Letting Go And Living Free
SPEAKER_02Challenge every single day to let go of things, let go of bitterness, you know, anger, you know, resentment. You're gonna be there, you resent things, things that are happening to you. People, you see them coming this way, you turn this way. You don't want to see them. And because things happen, your relationship is got this God strained. You know, this 30-day challenge, we are, you know, we are challenged to let go of things so that you can live free and you can live on purpose. Hallelujah.
Generosity Without A Grudging Heart
SPEAKER_02Balance mentality, we are reminded here of the spirit of generosity. Deuteronomy 15, 10, we pray that these 30 days, generosity will be embedded in our hearts, in our lives, in our way of life. Now that give generosity to them and do so without a grudging heart. Then, because of this, the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your understanding. We cannot over-emphasize how important this is. Live from a position of generosity. Generosity expands you. You don't become small because you are generous. And you need to look around. In fact, I was reflecting on it. The nations that are that have prospered, that have done well, they have been very generous. Very generous nations. Very generous nations. If you, you know, when we were growing up, um, you know, we used to get food aid. I think it was called you know, food aid that used to be sent when there was drought, and you'll see um the flag of America, um, you know, from the um from the American people. They were distributing food all over the place. Even in the in the early, in the early, in the early 70s, early 80s, you know, we were getting, you know, aid was being sent to this country from America. The Americans have been helping everybody. You go to every country in Africa and you will find American money being there, helping people with food. And no wonder today it is still the world's greatest power. They have been, they were a country who started off from a position of generosity. They responded to every disaster that happens in the world. Something happened somewhere, the Americans are sending aid there, the first to arrive. Um, you know, uh and no wonder they prospered. Anyway, the point is be generous to the poor and do so without a grudging heart. Now, I'm not sure about today anymore, they are changing their ways. Uh, but the American people have been absolutely generous to the whole world. And no wonder God has blessed that nation when they continue to flourish. And I pray that you become our portion to be challenged in our own small way to live from a position of generosity. With what you have, you're generous. And um, that the Lord will enlarge you. And this is something that we pick up here for every single day.
Seek First The Kingdom
SPEAKER_02We remind ourselves. Uh, key verses, Matthew 6:33 seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Let's continue to seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and he promises us that all these things will be given to you as well. We pray that things will come to us: good health, healing, uh, prosperity, uh, peace. You know that all everything that your heart desires will be given to us, even as we continue to seek his righteousness and seek his kingdom. And in 1 Corinthians 2 9, we are reminded: no eye has seen and no ear has heard. What and no human mind has conceived the things God has prepared for those who love him. So, brethren, let us go and love God, let us love him uh with all our heart. I like what David was telling King Solomon, he's handing over to him and giving his final words, and he was telling him, serve God with a whole, you're saying, whole-hearted devotion. Whole-hearted devotion. Um, so you can serve God without devotion. And you can serve him devoted but not whole-hearted. And there's something that God does to those that choose to serve God whole-heartedly, and it's repeated there. If you look at um King David handing out Solomon, and even the kings that came after him, you'll see there are kings that decided to serve God wholeheartedly, and God blessed them. So we pray that we love God, that these 30 days will bring us closer to God, and um, you know, our hearts will reach a point where we can be um we can serve God with a wholehearted devotion. I believe God is looking for such, uh He's looking for such a church, He's looking for such a group of people that can sincerely serve Him with whole-hearted devotion. But there are a lot of things that people do for the sick, and not out of devotion, not out of love, but they're doing it for the sick. Sometimes we do things out of you know, religion. Religion is doing something to be seen, just being there, or because it's a routine anyway. Let me go. No, God is looking for people that can serve him with a whole hearted devotion. He says, when he says that he says, No I have seen, no hear us out, and no human mind has conceived the things God has prepared for those who love him. Hallelujah.
Wholehearted Devotion Over Religion
SPEAKER_021 Samuel 10, 6 to 10. The Spirit of the Lord will come powerfully upon you, and you will prophesy with them, and you'll be changed into a different person. This has been a scripture that's anchored us, and it's been a desire, a cry of our hearts, that even as we go through this 30-day challenge, God will bring us closer to us, and we're going to be changed. We'll leave this 30-day challenge not the same. Something is going to shift. Something in our work with Him, the way we serve Him, our relationship with Him, something could shift. We're going to be changed into a different person. And you see, once you get changed into a different person, people will see. People will know. They'll see something has changed, something has shifted. When the Spirit of God comes powerfully, um, you know, will come powerfully. And one of the things I remembered, um, you know, when we those early days when we began uh the ministry, or um, when we started actually the prayer, the overnight prayer meeting in in in the early days when this ministry was starting. And I remember one Sunday, I'll never forget it, I'll never forget that Sunday, but it's still like very clear in my mind. We just started the Kesha and we are praying, and God was doing amazing things. You can never pray, and God doesn't change you. God was changing us. We are just a bunch of young people, but God was doing something in that overnight prayer meeting, and he was changing us. I remember one Sunday I came in and after the service, um, we know we just finished, and after the service, one of our um pastors, I think he was uh we used to have Bible school uh student pastors coming over to serve in our church. And so one one one of the Sundays, one of these Bible school student pastors came over to me after the after the service, and he told me, I you know, I don't know what something has happened, something has happened to you. You have changed. You have changed. And I stood there looking at him and he's saying, something, there's something about you that has changed. And you could sense the change in the church. You could sense the change in the youth group. You could sense the change, something had shifted. Um, this is so true. When this when I didn't even know what he was talking about, I didn't even understand what he was talking about. I knew I was definitely something had shifted for me. Uh, the desire to serve God, to work with him. We could sense God was doing something in that group. We are not the same anymore. Um, and and surely when the Spirit of God comes, it changes us. And then we pray these 30 days as we fellowship here, as we go to in June the 30th, somehow God is going to change us, and we're gonna be different people. Uh, we've got our relationship with him, the way we serve him, our commitment, our love for him, our genuine fellowship, the genuine fellowship of brothers and brethren, that that family of God is going to be more and more and more pronounced as we bring these 30 days to a challenge. We pray that this will become a reality for us. And the Bible says as soul turned to live, that's first nine, as soul turned to live somewhere. God changed soul's heart. Brethren, we pray that with the Lord change our hearts. Really, really change our hearts. You know, really, really change our hearts. Things that, you know, when our heart is changed, you begin to love again. You begin to love again. People that you could never even talk to, you begin to talk to them again. You things that you could not let go, you begin to let go, you forgive again, you give another chance and another chance and another chance, and you let go. That's our prayer this morning, brethren. That as we bring these 30 days to a close, as soul turned to leave somewhere, God changed Saul's heart. Hallelujah. Maybe things that have hand, that have been stuck in your heart, that have been so heavy, and we pray that God is going to change your heart, it's going to change my heart, and we're going to let go, and we're going to be freed to reign and to serve God and for his presence to be tangibly present in us, in everything that we do. And his blessings and favor be upon us as we bring this to a close on the 30th. So as Saul turned to leave somewhere, God changed Saul's heart. And our prayer is that us, this challenge draws to a close. Hallelujah. May our heart be changed. There's nothing more powerful than a changed heart. A changed heart is powerful. We pray that it shall be so in Jesus' name. Hallelujah.
Daily Practices For Body And Soul
SPEAKER_02We remind ourselves: take some time outdoors, connect with God, connect with nature, see what God is doing around you. Um, it's powerful. Take out of water, keep yourself hydrated, and remember your body is your licensed to be here on earth. So just take care of it. Let's take care of our bodies as much as we can. Purpose to be a blessing to someone today, and especially one that cannot pay you back.
The 30-Day Challenge Recap
SPEAKER_02Amen. Let's dive into a recap of what we have covered, and then I'm going to open it up. I think I've taken too long. Two minutes, we wrap this up. We have covered a lot of things. Uh, we learned to connect with God. And maybe as we opened up to testimonies, testimonies, you'll share with us what you have received along these lines. We learn to connect with God. Remember, we said you can buy an electric kettle that's supposed to be for boiling water. And if you bring that kettle home, you can use it for drawing water from your drum, from your tap. You can use it if you have cows, you can go to milk with it. But until you connect that kettle to the power, it will never boil water. It's when you connect it to power and you put water in, it begins to boil water. And that's when you begin to use it for the purpose intended. Until we are connected to God, we can never be able to live on purpose. There's a purple, there's a reason why God created us. And sometimes in this journey of life, we do very many things. We are a kettle that's supposed to be for boiling water, but we get used to milk, we get used to even mesh flour, we get used to put maize. Um, we can draw water in a drum. We can be used for many things. But it's only when we get connected to God that we begin to be used for the purpose intended. And when you connect that keto to power and you put water, it boils that water effectively. And that was the purpose why the kettle had been made. All these other things, drawing milk, whatever, this that's not what and you can do a very good job, by the way. You can milk your cows with that keto nicely, it will contain milk. It was never made for milking, it was made for boiling water. And you see, many times in this life we are used for many things. We find ourselves and we can spend years doing many things that are of no purpose to us. That's what God called us. And we know because it's uncomfortable, we know because we don't enjoy it, we know because we dread it. We are doing things that we are not called, not our purpose. Until we get connected, God, and we begin living on purpose, then all of a sudden it just fits in. And when you want you're operating on purpose, you can do, you can be doing, you don't even need to be paid. You will do it happily anytime. You can do it for hours. You don't complain. Why? You are connected, God, and you're living on purpose. Oh my god, let me not go on. We talked about forgiveness and purification. We said let people go. We said if you if people have hurt you and you are the one annoyed, it's like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. So we said, forgive, release, write those forgiveness letters. Forgive yourself, forgive God, forgive people. Because we are the biggest critics ourselves. We we could we we we we we criticize ourselves. Oh, how did you do that? How did you make that decision? So let's let's go. Then um we learned about prayer and meditation. Meditation we said is powerful. It's like today we go, we prepare to go to the house of God. You know, we've been spending the whole weekend meditating on God's goodness, on who he is to our lives. And so when you enter into the service and you are there worshiping God, it's real, it's tangible. Why? You spend time meditating over today's service. He talked about changing our language, living from a position of gratefulness. We said when you are grateful, everything changes. There's always a bright side to it. Focus on the positives, don't focus on the negatives. Then we talk about decoding our desires. Why? You know, we looked at natural and natural desires. We realized sometimes some of the desires we have are completely, completely misaligned. Power of Sabbath was powerful. We talked about visioning our vision, self-butalization. We talked about living on purpose, having the right map, habits, dealing with habits that drain us. And we talk about habit elevation, changing our habits. If you want to change your life, you have to change your habits. Change something you do daily. If there's something that's not serving you, you can drop it. All habits are picked up. That means we can drop them. And the way to drop them is to substitute them with good words. We talked about a dream life manifesto. We spend time on self-esteem, self-image, self-projection. Uh, we answer the question, who am I? Who am I not? We said, you know, you cannot. We we can be um we can we can be so upset with our titles and positions that we don't know who we are. And we say, never define yourself with something that can be taken. Never define yourself with things that people can take away from you, jobs that can be taken away. You can be retrenched, you can leave, you you know the things that are um they can be taken away from you. Let us not be attached to them. Let those not define us, then we'll enjoy life. Perfect day meditation. We talked about that, and then yesterday we spent time on self-control and self-discipline. We saw all the things we've covered here. You need to be able to control your emotions. Not ignore your emotions, you know they are there, but be able to control them so that you don't do what your emotions tell you to do. You do what's right. And discipline, self-discipline, we said, is the ability to give yourself a command and you actually obey it. You say, I'm waking up. Yeah, I'm giving up this habit. I will not eat that chocolate, I'll eat broccoli, I will not eat, I will not eat that sweet, I'm walking away, giving yourself a command and actually obeying it, self-discipline. So that's what we have covered so far, and I want to leave it there. Allow me to uh pack it there and just open it up um to uh you know all of us here, and then we'll try to take a few. Um, you know, I will try to take um, you know uh try to take uh participation from uh all of us here and uh yeah I'm going to just open it up.
Testimonies And Group Participation
SPEAKER_02Um we're gonna start. I think let's start up with Pastor Katiko. Today I'm going to give my uh our uh leaders a chance. I think Pastor Katiko, I think you are connected. I'm gonna give you a chance to share what you have picked. Okay, uh, then brother James, I'm gonna give you a chance as well. Uh huh. Let's see who else has not picked up. Uh Sister Grace Mutoni, get ready. Okay, uh, we'll give you a chance as well. We want to also give those who are new, just into uh get ready. Those who have not given us uh here, we'll give you a chance. Uh, let us all take uh can also see we have um Zioka's family in the diaspora. I know it's going to around 10, 11, 10:30 at night in New York. Uh so before you sleep, I'll give you a chance as well. Yeah, in that order, and then uh also uh Shariz. Um try to give you a chance. You've been joining us every morning. So Sharice Um Yvelyn. Yeah, so let's dive into it. So we'll start up with Professor Katiko, and then Sakatiko will hand it over to Brother James, and then after that, we'll hand it over to um um after so we'll do Katiko we'll do James, and then after that, we'll go to just Sintan. Then I'll mention the others as we go on. Welcome.
Meditation Outdoors And Serving People
SPEAKER_10Thank you very much. I hope you can hear me.
SPEAKER_02Yes, we can hear you very well.
SPEAKER_10All right, I just want to appreciate and thank God first, and appreciate because of this challenge, we have learned many things that are very powerful. And I begin uh by saying one of the things that I have learned is the power of just walking outside there, and I begin to see the goodness of the Lord. The idea of walking out will draw you to the highest level of worship that is called meditation. And uh, when you go to that level, you just get swallowed by the presence of God, you are in another world. These are the levels where you can just sit down and allow the Holy Spirit, you know, to teach you many things about the Lord. You see the goodness of the Lord. Uh-uh, and and uh you know, uh according to me from where I sit, there are three levels where you can you can go through it's a process. Number one, when you go the before the Lord, you can begin by number one, saying things, you know, talking to God, you are just saying things, uplifting his name, glorifying him, and uh you know, using your mouth to say things, good things about your God. Number two is when you go to the second level of doing things, doing things, you jump from just saying things to doing things. For example, at a given time, the Israelites were involved in a in a war, and what surprises me, the power of doing things, uh, they went and inquired from the Lord, are we going to go to the battlefield the following day? God told them yes, and even it was very specific. A certain group, uh Judah, was to begin, was to go ahead of everybody. And after this thing, having been given permission to go ahead and fight, the Bible says that 22 people were killed with the permission from the Lord. Why? Because they just woke up that morning and they went to the battlefield. The second day, the Bible is very clear, they went and they wept before. The Lord, and uh the resort were because they at least they have done something, they were killed 18,000. Now check the third day. The Bible says they went, did four things. Number one, they wept before the Lord, number two, they fasted, number three, they offered and burnt offerings, number four, they offered uh, you know, what they called fellowship offerings. Now check the results. The Bible says that they were told this time around, they were given an answer. They were taught we will I will hand over these enemies into your hands. The power of jumping from saying things to doing something when you sacrifice. Now, the last change is that what I'm talking about meditation. So when you go outside there, you begin to see, you know, and when I was thinking about this one thing I've learned, I I remember this songguanga. You know, you know that song, and then you go, you get lost in the presence of the Lord. Number two, I've learned that I have a responsibility to serve my generation. Remember what the Bible says, the Bible says, after David served God's purpose in his generation is when he was allowed now to go and arrest. And therefore, it's important to understand that it is a kingdom demand that you serve your generation. And uh just before I was infited, something was running into my mind that we have we have two levels of giving our service. Number one, we serve God, number two, we serve God's people. You cannot separate God from his people. So when you claim that you are a servant of God, what you are telling us is that you are serving God's people. And therefore, in the ministry, we cannot ignore people because it is part of our service. Amen, amen. And that's why Jesus before he went over the last lesson he taught the church was about service. Aliwaita kanza kua u shami goo. Nakawambia, what you have seen mean do, go and then do the same things to others. Church, brothers and sisters, we've been called to serve God, and number two, to serve uh uh people. The last thing uh as I close, and I and I I want to support that number two as I close with a verse here. In the book of Corinthians, chapter 15, verse 56, the Bible says Paul is saying, telling to the uh speaking to the whole world, and he says, There, therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, number one, stand firm. Number two, let nothing move you. Number three, always give yourselves fully, not 50 percent. Three carries a lot of weight. Always give yourself fully to the work of the Lord, and you can do the three things minus number four. It says, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. So for anyone to be committed, 100% serving God, doing God's purpose into your life, you must run with 1 Corinthians 15, verse uh 50 6. Uh, and is where when you understand as a brother and a sister, we ought to stand firm, never allow anything to move us, you know, from the calling. And then God is telling us we serve him a hundred percent, you know, give yourself fully. And we cannot do that three things, and God's purpose in our lives without understanding that our labor in the in the Lord is not in vain. Lastly, uh, our leader, lastly, is this idea of letting things go, allowing things to go, forgiving people. You know, as I close, uh, this is supported by uh uh when Paul is telling the whole world, you know, uh uh uh lay aside, you know, there's a race marked ahead of us, and we cannot run with easiness and smoothness when we are carrying things, and that's why Nasema to lay, we cut off every weight, throw away every weight so that we may run the race marked before us. You never see any any man in 100% meters carrying some luggages, you know, and those kind of stuff. So let's be released and we serve God. Thank you very much, our leader. We are blessed. Let me stop there.
Gratitude And Decoding Desires
SPEAKER_09Thank you, thank you. Uh, we want to thank God for this far and uh the thing that we continue to learn throughout this 11th edition of Challenge, that days of challenge. Uh, I'll pick four days out of the three weeks that we've uh learned. And the first day, I'll pick it uh day five, where we were learning about being grateful, gratitude, and desire. And that's really brethren, uh, the art of being grateful to bring about attitude. And then our brother, when he was teaching us, he spoke about the ten lepers who were healed, and only one who showed up to come and say thank you. And brother, I realized it's important to be grateful to God, grateful to people on the things that people do to your life, the people that God does upon your life. Uh, remember, uh, only one leper came to say thank you. And then our brother, when he was speaking, there's something that caught up in my mind. He said, It is good to be grateful to everything that the Lord does upon your life. However big it is, however small it is, he reached a point, he said that you need to be grateful because you have some money in your account. You need to be grateful because even you can you can you can you can do fleeza. And then he mentioned something that shocked me that uh uh uh even you need to be grateful because you can fleeza, because there are people who are not even able to fleezer. Meaning that any small minute thing that the Lord does upon our lives, brethren, we need to be grateful in uh every desire that we have in this life and look upon God because He's the one who does things for us. It's not about us, not about experience that we have, but we need just to look unto him and be grateful that we have brothers, be grateful that you have sisters, be grateful that God has given you a business or you have you have some work. There are people who are toiling day and night and they don't have a result, they don't have anything that they can show. And we need just to be grateful, be grateful that God has given us such a platform that we can gather together. And we've been gathering now, it's almost six years, gather together to listen to the word of God and encourage one another. This life profile is about encouraging one another. Then day six, he that is the first week. Day six, we are dealing about peeling the onion, and then he gave us an instruction illustration of a young man who has a desire to do a cell. And then the reason why he needed the cell is that he may give get some money. He was designed to get $250,000 so that he can buy his dream car. And after buying the dream car, he wanted also to attract all the girls in the town so that at the end of the day he can get a wife and also finally, finally get love. Reverend, we need to ask God to help us that we may be able to peel the onion until we get to the depth of the things that we are desiring in our lives. And so when we use the process and wait upon God, our God is so faithful, even when there are mountains, when there are valleys, he's able to take us through all that. We just wait upon him and look upon our God because he's such a faithful God and he will do it so long as we are looking unto him, waiting upon him, and allow him so that he can show us what we ought to do. Then I'll jump to week number two. Week number two, I'll pick day 12, whereby the 12th we are we are talking about having the right uh road map. It's very important you ask yourself, are you are you in the right, are you using the right map, are you using the right path, whatever, uh whatever you're doing, whether it's in your business, whether it's the church, in the operation that you're doing, are you using the right map? Because so long as you're not using the right map, you never reach your destination. Then I remember giving us an illustration about your Numbasa, and you happen to get the wrong map, you use the map of Nairobi, then so long as you want to go to Chiangamwe, you will always be going a different place because you're using the wrong roadmap. It's allowing God to show us the path and the ways that we ought to pass so that we can be able to reach our destination. And this comes by surrendering and having a time to meditate upon the word of God, listening to what the Lord is saying, the instruction that God is giving. Remember when Joshaphat they were fighting uh uh against the three nations that had invaded them. He was told very simple, do not use your weapons, do not use anything, but just get the praise and the worship team. And as you praise and the worship, then God by himself used an ambush and he caused the enemies to fight uh uh against one another. That means he used the right map that God had given unto him. So let's listen to the Spirit of God, what he's telling us to do, and then we'll be able to reach our destination. Then the week three, I'll pick day number 15 when we were talking about um healing and and and and uh our brother spoke very clearly with the about about Joseph. Joseph, he was betrayed by his own brothers, he was betrayed by his own people. In this life, brethren, your own colleagues, your own businessmen, people you're working or together with, they will they will they will betray you. But look upon Joseph. He had desired in his heart. He had when he saw his brethren, even he saw his brothers, he realized them, but he died not to revenge. And the only way for him to heal from the aspect that they sold him is by forgiving them and by letting things go. So brave is that the aspect of allowing things to go, do not pile things, do not have a mountain of things that uh uh uh happened to you or people did to you. Allow exactly the way Jesus decided to forgive uh them that who betrayed him, even also those who put them on the cross, the same same way, brethren. We allow healing by letting things go. And this has been so powerful. There are so many days that I can mention about the thing that's about habits and things, but the Lord has been so faithful to speak to us. So let us carry briefly what the Lord has taught us. Let's do it, and at the end of the year, we shall stand and give a testimony of what the Lord will have done upon our lives. Thank you so much for the opportunity to share, and I want to bless the Lord because it's been so faithful. I want to handle it back to Jacinda so that she can take over and give what the Lord has given to her.
Letting Go As Spiritual Strength
SPEAKER_02Man, man, Jacinda, are you able to unmute and share and then um thank you for this opportunity?
SPEAKER_01I'm really grateful to God for this fruitful. It has been a blessing to me and my family. I am be listening with my spouse every day, and I thank God for their transformation. It was being told about teamwork. And it started we wear to the teamwork had to start with us first. And I'm grateful to God. The daily affirmations. Uh it's something that I have not done before. The work with God, my expectations, and also I found that someone some are not aligning to God's will. And even my desires. And also I learned about forgiveness and letting go. That it is unpowerfully that the that the power in the physical world it is how much you can leave. But the power in the spiritual world is how much you can let go. I I not I didn't have that knowledge. But what I thank God now, it has been now easy. It is not like before. Forgiving. I could want to understand why someone has to do this to me. But now I have known this power when you forgive, and also about generosity. It is being now easy to give without expectations, and let me say it is a journey of transformation on my end, and I'm gr I'm really grateful to God, and also about self-lispring command. I'm really learning a lot. Um, and I'm grateful to God. May he keep blessing us all and that we may align to his will.
SPEAKER_02I mean, man. Thank you so much, Jacinta. I'm grateful to have you here uh for joining us. Uh thank you for that. Uh by the way, Jacinda, you where are you connecting from?
SPEAKER_01I'm in Nairobi.
SPEAKER_02Nairobi. Wonderful, excellent, great. Uh let's turn it on to the ziokas, and then we'll take uh sister Grace uh Mutoni and then we'll come to Evelyn.
Self-Mastery And The Serenity Prayer
SPEAKER_00Um uh Evelyn, welcome Ziokas.
SPEAKER_07Uh I'm grateful to God this evening, and I thank God for the privilege that I've been able to attend this challenge. It has really been a blessing to me, and I'm so super grateful to God. Um just say the part that has really sunk deeply in me in this season, especially in this week that is ending today. It was about the self-mastering, and uh this has been really challenging to me because it revolves around the self-control and the self-discipline, and these are two key areas that shape a person. Help one to make a command, help one to deal with things around you, and it has really been a blessing to me, and especially with the serenity prayer that says, God grant me the serenity to accept things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference. This has really been a blessing to me, and now when I engage in the process, I'm just praying for the grace of God because God is very faithful. So I'm blessed and I thank God very cute and sound.
SPEAKER_02Amen. Thank you. And great to see you connecting from that far. It's a grace, and then we'll go to Evelyn and maybe close it there so we spend a few minutes in prayer before Brother Nola wraps it up.
Healing By Revisiting The Past
SPEAKER_06Praise the Lord. I hope you can hear me. For me, uh, what really has been my take home is uh the teaching from day 15 about releasing uh healing, releasing healing, and that the key truth is that 100% of all that has happened was there to make you better, not better. So 100% of what happened to me and to you or any other person, it was it happened not to make us better, but to make us better people who are reminded this by the story of Joseph. And sometimes you may be you maybe someone might have experienced pain that you needed healing because of what was done to them, or even what they did to others, and they needed uh time and opportunity to say stories, or even just to uh express themselves to the people because of pain. In the case of Joseph, you can see Joseph was sold by his own brother to Egypt. They did not want him because he looked better, he was a dreamer, and they were jealous of him. So they sold him out to Egypt. And when he went to Egypt, remember the story of Joseph even being in jail for things he did not commit, but just because he was a dreamer and his uh talent and his gift in dreaming is what meant him to be promoted in the land of Egypt. While he was there, he was being able to do very well, and there was crop in Egypt, and the brothers of Joseph were going to look for him there. What I look at in this story is the fact that even these brothers were were very, they were in pain, they were like sick and they needed healing, they needed to face their brother and kind of just embow before him and tell him we are sorry for what we did. So when we went through this story, we were also taught how the steps of how you can be able to heal. And uh one of the steps is to gently get into a prayerful state when you are relaxed. You just prayer, you get into a meditative and a prayerful state, and then you go down the memory lane and revisit a story that may have had a strong impact in your life, and then you allow yourself to be there. When we were taught this, I was able to go back to my past, you know. Before I've been thinking that avoiding the past is what would cost me healing, or would make me happy. But I realize there is another way, a better way of doing it. You go down the memory lane and go and put yourself in that story, in that time, what you went through that cost you a lot of this pain. And when you are there, then you can understand where you are today. So look at that version of yourself experiencing that pain, experiencing that story. And then now calm down and then with wisdom and a new perspective, just help the younger version of yourself, the current you now experience what is happening. And then revisit the experience from a larger perspective than your own and consider the experience of uh of other people and circumstances. Then you give yourself a thank you and you're going to heal. So I thought that one was was profound. That is what I've been trying to do from Monday onward. Monday was 15th, day 15. I've been trying to do this, and it has been very helpful to me. And I've also been trying to help other people to do it. There is a group I belong to, and currently we are out for a holiday. I was able to identify someone I'm really working with, even currently, because she has been in bitterness since the time she was young, and now she's in her 60s. And she cannot hide that bitterness that she has been having from all those. Yes. And I'm trusting God that by the end of this time we are together, that God is going to touch her. She's going to allow Jesus Christ into her life, who is going to change her life. And the truth, the key truth is that when you relate your past, you relate your future. So if you can't sit down and go the down the memory lane and relate your past, it is not easy for you to relate your future. That is what I learned, and that is what I have proved to be very true during this week. So thank you very much. As we continue to learn during this time, thank you very much. Our brother Isaac, it is such a sacrifice to take us through this. God bless you all. Amen.
SPEAKER_02Amen. Amen. Thank you so much, Grace. That's so powerful to hear. That has also been an amazing thing for me as well. Um, as you revisit my past and then walk in. And yeah, it's been powerful, and I'm glad that uh it's working for you. Uh Evelyn, maybe we'll give you a chance briefly, and then Brother Ndolo, uh, you'll be coming to wrap it up for us.
Daily Declarations And Ongoing Renewal
SPEAKER_02And uh yeah, I'll bless the Lord for that. And next week we'll definitely get more people as we wrap it up. Uh for now, Evelyn, welcome.
SPEAKER_08Good morning, everyone, and Shalom. I want to bless the Lord for this morning and for the 11th challenge that I'm able to participate. Actually, I would say it has been uh a moment of recreation in my life. I've uh learned a lot and I'm like uh practicing every day to uh uh declare about uh positive about my life. I've learned to forgive, to release, I've learned uh uh not to hold grudges, not to to carry burdens in my heart, but to release them to the Lord. And uh I am actually healing from a lot of past hearts, and I'm releasing, eventually, I'm releasing and healing. I thank God every day I am being renewed, every day I am becoming a new and different person to the glory of God. So I'm just so grateful, I'm so happy that uh I'm in this forum and I'm being taught every day. Bless the Lord and amen.
SPEAKER_02Amen, man. Thank you so much, Yveline, and uh yeah, we really bless the Lord for that. And for all of you, as before I underwater Brotherendolo to wrap it up for us, we are now coming to the final, final, final week is normally our very best. So let's um encourage as many people as we can. Let's darling and let us close the week powerfully. Looking forward to the graduation on June the 30th. Uh, hopefully, we'll be able to give some certificates. Brother, I don't know what you're gonna do, but it's so amazing. The last week is normally our very, very best. So you want to be there in Sralia, everyone. Let's part the house and let us um close powerfully, and it's gonna be great. So, welcome, brother, and just wrap it up for us. And it's really great to hear those testimonies here from all of you, and we're gonna believe God for our final, final wish uh you know, transformation of last week. Welcome, brother.
Practice The Teaching Where It Counts
SPEAKER_05Thank you, brother. Oh, let me take this time to thank God because he's given us to the chance to hear what we are hearing, also, he's given us the grace to be connecting every morning for the last uh 10 days. It's not been easy, but God has been so, so, so gracious. I want also to thank God for hearing the testimonies from brethren. It's really really very encouraging. And I want to thank God for this. And I think as I said last week, and it's been the trend what our speaker has been directing is all this, as much as we listen to all this every morning, the most important thing is to arise and get one or two things, or the most you can, so that you can we can practice what we have been learning for the last 10 days. Because the the miracle comes in the doing. And as I've listened to so many of us, I believe our lives are going to be transformed. Our lives and the transformation once it happens in my life. I hope always put an emphasis it must be reflected in first in my family. Number two, with my friends, it has to be reflected in my fellowship, in the church, in the place and do business. If you are a businessman, the people around you, they must see a change. The people who are working with you, they must be a see a change. Our brother this morning gave us an example of what happened to him when he was called by the pastor in the then. What has happened to you? Because truly the change could be seen. And brethren, may this be the case in our lives, or that we are learning through this challenge, because it is something which is so practical. This is practical gospel. Let this one be seen in the way even we serve God, our commitment, our generosity. How quick are we to forgive others when it goes to our desires? Our desire, our desire, what is the purpose of our desires, what I desire when we meditate uh uh self-control, like me as I as I finish, I think the one which is for so far is about the self-control, that is the self-mastery, which gives us uh uh uh our self-control you are doing. The Bible says as a city whose walls are whose walls are broken is a man without self-control, because anybody can enter any direction. But if a city has a wall which is surrounding it, like Jerusalem, then like Jericho, then of course it's the embryo is one and it is called it can be controlled. Who is going to enter that city? So it's very important to have self-control, something which is very important. Something else I want also to emphasize is on leasing. We may always be taught uh the power. The power, the physical power, what is mentioned, what about the spiritual is what we can lease in this connection. The thing which is making so many families, so many businesses, so many institutions. We've seen even what some of the children who are burning us with, they are saying because somebody need me to this, I wanted to teach him a lesson. Oh, why oh, why oh, why is all this emanating? And forgiveness. We have seen so many suicides. Why? Unforgiveness. If businesses are going down, why? Because one director has uh has failed to forgive another director, then the business comes down. We have seen institutions come down, ministries like our ministers come down because so and they saw as uh this leader and the other leader, they are they are worked with any forgiveness, then it comes down. My prayer is may God enable us to release, to write those letters and to imburn them, to pray them for them that we are struggling to forgive. And as it's being as our brother emphasized, is you drink a cup of poison expecting the other person to die. Whereby it's me who is dying. The cup, because it's me who drank it, I'm going to die, not the other person whom I failed to and whom I'm available to forgive. May God enable us, brethren, to forgive. We've seen choirs come down, fellowships come down, and I'm putting this as an embassy because of what is surrounding us and what we are seeing happening. Right from our families, uh, right in our churches, uh right in our in our institutions, where we do business, may God enable us to forgive.
