James Oatway
James has been in the wine business for the past 23 years - if you count restaurants - forever. As is with the wine business, a job quickly turns to a passion. In 2011, James gained certification with CAPS (Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers) and the Court of Master Sommeliers. In 2012, he (along with some classmates) created the Southern Ontario Sommelier Association which held an annual Ontario Wine Competition and Review. This led to a seat on the CAPS board of directors. Now tie it all up with my other passion and expertise as a recording engineer/songwriter/music producer and we get the creation of this third podcast (the first being Tales from The Turntable, and Crew Classé).
