Leukemia is the umbrella term for cancers of the blood cells, it weakens the immune system, makes the body vulnerable to infection, causes feelings of dizziness, fatigue, and more. Today we talk about a historical event (the bombing of Hiroshima) that continues to affect descendants of the victims today through and increased risk for developing leukemia.
