The Rose home had a tragic experience at the hands of one of their own family members when several members of the family were murdered with rat poison. After the Rose family tragedy it was the home of pulitzer prize winning novelist Louis Bromfield.
Kara is telling us some of the interesting tales and creatures that inhabit the Appalachian Mountains and four rules to always follow when hiking trails in the Appalachia areas.
