Extraordinary Lives Start With Mandate
SPEAKER_01We shall fulfill his purpose, we shall um live for him, we shall uh fulfill his will for us here on earth. And that's our desire this morning, even as we go in to begin our service today on this beautiful day, the 24th of May, the year 2026. And I know and trust the Lord is going to bless us this morning, even as we fellowship together uh this morning. I want to just continue on. Uh, you know, this year, our theme has been around the extraordinary, the year of extraordinary things, and we have been looking at several things that we must do, uh, even for us to be able to experience the extraordinary power of God. And even as we prepare for our coming mission, I just want to pick it up from there and begin in another session, another topic that I hope we'll cover in the next uh two or three sessions or so. But I think it's also very, very important for us uh if we are to be uh raised of people that lead extraordinary lives and just responding to the creative, um responding to the creative call that God has laid in our lives, responding to the creative call that the Lord has laid in our
Fruitful, Multiply, Subdue The Chaos
SPEAKER_01lives. In Genesis chapter 1, verses 27 to 28. In Genesis chapter 1, verses 27 to 28, the Bible says, So God created mankind in his own image. In the image of God, he created them, male and female, he created them. Then 28 he says, God bless them and say to them, Be fruitful and increase in number. That was the first charge uh that God gave to men, to man, and that charge was to both male and to female. He said, Be fruitful and increase in number. That is God's mandate. The second one, he said, fill the earth and subdue it. That was the second charge, fill the earth and subdue it. He says, Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, and over every living creature that moves on the ground. Thus, that was the charge that God gave us as mankind. And if you look at it, it is a charge of growth, it is a charge of increase. That is the first charge that he gave us. He said, Be fruitful and increase in number. That's God's plan for your life. God wants you to increase, God wants you to be fruitful because that charge has been given to us as mankind. You also just want us to be fruitful and increase in number saying, fill the earth and subdue it. Subdue. Subduing means bring it under control. Bring every situation under our control. God wants us to have order, he does not want chaos here on earth. When everywhere you go and find chaos, that's not God's plan. Because we have been mandated to bring order. Um, that's a charge that He gave us, and He has given us the mandate to rule over everything. Every living creature that moves on the ground, on the sea, on the bars of the sky, those things we have been mandated to rule over them. It does not matter how powerful they are. Lions are powerful animals, but we have been mandated to rule over them. That's a mandate from God. So you can see clearly that our mandate is to reproduce, that we have been given that mandate. And so when you are not reproducing, when you are not reproducing, then you're not fulfilling your mandate. And we have been given the to create and to rule over the earth. So create creativity or being creative and expansion is a mandate that we have received from God. And if we are to live and do extraordinary things in our lives here or we must respond to that creative ability that God has laid in us. Um, we need to be creative. We need to create things. Um every single day of our lives. We need to be in creation mode. Uh, we need to create um, you know, things. And you see, when you create, what you create as more of just than the material. Whatever we create is not just the material that we use, it is a reflection of who we are. When you build a house using stones and timber and all that, the timber and the stones is just material. But the house that you build reflects you as a person. So everything you do reflects you. The house that you build reflects you. So, and what we create also as more of God than the material. Not only does it reflect us, it also reflects God. So creativity is something that God has given unto us, and it is supposed to be a constant thing in our lives. As a ministry, we are we need to be continuously creating, um, you know, responding to this mandate, but it begins with us as individuals or in our own individual lives. And I pray that this morning uh we shall be encouraged, we shall be challenged, uh, because the enemy wants us not to be creative. The enemy would like us not to be to be passive, um, to be subdued. The enemy would like us to uh would like us not to do and not do much, to be just comfortable and not do anything, because then he knows when we go before God, he'll you know, he'll say, uh, what have you done? And they say, you know, I didn't do much. I said, but I give you the creative ability. It was built in you. What did you do with it? If
God-Given Skills And Creative Work
SPEAKER_01you look at Exodus chapter 31, verses 2 to 7, Exodus chapter 31, verses 2 to 7, the Bible says, See, I have chosen Bezalel, son of Urai, the son of God of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge, and with all kinds of skills to make artistic designs for working gold, silver, and bronze, to cut and set stones, to work in wood and to engage in all kinds of crafts. Moreover, I have appointed Oliah, son of Ahesamak, of the tribe of Dan, to help him. I have also given ability to all the skilled workers to make everything I have commanded you. The tent of meeting, the ark of the covenant law with atonement or cover, and all the other furnishings of the tent. Now, this is just an example of what God does. He says, He was talking about the building of the ark here, but he says, I have actually not only chosen people, but I've filled them with the Spirit of God, I've filled them with wisdom, and I've filled them with understanding, and I've filled them with knowledge. And not only that, I've given them them all kinds of skills to make artistic designs of working, gold, in silver, in bronze, things that we are going to be needed for the building of the temple. God had filled them and filled this uh particular person with that ability. Brethren, it is not just God had not just done this to Bezal, God has done that to each one of us here. He has put something in us, he has put skills, he has given us wisdom, knowledge. And the reason why he has given us those things is that we can be able to use them to be creative in our world. Each one of us, we have received unique gifts and abilities. And when we come together, we're able to build something that is big, that is extraordinary for God. Each one of us, we have something that God has put in us. So we need to be creative. And the next few days, we're going to be talking about that. How can we be creative? How can we respond to this call that God has led
Creating Atmospheres Wherever You Go
SPEAKER_01in our lives of being creative? But I think as this point, as we as we continue, we should pause and ask, what have you created of late? What have you been creating? What have you been up to? Um, you know, as you respond to this God's creation, what have you been creating of late? Um, because we are called to create things. We are called to create even atmospheres. You see, even in the in the place where we have moved now, our headquarters in Tumbi, you know, we believe that God has called us to create a new atmosphere in Chumbi. Because Krem is in Chumbi, that place will never be the same. Because we are we have creative ability, and so we'll recreate that town, we'll recreate that environment, um, because that's our home. We'll control the atmosphere. That town will never be the same because cream is there. We will control the atmosphere, the culture in that place will be influenced by our being there. Because wherever you go, God expects us to create the atmosphere, we create the culture. And so that creative ability is in us wherever we go. Even in our workplaces, when you are when because you are in that office, you create the atmosphere, you create the culture, because inside us is the creative ability of God. So as we think about this whole idea of create of being creative, the first thing that we need to understand is that we are called to create our own future.
Vision, Goals, Commitment, And Sacrifice
SPEAKER_01When we are doing the 30-day challenge and we are working on a program that we want to kick it off next month, um, you know, just to um bring back, we haven't done the 30-day challenge again, you know, this this year. We're looking at doing it next month. Um, and because it always changes us whenever we go through that program. But we are called to create our own future. We are called to create our own future. The future, our future is in our hands. Our future is absolutely in our hands. We are called to create it. God does not, you know, he works with us, but the creative ability of our future is in our hands. What do we need to create our future? Something that we have covered very heavily during our 30-day challenge, and hopefully we'll cover it again. Um, as we remind ourselves in the coming month, um, number one, you need a vision. You to create our your future, you have to have a vision of that future. You have to have it, you have to have clarity on what you really want. Um, that future that you need um is what you you need you need to have clarity of it. Vision. Vision is important. I was reading the story of um the the the the the city of Dubai, and I was reading the story of how that city was created. So you know you are you have been to Dubai, one of the you know amazing places out of a desert, they've been able to build something that's massive, that attracts people from all over the world. Everybody who wants to go to Dubai, and you know what? It was that it was created out of a piece of paper. Uh, when the leader of Dubai sat down and started crafting it on a piece of paper, and he said, we can do this, we can create this, we can make this a transport hub, and we can start building, we can build this, everything the best, we can build the tallest building in the world here. It was a vision that was drawn on paper. And once the vision was clear, they began to execute. So for you to create your future is important for you to have a vision for it. And the 30-day challenge helps us on that. It helps us revisit our vision, have clarity on what is it that you are doing, what is important, where are you going, and why are you doing what you are doing. So you need a vision. That's the first thing that you need to have. The second thing that you need to create your future is a strategy with goals. A strategy with goals. You can never build anything if you have got no strategy. You can have a vision. And there are a lot of people with a lot of vision about say, I'll do this, I'll do that, but they never do it. Why? Because they do not have a strategy with goals. It's only when a vision is backed by a strategy and clear goals that you begin to execute. You'll start seeing things um coming, coming, coming through. So you need a vision and you need a strategy with clear goals, saying this year, by this, I'm going to be able to do this. A strategy with clear goals. When a vision is backed with strategy with clear goals, you're beginning to move towards creating your future. And sometimes some of these things slip onto us, but it's important for us to remind ourselves. And then the third thing that you need for you to create your own future is a strong commitment. You can have a vision, and you can also have a strategy with goals. But if you are not committed to it, it will evade you. Because along the way, you'll be tested. Along the way, you'll feel like giving up. Along the way, there'll be frustrations. Along the way, there'll be ups and downs. And the enemy would test whether you're actually committed to the cause. And it is a strong commitment to executing the strategy and the goals that you have set for yourselves that puts you on the path to achieving the vision that you have set for yourselves. And a lot of people have got vision, a lot of people have a very good strategy with very clear goals. But when it comes to execution, they lack something called commitment. And that is what where nations fail. If you look at the nations that have been able to do it and do it well and execute, they have been not only had a vision, but they had a strategy and they were committed to it. They did not push back, they did not pull back, they were completely committed to executing that. And even us, as we walk and journey with the Lord, there'll be there'll be com there'll be tests, we'll be tested. Sometimes when, for example, we we meet here every morning. There's sometimes you wake up and you feel like, oh my God, can I really do it? And and and you snooze the you know, the phone, you snooze, and uh you you're not you you you you don't you don't wake up. Commitment is what sees us through. Being committed, um, when us when our vision is backed with strategy and goals, and there's commitment, you're on your way creating a very, very bright future. And number four, something else that's that's number critical is a sacrificial spirit. A sacrificial spirit. You can never be able to create your future if you're not willing to sacrifice. You you know, if you're not willing to sacrifice, you won't make it. Building anything of importance requires sacrifice. You have to build a great marriage, it's going to take sacrifice. You've got to build a strong family, it's going to take sacrifice. You've got to build a great career, it will take sacrifice. You have to build a great ministry, it's going to take sacrifice. Even Hassia is a ministry. You know, here we can never build cream into a big thing if we are not willing to sacrifice. We have come this far because of the willingness of people to sacrifice their time, sacrifice their resources to do stuff, to put up buildings, put up, you know, buy land, put up buildings, buy vehicles, be available to go for missions. You know, it takes sacrifice for anything of value to ever be built. And when you have got those four things, uh, you're on your way to creating a bright future. In my chapter 5, verses 14 to 15, uh, the Bible says, Morocco from the 20th year of King Ataxas, when I was appointed to be their governor in the land of Judah until his 32nd year, 12 years. Neither I nor my brothers ate the food allotted to the governor. But the earlier governors, those preceding me, placed a heavy burden on the people and took 40 shekels of silver from them in addition to food and wood and wine. The assistants also loaded it over the people. But out of reverence for God, I did not act like that. Now, maybe you need to take this scripture and go and read to our government. But you know, Nehemiah here was a leader, and he had rights as a governor. He had rights, and he says, for 12 years, 12 years. He said, Neither I nor my brothers ate the food allotted to the governor. The Nehemiah they gave up, they sacrificed. And if you read that scripture, you see there was a lot of over taxation. They were, you know, the previous people, they were taxing people, the citizens, they were mortgaging their land, their children. And Nehemiah calls them, he says, No, we cannot continue like this. And he sacrificed. He said, The earlier governors, those that had come before him, they placed a heavy burden on the people and taxed them silver and additional whatever. He said, Not me. Nehemiah came. When was his turn? He said, I will not do that, I will sacrifice that. And he was able to rally the people to overcome what was a severe famine and rebuild the world in a record time. Nations are built by sacrifice. I think that's the challenge that sometimes we see in our nation. Where, you know, you see, you know, the people, you know, taxes going up, things being done. But when you look around at how people are living, you look at how how the leaders are living. And there's completely no no no connection. Here you are over taxing people, but the way you are living, you are living large, you are spending money, you are, you know, it it just doesn't add up. Nehemiah, and go read chapter Nehemiah, chapter five, read that old chapter. You see how leaders respond and rally people when things are tough. They sacrifice, he said, either this is my right as a leader, but I'll not do it. I'll sacrifice. And when they sacrifice, you people see unity, you set an example. And when they set an example, people are always able to rally around and achieve extraordinary things. So I'm talking about a sacrificial spirit. As a nation, we must be willing to sacrifice even what is rightfully ours so that the country can be able to go forward, it can be able to go up, can be able to move, uh, to move forward. And I think that's something that's really lacking. Um, the spirit of sacrifice is real among the our leadership, um, sacrificing and understanding um that um you know, feeling the pain, you know, Nehemiah felt the pain of his people. And and and he was he was able to respond. And yeah, he testifies, he says, Neither I nor my brothers ate the food allotted to the governor. He said, I will not eat it. I will I I it's it's my right as a governor, I'll not do what the others have done, I'll be a different person. And I pray that the Lord will help us on that. So we talk about responding to the Creative nature that God has laid in our lives, and we are saying we are called to create our own future. For you to create your own future with a vision, a strategy with goals, a strong commitment, and coupled with a spirit of sacrifice. When those four are alive in your life, you are apt to do something that's really, really extraordinary. Vision, a strategy with goals, a strong commitment to it. That you know and make you give up, because there'll be enough people along the way to make you give up. I've seen people start up with a lot of excitement, but along the way, oh, they get discouraged. You know, somebody said something, they got discouraged, someone tripped them, they disco, you know, and that commitment to go through when even things are all sometimes lax. I pray the Lord will help us. And then, of course, the sacrificial spirit.
Planning Plus Prayer For Real Progress
SPEAKER_01Number two, if we are going to be able to be creative and uh and and respond to this creative uh mission, mandate that God has given to us, we need to get better at planning, we need to get better at planning. Um, you know, if you read um in John chapter 16, verses that 3, the Bible says, John 16, 33, it says, I have told you these things so that you may have peace in me. In the world, you will have much trouble, but take hope, but take hope, I have power over the world. You see, Jesus is telling us here, is he's he's telling us, he's giving us a picture uh of things that we need to have to be able to overcome the challenges that we that we that we that that we meet along the way. And really, life seems to get better when you put God first. Life seems to get better anytime you put God first. And so what we are saying is that for you to be able to respond and build and create something powerful, um, one we say you need to get better at planning. And there's no way you can get better at planning if you don't put God first. That's why the Bible says, plant yourself in God's house and you'll flourish. It's a key enabler. You can never be planted, you can never be in the middle of God's will and you don't flourish. Anytime the enemy wants you to fail, he'll try to get you out of God's house. That's the he'll always get you. That's why the discouragement of many people are Christians, discouraged, they don't go to church anymore, they're not involved in God, they're not planted in the church. Why? Because they got discouraged, they got, you know, things happened, and now they feel like you know they've been betrayed, and so they they are no longer serving God. When the enemy wants to get you out of God's plan, the first thing he'll try to do is to get you out of God's house. That is the first thing. He'll try to get you out of God's house, get you out of serving, out of you know, being involved in God's kingdom, he'll isolate you and he'll put you on the side because he knows once you are now isolated, from there you become a captive, you become a target. From there, you are an easy prayer. The first thing the enemy will try to get you is get you out of God's house. That's why there's so much in fighting in any group. In any group, you find you put 10 people, brothers, they are serving together. You know, you'll hear, oh, this one has done this one, this one has done that, this one's done that. You wonder what's happening here? Because the enemy knows. If they can discourage you and you stop serving, you stop being where you're being planted in God's house, then it's God's. So we have to be very sensitive to the plans of the enemy. Uh, we need to be planted in God's house. Um, because when we are planted there, then we can begin to plan. And planning is very important. We need to get better at planning. In uh in Habakkuk chapter 2, verses 2, the Bible says that the Lord answered me and said, Write down the special dream on stone, so that one may read it in in a hurry. It does not matter how fast you go, if you are going in the wrong direction. It does not matter how fast you go, if you are going in the wrong direction. And we need to know. Um, if you if you if you know the purpose that God has called you, then you need to begin to have a plan. You know, planning is so important in our lives. And many times I've seen as Christians, this is something that we ignore. We don't plan. We don't plan. We sort of like, oh, I've left it in God's will, and and so we don't plan. And that's wrong because planning does not replace prayer. Planning doesn't replace prayer, but prayer doesn't replace planning. You need both of them. It's like the Bible tells us that faith without works is dead. So if you have faith and there's no works, it's dead. But also if you have good works and there's no faith, it's also of no value. So you need both faith with works. The combination of the two is actually very, very powerful. So planning is important in your life, and just a few things to talk about planning. Planning is scriptural, planning is scriptural. That's why in Jeremiah he says, I know the plans, for I know the plans I have for you. So it's in the Bible. Our God is a God of plans, and he says he has got good plans for us. So planning is actually found everywhere throughout the Bible. Planning is so important, but many times we ignore it. And if we are going to do something creative for God, we need to have plans. We need to have a plan, we need to execute on that plan. And every month, every year, every week, you need to be slowly moving towards the plan, the things that you're working on. Remember, we talked about vision and ensuring that your vision, your direction, your commitment. And all of us, when you now start putting planning, you're on your way to doing something very extraordinary. Planning is so important. Planning will put you in a better position. Planning will put you in a better position. When we plan, we plan to succeed. When you don't plan, you plan to fail. And a good plan today is better than a better plan tomorrow. Some people will say, Oh, yeah, do it tomorrow. No, no. Start with what you have. A good plan today is better than a better plan that you have tomorrow. When, you know, so planning is critical. Planning is essential. Planning makes you more efficient. You know, it makes you efficient, makes you get little victories. The reason why we are able to execute, and this next coming weekend, we're going to be out there for a mission. And why are we in why are we being able to do that tomorrow? Because we had a plan. We sat down last year. We said, on this day, this time, we're going to be in this place. We put it down. We prayed over it. And now we execute it. If we didn't have a plan and we're not put it down in writing and say, brethren, let's just keep praying, you know, along the way. We'll see where we go for mission. We'll we'll do very few missions. Because there will always be things that will come that will prevent us. But because we put it in writing, we committed, we prayed about it. We said on this day we will be here. Then slowly by slowly, you're seeing the missions we put in place begin to fall into place. We said we'll do it. It's written. We said we're going to build um, you know, our hall that we are building there, the kitchen facility. We said we'll do it. It's in our plan. And it will be done. It will be done because we put in writing. We've already started, we've reached somewhere, and we are going. Because we have a plan for it. And it's the same thing in our lives. Planning is so powerful. You have to have a plan. Even for those who are you, you can, even for our young people, you must make you must make a plan. Say, I'm going to get married on this, on this day. This by this year, I need to be married. By this year, I need to have breached here. I need to, you need to have a plan. You can say, oh yeah, let me just journey along. You know, when are you getting married? I'm still, you know, praying. And oh, you need to have a plan. By the time I hit the age, 22 or 24, 25, whatever it is, that's of if you're thinking about getting married. You need to have a plan. You cannot just be just walking along and hoping that you know one day you'll wake up and you'll know you need to have a plan. And then pray over it. Now, there may be adjustments here and there, some things may not happen, but you need to have a plan. Planning is absolutely essential. Planning makes you more efficient, it helps you get victories. Little victories always lead to big success. You know, you go to the first mission, then you do the second mission, then you do the third mission. Now we are now almost on our second last school mission. After this one, we'll only have one more school mission, and then we are finished with the school missions, and we go to the church missions. And before you realize the year is over, we are at the conference if Jesus doesn't come. Why? Because we have a plan. It's exactly the same thing. You cannot journey through life without a plan. You need to have your own plan. And part of what we're doing, the 30-day challenge, it enables us to really think through our plan, really write our, you know, our things, we rethink them, we revise them, and they enable us to live very powerful, powerful lives. We are much better when we have a plan. Remember, it was not raining when Noah built the ark. When Noah was building the ark, there was no rain. It was busy people are rebuking. Why are you doing this? Noah, you're crazy, you're out of your mind. One day the rain came and he was able to rescue his family. So the most successful people usually have made the most mistakes. And how do they make mistakes? Because they are moving. They are trying something. You try, you fail, you try again, you fail, you try again, you fail. On the third time you make it. That's how people are able to get success. So you must not let the fear of failure, because you fail many times, the fear of discouragement keep you from moving forward. So we need plan. A plan, plan, planning. Planning brings progress. Planning brings progress. In in Proverbs 16, 3, you say, trust your work to the Lord and your plans will work out well. Proverbs 16, 3 says, trust your work to the Lord as a new living fashion. Trust your work to the Lord and your plans will work out well. Your plans will work out well. So do you have a plan? Because if you don't have a plan, there's nothing that's going to work out well for you. Say, trust your work to the Lord, and it's your plans will work out well. Say amen. So planning is very, very, very important, brethren. And if we're going to be creative, talk about this whole subject about creative. We've got to go a bit deeper on our how do we become creative? How do we arise and respond to this big call that God has called us? Feel the earth, subdue, grow, expand. So are you doing that? Are we doing that as a ministry? God has called us to expand, to subdue, you know, to move and do great and extraordinary things. And for us to be able to do that, it's important for us to have a plan. Learning is absolutely critical. Say amen. Amen to that.
Fight Ignorance With Truth And Study
SPEAKER_01The other thing that we need that um, you know, I'm just laying the foundation here for this creativity is fight of ignorance. Fight of ignorance. Fight of ignorance. Ignorance is dangerous. Fight of ignorance. When you don't know, you don't know is dangerous. When you don't know, you don't know. You know, and you you don't know, and you you don't know, you don't know. You become a dangerous person. In 1 Timothy chapter 1, verses 12 to 13, we see this coming out here very well. Paul writes in his letter to Timothy. In 1 Timothy 1, 12-13, he says, I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service. Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. For the man of God, he's now writing to Timothy, his son, after he has had an encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ, been transformed. And he's telling Timothy, my son, you know, I was a blasphemer, I was a persecutor, I was a violent man. But God just showed me mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. And just imagine the zeal that Paul had handing Christians, killing them. Um, he handed them everywhere. God let us from the, you know, the leadership of the you know, the synagogues handed Christians everywhere and killed them. And now here he rise to Timothy says, God showed me mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. And when I say that, I say, you know, how many times have I acted in ignorance? And you can be so zealous, you can be so, so whacked up, you know, you can be so whacked up, but you're doing the wrong thing. You don't know that you don't know. You are zealous over it. So ignorance is something very bad. And Paul here says, you know, mungwal and because I acted out of ignorance and unbelief. You know, we need to fight ignorance in our lives. You can be ignorant, and when you're ignorant, you can actually cause a lot of damage. Paul killed many people. He damaged the Christian, he damaged the church because he was acting out of ignorance and unbelief. He didn't know that he didn't know until the Lord appeared to him. And in Ephesians chapter 5, verses 15, he says, be very careful then how you live. Say, not as unwise, but as wise. He said, Be careful how you live. We need to live with wisdom. That means we need to live, we need to live with ignorance in our lives so that we can be able to live. Um, to live with wisdom. So ignorance is dangerous. And sometimes, as Christians, we can be very ignorant. We can be very ignorant in the way we talk. Sometimes you listen to the way we talk. Hey, why can you say that? How can you be so insensitive? Because we are ignorant. And so we need to fight ignorance. Ignorance is bad, it causes a lot of actually the challenges that we have today of racism, tribalism, nepotism, all these things that are bedeviling our nation, it's because of ignorance. Where you feel, oh, okay, only people from my tribe can do this, or you know, if you have a racial issue, or you know, my own brothers, and you know, you you nepotism, you go flood. You're acting out of ignorance. You you don't understand nation building, you don't understand that the country is bigger. We are many, there are 47 tribes out of out of there, and and we all come together to form one nation. So you cannot isolate a particular group of people, but because we are ignorant, we act out of ignorance. That's ignorance is very dangerous, and whether it's nepotism, tribalism, you know, all these things is because of people who are ignorant of the power of unity. We feel like, oh, I have to do this because um, you know, this kind of we we have a wrong understanding. That's what Paul is saying. You know, I acted out of ignorance. Now he's looking back, he said, how could I do that? How now did I go around killing people with such zeal? He said it was out of ignorance. But thank God that He forgave me because I acted upon ignorance out of unbelief. And brethren, we have to do that. And every day you have to shake yourself out and say, hey, I don't have to be ignorant here. Because there's nothing bad than you being passionate about your ignorance. Because, as you have seen in our country, laws don't change anything. We have some of the best laws, some of the best laws in our nation, a new constitution, 2010 constitution, a powerful document. But laws don't change anything. What changes is revelation. Until you get a revelation of what you can become, a law will not help you. Laws can't change the heart of someone. And we have lawyers here. Thank God we have lawyers here. But laws can't change the heart of someone, nor can education, it takes revelation. Revelation of what you can be. That's what brings change to mankind. If laws could change people, Kenya would be very far. Nice constitution, very well clear laws. But laws don't change people, is revelation. When we get a revelation, um, it's what brings change. And Paul says I was ignorant. You know, ignorance will keep you in bondage. The difference between the rich and the poor is that poor people don't know as much. And that's a far. There's something, there is something other people know. Ignorance will keep us in a place, ignorance keeps us in small thinking. Ignorance will keep us small. And if you read John chapter 18, verses 31 to 32, you'll see what was happening here. Um, to the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, If you hold on to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. He said, This is it, the truth will set us free. The word of God keeps us informed so that we can stay away from ignorance. Because the key to being to be free from any kind of bondage is truth. When you know the truth, it sets you free. So ignorance will always keep us in bondage, and we must fight it, we must get information, we must get knowledge. So you ended up like Paul saying, How was I doing that? I was so ignorant. Ignorance keeps us from success. You know, in Hosea chapter 4, verse 6 says, My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priest, because you have ignored the law of your God. I will ignore your children. You know, people without success lack knowledge, and we lack wisdom. And that's why we must keep praying every day as a ministry for God to give us wisdom, even as leaders, to get us wisdom, to do the right thing. Um, to understand, and you need wisdom, you need knowledge, you need to know where the world is going. You need to position yourself, you need to be able to do the right thing because you know ignorance is very, very, very dangerous to keep us uh from success. Ignorance causes lack of growth. Remember, you cannot be creative if you lack if you are ignorant. You're talking about creativity here. Respond to the creative nature of God. We cannot do that when we are ignorant. We need information. That's why we get training. We had a powerful training from ILU last week. Um, you know, you know, last week, and you're sitting there and you're like, wow. You know, training opens our eyes and the possibilities. Um, then we can go out there and actually be able to be creative. Um, ignorance will cause poor relationships. You know, we there's a lot of infighting, even among Christians. And you just say, Why are you fighting? Why are you so poor in your relationships? And you realize it's just ignorance. People don't know how to talk, people don't know how to say things. So you say things that cause rifts, you know, you say the wrong, you your choice of wise is not good, so it hurts people, you damage relationships, and when you damage a relationship, it takes time to rebuild those relationships. Because relations are critical. But if your relationships cannot last more than three, four months, you find people who are then the best of bodies. But after three to four months, they are gone. They are not talking. What happened? Or this one did something to this one, or this one did something to this one. And you you cannot keep relationships because of ignorance. You need to managing relationships. Um there are many things I can say. It is ignorance will keep us away from leadership roles because our behaviors, um, you know, ignorance shows out our behavior. It will, if you are ignorant, then promotion may come your way, but it may not come to you because you lack you are your you show ignorance. So even when blessings would come your way, your ignorance stops it. Because hey, we want to promote her, but we're not sure of how she talks. This one we we can she has the papers, she has the papers, but the way she handles people, the way Talks, she's leading people, uh, how she leads teams, she's losing, you know, people don't you're unpredictable. Those things will can hinder God's blessings, um, that are actually due due to you. Um, ignorance is very, very, very dangerous. So, as I wrap up, so we can spend some time in prayer here. Um, just building the foundation, and then we're going to pick it up from there. How can we be creative? How can we be really, really creative in this world and create things and do extraordinary things? We all deal with ignorance. So, how do you deal with it? Admit it. Um admit it. Don't pretend or cover up your ignorance. If there's something you don't know, admit, I don't know this. Help me, give me information, ask. You know, I've seen people do you know dumb things, you know. If only they had asked, if only you see people do something, they say, Oh my god, why did he do that? I wish he had you know he had just asked. I would have, you know, someone would have told him, No, no, no, that's that's that's bad. You would that's gonna fail. And sometimes you have seen even with our own children, those of us who are praising our children. Sometimes you tell them something they think you are old-fashioned, but you know, this one I know where it's gonna end. Okay, um, because you have information. So ignorance is very bad. And the best way to do this is always admit it. Admit it, ask, I don't know. This one helped me. You know, your better information, you are in your specialists in this field, help us, guide us, you know, give you the ask questions, be be humble, and what you don't know, admit you don't know, and let those who know fill that gap for you. Then number two is hunger for knowledge from God. In Proverbs 2, 3 to 7, he says, I indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you'll understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom, from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He all success in store for the upright is a shield to those whose work is blameless. Ask, hunger for knowledge, hunger for knowledge, and knowledge can come from anyone, it can come even from the humblest, even from the smallest. Hunger for knowledge. If you call upon God, He'll give you hunger, He'll give you knowledge, go for it, study, get onto a room, lock yourself, study that subject, ask questions. Go to people who have succeeded in that area, ask them, ask questions. That's why we always encourage the young people um who are planning to get married and build families. You know, find time, ask those who are gone before you, ask them questions, ask them if you are getting married today, afraid what would you do? What would you avoid? What would you look for? The knowledge is there in the room. But if you don't ask, you can go ahead and make mistakes when you would have been guided along. There's a lot of wisdom in this room, even today. Yeah, there's a lot of wisdom here, and people can help you, people have gone ahead of you. Um, so hunger for knowledge, ask someone. There are always people who know more than you in life. Nobody has a monopoly of knowledge. Ask, ask someone, you know. Study in 2 Timothy 2:15. That's what we we encourage people here, and a lot of our brothers and sisters are going back to school, they are studying, they are sharpening themselves. Um, it says, Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved. A worker who does no need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. So study, you know, do your best to present yourself to God as one approved. That's why when you're going for the mission, we publish the program because we want you to study your study and be prepared. You don't go stand before students and then you start telling them stories. No, study the subject, study the theme, follow. And when you stand before, they can say this person was actually prepared. Ignorance is very bad, and we have to deal with it in Jesus' name. Allow us
Admit What You Lack And Grow
SPEAKER_01to reach there. I just wanted to put that uh that basic, and then from next week we are going to rise to pick it up from there, and now start looking at how do we become creative, how do we build strong careers, how do we build strong businesses, how do we build strong families, what do we need to do uh to actually create and respond to that Monday? Um, but this morning I need to put that foundation so that we can be ready. Need to kill ignorance, uh, we need to have a vision, uh, we need to be very, very clear about where we are going. I believe that God is going to help us so that we can be sharp, we can be strong Christians that are actually making a difference in the places where God has placed us uh to this morning.
SPEAKER_00So allow us to read mommy mommy, lift him up, please lift him people lifting everybody lifting mommy mommy, so lift him up in the butt, you know, but it's so bad, you know, check on, sequence, et cetera, et cetera, it's not a thousand, jump, jump, jump, jump, jump, so I for the rock, I've got a lot, I've got a lot, give up, give up, give up, give up
