As an author podcaster, your goal is to serve your listeners well, invite them to join your email list, and to buy your book long before and long after it releases.

So how do you measure success on your podcast? You might be surprised to learn that download numbers are only a vanity metric of podcasting. They feel good, but they're not telling you the whole story.
