Mary would have grown up in a strong Jewish home. Her life was set like most girls her age. She would have a prearranged marriage and later have numerous children. She would likely never travel very far from home, and later die in obscurity. However, that is not Mary’s story, she is the recipient of a special calling from God the Father and that she was to be the mother of our savior.
