In January we focused on goal-setting. The final tip of January was accountability, in which the focus was on having an accountability partner. So this month of February, our focus will be on healthy relationships.

Relationships come in many forms. You’ve got the family dynamic. Dating and marital relationships are one. You have friendships, and you also have work relationships, etc. Mainly, we’ll focus on friendships, but any form of relationship could benefit from these tools.

We really do thrive in community and I know we like to think we don’t need people, but we do. I truly believe relationships can be really good or really bad. They could even fall into one of the three categories: toxic, tolerable, or transcendent.

Toxic friendships hurt all parties involved. Tolerable friendships may help pass the time by, I think of them more like acquaintances, but are they truly groundbreaking? However, transcendent friendships are the ones that change lives. They’re the ones that bless you and all parties involved.

Decide today what type of friendships you want to have. And make sure the decision is a healthy one.
