We

Welcome And Gratitude To God

SPEAKER_00

appreciate his grace upon our lives, and um we just thank him for this father that he has continued to bring unto us. I don't know where you are connecting from. Um, but we thank God for you. We thank God for his mercies. Uh, when we see what's happening around uh the rains that are falling all over and the flooding, uh, we just uh bless the Lord for his safety, for his mercies upon us, and we're going to need to trust him for his grace every hour. So welcome uh into this very, very special service this morning. We are living indeed in the last days, and um, you know, when we reflect on what is happening all around the world, I know we have been praying. We have now entered almost day 22 of this war in the Middle East, day 22, and it continues to escalate. I think those of you who may have been following the news yesterday, Iran has struck some, you know, the nuclear facilities in Israel. So it's continuing to rise every day. Um, you know, we don't know how they will respond to that, but it's continuing to rise. Uh, every single day, it's getting worse and worse. Um, and ours is to pray. We are almost living in those biblical days uh when the nation of Israel was at war throughout. If you remember during the days of David the king, they were fighting throughout,

Last Days And Global тревble Signs

SPEAKER_00

fighting every front, the Philistines, every nation around them. Uh, and we are seeing these things right in our eyes, and we can only know that we are in the last days. In fact, I was just being reminded, and that's not my message today in Matthew chapter 25. He talks about the parable of the ten virgins, and it's in we are encouraged and say that the kingdom of heaven is like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep. At midnight, the cry rang out, Here is the bridegroom. Come out to meet him. Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. The foolish ones said to the wives, Give us some of your oil. Our lamps are going out. No, they replied, There may be not be enough for both of us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for ourselves. But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet, and the door was shut. Later on, the others came, they said, Open the door for us. But he replied, Truly I tell you, I don't know you. Therefore, therefore, and that's what I just want to encourage us this morning as we begin this prayer meeting. Therefore, keep watch. Keep watch because you do not know the day or the hour. And this is, you know, the Lord continues to challenge us this morning. Brethren, as we watch the events that are happening all around us, um, you know, let's keep watch. Let's keep watch. Um, because the Bible says no one knows the day, nor

Ten Virgins And Staying Ready

SPEAKER_00

anyone knows the hour. But the signs are there all for all of us to say. And so we need to make sure that we have got oil. We make sure we need to have sure we have enough oil in our lambs uh so that when the bridegroom comes, we don't run, go look for oil. We can have enough oil in our lambs. Enough oil, let's have enough faith to keep going. Um, but you know, just think about the oil. It really speaks about revelation. I was thinking about for us to make sure that we have the revelation of what is happening around us. I understand that that the spiritual to have the that's the revelation of the Lord, to make sure that we always have revelation in everything that is happening all around us. Make sure you have got revelation.

Oil Means Revelation And Awareness

SPEAKER_00

Uh, you stay in revelation as you observe, as you walk, as you look around at what's happening in the world. Let us pray that the Lord will give us revelation, that we always have the revelation of the Lord so that that becomes our oil in our lamb. The oil in our lamb is revelation to know what is happening around us so that we are ready. Because nobody knows the day, nobody knows the how. The signs are all there for us to see. So let's get ready. Let's continue to prepare ourselves in every single way. Do what you must do. Let's serve God as we can. Love as much as you can, serve as much as you can, and um, let's get ourselves ready. Let's have oil. Uh, for the Bible says, therefore, keep watch because you do not know the day or the hour. Let's make sure we have oil in our lambs. Revelation revelation. Before the Bible says the bridegroom was long in coming, the bridegroom was long, was a long time in coming. And when the when there's delay, you can become drowsy. The Bible says they all all of them all of them became drowsy because they waited for so long and they became drowsy. But when the midnight came, what mattered is did you have oil? Did you have revelation? You know what's happening around you. Uh, because those that had revelation just put on their lamps and they went around ready to meet the bridegroom. But those who did not have oil, that's the time they were running around to get oil, and it was too late. When they came back, he said, I don't know you. So, brethren, during this very, very tough moments that's happening around us, even in our own nation, when we look at what is happening all around us, we need revelation. Revelation, the spirit of revelation to be upon us uh as brethren, so we can continue to serve, we can continue to uh to do what we must do and remain connected to Jesus Christ. Amen. So

David Teaches Courage In Battles

SPEAKER_00

um last weekend we had started up talking about David. Um, David, and we are learning a lot of things from David as a man that lived extraordinary lives, and we uh we finished up by some truths. Um, if you remember where we left last time, uh we said life is full of battles, life is full of battles, and you must be willing to confront the obstacles, you must be willing to confront the obstacles and confront the circumstances, confront the people and personal challenges that continuously appear between you and the goals that you have set for your every aspect of your life. Uh, you must be willing to confront uh the obstacles. And even when we see what is happening in the Middle East, you can understand where people are coming from. You are sitting there, there's a country, and we've got another one there saying, we don't want your life, we want to kill you, we want to destroy you, we want to wipe you out from the face of the earth. And the question is, do you sit down and wait to be wiped out, or do you go and be on the offensive? And I don't want to um to debate that here, but you've got somebody that is saying continuously I'll wipe you out of the earth at any opportunity. And I'm building up weapons to wipe you out. You sit and wait, or do you wake up and take the courage and say, you know what, I'm not willing to be wiped out. I'll come, let's wipe out each other. Um, and you know, life is full of battles. So you must be willing to confront the battles, obstacles. You must have the courage to fight, you must have the courage to um, you know, to overcome the status quo and fight because that's just how life is. And we saw that your past does not affect your future. Um, you have to start thinking differently and surrender to God. And that's why we we stopped last time. We saw that when they came to anoint David as the king, they did not consult his past. He was a shepherd boy, completely forgotten by everybody. Um, but he got anointed to become the king of Israel, and he went on to fight and and and deliver the children of Israel from this Goliath that stood there and tormented them for days. He said, I'll kill all of you, send me a man, I'm here, I'm strong. And David said, This cannot continue. We cannot continue like this. I'll risk my life and I'll go out there and I will take out this man. And um, he God gave him victory. Uh so he had the courage to rise up and fight, and God gave him the victory. Now it's not just David. If we go to um John chapter 1, uh John chapter 1, verses 40 to 42, we see Peter.

Peter Shows God Transforms People

SPEAKER_00

Uh John chapter 1, verses 40 to 42. The Bible says, Andrew Simon, Peter's brother, was one of the two who heard what John had said, and who had followed Jesus. The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, We have found the Messiah, that is the Christ, and he brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, You are Simon, you are Simon, son of John. You'll be called Cephas, which then translated uh to Peter. Now, again, we're looking here that God will take ordinary people and use them to do extraordinary things. And we saw what David did. David, small shepherd boy, did not really bother about his past and was able to anoint him to become king of Israel. Now, same thing with Peter. Peter, um, Jesus comes, he says Peter, he's called Simon, son of John. He said, You will be called Cephas, which when translated means uh Peter. Peter had limitations, uh, he will he will he had a lot of limitations, but Jesus gets hold of him and trans, you know, um transforms him. And he tells him, You may have limitations, Peter, but when you start relating with me, you'll be different. You'll be different. And that is what happens, rather, we come to Jesus as ordinary people, with a lot of baggage from the past, with a lot of missteps and mishaps in the past, a lot of scars. But when we surrender ourselves and offer ourselves to God, he's able to translate us, and then we God can use us to do extraordinary things in our lifetime. Peter was just a normal person with a lot of weaknesses, and Jesus comes and says, I'm going to change you, I'm going to transform you. You'll no longer be called Cephas. You'll not be called, you'll know you are you are Simon, the son of John, but you'll now be called Cephas, which translates to mean Peter. Very ordinary person, but God takes hold of him and God uses him to do extraordinary things. And Peter became the leader of the first church. And I believe, brethren, this morning, he will do the same to you. He will do the same thing to you who is here this morning to me. We are just ordinary vessels. And if God has got hold of us, he will uh he will, if he takes control, if we allow him to take control, he will use you to do extraordinary things. The question is, who is in control of your life? Peter went through many trials, he went through many storms, um, but God saw him through. At some point in time, even betrayed Jesus. Um, he ran away, but Jesus restored him, and he went on to lead the first church. And uh today we talk about the victories that he went through. But he was he went through many things, even attempted to walk on water, failed. Jesus rescued him. And we talk about Peter, the man of God. Um, and not just the the New Testament.

Abraham Proves It Is Not Late

SPEAKER_00

Abraham, Abraham, God called him at 75 to start a brand new nation. You're saying maybe you know, God is using only the young people. No, no, no. Abraham, 75 years of age, and he calls him to begin a brand new nation. He calls him and says, I'm going to take you to a place, to a land that you that's great. I'm going to make you into a great nation. And again, he surrenders to God and he starts a brand new nation. So even for us who are advancing age, it's never too late. It's never too late. Once God gets all of you, you can do extraordinary things. We talk about Father Habra, Father of faith. And when did God call him? He called him at 75 to start a brand new nation. So I don't know how many of us here are over 75. I'm sure there are very few, even at all. And so that means God can still use you to start a brand new nation. He can still use you to start a brand new ministry. He can start to use you to do great things, amazing things in your family, in our nation. You know, God is not done with us yet. That's why it's so encouraging to see you know people going back to school, equipping themselves, getting extra degrees, getting extra skill set. You know what? God is not done with us. Your best days are ahead of you, and you should be very proud of yourself as you keep equipping yourself and moving forward because God is not done with you yet. Your days are your best days are ahead of you, and there's so much to be accomplished. God called Abraham at 75, and he went on to do amazing, extraordinary things. The biggest mistake you can begin to slow down. Oh, yeah, because maybe you have you have retired or something like that. You begin to slow down.

SPEAKER_01

No, no.

SPEAKER_00

Retirement age is just a number. That is just the beginning. Abraham gets called at 75. And in this in this sitting, we have talked about people that did extraordinary things, that started up big things after 70, and they went ahead to be absolutely successful. So, your best days are ahead of you. You're very young. We are very young. We're just beginning, even as a ministry, we have done absolutely nothing. This is just the beginning. There are great days ahead of us if Jesus tally is and we want to make the best of every opportunity. Moses,

Moses Learns Humility In Exile

SPEAKER_00

let's go to Moses as well. It even gets worse. God called him at the age of 80. 80 years as a leader of Israel. It took 80 years. That's when God finds Moses and begins to use him. At this time, Moses is not just an ordinary man. He is a murderer. He had murdered somebody in Egypt and he had gone into self-exile. He had gone into self-exile. He ran away, ended up looking after sheep out there in self-exile. You know, and um, you know, what speaks here to me is humility. God had managed, and you know, the uh Moses had become humble. You know, then Vahman had made him a humble man. And you see, there's something that God does when we humble ourselves. That's why the Bible says that there's a song that says, Humble yourself before the Lord, and he will lift you up, he will lift you up, humble yourself before the Lord, and he will lift you up Nenekea Beleza Puana Nahua. The way is down. Moses has humbled himself, and you know, to the extent that is looking after sheep. You know, looking after sheep was a sign of humility from the palace where he used to sit in Pharaoh's household from attempting to deliver Israel, and now he's in self-exile, and he's looking after sheep in the desert, in the parkside of the desert. And this is how you what you what life has done for him is looking after sheep. He's been given a wife and he's been employed, you know, there, and he's looking after this sheep. And um, you know, humility attracts God. Humility attracts God, and sometimes maybe part of the reason why we don't experience God is because we lack humbleness. And I think there's sometimes when you need to stand before God and and look, identify any areas in your life where you're beginning to lack humility, where you're beginning to lack humbleness and deal with it and continuously surrender um yourself to God, because then you you become a candidate for God's usage, and you become a candidate for doing the extraordinary humility.

Humility Attracts Favor And Grace

SPEAKER_00

God is the business of working humble people, and so even as we continuously come and go to the house of God, and we're standing there to pray, one of the things that you need to continuously evaluate yourself is um, you know, where are you lacking humility? Where are you lacking humbleness? And and it begins by what are you not willing to do? What are you not willing to do? What are you not willing to let go or surrender? You know, what are you not willing to do? What are you not willing to let go or surrender? And you need to release that, um, that which you're holding on, and allow God to start building you. Um, so this morning, even as we go to our Sunday worship services and we stand before God in his altar, you know, some of the prayers that we need to make is hey God, show me, show me the areas in my life where I'm beginning to lack humility, where I'm beginning to become full of self. Um, and it shows through the things you are not willing to do, the things that you're not willing to do. Moses from the palace you can imagine, the greatest of all places. I tell you to leave Israel in nice in self-exile, and every single day is looking up a sheep in the back side of the desert. That's where his life had reached. And it's at that state where God said, Now you are ready. I can use you. Now I can use you. You are that state where I can make use of you. And that time Moses is 18 years. Is he 18 years old? In Proverbs chapter 3, verses 34. The Bible says, He mocks, he mocks proud mockers but shows favor the humble and the oppressed. God's favor is looking for the humble and the oppressed. That says those are the people that attract the favor of God. Sometimes we say, Oh, I need the favor of God in my life. Um, now yesterday there was a song that Jonathan was playing here. You know, naombaki bali. How do you get favor? The favor of God comes to those that are humble. So you need favor, humble yourself. You know, humility. Once God sends humility, you become a vessel that God can begin to use. And this is where Moses had reached. Um, when he's willing to look after the ship, and and sometimes we'll we'll we'll look at People, you look at some of the fights that people have in relationship, uh, you know, relationships, you know, tensions, even in our political world, in our nation, you look at the things that are destroying our nation, it's lack of humility. It's lack of humility, leadership. That's humble. Where you begin believing is tit for tat. You abuse me, I abuse you. Lack of humility. Humility where you feel you don't know that God can defend you. You don't understand a position of leadership. You don't have to respond to every word that people are throwing at you. Um and and so humility is important, and we need to pray for this to really, really, really uh for our leaders to understand this because leadership without humility um is dangerous. It's is is dangerous. Um, Moses um had rich here. And so um in Proverbs 334 he says, he shows favor to the humble and oppressed. When you are oppressed, the favor of God comes upon you, begins to come over you, whether you're oppressed in the office, you're oppressed in the world, whatever you, you know, what God's favor moves around looking after the oppressed. In James chapter 4, verse 6, he says, but he gives more grace. That's why the scripture says, God opposes the proud, but shows favor to the humble. Again, here we are seeing God's favor being shown to the humble, and it gives more, he gives more grace. Do you want more grace? Do you want more you know more favor from God, then it's humility, humility. And and I pray that the Lord would help us as a ministry, um, as individuals, as families, as you know, homes, you know, workplaces, even as the Lord rises you in your workplace, as he grows you up, and you become and you grow up the ladder and you become the boards or whatever it is, humility should be tied around your neck. And and you'll be you the favor of God will rest upon you throughout. Um, you know, arrogance. Sometimes as we grow as you know, senior become arrogant, we um, you know, we want people to treat us, you know, in a particular way, uh we want to be treated special. You know, you know, those are all sides of when when when when humility is absent, you want to be treated special. You want to be treated in a very special way. Um, and that's why we don't like it. Even in this ministry, you realize we we we try to avoid uh we like honor, it's good to honor people. Um, but we try to avoid um you know those special treatments that we you know you try to give people because it can easily get into you, into your head, and you you begin to lose the humility that God wants from each one of us. We at the end of the day, we are all servants of the most high God. And so um, you know, what are you not willing to do? What are you not willing to do? Or what are you there are some, you know, I've seen people fight over positions of if I didn't get the seat at the front. Um, you know, I sat at the back and I wasn't recognized. I wasn't um recognized in that meeting, or you feel like oh, they didn't receive you properly as they should receive you, or they didn't call you the right name. We've seen people fighting over names and titles, or you know, I'm bishop this, or you know, reference this, and if people don't use that word, you feel offended. Um, humility. The Bible says God will show favor to the humble. And let's pray that we remain a humble ministry, irrespective of what God has done in our lives, the grace of God upon our lives, the breakthroughs that God continues to give us a ministry, let us remain humble. Let us never, ever, let's tie the rope of humility around our neck our loins. Um, I think there was a messenger speaking about loins the other day. Let's tie our uh the rope or the belt of humility around us so that uh we can continue to experience the favor of God in our lives. However high the Lord lifts you, never leave humility behind. Never feel that some you are bigger than other people, you are a special human being, that there's something special about you. Um, because then the favor of God begins to run away from you. Humility attracts the favor of God. So we see that's Moses. And now

Saul Becomes Paul Through Surrender

SPEAKER_00

in the New Testament, it's not just Moses, we also see Paul, the apostle, in Acts chapter 9, verses 1 to 4. In Acts chapter 9, verses 1 to 4, um, the Bible says, Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing murderous threats against the Lord's disciples. He went to the high priest and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any there who belonged to the way, whether men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem. As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, Saul, so why do you persecute me? Now, here was a bad man, a bad man, terrible man, says he was breathing murderous threats against the law's disciples. He even got a letter from the synagogues, a letter from the high priest that he could go to the synagogues in Damascus. He he found any Christian there, he rounded them up, he did not care whether we were men or women, he put them into prison. Um he took them to prison in to in Jerusalem, uh, to Jerusalem as prisoners. But the Bible says, So see near Damascus on his judge. And suddenly the Lord decided to confront him, and uh the light flashed around, he fell down to the crown, and the Lord asked him, Why do you persecute him? So he was a very bad man, a terrible man. And then God takes hold of him and transforms him into one of the finest preachers in the half of the New Testament written by him. This is what God does when he gets all of a man, because you can never surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ and remain the same. You can never be in the Lord and there's no change. You cannot be in the Lord and your language does not change. You cannot be in the Lord and your way of life does not change. You cannot be in the Lord and your character does not change. Now, this is this is what happened to Saul. He got converted, he took him a bad man. He hated people, he hated Christians, but God changed him, and and that's why we have this song that sings there has been a change since he got saved. You know, in Gikama, he says, You know, there has been a change. We used to sing it in Sunday school. You know, there has been a change since I got born again. And you see, we have to be saying that. We must be confessing that. That's the testimony. When you talk about testimonies in the house of God, when we stand to give testimonies, we give testimonies of what God is doing in our lives and the change that we are seeing. You can imagine Brother Paul standing up, and he stood up several times to testify. He said, I was, you know, I was the worst. If he says, I among the sinners, I was the worst. I was the worst. I killed people. The day the Lord appeared to me on my way from Damascus, on the way to Damascus, that day is when my transformation began, and my journey began to change. I hated people, no, not more. I hated people, he hated the way the people of the Lord, the the the the Christians, but God changed him, he transformed him, he changed him. And brethren, it's the same thing. What have you done in your past? Um, you know, many of us we we we did terrible things, we did bad things, we went, you know, we we did you know diff diff you know bad things, terrible things. But what is important is that we have now surrendered to the Lord Jesus Christ, and our past does not affect our future. So God takes hold of this bad man, purifies him, changes him, he begins to love people, and um I believe it's because Paul was willing to live behind, he was willing to leave it behind and put total trust on God who created him, and and trust on the Lord Jesus Christ who confronted him on that day on his way to Damascus. Brethren, when we surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ, completely surrender to him, he changes us. And when we when he changes us with this, you know, we become candidates for the extraordinary. And this is what happened uh to the apostle Paul, completely transformed. And we see him testifying, witnessing, and saying, brethren, if Christ could do this to me, he can also do to you. And you know that, brethren, that becomes our testimony. That a testimony is our life. It's when you yourself stand up and say, Brethren, oh, if you see me stand here, surely, if I can be here and you can see my way of life, you can see the way I'm speaking, you can see my action, you can see my way of life. This is God. It is God that has transformed me because you knew me. You knew how I lived before I knew the Lord. I am a witness, you are a witness of what God has done. Because people had seen Paul healing, changed, you know, running around. But now the same Paul stands up defending the gospel and he says, Look what the Lord has done, look at the transformation. No wonder Paul was so powerful. He was so powerful because he had a testimony. So, brethren, we don't have to um we don't have to to pretend who we were, we don't have to put a mask. It doesn't matter how bad our past was, it doesn't matter what mistakes we made, and sometimes we feel embarrassed by our past, the you know, the things of yesterday and the things of last month. We can feel embarrassed, but you know what? In the law, when you have surrendered all to the Lord Jesus Christ, he's able to change us. And most important is we must be willing to leave it behind. We must be willing to have a break from the past. We say break from the past, a complete break from the past. I'm gone, I'm done with the devil, I'm done with that way of life, I'm changed, I'm in Christ. 100% committed. My life is already surrendered. I'm ready, whatever he takes me. As long as he says, Where he leads me, you know, wherever he leads me, I'll follow. I'm totally surrendered to the Lord Jesus Christ, I'm surrendered to his will, I'm surrendered to his ministry. Wherever he takes me, I will go. That's a surrendered life. And when when you reach there and you are completely surrendered to the Lord Jesus Christ, there's nothing he cannot do with you. This is nothing he cannot do with you. God does not consult your past to determine your future. He does not consult your past. Your past does not affect your future if we just totally surrender to him, brethren. Yeah. So we've been it's been amazing. I remember we were talking that this the subject there was taking responsibility for your life. That's where we started. We said for you to do the extraordinary things, you are we must take, you must decide to take responsibility for your life. When you say I'm not blaming anybody, my life, it's all in my hands. I'm willing to take responsibility for my own life and my own destiny. And that's why we said uh one of those very important truths is that your past does not affect your future. So there are things that you need to take responsibility for. And quickly, the other thing that we need to take responsibility for is we need to take responsibility for dealing with trouble in our lives.

Taking Responsibility For Trouble

SPEAKER_00

We need to take responsibility for dealing with trouble in our lives. So that's what I'll finish up with today, and then we spend some 15 minutes in prayer. Responsibility for dealing with trouble. In John chapter 16, verses 33, the Bible says, I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you'll have trouble. You'll have trouble. Not me saying, take heart. I have overcome the world. This is the Lord Jesus Christ telling us. We need to be ready, brethren, for trouble. He does not sugarcoat it. He's saying, in this world you'll have trouble. So if you're having trouble today, hey, Jesus had said, it is going to come. And he said, but be take heart, for I have overcome the world. And the truth is, the more trouble you can handle, the bigger your life will be, and the more successful you will be. The more trouble you can handle, the bigger your life will be. So we don't fear trouble. Don't fear trouble. Don't fear trouble. The more trouble you can handle, the bigger your life will be. So sometimes when trouble comes, don't run away. Confront it, fight it. That's why I started out by um you know um you know telling you about what's happening in the world. You have a choice. Do you fight? Do you run away? Do you pretend it won't happen? Or will you rise up and take courage and fight? So you you you need you the more trouble you can now, the bigger you are alive. The world will not get any better. The world will not get any better. It will maybe possibly get worse. And I'm sure we have seen it even in our own country. It's like every election, we you know, we ex we are so full of optimism that we think, wow, I think it's going to change. And it's like it's getting worse and worse. And I'm not being a prophet of doom in any way, please. Um, you know, forgive me for that. Um, but the world will not get any better, it will possibly get worse. And so, if that is true, we need to learn how to deal with trouble. When it comes, in order for God to take us to the place he has designed for us. So we need to know how to deal with trouble. We need to deal to know to learn how to deal with problems and challenges and get used to it and learn to deal with it. Um, I was just thinking about you know the story of David coming in. I think it was my brother Nesmas who was talking about it here, where he came and he found his family had been abducted, and his wives, his children, and everyone had been taken captive by them by you know by the enemies. And he pursued. He pursued. I went after those people. But the soldiers wanted to stone him, and he gained courage and pursued them until he fought and brought back his, you know, what got them back fighting. So, you know, because sometimes I feel like as a church, as Christians, we've sort of like enjoyed peace, we've enjoyed times of relative calm, and we almost thought that's how life is supposed to be. But here in John chapter 16, verse 3 says, Hey, you may in this world you'll have trouble. There'll be a lot of trouble. People will abduct your children and you'll need to fight. You'll take over your family, you have to go and fight. Uh, you know, the enemy will take over your family once you destroy it, you'll take and fight for your family, fight

Fight For Family And Nation

for your nation. Even now, I believe we need to fight for our nation, to be honest. Um, you know, those of you who have been following the news and you see the president and his people abusing each other like children to fight for our nation. We need to stand up and and fight for our nation and and and and draw a line and and tell them this is not acceptable. And, you know, grow up. You know, we need to we need to fight for our nation. You cannot just be bystanders and watch the country being embarrassed, um, you know, like that. You know, it's completely unacceptable. Um, and so we we we can hide, we can pretend, or we can fight back for a nation. And one way of fighting back is getting voters' cards, registering anybody that can vote. And praying that next time around, people will vote with wisdom and not be carried away by emotions. Getting up all the young people to to vote and make a difference and show them that we can go a different path in this country. Um, and they are not the only people. Um, they are they are not the only not the only leaders left in this nation. You can and you can start afresh and get young people that can lead the country forward. Anyway, I'm not I'm saying we need to fight. We need to fight. We need to fight for our nation, we need to fight for our country, we need to fight for our counties, we need to fight for what is ours, we cannot be silent, and um, because the world is not going to get any better. Um, and so, brethren, this applies to every area of our lives. You know, I don't know what you're going through today. Maybe you have got family challenges, we need to fight. You know, maybe your children are becoming way what it's not easy to bring up children. I was telling someone, I think one of the biggest things, the biggest challenges in life is to bring up children. Um, it's the biggest, I think the biggest test of life is to, first of all, to keep to uh to stay married and then to bring up children. It's the biggest test of life. And I think that's why it's so enjoyable. That's because once you fight and you make it the other side, you can look back and say, wow, the Lord was really with me. Um, and so I've had a lot respect for people that have brought up children and you know finished and uh you know, handed them over into marriage, and now they are citizens. Uh, you know, I salute them. Uh, those of us who are bringing up children know what I'm talking about. It's not easy, but but it's a fight. You have to fight, you have to wake up and pray for them. We have to say no when the enemies try to snatch them. We have to keep praying and believing God for the best, um, you know, the best and standing there and and doing everything we can. It's a fight. You have to fight for your finances, you have to fight, um, you know, for there'll be disappointments in life, wrong expectations, health challenges will come. We have to fight, um, you know, and just the general confusion that we have. Um, when we are not sure which way to go, we need to be able to fight and understand that we need, you know, we need to be responsible and for dealing with the trouble in our lives because the Bible says we'll have trouble in this world, so we better learn how to deal with it and be fighters. Uh, when you look at the Bible, it is full of men and women fighting, fighting, fighting for territory, fighting you know, for what belongs to them, fighting for God's promises. And so we need to become fighters in Jesus' name. Hallelujah. I want to reach there, we'll continue from there, uh, you know, taking responsibility for dealing with the trouble in our lives. Um, in Job chapter 11, verses 16 to 18, it says, You will surely forget your trouble, recalling it only as what has gone by. This is what comes after you fight. In Job 11, 16, 18, it says, You will surely forget your trouble. And this morning I declare, those of us that are going through trouble, that are going through difficult moments, but surely you will surely forget it. If you fight and confront it, don't, don't, don't be, don't hide, confront it, um, fight and fight and keep fighting, recalling it only as what has gone by. He says, Life will be brighter than noonday. I declare this morning, life will be brighter than noonday, and darkness will become like morning. You'll be secure because there is hope. You look about you and take your rest in safety. What are you going through today? What are you going through now? Make a decision that it will not take you out. It will not take you out, but you remain steadfast and tackle it with God's help. That's our prayer. That's what we believe for everyone of us here this morning. Because we see David, David did not complain when he arrived in the anointing ceremony. When he came, he did not ask any questions. Oh, why didn't you call me? Why why why did you omit my name? No, no, no. He came, he did not ask questions, he stood there. They anointed him, and as soon as he got anointed, he went back. He took, we went back to his responsibility, taking care of his father's ship and waited for the opportunity. Brethren, we need to fight. We need to fight, we need to not give up, we need to continue this fight and believe God to give us victory. Uh, for he assures us that he has overcome the world in Jesus' name.
