From Ski Racer to Bike Racer. Get ready to shift gears with my guest Bill Miller, a veteran product engineer and manager with stints with industry leaders Trek and most recently Giant. Bill brings his wealth of knowledge from the bike industry trenches, sharing his insights on product development and his experience working for the big brands. Bill has served in many rolls over the course of his career. He was a prototype engineer, and a manufacturing engineer in his early years with Trek and that lead him to live in Ireland and Germany for 5 years working with Trek factories, then they shipped him back to Wisconsin where he transitioned to product management in Wheels and Tires, he would later fill a similar role with Giant Bicycles, but for the last 8 years he has been managing Giant Retail Academy an in person and online education tool for retailers . The Bike industry definitely benefited when Bill traded his ski's for bikes.
