Strength Through Christ

SPEAKER_01

He means it. And brothers and sisters, we can borrow from that. Even as this morning we can stand not because of our own strength, but because of Christ who strengthens us. And this morning, be encouraged in that difficult challenge that is in front of you, in that issue that you are dealing with. May the Lord Jesus Christ strengthen you. Just the way Saint Paul went through those persecutions, he went through shipwreck. He says he was in the danger of the seas, in the land, bandits, even from false brothers, there are many things that he went through. And he declares in Philippians, I can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthenens me. And I pray this morning, even you, whatever season of your life you are in, may the Lord strengthen you. May the Lord strengthen you in your family. May the Lord strengthen you in that job. May the Lord strengthen you in that season, in that, you know, with your family, in that place, that idea, that thing that you are trying to do, may the Lord strengthen you. So that you can be able to say, like Paul, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Then I'm living on purpose. I am on schedule. Say amen to that. Hallelujah. Our key truth this morning we declare them

Letting Go To Gain Power

SPEAKER_01

again. Power in the physical world is measured by how much you can lift up. That's how the world operates. But in the spiritual world, power is measured by how much you can let go. And we continue to say this morning challenge every day. We are learning new things. Yesterday we were learning things about money and wealth, challenging our beliefs, some of the concepts that we've had about money, our relationship we've had with money. And you know what? We are being challenged to let go of some of our unhealthy, unhealthy habits when it comes to money, so that we can be able to receive the new. Because the more we can let go, the more powerful we become. I pray that this is going to be your portion this morning in Jesus' name. The abandoned mentality, very topical, even today, as we dive in into part two of money and wealth and the path to financial freedom. I think the abandonance mentality is so real here. It says in Deuteronomy 15:10, give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart. Then, because of this, the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to. There's nothing, brethren, that is powerful than to be generous. And more so without a grudging heart. And that's going to be really the subject of our meeting of our of our teaching today. We're going to go deeper into it. Um, just being generous and how much uh it unlocks in this world and how this is a hidden thing, how the enemy hides very, very, very simple things from us so that we can struggle. And generosity, I believe, is one of the most most hidden things that the enemy likes to hide, um, you know, our you know, from our our eyes, our spiritual eyes, and because of that we struggle, and uh in a way that we shouldn't be struggling at all. Anyway, let me not get over my seal, we'll talk about it in depth today. Generosity. Keep us for this challenge, Matthew 6.33. But seek fast his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6.33, saying, Let's seek his kingdom. Let that be our desire. Let's never be stopped seeking him. Seeking him, you know, when you are seeking him, it's a very positive word. It means you are intentional about it. You are intentional, you are deliberate. Everything you're doing, you are deliberate about it. You are seeking God, you are out there seeking him, and either through prayer, the reading of his word, serving him, and

Generosity And Seeking God First

SPEAKER_01

serving his people, and being out there is a very positive word. And the Bible says, when we seek him and his righteousness, says all these other things will be given to us as well. And in 1 Corinthians 2 9 says, what no eye has seen, and what no ears are, what no human mind has conceived, the things God has prepared to those who love him. Hallelujah. The key to the and the extraordinary, loving God, loving him, really coming to that place where you fall in love with him every single day. And he says, when we are truly loving him, he says, the things that he has planned for us, no eye has ever seen, no ears had, and even no mind has conceived. It may be going to blow us up, it's going to do extraordinary things in our lives if we continue to love him. Say amen to that. How we pray this 30-day challenge, brethren, will grow us closer to God than ever before. There'll be an experience, and I believe that you're already experiencing that. The awesome presence of God has been with us every morning. And it's going to transform us, it's going to usher us into a completely new relationship, a new level of relationship with him, that we'll love him, we'll fall in love again and again and again. Um, for that's the best place to be in. And he promises that he'll do extraordinary things in our lives. Say amen. And lastly, 1 Samuel 10, 6 to 10 says, if there's the spirit of the Lord who come powerfully upon you, and you'll prophesy with them, and you will be changed into a different person. Brethren, the spirit of God is the differentiator. People can affect things, people can affect Christianity, they can do religion, they can do many things. That's why there's so much religion around here. There's no shortage of religion in this world. New religions are being born every day. But let me tell you, the difference is the spirit of God. But the Bible says where the spirit of God is, there is liberty. And this is the one thing you cannot fake. You can fake anything else. You can fake, you can come into a meeting and you can meet under whatever name, but you can never fake the spirit of God. And the spirit of God is the unifier. That's why you can uh once you are filled with the spirit of God, you can go anywhere. You can go into any meeting where there are people of God and you flow. You wouldn't even care what denomination they are. The Holy Spirit is the unifier, is the common denominator across all religions. Anybody that worships God, the Spirit of God is the unifier. And that's why you can be in any meeting. As long as it is the Spirit of God is there, you'll flow. You feel at home. It is the, you know, in maybe I'm not sure that's a very good example. But we in in our where where we come from, we used to have clans. We we belong to a clan. Um, and when you belong to a clan, that the by virtue of you being born in that clan, you you are recognized. You could go anywhere. When you are traveling, anywhere you go and you say, Hey, any clansmen, and you would be, they would welcome you. As long as you are from that clan, anywhere you traveled. I know now it's become a bit difficult because of insecurity and all that. But in those days when you are growing up, if you belong to a

The Holy Spirit As Unifier

SPEAKER_01

particular clan, you would be, you could go anywhere. And all you needed to know are you a Mumute, yes? Okay, I'll get on to you're welcome here. They'll give you food, they'll give you shelter. As long as you belong to that clan, you are welcome everywhere. Everywhere. Use a common denominator because you belong to that clan. And if something happened to you those days, the clan would actually come together and they'll bail you out. You did something and you are fined. Sometimes you could be fine, 100 cows, and the clan will come, and each one of them will give something to bail you out because you belong to that clan. Brethren, the Holy Spirit of God is our common denominator. And anywhere we go, you'll always be welcome. You always feel at home. As long as the Spirit of God is there, you'll be welcome. And he's the common denominator. And I pray these 30 days, brethren, we'll get closer to him. That's that we'll go, we'll get to know the spirit of God more and more. And this time, the Lord is desiring to use Saul, he brings him to an encounter with Samuel. And Samuel tells him, You know, you're going to become the king of Israel, but you cannot do this without the Spirit of God. And the Bible says he told him the prophet, the Spirit of God will come powerfully upon him. It's going to change him. In verse 9, he says, as Saul turned to leave Samuel, God changed Saul's heart. And all these things, signs we are fulfilled. The Spirit of God came powerfully upon him, and he joined in their prophesying. Brethren, we pray this morning as we journey together these 30 days, that the Spirit of God, our unifier, will draw us closer to him. We'll know him. We'll, you know, the Spirit of God helps us to worship, He helps us to live righteously, he helps us to serve, he's the unifier. He's everything. And I we are praying that these 30 days will bring us so closer to him. The glory and honor of his name. And most important is changes as every day. Spirit of God will continuously change us. That's how he changed soul. He became a different person, and he was able to be used of God as a first king of Israel. Amen. Let's

Daily Disciplines For Growth

SPEAKER_01

remind ourselves of our health discipline. So we have time is going and we have a lot to cover today. But spend time, connect with nature. You know, some of these things we say, yeah, they look very small, they look so small, but they are powerful. Find time, connect with nature if you can. I know we are living in the city, some of us, surrounded by all these big walls and these big buildings and all these things. But find yourself and be delivered and connect with nature. Go outside, sit under tree, look at the sky. Somewhere, find if you can. And if you don't during the week, over the weekend, find some time and go out there and connect with nature. There's something that happens when you detach yourself from this world and you are connected to nature and freeze and whatever, just enjoying that presence. There's something that God does to us. Then take care of ourselves, it's a call of water. Let's take care of our bodies, there are license to be here on earth. We are supposed to be good stewards, and we talk about that today. And of course, purpose will be a blessing to someone today, and especially people that cannot pay you back. When it comes to being a blessing, purpose will be a blessing to people that can never pay you back. It's very easy to be a blessing to somebody because tomorrow, you know, scratch my back, I scratch yours. But here we are challenged. It's such a special thing, it's a special grace that the God releases to us. Say amen to that. Wonderful, wonderful.

What Financial Freedom Really Takes

SPEAKER_01

Let's dive into today's uh teachings. Oh my god, it's 22 minutes have gone. But how we are getting something this morning. Uh, this is what we have covered so far. 20 topics. Yesterday we covered money and wealth. These are all things we have covered, they're all recorded there for you. So if you missed one of them, please go over and over again. Share those recordings with as many people as you can. You never know the power of sharing something with someone. But today I want us to dive in into wealth and money part two, the path to financial freedom. The path to financial freedom. I pray that we'll get something today. Financial freedom is something that a lot of us aspire. I have not met of anybody who is who is not keen on being financially free. That means reaching a point in your life where you have what it takes to run your life, the way you want to run it without strain. It is something that we all aspire to. And I pray that today we shall be able to get a few lessons here that we can put into practice uh as we desire to reach, to achieve, or to live in a place of financial freedom in Jesus' name. So, first of all, we we say that David, before he became king, he was several years in the desert, handed by King Saul. Um, so we see King David was one of the most successful kings. But before he could become king, there were a lot of things that he had to go through to become the success that he was. And sometimes we can forget that. We see the King David, we see him winning battles, we see him being one of the greatest leaders. But before he could become king, there are several things that he had to go through. And brethren, for us to be successful, uh, there are several things that we need to do to be successful. Success is like an iceberg. An iceberg, so if you have studied um geography and you looked at the North Pole and South Pole where there's a lot of ice or in the oceans where it's cold, you have this huge mountains of ice that is normally on the sea, and you'll see a small part of ice protruding, and you would think that what you are seeing is the only thing. But under the eye, under what you are seeing is normally a huge mountain. And most of you remember this the ship Titanic, which was the biggest ship that had been built, and people were saying it could never sink. But the Titanic sank within minutes of hitting an iceberg. What looked small on the top was so huge under, and this ocean liner hit this iceberg and went down. Everybody was saying it could never sink, it went down in a very short time. Success is like an iceberg. What you see at the top is not what's at the bottom. What it takes is not what you see. So there's a lot of things that they're successful, do. Those who have achieved financial freedom, those who have been successful, there are a lot of things they do. And I pray that today we shall get a little bit of some of those things. Success is like a huge baobab tree. Those of you who know baobab trees are huge. If you go to the Kambani area, especially in the Kibuese area, there are many baobab trees. But the baobab tree will be very small out there, but under it, it's huge roots, huge roots. That's a hole in that huge tree here. And so today we can look at what these successful people do and what they are not, what they are doing. And I believe if we do, then we can also be uh successful. If you are doing them, you need to be patient. Again, success does not come in one day. You need to be patient. Uh, you need to understand that fruit is not grown overnight. For you to harvest a fruit, you have to plant, and you have to be patient until that tree begins to fruit and you get it. So, some some some of us want us to grow overnight. It doesn't work like that. You need to be patient. Uh, when it comes to um success, and especially with finances, you need to be patient. There's a time for planting and there's a time for harvesting. Um, those who have been successful understand that fruit is not grown overnight. It's going to take a lot of patience. And the other thing that also they understand, those who have been successful and able to generate financial freedom, they took responsibility for improving their personal world. What do I mean by this? They understood that it is up to them. It is up to me. It is me and me alone that's responsible for the outcome of my life, the outcome of my finances. The state of your finances today is you. Don't blame other people. Because then naturally we want to blame people and say, oh man, if I had this, if I had a job like so and so, if I had this, I had this, I would be different.

unknown

No.

SPEAKER_01

It is you need to take responsibility for improving your own personal world. You say it's me. It's dependent on me and me alone. And all I need is myself, I need God, and I'm a function of myself. So again, it's important to understand that it's in your power to make the right decisions. You can steer your life in whichever direction you want to, it's in your hands. It's not in anybody's hand. Don't blame your spouse, don't blame your husband, your wife, don't blame your family, don't blame your country, don't blame the economy. No, no, no. It's in your hands. I need to take responsibility for improving my life. Number three, those who have been successful also understood that they took more steps in the right direction. And we've talked about it here in the last 30 days, that uh a mind, um, a shift in mindset, a change in thinking. When you begin to take small steps but in the right direction, you'll end up exactly in the right place. Small steps, but in the right direction. They will take you to a successful place. And we pray these 30 days, somehow, we're going to begin to do some small steps in the right direction, and you'll be amazed at how it will gain momentum, and you find yourself financially free and actually enjoying um financial freedom and many other things in Jesus'

Rich Generosity From 2 Corinthians

SPEAKER_01

name. Let's base our um our teaching today on 2 Corinthians chapter 8, 1 to 5. And this is Paul uh writing to the Corinthian uh to the right to the Corinthian church, and in verse 8 he says, and now, brothers and sisters, who are these brothers and sisters? This is the Corinthian church is writing to them. We want you to know about the grace that God has given the Macedonian churches. Uh, in the midst of a very severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty well up in rich generosity. For I testify that they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability, entirely on their own. They urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in this service to the Lord's people, and they exceeded our expectations. They gave themselves first of all to the Lord, and then by the will of God also to us. Brethren, Paul, writing the Corinthians here, introduces a very powerful principle for financial freedom, and that is the principle of generosity. We're talking about it, a balance mentality, and we can underestimate the power of a generous heart. Paul is right to the Corinthian church, and he he began to testify to boast about the Macedonian church. This church was going through a lot of trials, but it says, despite the trials that they were going through, despite the pain they were going through, despite the challenges that they were going through, he said they are overflowing joy, and in their extreme poverty, it well up in something Paul describes rich generosity. And this is Paul testifying to the Corinthians about the Macedonian church, and he says they gave as much as they were able, even beyond their ability. So there was something about the Macedonian church and how they responded to Paul's ministry, how responded to what needed to be done, and he says, one, they gave as much as they were able to do, even beyond their ability. When Paul looked at their what they were doing and what they were able to give, he said, This is beyond your ability, and it was generosity, and it was entirely on their own. They did not need to be pushed by anybody, or any it was completely out of their own. But what I like most is how they they were responding. He said they urgently pleaded with Paul for the privilege of sharing in this service to the lost people. They were telling Paul, please, Paul, allow us. We want to be part of this, we want to be part of this ministry. They pleaded with the with they pleaded with Paul. They considered it a privilege to serve or to be of service to God's people. Brethren, when you when your generosity reaches there where you begin to see it as a privilege to serve your people, to serve your family, to serve your nation, to serve the church, to serve God's people, you look at it as a huge and a rare privilege. Um, you are on your way to something big in God's hands. And this is what Paul testifies about the Macedonian church. Now, when you move forward there in 2 Corinthians chapter 9, now Paul begins to now challenge the Corinthians. Again, the same thing around generosity here. He says, and there's no need for me to write to you about the service of the Lord's people. Again, he's talking about the service of the Lord's people because serving God is serving people. He says, For I know your eagerness to help. And I've been boasting about it to the Macedonians. Now, as Paul has now been telling the Macedonian church about the Corinthian church, telling them that since last year, you in Achaia were ready to give. And your enthusiasm has stirred most of them to action. So the Corinthian church encouraged the Macedonian church. And the Macedonian church now is being encouraging the Corinthian church. But he says, I'm sending the brothers in order that our boasting about you in this matter should not prove hollow, but that you may be ready, as I said, you would be. For if the Macedonians come with me and find you and prepared, we not say anything about you, will be ashamed of having been so convenient. So I thought it necessary to urge the brothers to visit you in advance and finish the arrangement for the generous gift you had promised. Then it will be ready as a generous gift, not as one grudgingly given. I want you to notice that what everywhere where there's generosity, the word grudgingly keeps coming. Even in Deuteronomy, where we have been reading every morning, says when you are coming to bless the poor, make sure you don't do it grudgingly. Here again, Paul is saying, No, we want to make sure that generosity, be generous and not grudgingly. And then now, first six, Paul says, Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly under compassion, for God loves a cheerful giver. There are some things that God loves. One of the things that God loves are people that are cheerful givers. Brethren,

The Seed Principle And Testimony

SPEAKER_01

one of the biggest, mightiest keys to experiencing financial freedom is living a life of generosity. Is understanding the law of giving, the law of sowing, the law of generosity. And there are many things we can share with us here. You know, there I was thinking about, and maybe I should I should give this testimony. Oh my god, there's no time here. But what I should when I started, right just when I finished college or something like that, and before I could even get a permanent job, I got um temporary job. I was working somewhere, and I was not earning a lot of money. I was like consulting or something like that, waiting, looking, looking for work. I was being paid a little 6,000 shillings, 6,000 shillings. And then we got to church on Sunday, and after the service, these two ladies walked over to me. The the these two ladies, the father had passed away, and um them leaving the mother, uh, a widow, and and the father was a pastor. As they came to me after the service, and they said, we don't know why we've been, we felt we should come and share with you this. But my father, our father passed away, and he left a house, he was building a house for my mom, for our mom, and the house was not finished. It was remaining to be roofed. And he passed away with and the house was left without a roof. And we we were feeling these were two sisters, and we thought that we'd approach you to see if you can help us uh do the roof. You know, I stood there and I'm like, I looked at these two ladies, and I I felt, oh, I said, yeah, it's fine. How much do you do you need? I think those days um iron sheet was it was very cheap. It was actually not much. But bottom line is that without thinking and without hesitation, I decided that I was going to help them. And the money that I got, that salary, whatever it was, I gave it all. I think I was left with just fair to go to work. And I gave those ladies, and they went, they roofed that house for their father. I was thinking about the other that thing. I you know, I I didn't even think twice about it. I just started working, my own mother didn't have a house, I was like, what what now? I was just reflecting on that. No, no, I know why these ladies came to me. Why and I, but what and what's what's what encouraged? I didn't even think twice about it completely. I didn't think about it, I didn't ask myself about do I have a house myself? I didn't have a house, my mother didn't have a house myself. I was in absolute poverty, whatever it is. But I just I just yeah, if you need just felt like the right thing to do. No, brethren, I'm talking about generosity. I believe the world of the generals will keep expanding and expanding and expanding, and there's no better key. If you want to get how to find your freedom, you need to begin to make a decision to live from a place of generosity. Um, Miles Monroe is a great one of the greatest teachers, and men I respect a lot, talked about that. Um, and one thing to know about generosity is that you always get more from a single seed. Um, you know, that that seed that you plant is maybe a little, a little seed, one seed, but what you get from that seed is amazing. And this is how God works. The God's supernatural provision, you you you give something that looks so small to you, that looks maybe maybe look big to you, but the results of it will be multiplication. And you must keep planting. A farmer knows that just because this season has failed does not mean he does not plant again. So keep planting. Not for one week, not for one month, but continuous. Planting is continuous. You never see farmers who give up. They say, Oh, the last season failed. No, you need to go to um, you know, the farming places, even anywhere where we are. We keep the season comes, we plant and plant again. We never stop planting. Um, because generosity demonstrates trust in God's provision. When you are generous, it's it's it generates total trust in God's provision and it sets the spiritual and practical laws of increase in motion. It unlocks the laws of increase, the laws of it sets in motion, and and so you have to be waiting to release. I was like, how did I give this help? This it's my first two months in work. I don't have anything. I was sleeping to be honest. I didn't have a bed, by the way. By the way, I didn't have a bed, I was sleeping on the Soverset in my dad's house, and here I am building, roofing a house for uh two girls, and by the way, they were not like my friends, like these are not my girlfriends or something like that. Before you realize that we are just with them in the choir, we should sing together in the choir. So I believe generosity. I didn't to be honest, I didn't understand it then. Now, when I look back and I see I see, you know, you trust God's provision. And what it does, it sets what you call spiritual and law, practical laws of increase in motion. We need to understand the spiritual world, how the spiritual world works. Do you want to get the laws of increase in motion? Leave from a position of generosity. Number two is stewardship.

Stewardship Purpose Ideas And Debt

SPEAKER_01

You know, we talked about that. We need to understand that we are stewards. True wealth is determined by how well you manage what you have. So, how well do you manage? You need to be efficient, use the resources that you have to add value. Because if you manage small resources well, you create capacity for growth. We talked about that yesterday, where you said if you cannot be trusted with little, who is going to trust you with more? If you cannot take care of other people's property, how are you going to be trusted with more? These are small seeds that set you on your way to unlocking the finances and resources into your way. And talk about the spiritual laws now. Forget about the normal laws of hard work and all that. Talk about unlocking the spiritual laws, stewardship, where you are efficient in the use of resources because that creates capacity. Number three is purpose over money. We talked about that yesterday. Don't chase money, pursue your divine purpose. Because when you operate in your true gifting, you add value to the world. When you are operating in your gifting, when you are looking for jobs, when you're looking for what to do, take jobs that align with your gifting, and don't be out of your gift as much as you can. Because when you flow in your gifting, you add value to the world, and then there's a natural flow that God releases to support your assignment. So always pursue purpose, don't pursue money. The world pursues money. That's why they see them fighting over, you know, they'll do anything to get money to get to power. That's the world. But God said, No, pursue your purpose, follow your gifting, and the natural flow will be unlocked. I wish we had time for that. Number four is the power of ideas. Poverty is uh is often a result of lack of quality ideas. Sometimes when people are praying, God help me, no, we need to say, God, help me get ideas. Poverty is a result of lack of quality ideas. Wealth is generated uh through solving problems, and God's kingdom operates on expressed ideas. That's why we talk about writing down. We say, write down what's your vision, what do you want to do, put it down, express it. Because a transformational idea can change your financial trajectory. I think you have had me talk about the story of M. Pesa and I was called into a room. And these guys from London had come to visit the country, and they were telling us about how we can move value through a phone. And it was an idea then. We were in a room, I'll never forget it in Harper Hill. And we are sitting there in the room, and I'm sitting in the meeting, and these guys are saying, Hey, you can we can use a phone to move money, to move value. We discussed it for over two hours. They had an idea and they were looking for help, or now they can make they could make that idea become something. That idea we were discussing in that room at that time became what is today MPESA, which is fueling the largest company now, Safaricom. It's the biggest product, is the thing in the country we bost about. It was an idea. They had an idea, and they are willing to sacrifice to do whatever it could to get that idea to life. Well, there's a lot of a lot of challenges, a lot of things, but that idea became a business, it became today M PSA, which has revolutionized not just the company, but our entire country today. Ideas. I never forget. Oh my god, we don't have time. In the 90s, no, when I just started working, and I was like running home every week, or almost every weekend to go and build, I was trying to put up a house for my dad, and I would take, you know, there were some buses used to be called Malindi bus. And those days transport was a big challenge. I would reach up our marketplace, and from that marketplace where the matatu handed to our home, it was a three-hour walk. So I would be reached there, reach that marketplace and walk for three hours. Go in, do the construction, do the food work, then come back on foot again in the late afternoon to come and get the bus at night because the next day on Sunday, we needed to be in church for choir. And I did that for like a whole year, trying to do that construction. And one day I'm standing in this marketplace, and I'm like, I if we could get a motorbike and position this motorbike here, I think I can make money. Because I would pay anything to get a motorbike to move me from here to my house, to my home and quick and back. That was the idea of a border border in the 90s. And I never I never executed. I was so sold on it. I felt if I could buy a motorbike and put that motorbike there and hire somebody to be there. This was in '93. The motorbikes were nowhere. The idea of a border border and not coming, I had that idea. I never did anything about it. I would be a billionaire now if I had executed on that idea. I didn't get it done. Anyway, I had that idea. I didn't execute on it, and the rest is history. So, brethren, life is transformed through ideas. Of course, you know, we have got other, many more other ideas uh which we have executed. But I'm just trying to give you or tell you idea how important the power of ideas. Many times, what we need is ideas. We need to pray that God opens our inner ears to be able to see ideas that we can be able to transform uh from just an idea into actually a business and into finances. Same amen. Uh-huh. Where are we on this? Let me make sure I don't get uh where is it? Yeah, power of ideas. Um so um the next one is really the spirit of ownership. You do not own resources, you are a steward responsible for them. I think we've talked about that. View anything in your life, anything that comes to you, look at yourself as a steward. Because the moment you look at it as a steward, you go to take care of it. You don't chase possessions, you don't hoard. When you understand that it's not yours, you are a steward. Anything that's in your hands, you're just a steward. You are you need to be responsible. But understand it's not yours. It is supposed to be for others. Once you look at it like that, then you don't have the trap of holding, holding on to things. And um, again, the floor will begin to throw in your hands. Number three, number the last one, avoid the trap of debt. Financial freedom is lost the moment you become a borrower. Avoid debt. And what I mean by debt here is avoid living beyond your means. I'm not talking about borrowing to finance a business or borrowing to invest in a project, in a revenue generating. That is different. What we are saying here is that avoid living beyond your means. If you are earning 10,000 shillings, budget the 10,000 and stay there. Stay within what you're earning as much as possible. Avoid living beyond your means. Borrowing makes you a servant to the lender. So eliminating debt is essential to regaining your time and choices. If you're going to borrow money from anywhere, it is because you want to invest so that that money can generate returns. And we can go deeper into this with the Lord helping us. But one of the biggest traps you can is living beyond your means. And the one of the biggest disciplines is that is you need to get control over is living within your means, actually, below your means. When you start working, there are several rules you must save. You know, you've got 10, 10, 80, you know, rule, 10% tithe, give to the work of God, then um, you know, 20%, you know, save, then use the remaining. So there are laws that you need to make sure that you stick to. Avoid the trap of debt or living beyond your means. Stay within your means. Say amen. We can go on and on on that. I need to finish so that we can go um and and and and pray and ask our sister Mary Mary Noel to lead us in

prayer. Um, faith, I think it's there. Um, the law of faith. What you expect with the confidence becomes your reality. We've talked about a lot about here, so I won't go into it. So maintain an attitude of that confident expectation, have faith in God. In Matthew 21, 2021, 21 to 22 says, if you have if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done with the fig tree, but you can also sell this mountain, go throw yourself into the sea, and it'll be it will be done. If you believe, you receive whatever you ask for in prayer. Faith, the law of faith is very, very important. There are several uh scriptures that are given there, uh, which we may not have uh time to change. In summary, we can all get financially free. Anybody can be wealthy. That's rule number two. Number number one. Number two, define what wealth means to you. We talked about that yesterday when you talk about uh wealth and money, uh, when you talk about um stewardship, set your objective, what you want to achieve. Don't talk much about it. When you are doing something, don't go and talk to people about what you're planning to do. They all love us. We talk too much, we end up in prison, we end up in a pit. Um, most people are too lazy to get with the be real, stop excuses. Um, understand your money beliefs. You've talked about all these things, understand that money gets money, the richer gets richer, and if you see money as a solution, you become the problem. Brethren, we can become financially free. This subject is meant to just in you know, bring up that.
