In this episode, I get to speak with Roberto Miranda, a longtime friend and spiritual comrade in Boston. He founded and has pastored Congregacion Leon de Juda since 1984 - a church widely known for its very diverse composition and impacting social ministries to minority youth and Latino immigrants. Dr. Miranda is nationally known as a religious leader and is very active in seeking to bring unity and spiritual renewal to churches from all denominations in the New England area.
We had such a good time discussing spiritual things that this interview required two full-length podcasts. In this session, we discussed Roberto's upbringing and faith development. His mother laid a powerful foundation in his life - that still impacts him today.
We also discussed how important the Scriptures, difficult times, and suffering can be for our spiritual growth.
