Setting The Theme: The Extraordinary

SPEAKER_00

I believe that the Lord has been good to us. We thank God for His grace. Another brand new day. The last last Sunday of this month, January the 25th. The month is passing by, and I thank God for His grace so far. So welcome. I want just to go and read a scripture, and then we're going to pick up from there, even as we continue giving God for an extraordinary year 2026. We've been working on that theme the last couple of Sundays, and I pray that the Lord today will encourage us even as we continue trusting Him for the extraordinary, extraordinary this morning.

Reading Matthew 14:22–33

SPEAKER_00

The Gospel Matthew, we're going to go to Matthew chapter 14. And we're going to be reading verses 22 to 33. The Bible says immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side while he dismissed the crowd. After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone, and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves, because the wind was against it. Shortly before dawn, Jesus went out to them walking on the lake. When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. He said, and cried out in fear. It is I. Don't be afraid. Peter replied, Tell me to come to you on the water. Come, he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water, and came toward Jesus. And when he saw the wind, he was afraid and beginning to sink, he cried out, Lord, save me. Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. He said, Why did you doubt? And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, Truly, you are the Son of God. The Lord bless the reading of his word. So this morning, brethren, I want to uh use this scripture to pray that it shall be an encouragement to us. Um, even as we continue on this theme of the extraordinary. Uh, the extraordinary. Now, here um the Bible captures one of the most, I would say, amazing things that the Lord Jesus Christ did uh while he

Water As Symbol Of Trouble

SPEAKER_00

walked here on earth. Him walking on water and coming to where the disciples were. Uh, before this, he had just fed a multitude of people who had been following him with a few loaves of bread and and fish. And then after that, he tells the disciples, get onto the boat and go to the other side. Then he dismisses that crowd that had been fed, that had been taken care of, their needs had been met. Um, and then the disciples get on the boat and they start um they start going. Now, this, of course, this is the setting of this thing is in a lake, it's in water. Now, water can be dangerous. Water is one of the most dangerous um substances here on earth. You know that the Lord, uh, God used water when he wanted to destroy the world. He allowed, he opened the floodgates of heaven and water flowed from under from the rain and actually destroyed the world. Water in the Bible is always symbolic of trouble. It's always symbolic of trouble. Uh, whenever water is mentioned, we've seen what water can do, what water can kill. Um, I do remember one of the days when I was um, you know, um getting myself learning how to swim. And, you know, we were, you know, some of us we are getting we are learning how to swim in the ocean, you know, those days. And I remember going with a couple of my friends um, you know, to the in the the the channel where the ships enter through the the into the into the Mombasa Island. We were just walking the water, it receded over um, and so you could walk on the coral reef up for some time, and then those days I was still learning, just learning how to swim. And then we are walking on this coral reef, and little did I know that actually the water was ending, and uh, you know, I just stepped on thinking that I'm stepping on a coral reef, and dip, I went into the water. I tried to go down thinking that I'm going to stand, and I realized there was no, um, there was no uh the the the the the bed was so far away that I'm standing there and learned somehow to balance. I managed to balance, and this is in the ocean, it's in deep water, it's the place where the ships are passing by. Then I managed to balance myself and you know my friend pulled me out. And I stood there and I said, Well, that was very that was very close. So water can be dangerous. Water can be dangerous. Um in in 2004, I think we saw the Asian tsunami, um, where the water, you know, there was an earthquake, and then uh water came out of the ocean and came and wiped out 190,000 people within minutes. 190,000 people died in the in the tsunami, I think, the in the 2000 and 2000. Um, 70% of the earth is covered by water. And and and so water is something that is significant um and and and in in the in in here on other than in the Bible. Water is a source is a life source. Without water, there is nothing we can do here. Um, but as much as water is a life source, it can also be dangerous. And people, a lot of people get killed uh by water. You know, if you look at the statistics of the number of children that have died on swimming pools, the numbers, the statistics is is is baffling. There are so many children um that get killed uh by in in you know swimming pools because water is dangerous. In fact, in Psalms chapter 18, Psalms chapter 18, the psalmist captures it well in Psalms 18, 15 to 16, he says, Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundation of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, oh Lord, the blast of the breath of thy nostrils. He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of the many waters. Uh, the psalmist is using water uh to show the situation he was in. It was a bad situation. He was about to be swallowed uh by the water. The Lord came and he drew him out of the many waters. So water represents the unstable circumstances of our life. Water represents the unstable circumstances in our life. And so as we look at the setting of this scripture where Jesus comes walking on water, it's just good to understand um the background here. But as much as water is unstable, uh God doesn't want us to drown. God doesn't want us to drown. When we look at the unstable elements of our lives, when we go through challenges, when we go through pain, when we go through things that we cannot understand. Um, you know, God does not want us to drown. He does not want us to be carried away by the waves, by the circumstances of life. He doesn't want us to be engulfed by the water or destroyed or swallowed over power. Um, I believe God wants us uh to be able to go through the waves and go over to the other side. And God wants us to overcome our circumstances. Whatever circumstances that come our way, God does not want us to sink under them. He wants us to be able to walk over them. And that's what I want to speak about here tonight. Uh, because I believe if we are going to experience the extraordinary, we need to be ready to walk over situations. We need to be able to walk on water. We need to be able to walk on the situations and the challenges that we find ourselves under

Walking Over Circumstances By Faith

SPEAKER_00

in. Uh as the psalmist said, um, you know, the Lord sent from above, he took him, he drew him out of the waters. I believe that God wants to draw us out of any water in circumstance, any challenge that we go through. Um, that he doesn't want us to be to drown, he doesn't want us to be engulfed by the waves, by the things that happen in our lives. God wants to extend his hand and pull us out of that situation. And so this morning, whatever you are, whatever you are going through, we go through tough things, tough times, tough seasons. We go through moments that are difficult. God does not want us to be engulfed by it. He just wants us to drown, to be carried away, to be destroyed. Um, he wants us to be able to walk over all those circumstances that come our way. The Bible talks of the waves we are buffeting the boat. The boat was being buffeted by waves. Um, you know, things and challenges, um, they you know, they come like in waves. I don't know whether it's only me, but once when when things come, they come like waves. You could have been just everything, life was going on normal, everything was fine, then bang, you got waves just you know, just challenging us. They come before you deal with this one, another one comes. You deal with this one, another one comes. That can feel like you know, the the waves are just coming and coming and coming and walking over us. Um, but I believe that God wants us to be able to go through every wave that comes our life. And I pray that today the Lord will encourage us, we open our hearts and allow him to speak to us. Uh, because life is like that. Uh, the Bible says, even as the waves buffeted this boat, when Jesus came, he came walking on the water, he came walking on the water. And part of the reason why he was able to do that is because he had spent the night praying. He had spent the night praying. When he came in there, being buffeted by the waves, and then Jesus just comes and walks over. That's why I love this prayer meeting. I believe this is one way of being able to walk over the circumstances of life, and we can rally together, we can pray together, we can encourage one another. And whatever the circumstances of life come, we can you know prayerfully, you know, together, uh, you know, walk over them. Um, and and the Bible says that he came walking over, and they said, if it is you, Peter, of course, says, if it's you, tell me to come. Um, and and and then when Jesus told Peter to come, um, you know, you can imagine this was an act. Sometimes it looks very simple, but you can imagine it's the middle of a lake, the waves are puffing this boat. It was not that easy. Uh, the waves were strong. Um, but you know, Peter uh is able to jump out and come and begin actually to walk, and of course it begins to begins to sink. And then immediately Jesus reaches his arm, he catches him. And remember, Peter was a seasoned fisherman. So for him to say, Save me, it was a bad situation. Um, you know, this was he was an experienced man, he had fished on this lake many times, um, so he knew us, he knew water, he was a good, good waterman, and he stands and he says, Save me, Lord. And of course, Jesus reaches unto him and saves him from the water. And the Bible says, those in the boat worshiped him. And so this morning, uh brethren, I want to encourage us uh on how to um for for us to experience the all the extraordinary, we need to be ready to walk on water. We need to be able to walk on our circumstances because circumstances will come our way, and we want to make sure that when they come and batter us, we can be able to walk over those circumstances. We don't do that, circumstances will take us out, uh, we'll they'll they'll they'll take us out, the waves will bury us, they'll engulf us, they'll bury us, um, and we'll not be able to reach the other side, which is where God wants us to be. So, whatever the circumstance that we find ourselves in, God wants to save us, He wants to deliver us, He wants to take us to the other side. And I pray that today uh we can be encouraged as we look at a few points here. So, number one, uh we need to obey and understand that sometimes the will of God will be difficult. The will of God, doing the will of God will be difficult sometimes. We need to be we need to understand that. Sometimes we think, oh, because we are born again, we are Christians, we are doing everything that we think is right, then therefore we will not experience the waves that come in life. And that's not necessarily theologically correct. Um, the fact that we are in God's will does not mean that we will not come across difficult

Prayer And Worship As Power

SPEAKER_00

situations. Um, here uh you know obedience does not um obedience does not make us immune from adversity. Obedience does not make us immune from adversity. Remember, Jesus is the one that told them to get into the boat, but they ended up in a very difficult situation. They were absolutely in God's will. They were in the right will of God. Jesus is the one who told them to get in there, go to the other side, they obeyed, they went into the boat and they are doing exactly what the Lord has told them to do. And you know, you could be exactly in God's will. You have done everything right, you have prayed, you have fasted, you have done everything, and then bang, something comes in, the waves begin to buff at you, and you wonder, God, why am I in this situation? Um, obedience does not make us immune from adversity. Um, and you know, and I believe this year we will have to obey God. Um, we can we can we may walk in God's will this year, obey him, and we will end up in a bad situation. Uh, we could end up in a bad situation. Um, but whatever the situation, God wants us to be able to walk over it and not allow it to engulf us. And so even as we come in on the third week of January and the you know, the 11 months are ahead of us, we will walk in God's will. But whatever the circumstance that comes, I will not be ready to say, you know, God, I'll walk over this circumstance, I'll not allow it to drown me, engulf me, perfect me, take me to the bottom of the bed of the sea, I'll be able to be able to walk over. Therefore, in you know, obedience does not make us immune from adversity. I think it's an important thing for us to understand because sometimes we can have a pity, pity, we can feel, oh my god, why me? Why is this happening to me? The Lord did I do anything wrong? No, absolutely not. These disciples were absolutely in God's will, but they come across a huge, huge storm after taking their boat, and they are about to drown. Then Jesus comes to rescue them. So it's important to understand that, and even us as a nation, um, you know, the storms that we are going through, economic storms as a nation, the political storms and all these things that we are going through, we need to believe God and we'll be able to walk over them and we'll go out to the other side, and the country will be safe, it shall be okay. You know, it may not end up with your favorite people, the people that you love, but it shall be okay. God is going to take us to the other side because he loves the country and uh uh he hears the prayer of the saints. So we need to um just understand that that even when you are in the perfect will of God, you can go through difficult circumstances. Obedience does not mean immunity from adversity, and we need to understand that and uh rest that rest that case. Number two, I think it's we need to know that we need to know and have a good appreciation of the presence of God, the presence of God and the call of God in our lives, the presence of God and the call of God in our lives. The song that we are singing at the beginning of this service was all I all I want is to be with you, Lord. All I want is to be in your presence, Lord. And that's important because when these storms come your way, it is who you are with that matters. And so we need to have that desire to know God, the presence of God, but also the call of God in our in our lives. Um, you know, the presence of God comes when we sing, when we sing genuine praises to Him. Bible says God inhabits in the praises of His people. That's why praise and worship is very important because it brings down the presence of God and not just any song. Uh it's not just any song. No, no, no. It is singing genuine, when there's a genuine praise from our hearts unto God, his presence comes down. When he comes down, he's able to save this in order to save us. So we need to see to be able to sing genuine praises. We need to give him worship and adoration. Um, we'll see later on what happened in this boat when Jesus uh now comes into the boat. The Bible says the disciples worshiped him. Um, we need to give God his worship, his adoration. And we need to be always sensitive to God's move in a service. You know, you know, whenever you are whenever there's a service, even here this morning, God is moving, God is speaking, God's presence moves. And it is, if you're sensitive in the spirit, you can be able to tap into God's into the timing of God and receive from Him. And I think it is something that we need to sharpen and you know, that sensitivity to the move of God, that sensitivity to the move of the Holy Spirit. So that You can be able to receive from God. You can be in a service, and God is moving. The presence of God is there, and you don't receive from Him because you are not sensitive to it. You're not sensitive. There are things that we said there are things that bring the presence of God. Worship, praise, sacrifice. You know, sacrifice. Remember when Elijah, Elijah offered, they offered the sacrifice, the presence of God came in. So, and that's why in our service, uh, today we're going to be going to our church services. If you want to experience the presence of God, make

Hearing God In Dark Moments

SPEAKER_00

sure those ingredients are there. Give God praise, give God, worship, then offer sacrifice to God. His presence always comes down. Those are things that bring uh the presence of God. And we're talking about genuine worship and genuine, genuine, genuine, genuine praise. Um, and so we have to be absolutely sensitive uh to God's move in our service so that when God is moving, you can then be able to tap uh into him and you can be able to experience his power. Um, God speaks to us many times when we are in trouble. In our darkest moments, in our darkest moments, God always speaks. If you are sensitive to him, if you are not so much focused on on the waves that are buffeting you, if you are sensitive and you are tuned to God, he will speak. These um disciples almost they almost missed Jesus. The Bible says he came and they thought he's a ghost. They are so buffeted by the waves when they see Jesus, they think that he's actually a ghost and they almost missed him, they almost miss his presence. And you can't be in the house of God, in a fellowship, and actually you miss God's presence. That's why it's important to lean in, to lean in there, to allow, not allow yourself to be distracted. If you have made a decision to be in a service, be there physically, spiritually, emotionally, everything. Put your heart into it, then be sensitive and allow God to speak. When God moves, you'll be able to tap uh into into him. Jesus came to them in the fourth watch of the night. See, the fourth watch of the night speaks about the darkest hour. The darkest hour. You you'll you'll hear the call of God. You'll hear the call of God. He speaks to us in our lowest moments. If we hear uh from him, I was thinking about it yesterday out. I was reflecting on this message. I remembered, you know, there's this this time I was so sick. Um, you know, in the hospital. I think it's the first time I'd been admitted in a hospital. This was, I mean, those days, you know, when I had just come from from college, and um, you know, I got this bad, this bad malaria, you know, this bad malaria that completely took me out. I remember being administered cuning. You know, this cuning, there was a medicine they used to give people. I was lying at them at Cooper nursing home. And I'd been there for almost a week, and and they were putting, um, you know, they were they were putting cuning, pumping cunin into my into my body, and that medicine was so bad, it was it weakened me completely. I remember one this one night I'm sleeping there, and I'm like, this was it. This was like, um, you know, I was thinking now this is it. I don't think I'm going to make it. And I I remember, you know, feeling like the bed is being lifted up and I'm going up and I'm going up, I'm going down. And you know, on that night, I remember making a prayer to God. I told God, if you would rescue me from this, if you would rescue me from this. And God heard my prayer. God speaks in your lowest moments. I was so weak that even um I remember going to the bus to take the bus home. And when the Kenya bus, those days there were buses called Kenya bus. When the bus came to stop, I almost fell down because of just the momentum of the bus. I was so weak, completely weak, and I could not stand. I was like, you know, but I thank God because um, you know, from that moment God healed me, and I've never ever been back in that situation. So God speaks in the mirrors, in the bottom of your in this book, deep dark moments. He speaks. Um, and I believe God visited me that night. I'd be I I asked God to give me a second chance. He visited me that night. And um I remember my brothers came in to take me home, and um, you know, you know, and I it took me almost like two weeks to recover. Couldn't do anything. Two weeks, I could not do anything. I was just so weak. But God hears the prayer. And so when in your lowest moment, brothers and sisters, God speaks if you don't um you know focus on the waves um so much. And Jesus came into the fourth hour, the fourth watch of the night. It's the darkest hour. Um, you know, and so you when when he comes, you'll have to discern and hear his call. Um, you'll have to discern and hear his call because um, you know, you need to discern not just his presence, but also his call. When Jesus comes to where the disciples are, one they are of course scared that he's a ghost and they're who is this? And they're scared. So his presence was there. But not only was God's presence there, but also he had a call, you know, is his call. So, and sometimes um, you know, God is calling on us, God is calling on us to um, and he uses many ways to speak to us when he's calling us, even into ministry, um that and he's calling us, he uses many, many ways um, you know, to call us, to to call us into his ministry, and to call us into his purpose. And he uses many, many ways to call us, but we need to be able to decide not just his presence, but also his call on our lives. And this morning, brethren, even as we go to the church, as we serve God, we need to continually listen to the calling that God has in our lives. Some of us, God is calling us to speak ministries. We have healing ministries, we have a ministry for things that we can do to touch lives. And but you have to learn to hear him, you'll have to learn to hear his voice, not just his presence, but also his call on your life. And he, when he calls, he keeps coming. He'll call, he'll keep coming, he'll keep coming, you'll keep coming, and you'll always feel it. Hey, that's that God is calling me into this, God is calling me into this ministry, God is calling me to do more than I'm doing, God is calling me to give, God is calling me. The call of God is always going out, and we have to be able to discern call, his presence, and also his call. And this is what happened on this night, on this night with the disciples. Number three, for us to explain to be to be able to walk over our circumstances and walk on water, we need to be always poised to get out of the boat. We need to be able to be ready to get out of the boat. There are people that must wait until God capsizes the boat, uh, is calling us, and you know, we we're so resistant. We are not poised to get out. So we have to wait until the boat is capsized, and then it's capsized, that's when we now stand up and start fronting and asking for help. We need to be ready and poised. We have to stand at the edge of the boat and be ready like Peter. Um, you know, the boat is whatever we are tempted to put our trust in. The boat is whatever we are tempted to put trust in. We, you know, we in life we put our trust in many things. It could be family, uh, it could be the money, the jobs that we have, the cars, the houses. Um, the way we put our trust in drugs. Um, in, you know, when we are sick, we put our trust in the hospitals, we put our trust in food. There are many things that keep us comfortable. There are many things that keep us comfortable, and we can be, we can experience that comfort and never get out of the boat. And when we don't get out of the board, then we never be able to reach the other side, or we end up being capsized in the boat. God, it is um, you know, it is never easy to answer the call of God. It's never easy to answer the call of God. Um, you but we have to get out of the board. So this morning, I don't

Discern Presence And Calling

SPEAKER_00

know, because what happens is that is God takes you to levels, he moves you to this level, to the next level. We have the the enemy is very crafty. He has a way of making us comfortable at levels. So, you know, and he wants you to be comfortable and reach the end to feel like, hey, I've arrived, I'm you know, born again, everything is working well. But that's not how God wants. God doesn't want us to be comfortable, he wants us to rely on him and not the bones. What are you comfortable in? Maybe some of us have got comfortable in small ministries, but God is calling us to something new, you know, telling you to try something new. Maybe you have been doing ushering, but now God is calling you into a new ministry, into a teaching ministry, into the singing ministry, into the preaching ministry. You have been comfortable in the choir, but God is calling you into a bigger thing. He's saying, now this is the time for you to stretch your wings. Um, you know, where you are is good, but I have got bigger things for you. And you've done that for so long, and you've been so comfortable. And now God wants to stretch us and you know to move us into the next season of our lives. So we we cannot be comfortable, we cannot allow comfort to to ruin us. We need to try something new, and for that, we need to be poised to get out of the boat. Um, you know, don't we should not just settle on the seat and we need to get out there and serve and and and do something and extend God's agenda. This should be the attitude that we that we have. And you know, it is hard to get out. It's not easy to get out of the boat if we love our comfort zones. Even as cream, we can get comfortable in what we have done, we can get comfortable with the accomplishments than what we have been able to do. But you know, God is calling us saying, let's stretch, stretch our wings, let's do something. Lord, let us get comfortable where we are. The year 2026, if God is gonna do the extraordinary, we need to be poised to get out of the boat, get out of our comfort as a ministry, try something new, attempt something else new, pray more, get deeper with God, um, you know, try something different and see what God is going to be able to do in our lives. Brethren, we cannot afford to be comfortable. Um, you know, God has a big agenda and we need to be ready to get out. Um, but one thing we have realized that once you get out, you'll never regret or want to go back. You know, when we started off this ministry, it was not easy, brethren, to come out of our church setting, out of our church environment. We were very comfortable with dynamic youth groups, we were, you know, everything was going on well, we are respected, and we were completely comfortable. And we could have gone on for that until the Lord began to call us out. And it was not easy. But today we look back and we say, Oh, I'm so glad that I was able to get out. I'm so glad I did not get stuck in that church environment. Um, and I look at what God has been able to do through us and in us and the impact that this ministry continues to have over people and and and generations. I'm so glad we're able to come out. Um, so whenever you get out, you'll never regret or want to go back. Any area of your comfort where you are stuck in a comfort area, when you treat your wings, the boat, and try something else, you'll never be able to regret why you did it. You know, um you'll never be able to regret why you did it. It is all it always moves you forward. It always, you know, um, it always brings transformation in your life. You never want to go back. I was reading the story of a gentleman called Matthew Um Consolato. He, this man, he got an idea um you know to start up a comedy channel on television. Those days, you know, these comedy channels on television, he had this great idea um that he should go and start up something and even do it on television. And the and and you know, he he had the idea was coming up so strongly, and he could do it. Um, but he slipped into the habit of just playing it safe and pulling back. He said, Oh, yeah, wait, let me wait and see, let me wait and see. And then one day uh he goes into the television and opens up, and there was a comedy called Comedy Central. Most of you have watched um, you know, the the uh the the uh CNN and Folk News, you'll see it's called Comedy Central. Two young people, the same age as him, had moved forward and started the channel called Comedy Central. He had the idea, it came in well in time, he could do it, but he was so comfortable, he never stepped out to do it. And then he sees it on television. Two young people, exactly the same age as him, have gone ahead and they have launched it. And he sat there and saying, What an opportunity I have missed just by being comfortable. Sometimes, brethren, we can miss big opportunities because of being comfortable. And and I we can tell you many, many stories of opportunities that have been missed because we are comfortable. But this is what this is what happened. He he was that thing traumatized him. The very idea that he had, and the the the show was so successful, and he sitting there and said, That could have been me. I had the idea, I had the resources, but I was just so comfortable. I never did it. Now, thanks, other people have gone, they've done it, they have been

Get Out Of The Boat

SPEAKER_00

successful. Why he had been so comfortable? So, anyway, he went on uh to write a book called How to Kick Out the Habits of Failure and Adopt the Habits of Success. He wrote that book, um, you know, to help people um so that they don't make the same mistake as him. Um, so we and you know the book is there, it's available, you can read it. But it's it's it's such an um it was such an appalling thing where you an idea you had and that you wanted to do, but you are so comfortable in your boat that you never step out. So, brethren, if we're going to experience the extraordinary, we need to be poised to get out of the boat. Let us not be comfortable in the things that we have done. Let's look at the areas, our comfort zones, and let's challenge ourselves to step in towards new. Sometimes untried, it's been untested, but you'll never be able to regret once you step out uh into your new environment. Number four, we need to get out and walk even if everyone else does it. We need to get out and walk even if everyone else does not. In this boat, there were 11 people in the boat, and and and and none of them there are enough people in the boat. It's only Peter that stood out and was having his goal with Jesus. And what do you think was happening in the boat as Peter steps out of that that boat and is moving in? And I was sitting there and I'm saying, for Peter to step out and go into the sea, this man had absolute trust in God. He had trust in Jesus. The moment he said it's Jesus, I'm here, and he tells him, Come, he knew that even if he steps into that water and something comes, he knew that the Lord Jesus Christ had the power to save him. And that's important preference because if we are going to attempt anything, if we're going to go through life circumstances, we need to be having that confidence that Jesus will come through for us. Even when the boats are beating us, and you you don't, you know, it's dark, and you you just have to keep the faith that God will come through for you. Initially, it may be dark, it may do it may look impossible. You don't know where to start, where to go, what to do, even how to deal with it. But you need to have absolute trust in God. Peter understood. Even if I step and it does not work out, Jesus has the ability to pull me out. He trusted him. Brethren, this year 2026, we need to build trust. We need to trust God. We need to trust God. Our prayers need to be those ones that God help me to trust you. Help me to trust you. I'm not praying with my one eye open. No, no, I want to trust you 100%. That if as I step out, as I do this thing, whatever happens, however, good, tough, waves, profiting, whatever happens, I want to trust that you'll be able to hold my hand and take me to the other side. I will and we need to believe that. You know, because that is a key ingredient for us being able to step on. And Peter understood that this year, President, I was saying, God help me to trust you. I don't want to trust my experience, my education, trust my you know, the jobs that we do. I just want us to reach a point where I can actually trust God to come through for me, irrespective of what is happening around us. God is faithful and I want to trust him. Peter understood this, and I believe that's why he was able to step out. The other 11, they are sitting there. I believe, you know, they must have been wondering, hey, what do you think you are? Um, you know, here he goes again. Um, you know, they I'm sure they were wondering why he tried to do this. You know, many people can be negative, people can be fearful. Remember when the the when Moses sent the spies, it's only two that came back with a positive, with a positive report, two only. The rest were all negative. They are saying it's not possible. So people can be negative. People can be negative, people can you know wear you out, they can make you fearful, they can make you never attempt anything because you you see things through the lenses of their fears. Um, and you know, only one man had the courage to get out of the boat. Only one man had the courage to get out of the boat. And and and I believe Peter must have sat there and said, What? If I get out of this boat and this is actually Jesus, I'm going to have a unique experience. I'm going to have an experience that I will never be able to trade for anything. Um, and you know, sometimes we we just do that, even if nobody else comes out of the boat, even if you're the only one in your family. Um sometimes some of us we are the only, you know, we are we are you find you're you're the only one who is born again in your family, and you have to keep, you know, you have to stand in there and believe God. And later on you see the family turning around. Sometimes you attempt something that nobody else has ever done. Um you risk it all and and out there and and and um you know the 11, there are people that eater that stood out. Um, and and and you know, sometimes we we just need to do that, even if nobody else is doing it, even if everybody else is corrupt and and you know everybody is stealing from the government, you see, you know, you can say, No, I will not do that. I will stand up and I'll trust God to meet my needs. Um even if everybody else is moving, uh, you know, doing whatever they are doing, but you stand up and we trust, absolute trust in God, he'll come through, he'll come through for us as for you and even for us as a ministry. Peter must have said, Wow, there's a possibility here of me meeting Jesus, it's a possibility of being with him and walking with him, and an experience that no one can ever uh you can never compare. Um, and this is what this is what he did, you know. And sometimes, brethren, we have to separate from friends for us to go and serve God. You know, Peter had to separate from this 11 for him to go to where the Lord Jesus was. And sometimes that it comes into us. When we started up this ministry, we had to separate with very dear friends, very dear friends who we serve with together, dear brothers and sisters, we did life together. When it came to decision point, uh, we had to separate uh from them and do what God had called us to do. And sometimes you have to do that. Because you see, in life, there are people who call possibility thinkers, people who always look at, you know, how do we make it possible, how do we find a way to make it work. And they are impossibility thinkers. Um, people who look at why it can't work. You know, they always look at how showing you how it cannot work, the negative, why it's difficult, why you may fail, why you may be arrested, why you may end up here and here and here and here. Um, and and and if you focus on that, you'll never be able to do anything. When we started up the ministry, we are not registered. We were not registered at all. We didn't have a registration, nothing. And for over 10 years, I think it was over over 10 years or more, we did ministry with absolutely no Registration. When people came to we are not registered, we are no entity. We didn't have any legal entity, nothing. But we did ministry. And not once did we think that oh, maybe we'll get arrested and people will ask us why you're not registered. We never thought about it. We just went in. And can you imagine if we had fought there and said, Oh, you know, we must wait to be registered, we must wait to get this, we must wait to get this. We never have done anything. We just went on. We just started preaching, and by God's grace, we traveled over this country, we did so many things. Later on, I think is when we now came to get our register, our registration. Sometimes it's possibility thinkers, you know, our possibility thinking. How is what is possible? You know, what's possible? Just focus on that. Don't let people show you on how it is impossible and why it is impossible for you uh, you know, to to get things done. So we need to be able to be ready to work out even when everyone else does not. And brethren, um, as I bring this to a close this year 2024-26, if God is gonna do the extraordinary, we need to be willing to walk over, walk over every situation that's going to come our way. We be water walkers, any situation that comes our way. We need to understand that obedience um you know to the will of God can land us in difficult situations, and that's okay. God will see us through, He'll rescue us. We need to know that we need to sense the presence of God and the and and the voice of God and the calling of God uh in our lives. We need to be always poised to get out of the boat, examine what makes us comfortable, and start stretching out and stretching out what is you know, getting out of our

comfort zones, and then uh we need to get out even if everyone else does not. We don't do it by public opinion. What God has called you to do, you recognize his voice, you need to step out, even if no one else in the board is willing to go, and you're gonna experience the extraordinary in the year 2026. Brethren, the Lord bless us so much. I want to invite us to in a time of prayer as our brother and Dolo comes to wrap it up for us. But I don't know what you have picked up this night, but I believe whatever the situation we're going to come through, we need to walk over it. We need to walk over it, we need to walk over it. We don't allow it to engulf us, to finish us, to swallow us. God wants us to go through whether it's a sickness, whether it's an attack, financials, whatever it is. We need to poise ourselves to walk over it and trust God uh to see us to the other side in Jesus' mighty name. So let's unmute, brethren. Let's respond to that in prayer, and let's uh brother Nolo will come on the hour to close it up for us in Jesus' name. And a man, a man.
