":338.32,"endTime":344.56,"body":"and I think Jenny made a really good point. The  "},{"startTime":344.56,"endTime":348.48,"body":"rote lecture and the standing in front of you know,"},{"startTime":344.56,"endTime":348.48,"body":"that's there's always room for that, right.  "},{"startTime":348.48,"endTime":352.16,"body":"That's not going to go anywhere. There's always "},{"startTime":348.48,"endTime":352.16,"body":"going to be parts of that, but we need to break  "},{"startTime":352.16,"endTime":356.88,"body":"up those pieces, right. We live in the TikTok world "},{"startTime":352.16,"endTime":356.88,"body":"is what I referred to it as your students aren't  "},{"startTime":356.88,"endTime":361.2,"body":"sitting there and retaining the things that you're "},{"startTime":356.88,"endTime":361.2,"body":"saying in minute 48. They checked out at minute  "},{"startTime":361.2,"endTime":367.36,"body":"eight, right. So we have to find these opportunities "},{"startTime":361.2,"endTime":367.36,"body":"to get these, this microlearning, right, within the  "},{"startTime":367.36,"endTime":372.08,"body":"section so is that watching a short video before "},{"startTime":367.36,"endTime":372.08,"body":"they come to class and then and then talking about  "},{"startTime":372.08,"endTime":376.48,"body":"that with a group of students before you come back "},{"startTime":372.08,"endTime":376.48,"body":"to the whole group? Are they watching it with  "},{"startTime":376.48,"endTime":381.6,"body":"a group of students in courses? So a really big "},{"startTime":376.48,"endTime":381.6,"body":"component of some of the video aspects that you  "},{"startTime":381.6,"endTime":387.92,"body":"can kind of put in for some of those large groups, "},{"startTime":381.6,"endTime":387.92,"body":"but it can be tricky especially with the 168. I  "},{"startTime":387.92,"endTime":392.08,"body":"can understand that you have a little bit more "},{"startTime":387.92,"endTime":392.08,"body":"flexibility with the smaller groups, but certainly  "},{"startTime":392.08,"endTime":396.48,"body":"some of those tools out there that can help with "},{"startTime":392.08,"endTime":396.48,"body":"grouping or some of the Socratic questioning as  "},{"startTime":396.48,"endTime":402.56,"body":"far as calling on students. So I'm a big component"},{"startTime":396.48,"endTime":402.56,"body":"of Triptico, which is a product out of  "},{"startTime":402.56,"endTime":406.88,"body":"England and it's big in the K-12 world, but gives "},{"startTime":402.56,"endTime":406.88,"body":"you a lot of those kind of wheels, right. You can  "},{"startTime":406.88,"endTime":412.08,"body":"get all the students names on a wheel and you can "},{"startTime":406.88,"endTime":412.08,"body":"click spin and it calls on a student or it gets  "},{"startTime":412.08,"endTime":416.4,"body":"them to group them together. You say five groups, "},{"startTime":412.08,"endTime":416.4,"body":"six people and everybody moves around and splits  "},{"startTime":416.4,"endTime":420.96,"body":"up so it provides a little bit of that visual incentive"},{"startTime":416.4,"endTime":420.96,"body":"that kind of goes along with some of the  "},{"startTime":420.96,"endTime":427.12,"body":"gamification aspects as well. Right. Talk about "},{"startTime":420.96,"endTime":427.12,"body":"the, you mentioned the student polling this you  "},{"startTime":427.12,"endTime":431.92,"body":"know the different Poll Everywhere and Kahoot "},{"startTime":427.12,"endTime":431.92,"body":"has gamification. And I use Slido in the  "},{"startTime":431.92,"endTime":438.0,"body":"classroom because that's what the university supports."},{"startTime":431.92,"endTime":438.0,"body":"Are they effective tools for engagement? I find that they  "},{"startTime":438.0,"endTime":445.2,"body":"can be very effective for engagement, but how about "},{"startTime":438.0,"endTime":445.2,"body":"for student assessing student learning outcomes?  "},{"startTime":445.2,"endTime":449.76,"body":"Yeah, I think that you know it's a double-edged "},{"startTime":445.2,"endTime":449.76,"body":"sword, right. Just like with any technology, you  "},{"startTime":449.76,"endTime":454.24,"body":"don't want death by tech, right. So if you're coming "},{"startTime":449.76,"endTime":454.24,"body":"in and you're doing a Poll Everywhere you're doing  "},{"startTime":454.24,"endTime":459.68,"body":"a Kahoot every class, it loses its pizzazz, right. "},{"startTime":454.24,"endTime":459.68,"body":"It's like, \"Oh here's another Kahoot. Let's jump  "},{"startTime":459.68,"endTime":467.36,"body":"into this.\" But I think it can, you know, outside "},{"startTime":459.68,"endTime":467.36,"body":"of just the content, right, especially in our  "},{"startTime":467.36,"endTime":473.28,"body":"in our BSN program, we're making good test takers "},{"startTime":467.36,"endTime":473.28,"body":"too, right. So not only is it learning the content,  "},{"startTime":473.28,"endTime":478.0,"body":"it's about discussing the question, right. What "},{"startTime":473.28,"endTime":478.0,"body":"are the important parts here? What if we changed,  "},{"startTime":478.0,"endTime":482.0,"body":"you know, this part of the question stem? What if "},{"startTime":478.0,"endTime":482.0,"body":"we changed the age of this client or the or the  "},{"startTime":482.0,"endTime":487.52,"body":"previous condition that it might be. So not only "},{"startTime":482.0,"endTime":487.52,"body":"is it the content and establishing kind of  "},{"startTime":487.52,"endTime":492.24,"body":"you know following those gaps of knowledge. It's "},{"startTime":487.52,"endTime":492.24,"body":"also, okay, what's the question asking? What does  "},{"startTime":492.24,"endTime":496.8,"body":"this look like? How do I think about this as a good "},{"startTime":492.24,"endTime":496.8,"body":"test taker? So I think that you can really hit it  "},{"startTime":496.8,"endTime":502.24,"body":"on both edges there. Yeah. I do think it's important "},{"startTime":496.8,"endTime":502.24,"body":"though to go back to like the fundamentals, right.  "},{"startTime":502.24,"endTime":507.84,"body":"So as educators, what we should be doing in the "},{"startTime":502.24,"endTime":507.84,"body":"classroom is really about our objectives. So what  "},{"startTime":507.84,"endTime":512.0,"body":"are we trying to accomplish today? How are we "},{"startTime":507.84,"endTime":512.0,"body":"going to evaluate the students actually learned?  "},{"startTime":512.0,"endTime":518.88,"body":"And so technology is great. I use technology a "},{"startTime":512.0,"endTime":518.88,"body":"lot. I won't say I'm the best in terms of like  "},{"startTime":518.88,"endTime":526.48,"body":"my technology savvy, like I learn as I go, but I'm "},{"startTime":518.88,"endTime":526.48,"body":"not the best. Like I'm not Andrew. But so I choose...  "},{"startTime":526.48,"endTime":531.04,"body":"I tend to use things that are maybe a little bit "},{"startTime":526.48,"endTime":531.04,"body":"more simple right, not super complicated for me  "},{"startTime":531.04,"endTime":537.44,"body":"as a facilitator. But the key there is - does it make "},{"startTime":531.04,"endTime":537.44,"body":"sense for my class? I'm not just going to do a Poll  "},{"startTime":537.44,"endTime":543.2,"body":"Everywhere every single class because the students "},{"startTime":537.44,"endTime":543.2,"body":"will actually by the end will hate you for for  "},{"startTime":543.2,"endTime":548.0,"body":"using that poll. They won't want to use it again. "},{"startTime":543.2,"endTime":548.0,"body":"So I really try to change it up and try something  "},{"startTime":548.0,"endTime":552.88,"body":"different. Like, I'll just give you an example. I've "},{"startTime":548.0,"endTime":552.88,"body":"used an internal discussion board you know  "},{"startTime":552.88,"endTime":558.56,"body":"that's built into my platform, but then I've used "},{"startTime":552.88,"endTime":558.56,"body":"something called Padlet, which is almost like a  "},{"startTime":558.56,"endTime":564.8,"body":"live discussion board and the students love that. "},{"startTime":558.56,"endTime":564.8,"body":"But sometimes after the third time it's like,  "},{"startTime":564.8,"endTime":569.68,"body":"no we got to go back to the original one or we "},{"startTime":564.8,"endTime":569.68,"body":"have to do...what I, the other thing I've tried is  "},{"startTime":569.68,"endTime":574.72,"body":"audio discussion boards. So rather than just write a "},{"startTime":569.68,"endTime":574.72,"body":"discussion board they actually have to do a verbal  "},{"startTime":574.72,"endTime":580.0,"body":"discussion board. So I think you just have to "},{"startTime":574.72,"endTime":580.0,"body":"be cognizant. It just goes to your objectives  "},{"startTime":580.0,"endTime":588.56,"body":"and using technology appropriately in when it's "},{"startTime":580.0,"endTime":588.56,"body":"needed. Great. Yeah. I just want to jump in  "},{"startTime":588.56,"endTime":593.6,"body":"there real quick Jenny to touch on the discussion "},{"startTime":588.56,"endTime":593.6,"body":"boards just because again, this is a facet  "},{"startTime":593.6,"endTime":599.84,"body":"where especially on the grad side we talk about "},{"startTime":593.6,"endTime":599.84,"body":"this, right. It's 500 words, four scholarly sources,  "},{"startTime":599.84,"endTime":604.64,"body":"respond to someone by Tuesday make another "},{"startTime":599.84,"endTime":604.64,"body":"response by Thursday, you know those kinds of  "},{"startTime":604.64,"endTime":609.52,"body":"things. And again, just like we talked about with "},{"startTime":604.64,"endTime":609.52,"body":"the other things, there's room for that, right. You  "},{"startTime":609.52,"endTime":614.72,"body":"have to be able to clearly write and do all that,"},{"startTime":609.52,"endTime":614.72,"body":"but there's also room for articulating  "},{"startTime":614.72,"endTime":620.0,"body":"your responses, right. When certainly, when you "},{"startTime":614.72,"endTime":620.0,"body":"become an an expert in the field or you become  "},{"startTime":620.0,"endTime":625.2,"body":"a nurse manager or you're the leader in the room "},{"startTime":620.0,"endTime":625.2,"body":"you want to be able to clearly articulate your  "},{"startTime":625.2,"endTime":630.08,"body":"thoughts and be able to concisely come across "},{"startTime":625.2,"endTime":630.08,"body":"with the information you're trying to portray.  "},{"startTime":630.08,"endTime":634.56,"body":"So that's an area to practice that, right. It's not "},{"startTime":630.08,"endTime":634.56,"body":"only about the content and it's okay this is a  "},{"startTime":634.56,"endTime":639.84,"body":"place where I can practice talking clearly. "},{"startTime":634.56,"endTime":639.84,"body":"This is a place I don't need to be so long-winded,  "},{"startTime":639.84,"endTime":644.88,"body":"guilty, right. And some of those skills that "},{"startTime":639.84,"endTime":644.88,"body":"kind of come along with some of that answering  "},{"startTime":644.88,"endTime":649.52,"body":"and some of those facets, not just the content- "},{"startTime":644.88,"endTime":649.52,"body":"wise, but making a good nurse educator or making  "},{"startTime":649.52,"endTime":655.12,"body":"a good person and providing feedback bedside. Some "},{"startTime":649.52,"endTime":655.12,"body":"of those things can be practiced as a student by  "},{"startTime":655.12,"endTime":661.04,"body":"giving them multiple ways to respond on some of "},{"startTime":655.12,"endTime":661.04,"body":"those discussion board topics, right. Right, you know  "},{"startTime":661.04,"endTime":667.04,"body":"AI is moving quickly. As we know, it's here. It's "},{"startTime":661.04,"endTime":667.04,"body":"not going anywhere. It's part of our life now and  "},{"startTime":667.04,"endTime":672.48,"body":"it's going to be increasingly a part of our life. "},{"startTime":667.04,"endTime":672.48,"body":"What are your thoughts about the role of AI in  "},{"startTime":672.48,"endTime":679.76,"body":"the classroom and how can nurse educators use AI "},{"startTime":672.48,"endTime":679.76,"body":"tools and approaches effectively for the students"},{"startTime":679.76,"endTime":685.12,"body":"and how do our students use it? I mean, I'll tell "},{"startTime":679.76,"endTime":685.12,"body":"you what I do with it, but I want to hear what your  "},{"startTime":685.12,"endTime":691.44,"body":"thoughts are on it. So it's funny when Andrew and "},{"startTime":685.12,"endTime":691.44,"body":"I got started thinking about this book, you know,  "},{"startTime":691.44,"endTime":697.68,"body":"and conceptualizing it which was two, about two "},{"startTime":691.44,"endTime":697.68,"body":"years ago, AI was out there but the difference  "},{"startTime":697.68,"endTime":703.92,"body":"in how AI has just grown exponentially in two "},{"startTime":697.68,"endTime":703.92,"body":"years. So there's some AI in the book, but I'm  "},{"startTime":703.92,"endTime":710.08,"body":"going to be honest, it was published before "},{"startTime":703.92,"endTime":710.08,"body":"we knew a lot of what we know now.  "},{"startTime":710.08,"endTime":717.76,"body":"And actually how to incorporate AI so I do try "},{"startTime":710.08,"endTime":717.76,"body":"to incorporate AI quite a bit because I truly  "},{"startTime":717.76,"endTime":723.04,"body":"believe that faculty need...students are using it, "},{"startTime":717.76,"endTime":723.04,"body":"so faculty need to get over this, oh we shouldn't  "},{"startTime":723.04,"endTime":729.2,"body":"be using it. No. Faculty need to know students are "},{"startTime":723.04,"endTime":729.2,"body":"using it. Get comfortable using it and learn to be  "},{"startTime":729.2,"endTime":735.52,"body":"able to use it and integrate it into their courses "},{"startTime":729.2,"endTime":735.52,"body":"so it can be used effectively. And not... and then we  "},{"startTime":735.52,"endTime":741.28,"body":"don't punish end up punishing students, which I "},{"startTime":735.52,"endTime":741.28,"body":"unfortunately, my role as administrator   "},{"startTime":741.28,"endTime":746.32,"body":"I often have to address in terms of plagiarism "},{"startTime":741.28,"endTime":746.32,"body":"with AI and things like that. So I'll just give  "},{"startTime":746.32,"endTime":754.32,"body":"you some examples of how I've used it and or "},{"startTime":746.32,"endTime":754.32,"body":"how my colleagues have used it. The other way I've done that  "},{"startTime":804.24,"endTime":811.28,"body":"with literature review writing is tables. You know, "},{"startTime":804.24,"endTime":811.28,"body":"our students, we really drill that in develop your  "},{"startTime":811.28,"endTime":816.96,"body":"lit review table, but sometimes I find that that "},{"startTime":811.28,"endTime":816.96,"body":"becomes an exercise and they're not learning  "},{"startTime":816.96,"endTime":822.56,"body":"just by developing the table. Is it accurate? Now "},{"startTime":828.56,"endTime":835.6,"body":"I'm going to synthesize this information. So it's a  "},{"startTime":835.6,"endTime":841.76,"body":"better use of their time, in my opinion. And so I'm "},{"startTime":835.6,"endTime":841.76,"body":"sure... and test question development. I'm seeing that  "},{"startTime":841.76,"endTime":848.0,"body":"more and more and more. I know there's some ethical "},{"startTime":841.76,"endTime":848.0,"body":"issues related to that, but I know Andrew works in  "},{"startTime":848.0,"endTime":854.56,"body":"in the undergrad program a lot and I'm sure you're "},{"startTime":848.0,"endTime":854.56,"body":"using it quite a bit Andrew. Yeah, for sure, really  "},{"startTime":854.56,"endTime":859.12,"body":"appreciate all those thoughts. And you know "},{"startTime":854.56,"endTime":859.12,"body":"we're definitely overlap there right and  "},{"startTime":859.12,"endTime":863.28,"body":"there's lots of conversations around it. We look at the AACN essentials. I'm in two roles. It's, you know, the  "},{"startTime":951.44,"endTime":957.04,"body":"generative AI scope of hey, write me a case study "},{"startTime":951.44,"endTime":957.04,"body":"of a 65-year-old man with congenital heart disease  "},{"startTime":957.04,"endTime":961.6,"body":"who just came in you know with weak knees or "},{"startTime":957.04,"endTime":961.6,"body":"something like that, right. And you can go in and  "},{"startTime":961.6,"endTime":966.16,"body":"change those variables and all those things and "},{"startTime":961.6,"endTime":966.16,"body":"it will write a complete case study for you given,  "},{"startTime":966.16,"endTime":970.32,"body":"again, just like Jenny touched on, it's a start, "},{"startTime":966.16,"endTime":970.32,"body":"right. And as you can imagine, that gets them  "},{"startTime":992.64,"endTime":997.12,"body":"starting in their nursing career and some struggle "},{"startTime":992.64,"endTime":997.12,"body":"with that first science and kind of grasping that.  "},{"startTime":997.12,"endTime":1002.72,"body":"and one of our conversations was you know I really "},{"startTime":997.12,"endTime":1002.72,"body":"struggle on tests a lot of the tests are multiple  "},{"startTime":1002.72,"endTime":1007.92,"body":"choice questions, but the study guides or things "},{"startTime":1002.72,"endTime":1007.92,"body":"that we do in class are very open-ended. You know,  "},{"startTime":1007.92,"endTime":1012.96,"body":"we don't have multiple choice questions to give "},{"startTime":1007.92,"endTime":1012.96,"body":"to practice or get examples from or things like  "},{"startTime":1012.96,"endTime":1017.6,"body":"that. And my response was, well, did you ever try "},{"startTime":1012.96,"endTime":1017.6,"body":"and take one of those open-ended questions and  "},{"startTime":1017.6,"endTime":1023.36,"body":"ask your Copilot to create five multiple choice "},{"startTime":1017.6,"endTime":1023.36,"body":"questions from that content? And then that gets the  "},{"startTime":1023.36,"endTime":1027.6,"body":"ball rolling and thinking about that and I looked "},{"startTime":1023.36,"endTime":1027.6,"body":"at that with one of my students and she said, \"Well.\"  "},{"startTime":1027.6,"endTime":1031.12,"body":"I said, \"Well, what's something you're studying "},{"startTime":1027.6,"endTime":1031.12,"body":"right now?\" She said \"Joints.\" I said \"Okay, well  "},{"startTime":1031.12,"endTime":1037.04,"body":"let's ask Copilot can you create five multiple "},{"startTime":1031.12,"endTime":1037.04,"body":"choice questions on joints?\" And here it comes and  "},{"startTime":1037.04,"endTime":1040.8,"body":"believe it or not, guess what the first questions "},{"startTime":1037.04,"endTime":1040.8,"body":"were? They were about the joint commissions and  "},{"startTime":1040.8,"endTime":1045.12,"body":"NATO and all of that right. So you have to get "},{"startTime":1040.8,"endTime":1045.12,"body":"a little bit more specific that we're actually  "},{"startTime":1045.12,"endTime":1050.0,"body":"talking about the A and P side so then it got into the "},{"startTime":1045.12,"endTime":1050.0,"body":"ball and socket joint and she said, \"Oh I remember  "},{"startTime":1050.0,"endTime":1054.0,"body":"that.\" I said \"Okay, well here's five specific "},{"startTime":1050.0,"endTime":1054.0,"body":"questions on the ball and socket joint. Maybe  "},{"startTime":1054.0,"endTime":1058.8,"body":"you need a video. Can you give me three videos on "},{"startTime":1054.0,"endTime":1058.8,"body":"that?\" It gave me three videos that were all shorter  "},{"startTime":1058.8,"endTime":1063.6,"body":"than 5 minutes on that content which again, you "},{"startTime":1058.8,"endTime":1063.6,"body":"could Google search, but you're making your way  "},{"startTime":1063.6,"endTime":1068.88,"body":"through all the weeds to find that stuff right. So "},{"startTime":1063.6,"endTime":1068.88,"body":"some of those generative AIs and and the machine  "},{"startTime":1068.88,"endTime":1074.64,"body":"learning side can put some of those exemplars at "},{"startTime":1068.88,"endTime":1074.64,"body":"your fingertips a little bit quicker. So I can say  "},{"startTime":1074.64,"endTime":1080.64,"body":"that that's probably the the majority of the way "},{"startTime":1074.64,"endTime":1080.64,"body":"that I'm seeing those being used as both a student  "},{"startTime":1080.64,"endTime":1087.04,"body":"and a faculty member. So as faculty "},{"startTime":1094.48,"endTime":1099.44,"body":"we would give these, you know, study guides that  "},{"startTime":1099.44,"endTime":1105.28,"body":"are all written but now students can actually use "},{"startTime":1099.44,"endTime":1105.28,"body":"that and create visuals that help them understand  "},{"startTime":1105.28,"endTime":1111.84,"body":"because I'm a visual learner or they create some "},{"startTime":1105.28,"endTime":1111.84,"body":"audio clips or maps, map you can create a concept  "},{"startTime":1111.84,"endTime":1117.6,"body":"map so it it allows this universal design for "},{"startTime":1111.84,"endTime":1117.6,"body":"learning to really come through and allow for  "},{"startTime":1117.6,"endTime":1123.68,"body":"flexible standardization of and letting "},{"startTime":1117.6,"endTime":1123.68,"body":"the students develop content around their own  "},{"startTime":1123.68,"endTime":1129.84,"body":"needs, which is so important I think for for us in "},{"startTime":1123.68,"endTime":1129.84,"body":"this climate and environment for students.
