Trust God When Life Makes No Sense
SPEAKER_01Connected in a loving relationship with him and all living things. And I'm not late. There's a reason behind everything that has happened in my life up to this moment. I may not fully understand it now, but I choose to trust God. Brethren, things happen. We don't know why they happen the way they happen, you know, things happen. But you know what? We can choose to trust the God who created us. He says he knew us before we were even formed in our mother's womb. He knew us. He knew us. He knows the beginning from the end. And that God is one we choose to put our total trust in him this morning. And surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. Pray that make that your prayer this morning. Let's do this daily prayer. God, I thank you for my blessed life, this magnificent universe, and this beautiful new day you've given us. We ask that you please bless all living things today with your love, with your grace, and with your abundance. And may you flow to me and through me, infinite love, joy, peace, purpose, and prosperity during this new day that you've given unto us. I say amen, amen. May that come to pass in your life, that you become a channel for God's peace, God's love, God's joy today
Daily Prayer And Strength Mantras
SPEAKER_01as we step out, do whatever we must do in Jesus' mighty name. Let's do our mantras uh that is front of us. It's declare with Paul here. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Brethren, we need strength to endure. We can get wary, we can get disappointed, we can get discouraged and feel like can I make it? And this morning, maybe you are at your lowest point. You're wondering, oh my God, will I make it? How do I go? You're in dreading going to the office, dreading those meetings, dreading that presentation. Uh, we're here to declare with Paul, together with you, you can do it. You can do it not because of your own strength, but through Jesus Christ who strengthens us. And I can declare, you know, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. And I'm living on purpose, and I am on schedule. Same amen. Amen. To that, key truths, we remind ourselves power in the physical world is measured by how much you can lift up. But in the spiritual world, power is measured by how much you can let go. We continue to learn here every day, learning new things. There are some things that have not been that are not being good to us. There are some things that have not um, I would say they're not being our friends. And the more we can let go, the more we can be able to receive uh from God. Let's change our belief system. Let's you know, be careful that we align our beliefs with God's word. We believe what God says about us, not what people say about us, not what the environment has taught us, not what our social you know, our friends have made us to believe. We need to align our thinking with God, what God says about us. And that's why this study day challenge is designed to help us reach that point where we begin to experience the best possible version of ourselves when we begin to start living by God's word. What God says about you and what God says about me should carry the day, not what people are framed as. And that's why yesterday we spent time answering that question: who am I and who am I not? Generosity As A Spiritual Mindset
SPEAKER_01day in Jesus' name. Hallelujah. Uh, we remind ourselves of abundance mentality. But Deuteronomy 15:10 challenges us here to give generous, give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart. And then, because of this, the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything that you put your hand to. This is the key to God's blessing. This is the key to God's hand being upon everything that you do. He says, if you are conscious of the poor and you are generous, it's a decision. It's a choice that you have to make, to live from a position of generosity, to be sensitive about the needs of those around us. If you are sensitive about the needs of those around us, you become a channel that God can be able to use to reach them. And I believe we all want to be channels that God can be able to use. But it begins with a mentality, a balanced mentality. Why? Because many times we feel like we have to be have a lot, we have to have excess to give. Oh, and with the day I have excess, then I'll start giving. The day I have met my needs, the day I am able to balance my books and have enough money to run my day and have excess. That's what I start to give. That's the lie of the enemy. Giving, generosity is a mentality, it's a mindset. And God doesn't expect you to give what you don't have, He expects you to give what you have, and you become a channel through which God can continue to use to touch the world, to touch those around us. We are God's hands and feet here on earth. God is not going to come here, He's going to send angels into the earth. We are here, we are His abassoners, we are His love abandoners. And so He's looking for a vessel that He can be able to use to heal the world, to touch people, to bless people. You can be that channel, you can be that vessel. But it begins with the mindset, being sensitive about the poor. I think we have challenged ourselves here. Um, the Muslims, you know, you go around in the mosques. I want to repeat it again here. You go to the mosques on Friday. Today's on Friday. If you just go and watch, go to Jivanji Gardens around the mosque there in central Nairobi, or any mosque where the Muslims will be gathered, you find a lot of poor people coming to stand outside there. Why? They have an expectation. As this believe, you're going to bless them, you're going to be sensitive to them. You don't see that in church. And we are saying that has to change. The church has to be known for generosity. They have to be known for touching the world, not just our members. That's the challenge that we always have, you know, here. You know, we are not challenged to be good to our members. You know, we have the problem with us with we have become balkanized. We only want to be good to, you know, our church members and that type of thing. And we are completely, you know, sometimes ignore the people around us. But here he's saying, give generous to them without a grudging heart. And then because of this, the Lord God will bless you. All your work and everything you put you on. And I pray that we shall be different, that we shall reach a point where we can see really people, the church of Jesus Christ being a church full of generous people. And as conscious of the needs of the society, then we become relevant. The Bible says we will then be a channel. God's hand will be upon everything we do, God's blessing be upon our work
Praying For Miracles And Transformation
SPEAKER_01and everything that we do in Jesus' name. Hallelujah. And go on and on this one. Matthew 6.33 is a key verse for this challenge. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness. And all these things will be given to you as well. Brethren, we continue to believe God. That's why today we want to pray for each other that everything that we are believing God for will come to pass. Every miracle in every aspect of our lives, we want to lift each other before God. In 1 Corinthians 2 9, it says, No eye has seen, no ears had. No human mind has conceived the things God has prepared for those who love him. And today, as we lift each other before the Lord, that's going to be the prayer we could be making for each one of us. We say, God, remember that sister, you have promised us that no eye has seen, no eye, no ears had, and no human mind has conceived the child, the plans that you have for us, sister, so and so. Therefore, we pray that God you move, you release that blessing, you intervene in our life. That's going to be the scene of our prayer today, in Jesus' name. Hallelujah. And then first, um, 1 Samuel 10, 16, the Bible says the Spirit of the Lord will come powerfully upon you, you'll prophesy with them, and you'll be changed into a different person. Uh, this has been a key prayer for us that during this time, the challenge, the Spirit of God will come powerfully upon us, He will begin to guide us, but most important, it'll change us. So we are going to pray for transformation. We're going to pray that each one of us here will be filled and double filled by the Holy Spirit. We'll experience God in a new way, refreshing that can only come from Christ Himself, that we'll be a more deeper connection with Him, and He'll change us as the Spirit comes on us powerfully in Jesus' name. Amen. Take out of water, spend some time outside in the nature, connect with God, um, pause, disconnect yourself from all this noise of the world and allow God to speak to you uh this uh this very day. Just a few minutes, 10 minutes out of your busy day. You can grow that as you go along.
Nature Break And Identity Recap
SPEAKER_01And uh let's take care of our bodies, they are licensed to be on earth in Jesus' name. So, with that, we dive in into today's lesson, and we start by just reminding ourselves what we have covered in the last 18 days. And this is what we have covered. 18 days. Uh, we've covered a lot. Um, they're all recorded, so you can go in and listen and listen over and over again. The more you listen, the more they become real. Um and these are all very, very, I think, foundational things that we have covered. I pray they'll be a it'll be they'll form a huge foundation for us. Yesterday, we spent time looking at who am I and who am I not is very powerful because we can be so carried by our by things that are temporal, where we begin to identify with our with our jobs, with our titles, we become to identify ourselves with things. And then tomorrow, when those things are taken away from us, we lose our identity. We don't know who we are because our entire identity was defined by things that could be taken away. And we say, No, we need to begin to be defined who we are is not defined by the position, the titles, the things that are temporal. But we need to be defined by things that can never be taken away from us. And we looked at some of them, you know, generosity, kindness, love. These are things that no one can ever take away from us. And we pray that it shall change us, we shall let go of you know, all these things that are positional, that are temporal, and we shall go with things that are spiritual, that can never be taken away from us. Meditation Anchored In Scripture
SPEAKER_01spend a very, very, I think I would say very important uh you know, aspect of this 30-day challenge as we are beginning to bring it all together. And we base our um the subject today is our perfect day meditation. I think if there's one thing that has come out very clearly in this day challenge is the power of meditation. The power of meditation. If you look at all the Bible characters that we are close to God, that God used powerfully, you see that meditation, meditating on God's word, meditating on God's promises, you know, was a key component of their lives. And we want to bring meditation back to the center of our spiritual work with God. We must spend time. In fact, some people put a seat somewhere in the corner where you can sit at the beginning of the day and just meditate and think through things and meditate on God's word because it's very powerful. And we want to bring meditation back to the center of our lives, from meditation being the bedrock of our spiritual well-being, where we are deliberate about spending time thinking over, allowing um, you know, God to speak to us, allowing God's word to get internalized in us, to become us, to get in, to get embedded in us. Because it's what gets embedded in our hearts that actually carries the day. And we said we can hear so many messages, but when you don't sit down and meditate on what was God telling me about that, what do I need to do? How do I respond to this? How do I need to change? You meditate over something over time and time that it becomes part of you. That's why it is so so powerful. In Genesis 15, 5 to 7, we made reference to this uh scripture. The Bible says, He took him outside, and this is Abraham. He took him outside and said, Look up at the sky and count the stars. If indeed you can count them, then he said to him, So shall your offspring be. I want you to picture that God, uh Abraham is in a very, very difficult place. He has God had promised him a child, he had promised to bless him at this point in his life. All those things had not manifested. And he was beginning to reach a point where he was giving up and wondering, hey, who is going to inherit me? And what's going to happen to all these things that God has given, the blessings that God has given me. He will say, Hey, even my servant Elias is going to inherit me. And God seeing where he was coming from, he takes him outside and he tells him, I want you to look, I want you to uh look into the sky, and he says, I want you to picture. Um, you know, and this was not something that was just a brief moment here. No, no, no. It's this was a whole experience because after that we see Abraham actually going into a session of worship and doing very many things. He takes him outside, he tells him, I want you to look into the sky and count the stars. He tells him, Look at the sky and count the stars, start counting, start counting one, two, three, four, five. And he says, If indeed you can count them. Then he said to him, So shall your offspring be. And he realized he could not count them and told him, you know, that's how I'm going to bless you. And then he says, Abraham believed the Lord and he credited to him as righteousness. And he also said to him, I am the Lord who brought you out of all of the challenge and to give you this land and take possession of it. Um, and this is really God um challenging Abraham to think through the promises that he had given unto him. And so, meditation is a huge key of the promises of God coming to pass. When you begin to meditate upon God's work, the things that he has promised you begin to manifest. And we pray this 30-day challenge. This is going to be very, very central because when you can meditate over it, when it becomes part of you, you meditate on God's word, you meditate on God's promises. Until they become real, you can touch, you can feel. You have so much confidence in God's ability that no one can be able to take you out of it. That's the power of meditation. In Philippians 4:8, it says, Finally, brothers and sisters, is Paul encouraging the Philippians. He says, Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent, or it says, think about such things. Another scripture says, meditate upon such things. He said, think about them, meditate upon them. That be deliberate, think about, take be careful about what you are, what you are meditating on, what you are thinking on. Because the you see, if you are not deliberate about meditating on God's word and promises, the world will force you to meditate on many things. The world can force you, the media will force you to meditate on politics. Right now, the elections are heating up in Kenya, the alignments are beginning to take place, and we can get carried into that. And the whole day we are actually meditating upon politics, you are meditating about the things that are happening, you find yourself spending so much time in them. And that's how the enemy works. You like you to be so preoccupied with the things that are happening. You can be meditating upon your challenges. We are, yes, you're overwhelmed, yes, we are acknowledged, there are many challenges, yes, but you can become so obsessed with the challenges that you're going through that they become, they engulf you. And today we are saying, no, no, no, we need to be deliberate and really think about our perfect day meditation. And we'll talk about that in a short while. In Genesis 24, uh 62 to 66 says, now Isaac had come to be a La Hairoi, for he was living in the naked. He went out of the field one evening to meditate. He went out to the field one evening to meditate. Remember, he's the servant has been sent to go look for a wife for him, and we don't know how long it took, but it says the Bible says, one evening he went out into the field and began to meditate. And as he looked up, say, as he looked up, he saw the camels approaching. And Rebecca also looked up and saw Isaac. She got down from her came and asked the servant, Who is that man in the field coming to meet us? He is my master. The servant answered. So she took her field and covered herself. And then the servant told Isaac all he had done. Um, he knew that this servant had gone hunting. He had been sent by his father. We see him one of those evenings, he goes in to meditate. And the Bible says, as he meditated, he looked up. And we're praying this morning that as we begin to get into meditation, um, you look up and you receive your miracle. You know, that which you had believed, that which you are believing God for, as you meditate on God's word and his meditation becomes part of you, you will look up and you receive it in Jesus' name. He needed a wife. It was his time for him to get married. And the Bible says, as he was meditating, that he looked up. I pray that you look up and get your breakthrough. Look up and get your job, look up and get that business breakthrough, look up and get that contract, look up and get that blessing, that release, that finances. You know, that thing you're believing God for, that resurrection, the healing, as meditation becomes part
Designing Your Perfect Day
SPEAKER_01of our daily life. So let's dive into it very quickly before we go into prayer. I want us to make sure we have enough time to pray. Perfect day meditation. This is powerful. Remember, all through the 30 days, we have been talking about your perfect dream life. And it, you know, what are you believing in God for? What's your purpose? What has God called you to do? Uh, to do, what you would a perfect dream day look like if everything came into fruition, as you know, God, you know, every prayer that you have been making came into fruition. How would a perfect day look like? Now, why it is important to ponder over these things? Because if you don't know what you are looking for, when it arrives, you can't know. And so, occasionally and frequently and as many times as you can, it is important for you to walk into that perfect day in your life. Perfect day, how would it look like if every prayer was answered, if every single thing you are believing God for, how would your perfect day look like? It's good to know that God has given us the power of imagination. Abraham he was believing God for a son, um, his son of promise. Um, and and and that's why you know God takes him outside for him to just imagine how it would look like. He tries to count the stars and realizes it's possible. And for you, what is it? What would your perfect day look like? This is important. So we would like you to, and before you even go into the meditation, but get clarity on it. What would that perfect day look like? They create, you know, what what would be assuming you are beginning, you're waking up on your perfect dream day. Where would you wake up? Where what would be that place? What's the location? Where? Which city? Which town? Would it be in some mountain place in some beach somewhere? Which country would you wake up in? Where, which location? If everything, what would be your perfect dream day? Where would you wake up? What would be that place? You spend time just figuring it out, right? To build it, get it. What would it look like? Who you know, where would it be? What time would it be? Which country would it be? Who would you wake up with? Maybe it's your family, and you wake up in that place in that perfect home or that perfect you know location. Um, you know, how would it look like? How would it be morning? Maybe it's some big, huge estate, some ranch somewhere, and um, where would it be? What would a perfect dream day look like? What would you be doing? Maybe it's the calling that God has put in your life. What would you be? Where would you wake up? Where would you be doing? Maybe you would be sitting somewhere ministering to you know to people and catching this word in a special place. But what would that perfect dream day look like? Where would it begin? Where would you begin? Where would you wake up? Who would be around you? Where is it? How would you go about it? Who would be with you in that room? Maybe it's it's a business. You know, um, you can look at it in several dimensions, you know. Your family, who would be with you? Where would you be? Where would be location? Where, you know, what would be happening around there? Um, if it's a business, what would it be? Or it does not,
A Ministry Vision For Wider Reach
SPEAKER_01you know, it can be anything, but what would a perfect dream day look like? And it's even for us for as a ministry. We continue dreaming of perfect dream day for this ministry, you know, and there are many things that we believe in God for. We want to touch the world in a different, in a different way. Um, you know, when we're in the mission fields, uh, we we are telling people how we you know we pray that what we are doing in in these missions could be transmitted on a perfect dream day of Krem would wake up, would be in the mission field, and would have arrived. Many of us, pastors packed, cars packed there, we are ministering and in this, you know, several meetings are going on. And on that beautiful perfect dream day, we are saying we are broadcasting all that that's happening live in the classes, um, is being broadcast live across, and there are many, many schools, and many young people tuning in digitally to connect, to receive what you're actually doing in that class, in that meeting, being spread and broadcast across multiple campuses. And and as we do the alter call, many, many young people are popping up from across this nation, across the world. They are connected, they are tuning, they are receiving. And so the impact is not just restricted to small group of people, one, two, or thousand or two thousand, but spread across the country. At a time like now, when you can see the hopelessness as in the schools, um, you know, we can be able to speak to the lives of these young ones. They can be able to receive hope and motivation and and do great things. And um, and and and it should be a perfect dream. I'm just a perfect dream day for this ministry. Every morning we are connected, maybe at the crem center now as we continue on uplifting that place. And perfect dream day would be the place is full of people running around. We have our radio station running in, we have a TV station running in, we have people broadcasting there and here, and we are making a huge impact in our society. What would a perfect dream day be for the ministry? How would it look
Walking By Faith Into Tomorrow
SPEAKER_01like? I'll describe that for the ministry, but it will be it will be exactly the same for you. How would a perfect dream day look like for you? And this is important because when you now go into meditation, you begin to walk, you begin to make it real, you begin to ponder it and you know the whole scripture and and and proclaim maybe a perfect dream day is a family, you are married, and you have a child, you're holding the child in your hand. Remember, you know, maybe it has not yet happened yet. You are walking into that stage. You can see yourself with your family surrounded by a complete loving family, your children, holding them in your hands, dropping them in school, taking them out there, making a big difference. Or it could be a you know, a career, you're thriving in that career, you've you're making a big difference, you're getting that promotion, whatever it is, what is your perfect dream day? Brethren, it is important for us to frequently walk into that perfect dream day. Because if you can walk into it, you can feel it, you can touch it, you can be there, um, and you can experience it in a meditative part of you know say in our way of life, and you begin to walk it. One day, those things will begin to materialize, and you'll be saying, Oh, actually, I saw this. I'm now in the house, and I have the child, I have the husband, I have the wife, I have a job, I have a promotion, and it will not be surprising you. Why? Because you walked in there before it happened. And you see, when you do this, and it changes your perception, it changes your language, it changes your expectation from God, it puts you in a position of strength, and the enemy begins to lose power over you because you can begin to touch the promises of God in your life before they even happen. That's why this is so powerful. And you need to come out some time in your day to walk into that perfect dream day in your family, in your business, in your spiritual life, in your work, in your church, in our ministry, you know, whatever responsibility that God has laid in your heart, in your life, you need to be able to walk into that perfect dream today. It could be your company, it could be your area of responsibility, and we are believing God for growth, uh, you know, for prospects, for expansion. And that God has given us that ability to be able to walk into the future today, and the more it becomes real, the more you make it real, the more you make it real, the more you it feels real, the more you make it real. You begin to see this change your prayer life. When you come back from that state of meditation and you are before God, you begin to thank him. Thank you, God, thank you, thank you for making it happen. Thank you for coming through to me, thank you for getting me out of this challenge. It changes your entire prayer life because you are walking into your future, you're not focused on today's uh challenges and and the things that you're going through. You begin to experience God's power and go's, you know, you are getting a test of you know God's faithfulness and it changes your prayer life, it changes your how you you know how you behave, how you it changes your prayer life, it changes how you speak, it changes even how you engage, it changes your faith, even changes who you are as a person because you begin, you begin walking by faith, you begin to live in a very different uh sphere of your life. Brethren, this is powerful. Perfect day meditation. How would your perfect day be like? It's good to have clarity over it and it changes your prayer life. Amen. So it's it's it's a very important exercise as part of this third day challenge. I encourage you to try it and spend some time into meditation, know how to go into meditation, lock yourself in that place, do your mantras, read your scripture, meditate over that scripture, and go into that state where you are really, really walking to that future, touching it. You may not want to come back, but when you come back, you'll be
Practice The Perfect Day Meditation
SPEAKER_01thanking God and really worshiping him for who he is. Allow us to reach it there. Perfect day meditation, practice it today. Uh, it's a very, very important component of this Thursday challenge, and we're going to pick it up from there tomorrow.
