Opening Prayer And Intentions

SPEAKER_00

To make that your ambition, uh, just your ambition uh to connect with nature in in whichever little form you can uh in Jesus' name. Take a lot of water, our bodies, our license to be here on earth, and purpose to be a blessing to someone today, and to the one that cannot pay you back. Say Amen, amen to that. And now, with that, we go in to dive into our lessons for today, which is huge, huge, huge, huge, huge. But from

Self-Mastery Recap Discipline And Control

SPEAKER_00

before we do that, let's look at what we have covered so far. Um, we finished um, you know, day nine, um, you know, day 20, day 20 with our self-mastery. We saw the importance of self-control and self-discipline. These are two very powerful weapons that help us uh to accomplish, to live on purpose, self-control, to manage our emotions. We're not denying they are there. They all come and our ability to manage those emotions and do what is right. We're not doing something based on what we feel. No, no, we do the right thing. We're able to control those emotions and do the right thing. And then discipline, uh, which is basically the ability to give yourself a command and you obey it. When you have self-control and you have self-discipline, you become a weapon that's unstoppable. And help us. If you didn't participate, go listen again and again, again. Uh, we talked about perfect day meditation. Who am I not? These are all things that we have covered in the last last three weeks. And

Wealth Lesson And Luke 16 Setup

SPEAKER_00

today we dive in into a new, very, very important lesson, and that is wealth. Wealth and money, wealth and money, wealth and money. This is it. A lot of a lot of people um you know are impacted by this subject of wealth and money. And we pray that God is going to help us today. So we just throw a little bit of wisdom into it this morning, and I pray that the Lord is going to help us. But this is this is huge. If we get this thing right, it's powerful. If we get it wrong, it is powerful. So I pray that somehow something is to be built, a new faith is going to be built around money. And we find this in Luke chapter 16. Verses 1 to 15, it talks about Jesus and giving this parable. Um, Jesus told his disciples there was a rich man whose manager was accused of wasting his possessions. So he called him and asked him, What is this I hear about you? Give an account of your management because you cannot be manager any longer. You can read it, it's there on your screen. I encourage you to go and read because we don't have time. We've got to jump. And I want us to go to uh verse um 8. Said the master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light. I tell you, use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves, so that when it is gone, you'll be welcomed into eternal dwelling. And then first then, which is what we are going to use for our lesson today, it says, whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much. And whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else's property, who else will give you the property of your own? You know, who else? Who else? Who else is uh who else will give you the property of your own? This is a fundamental issue when it comes to wealth and money. And I want to say a few things as we drill down to this very, very important subject.

Unhealthy Money Relationships And Fear

SPEAKER_00

And I want to start by saying most people are affected by money. We get affected by money. Either we have too little, we have too much, we are afraid. You know, some of us have too little, so we need more. And maybe as part of our miracles, that's one of the things we have listed there, because we need we have too little, we need more. Then we have people that have an issue because they have too much of it, and we have seen that happening. Then we have others who are afraid. We are afraid of money. We don't, you know, we have at this you know, fear of money. The others who are frustrated by money, you know, just brings unnecessary frustration and and and friction. And so we can say is we are people can have an unhealthy relationship with money. And I don't know where you stand today, which part of this um is is is is it represents you. An unhealthy relationship with money. Money is an issue, it's a big issue for many, many people in our town, in our country, you know, it's a big, big issue. I would say it's one of the biggest, biggest issues and causes of the fighting that you are seeing in our nation. Uh, people are fighting for this money. And so, this is a very important uh topic that we want to cover here today. So, I want to say that one thing that we need to know is that um if you look at trees that are planted out there, if you look over the window into your garden, you'll just see trees flourishing. They just flourish by nature, and human beings don't flourish by nature because we are out of the flow. When we fell in the Garden of Eden, there's a there's a disconnect that happened, and so we are not naturally in the flow, we are outside the flow. A tree out there will just flow. You give it water, you give it nutrients, the tree will just flourish, it will just just give as much fruit as it can. Human beings, however, we don't flourish naturally because we are outside of the flow. However, from that creation, God created us. He wanted us to be in the flow. That means wealth is supposed to be natural. That means we are wealthy by nature. And maybe that is one of the um mantras that you need to start embracing when you wake up every morning and say, Hey, by the way, I'm wealthy by nature. Just the same way that trees out there uh flourish. Um we are wealthy by nature. That's that's that's God's divine plant. When he created us in the in the Garden of Eden, he put us there to flourish. And so wealthy, wealth is embedded, it's part of us. We are wealthy by nature. However, um we uh we tend to be out of the floor. We are not when we are out of that floor, because money is money is like an wealth is like an energy, it's flow, it's like light, it's flowing, it's it's flowing throughout. But if you're out of the floor, you you don't receive it because you are you are disconnected. So I'm hoping that today's lesson will put us back on the floor so that you start attracting wealth and money naturally without you having to struggle. I pray that that this will help us, this lesson will help us to get back to the floor uh in Jesus' name. Um, so number two, uh, so that's point number one that we are wealthy by nature, but as human beings, we tend to be disconnected from the

Entering The Money Zone

SPEAKER_00

floor. And now we pray that this lesson will bring us back so that we are in that flow. That flow. Uh, number two, there's what we call a money zone. For you to get back into the flow, you need to live in the money zone. There's a zone, and I'm trying to figure out a good way uh to say this. Uh, so you can be attractive to money or you can chase money away. And I pray that this lesson is going to help us so that you don't chase money away. You begin to attract money into your life. So it's a money zone that we need to do. And for you to get into that money zone, you need to have an a very healthy relationship. A very healthy relationship with money. Uh, maybe the best way to describe it is maybe those of us here, it's been a while now, maybe those of us who are married, but you remember when you when you maybe you got you got to you met your wife or your she was your girlfriend at that time, and you were maybe you you arranged the first meeting to go and meet her, and you are trying to build a relationship with her to so that you can reach a point where you can be able to propose and say, you know, would I marry you or something like that? Those first days when you went for that meeting, and you can picture where you are. Maybe some of you are young, are going through that now. When you went for that first meeting with your potential would be girlfriend or would be wife, you were so conscious about what you said. You sit down in the table and you are talking, you are throwing words, and you are you are monitoring, you are you this uh there's a there's a flaw that you are trying to build. You want to not say too much, and then she runs away. Because you know she can she may never come again to see you. So you are so careful that you don't say too much, you you are not to say what's appropriate because you want her to keep coming. You want when you meet her, can we meet again? She comes. You want to build that relationship so that she can, you know, she can she can continue coming. I'm not sure that's a good explanation, but you you there's an appropriate um rhythm that you need to have so that that flow can continue. You are very careful what you do, what you say, you're even careful how you dressed, how you carried yourself in that meeting, because you are trying to build a healthy relationship so that if next time you can continue communicating and you want to come again for the next meeting and the next meeting at the next meeting and the next meeting. And brethren, it is almost the same thing with money. You need to have a very good balance, a healthy relationship so that money can keep flowing through you. You need to have an and for that, you need to have an appropriate appreciation and respect for money so that you you can be in the flow, so there's no tension, there's no excessive emotion with money. It's a it's a it's a very nice balance. And you know, I'm using this word, but these are the things that you then need to do to live in that money zone, so that you know, there's a that nice balance between you and money. Hallelujah. So we need to be in the money zone. That's what I basically say, which is our point number two. And some of us we are disconnected. The relationship is not healthy. When we get money, we do things that we chase it away. We chase it away and never comes back. Just the same way that you can meet your girlfriend on the first day and you say something and she's gone. What happened? No, I don't know. This man, no, I don't want anything to do with this man again or this girl, whatever it is. It can also be the girl and the man anyway. But there are things that we do that pays money away. And so you want to make sure that you've got that nice balance so that money you stay in that money zone. I pray that that you get a revelation of what I'm trying to put across here. Live in the money zone.

Is Wanting Money Actually Wrong

SPEAKER_00

Number three, which I think is important, is it right? These are fundamental things for you to attract wealth and money. Is it right? Is it bad to desire money? Yeah? Is it is it bad to desire money? If you looked at our one-on-one desires that we wrote in the in the beginning of this challenge, all those desires that you there, how many can be solved by money? If you go and look, you'll find they are quite a number. So to desire money is not wrong. And because we need money to take care of your own needs, you need money to be independent of others. We don't nobody wants to be dependent on somebody. You want to be independent. What brings independence is you having money. It makes you independent. There are a lot of those desires that we have there, the annual and one, many of those desires, whether it is home and taking care of your family and your children, paying the school fees, paying the rent, uh, taking care of medical needs and helping people, you know, all those things can be solved by money. And so it is okay to desire money. It's not immoral to desire to have enough. And I want to put that word, it's not immoral to desire to have enough, enough money to be able to contribute to the society. You know, like now as in Krem, today we begin our construction of the Krem Center uh for a multi-purpose hall. We begin today. We need money um to be able to do that. We've just been talking to the contractor yesterday that to agree on how much he's going to charge us to preside over that face of that building until it's roofed. And we begin today. We need money. A lot of a lot of we need a lot of money, and that money has to come from you know from us. Um, so we need money to contribute to the society, we need money to help those who are who we are responsible for, our family, our parents, our children, taking care of those things. So it is okay to desire money. And it's important also to have that good understanding. Is it right? The answer is yes. Again, remember, you cannot get that which you criticize, you cannot have to get that which you fear. So it's important to know that it's God's design or desire for you to have enough. To have enough. It's not immoral to have money. Amen. Number four, um, self-actualization and money. Uh, we've been talking about the abundance mentality. Uh, every morning we read about the dewonomy who have been challenging us to live from a position of abundance so you can be able to help the needy, help the poor. And so I want to start by saying that having enough to help your family, to help your ministry, to help the church, to help those around you is absolutely okay. And it's part of that discussion of self-maturizing where you say you want to live the best possible version of yourself. You know, money is up there in terms of the things that we need to be able to help uh those around us. Um, we need to be a contributor. When you talk about a bandless mentality, we need to be a contributor. It's like the example of the tree again. You never see a tree saying, I just want enough mangoes. Um, you know, I just want enough mangoes just to pass by. You know, a tree, a mango tree just gives mango. It gives, you know, as much as it can, as much as it's possible. That is the same mentality that we need to, uh, we need to be able to have. Um, what is bad about money, and maybe we'll talk about that also briefly, is when you begin to put comparison. I want to have more than another person. For what? You need to just desire to have enough to take care of yourself and to help those around you. It should never be a competition. I want to be the richest person here, I want to be this, I want to be that. The moment you start going there, you're heading in the wrong direction. You don't need to have any comparison or have more than another person, you know, better than the other one. That is the ego now. When you start wanting, oh, I want to be the richest person in town, I want to be the, you know, the when you go that route, you're heading the wrong direction. You never see a mango tree saying, Oh, I want to beat that other mango tree there. I want to give more than them. No, just the mango tree will just flourish, it will give as much fruit as it can. The orange tree will do the same thing. The guava tree across the road will do the same thing, the purple tree will do the same thing. You never they don't compete with any other, you just give the best that you can. So um, it is important for us to understand that um we there's there need to be no competition. Remember, you make money through serving. Serve people, make money. That's how money is made, is made through serving people. Um, and you know that's another story for another day. But we want to be as as successful as we can be. We don't want to be comparing ourselves with any other person, just be as successful as you can be. Amen. That is the abundance mentality, uh, self-organization, and and money. Number five, uh, again, uh we are building on this

The Lie That More Money Equals Joy

SPEAKER_00

on money. It's important to add meaning to money for motivation. In the parable of the of the sower, which we don't have time to read, Jesus gives that example and he says, um, he talks about the um the deceitfulness of wealth and the chaos of this world. Um, in that parable. Um, and and he's saying basically that um he talks about seeds getting chalked, weeds that come in and chalk, and talks about the reason why we get that chalk is because of this the deceitfulness of wealth and the chaos of this world. What did he really mean, which I think is very important? Deceitfulness is when we think that money will make us happy. That is the deceitfulness of wealth. When you think, oh, if I get money, I would be happy. Not at all. Or you feel if you get money, you could feel better. No, money beyond what you need does not make you happy. It does not make you money. Once you go past the need that you have, money does not make you happy. And the deceitfulness of all this that thinking that if only I get more and I get more and I get more, I'm going to be happy and happy and happy. And it's never money beyond your basic need will never make you happy. And it's important to um, you know, to settle that. Past necessity money does not make you happy. Fast necessity. Once you just cross what you need, having more will never make you happy, and that is what is called the deceitfulness of wealth, and that's what Jesus was correcting us. That's why people win the lottery and they are miserable. In fact, there's a survey that has been done globally of people uh who are happy, and every time that survey has been done, people who are disabled, they have no limbs, legs, nothing. We call them something. People who are basically handicapped. They rank high up there in terms of happiness than people who have won the lottery. They are the most, they are happier than people who have won the lottery. Why is that the case? Because money beyond what is necessary does not make you happy. That's the what's called the deceitfulness of wealth. And many of us, we you know, people get trapped in that cycle, chasing money and thinking, if I only have more, if I only want more, if I only have more, I'll be happy and happy. And you go around that cycle until we put you in the grave. And you look back, what did you accomplish? You spend the entire life chasing money, thinking it will make you happy, and it doesn't. Money beyond what is necessary to help yourself and help those around you does not make you happy. Amen. So it's good to to just um you know um you know settle uh settle that um the the the cares of this world. Um, you know. So basically, what I'm saying is that we need to make sure that we have um we add meaning to um money um so that we have a real an Correct motivation. What's motivating you? Sama Amen. Then, number six, which again is a key thing for us in this whole subject of money, is prosperity purpose.

Prosperity Purpose And The Banking Test

SPEAKER_00

We'll be talking about living on purpose. Um, what are you why why do you need money? It's important to answer that question. Remember, I'm talking about the things that make sure that you are in the money zone, the things that ensure that money is flowing through you. These are fundamental things. If you answer all these things, you'll be in the flow of money and wealth. What is your purpose? You know, what if you have money? What's it going to be beyond your basic need? Why do you need the money? And do you want to maybe feed the starving? Do you want to, for example, yeah in Krem, you know, you give us money, we know exactly where we're going to take it. We'll be out there on the mission field. We spend money in the mission, we help people, we are, you know, putting up this facility to help people. We know exactly what no money comes into our hands that we don't know where it is going. We have a clear purpose for money and resources. It comes, we know it's where it's going. Um, and so it's the same thing for you as a person. You need to craft a good reason for the money. I'm a banker by profession. And when it comes to banking and finance, when you come to the bank and you knock, and I'm sure most of you have gone through that, and you tell the bank, I need some money, I want a loan. Would you lend us some money? The first thing of the first rule of banking and lending, as we call it, we ask you, what is the purpose? What is the money for? What do you need for? What are you going to do with it? You're asking us, it's your money, but with the far we are interested in knowing what is the purpose of the loan. It's number one. The rest is now details. Once we know, yeah, so I need the money because I want to put up my home and put up my family home. We need the money because we have now putting a multi-purpose hall. We need the money because we are going for a mission here. We need the money because we want to construct this. We want to know the purpose for the money. That's number one. If we are not convinced about the purpose, you don't get the money. Even if you are qualified, we will not give you the money. We want to know what is the money for. Is it working capital? Do you want to invest in new machinery? Do I want to uh maybe expand the business? Uh open new branches. And we need to be convinced about the purpose of the money that you are borrowing. Then you may ask asking a few things now. Give us this, give us that, give us that. But the number one reason why we give you money is because we are convinced about the reason for the money. And you know, in the spiritual realm, I realize it's the same. But what's no, what do you need the money for? What is it? Do you want do you just want the money to so you can go home and show that the daughter of so-and-so arrived? Or that you, you know, you thought our family will you know, we show off and get the new car in town and and drive past us and you know, another guy. I want to get that car and time it during the rainy season. I want to drive past and throw water on people. I want them to feel how I felt when I never had a car and they were throwing water on me. Is that motivation? Is that motivation for it? What is it? What is the money for? I think it's important in the spiritual realm for you to make sure that you are purpose for money. Once that purpose is clear, God begins to release things. And that's why this goes along the same line as our desires. We are so desire decoding, where we decoded our desires to make sure they aligned with God's will. Because once then now those desires are aligned, then you have a purpose, bang. You are now in the flow, and God begins to send resources to you. So you need to craft a good reason for why you need money. And part of you in this 30-day challenge, we need to track that. If we if God was to give you money, what will you do with it? What is it for? What would you do with it? If you have no clarity around that, you may not get a breakthrough. And I pray that this is going to help us. Brethren, purpose. What is it for? If God opened the floodgates of heaven and gave you the money today, what do you do with it? Are you clear above the purpose? Maybe that's where you direct your prayers. Because once that purpose is clear, then God begins to fund it, become a channel, deliver wealth and purpose and resources in that direction. Say my amen. And finally, are you a good steward?

Stewardship Time Talent Treasure Investing

SPEAKER_00

Are you a good steward? We've talked about that with you know in the scripture. We have read that him that can be trusted with little and can be trusted more. If you can be trusted to take care of somebody else's property, God will trust you with one of your own. When it comes to money, one of the key things is stewardship. You need to understand that money is not yours. Your money is not owned. Just like your body, your body is not yours, it's not yours, it's with you for a season. It's been given to you, it's a tent that you live in, and after some time, this body will decay, you will go. It is up, you have been given to take care of it. That's why you know in our beginning, you hear saying take care of your body, it is your license to be here on earth. It's something you have been given to you. So, what do you do with it? You take care of it. So, money is not owned, it is not yours, it is with you for a season. So, you need to make sure that you enjoy the season, number one, and then be a good steward. And if you can be a good steward of what is given to you, then it will grow. It should not be part of you. Don't make don't be don't let the money define you. You are a steward, it's not yours. So hold on to it lightly, enjoy it, and most important, be a good steward. And this is the this is the law of multiplication. If you are not a good steward of money, it will run away from you. What do we mean by that? And the scripture here we have read covers that. In fact, this is maybe the most fundamental thing. Are you a good steward? Stewardship talks about three things when you look about time, talent, and treasure. Time, talent, and three T's. We are to be good stewards of time, good stewards of talent, and good stewards of treasure, which is money, the third T. T, T T. Time, talent, treasure. How you handle, how the how you manage those three T's determines how far you go in your life. And specifically on the last T, which is treasure. That means how do you manage it? How do you manage the money that God has given unto you? Yeah, how do you spend it? When it's in your account, how do you spend it? The decisions you are making, the prioritization, how do you manage it? Are you a good steward? Are you faithful? Because if you're not faithful with little, you can never be trusted with more or with much. So, how do you spend it? How do you invest it while it is in you for a season? Are you investing? Are you a good manager? Are you wasting it? You have people you have had people say, I don't know where my money went. I got the money. I don't know the money, my money is gone. I don't know where it went. I know that you have had those moments, or you have people say, Oh my god, I'm getting my money. I don't know where it's going. Are you a good investor? Are you a good manager? Are you wasting it? Are you faithful? Are you um obedient in how you manage it? Are you are you giving it back? And all we've talked about, so many things here about about those, you know, um managing. Maybe we go to we can go double click and do more. Try what exactly do you mean by management? Investing. What do we mean by investing? That means whatever comes into your way, it must you must find out we're doubling it, making it more. Don't be a consumer, don't take everything. Don't take everything, invest. Invest in yourself, invest in God. When you have to say, yeah, you know, give 10% or a portion of your salary to God. And that's an investment. It's an investment. How will the kingdom of God expand? How will the churches be built? How will the ministries move? If we Christians are not investing there, I've been challenged a lot by the Muslim world. You never see them doing fundraising for mosques. Never. Something needs to be done, they are there because there are people who are willing to invest in God's kingdom. Are you a good investor? Because the kingdom of God, the church is a good investment place. Besides your other investments that you invest to make double that money, if you can handle this, if you can be a good steward, money will keep flowing through you. You'll be in the money zone. Wealth and money will be your portion. Are you a good steward? We don't have time. Uh think we are going to pack it. I think we have another lesson tomorrow also on money. I think um I'll check in the next. I don't have the mind, you know, the uh the the the this the the the booklet uh here on on tomorrow's topic. But I think there's another topic or so on money. We'll double-click on that. And maybe not tomorrow, maybe in the course of the week. But I know there are two other sessions that we have on money because we wanted to spend more time on this, it's important, it's huge. The church needs this uh because the church has been struggling, because we don't understand money, we're out of the money zone, we have no flaw, and I pray that's going

Reflection Exercise And Closing

SPEAKER_00

to help us. These are just small things I put there, but in the exercise today, uh, what has been your past relationship with money? Is it frustration, fear? And if you ask the question, why you should be entrusted with wealth and abundance, why do you think God should trust you today with money? What did you do with it? You have clarity? Have you been faithful with what you have? Today, it's exercise. Ponder over that. And I think as we double click in the few days to come, the other lessons that are ahead of us, maybe this will become more clearer and we shall be blessed.
