We’re so glad you’re considering a marriage retreat with your spouse. We can both say that this is something we look forward to doing together. People may ask: why have a marriage retreat? Well, we have several reasons why we do a marriage retreat, but we tried to narrow them down to five. 

We try to focus on remembering why we got together in the first place. 

Our second is to be of one accord. We take this time to unplug and intentionally focus on each other. 

The third reason is we Learn from Our Past: The best way we plan for the future is by learning from our past failures and successes. 

Measurement is our fourth reason: As a tool of measurement, we take this time to highlight improvements throughout the year(s).

The fifth and final reason is Intentionality: We take this time to be intentional—not just in focusing on one another, but also in dating each other.
