Trusting God And Restored Love
SPEAKER_01I'm not late. There's a reason behind everything that has happened in my life up to this moment. I may not fully understand it now, but I choose to trust God. And surely God's goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. We say amen to that. I want to reiterate that God's plan is for us to be connected in a loving relationship with Him first, then all living things. That's why the enemy focuses on destroying relationship. The first relationship he'll make sure is not right is with God. Because he knows when sin is in our lives, when we fall short of God's glory, then we are with we don't have access to God. We have no power. We are not connected with Him. So that's the first thing He targets when He wants to get hold of us. He'll destroy that relationship between us and God. He'll put things in there to make sure that our relationship with God is not there or it's not a loving relationship. You know, you can have a relationship, but it's not loving. That's why these words are carefully chosen. Connected in a loving relationship with God. When the enemy crept into the Garden of Eden, what he did was to destroy the relationship that existed between man and God. Once that wage had been driven, man was driven out of the garden of Eden, and that's where our problems began. And he's never changed in his tactics. He would want to come and make sure that the relationship we have with God is not a loving relationship. You can have some relationship, but not a loving relationship. And we pray that these 30 days will restore back that loving relationship. We get to love God, get to love him in a very, very awful way. And then the next thing he targets is your relationship with the people close to you. It destroys family relationships. That's why there's so much strife. Families are fighting, uh they cannot stay together. Um, this fright with the in court, um, you know, chasing each other. Um, you know, it is just a mess. That's the first thing that the enemy targets to destroy the relationship between those that you love. Because he knows when you don't have that support system, when a brother is fighting a brother, a sister is fighting a sister, um, then you cannot be able to accomplish much. So he destroys that. Um, and then he knows when you that relationship that doesn't exist. When now you find yourself in a place where you need help, you need help, you need support, there's no loving relationship to walk you through that. And then people struggle. And so that's why there's so much attack on the family unit. Um, because he knows when the families are weak, then the church in itself is weak. Then from there he goes to the church where the body of Christ is supposed to be, and you find strife even in the house of God. Where people are in the same church, they are not talking, uh, they cannot greet each other, and they are all there lifting up their hands in worship. There's so much strife, there's division, there's competition. Um, you know, for this that the enemy targets even that spiritual brother-sister relationship in the church gets attacked because he knows when you are weak, then you cannot pull together the house of God is weak, and he has never changed his tactics. You see, the same devil, he focuses on destroying relationships. And this morning we are praying as part of this 30-day challenge, God is going to restore those relationships. It's going to be forgiveness. Uh we're going to let go of things and we're going to be able to reach out to our brothers, to our sisters. It's going to be restoration to the extent possible, and that we may live and have these loving relationships all around us, even in our ministry. That's one thing we desire so much that we continue to create that loving environment where we can truthfully and with a sincere and love God and serve Him and just be there. And God has been gracious for us uh for 30 years. He has kept us together every single day. We have served together through hard times, through good times, uh, through different seasons of our lives. God has continued to protect us and to keep the unity of the brethren. And that's something we treasure so much. And we continue to pray that the Lord's good to help us as we continue growing, doing many things for God, that that loving relationship will always exist in this ministry because it's our God in love. And if we cannot have love amongst ourselves, then there's no way we can be able to represent God in any way. Amen. Thought I should just mention that it's critical. These words are carefully chosen. There's a reason behind where everything is on the screen, and we declare that every single morning in Jesus' name. Let's
Prayer, Mantras, And Letting Go
SPEAKER_01do our daily prayer. Thank you for my blessed life and this magnificent universe and this beautiful nude. Please bless all living things today with your love, with your grace, and with your abundance. May you flow to me and through me, infinite love, joy, peace, purpose, and prosperity during this brand new day that the Lord has given unto us. And all of us say amen. Amen. Let's do the mantras. I can do all things through Christ who strengthened me. These are declarations we make every day. And we added another one. We are wealthy by nature. I am wealthy by nature. That naturally I am wealthy. And when you declare that until the reality begins to catch up, until it becomes real in our lives. And I'm living on purpose. And I am on schedule. We declare that every morning and many others that the Lord will continue to put in your heart this morning. Key truths power in the physical world is measured by how much you can lift up. But in the spiritual world, power is measured by how much you can let go. Your capacity to let go of things is going to determine how powerfully you live. And these 30 days, we have learned a lot. We continue to learn. You need to go let go of especially habits that have not served you. Things that have not been your friend. Some of them we have held dear to them. Some of them are beliefs you are taught when you are young. Some of them you copied from around the fireplace at night when you're having dinner as you are growing up. Others we pick them from our friends, from the environments that we grew up in, from our primary schools, in our formative years. Some of these things were ingrained in us. But we have to let go and begin embracing new life, new revelation. As God's word reveals into us, every time God's word comes into our lives, it removes darkness. Darkness is removed. There's light. And for that to happen, we have to be able to let go of anything that has not served us and openly embrace uh what God is saying to us this morning. And I pray that shall be your portion. 30 days. We remind ourselves of the abundance mentality. We have said in this 30-day challenge, you would like one thing to be embedded in our lives, and that is the spirit of generosity and taking care of the poor around us, being sensitive about their plight. And we are encouraged here in Deuteronomy 15:10 that give generously to them, the poor, and do so without a grudging heart. That whenever we come to give, and yesterday we talked about it, it has to be without a grudge. Don't give grudgingly. If you find yourself giving somewhere and then you are grudgingly, don't. It's a waste. Yeah, it's a waste. It's not acceptable. Giving is acceptable when it comes from a pure, clean heart. And when that happens, Bible God promises He'll bless you in all, not in some work, in all your work, and in everything you put your hand to, God will bless you. You know, God can bless you in supernatural ways, ways that you can never ever, you know, believe. Even in very simple, ordinary terms, even in planting, you plant and harvest. You plant and harvest, and people wonder what happened. You'll you you know, it will come to pass in your life. And I've seen it happen to me many times. I don't want to go into that, I can give you uh you know testimonies, but um God will will bless you until you are surprised. It's a time I think I you know in the early, early part of early in I think it's 2000 or something like that. Went in and bought some piece of farm somewhere along the Mombasa Road, and and we we we bought it and planted. And with in we never seen that amount of that amount of of harvest. The first season we bought that land, we planted. I've never seen that amount of crop harvested. We harvested so much in one season. We we got enough money to pay back the land that we had bought. We re we we recovered the money in one season. One season, and this was just basic crops. The money we had bought that land, we planned it in one season. And it just never came again. It's just we don't planted again. We planted once, we got enough money. We paid back the money. We got planted, we stopped planting. I would have gone back there to plant again. Never, no, it's not happened again. So it's possible that God can bless you in everything that you do, and everything you put your hand to. It is possible. I've seen it with our eyes. Say amen to that, hallelujah. Matthew 6 33, but seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Let's pursue God. Uh the the world pursues things, we pursue God, and things pursue us. In 1 Corinthians 2 9, it says, However, as it is written, no eyes heard, no human mind has conceived the things God has prepared for those who love him. May that be our portion uh this morning. 1 Samuel 10 16, and this is a big prayer for us that the Spirit of God will come powerfully upon us and we will prophesy with them. You know, the this scripture talks about new things beginning to come into us. Saul had never prophesied, he had never experienced this dimension of his work with God. He he was a timid man, he was looking after donkeys, but in a just an encounter with Samuel, and God's hand upon him, he completely went into a new level in his relationship with God. He became prophetic. And we are praying these 30 days would introduce something, a new spiritual dimension, a new desire in us, it will trigger a new desire, a new pursuit of God in a way that's going to usher us into a new spiritual dimension with God. Because when and it begins with a changed heart. And first nine says, as Saul turned to live, God changed Saul's heart, and all these signs were fulfilled that very day. And the Spirit of God came powerfully upon him, and he joined in their prophesying. Saul had never prophesied. We are praying that new things are going to happen in your life, you'll enter into a new spiritual dimension as part of this 30-day challenge. God is going to usher you into a new level, a new, a new vibration, a new level of vibration. You experience gifts and things that you've never been able to do. Even as you pursue Him in Jesus' name. Hallelujah. Hey all the disciplines, take time, connect with nature. We've talked about how powerful that is, that that's become our part of our lives. The reason why we do this every day is that it becomes embedded as our discipline. When you have the opportunity, connect with nature, connect with nature, cut out from the world, disconnect from every single noise, and just go in and be yourself and connect with God. It's powerful. Take a lot of water, keep yourself hydrated, and let us take care of our bodies. It is God's license for us to be here on earth. And let us purpose be a blessing to someone today in Jesus' name. Wonderful. Let's dive in today. We have spent some 19 minutes, but we'll cover what we want to cover this morning. And before I do that, just reminding ourselves uh this Friday is a half time. This Friday is a half time in the year 2026. And so encouraging all of us, if you look at our program, we have the cashier at the creme center uh to mark half of the year. Look back, it's been one half of gone. We're beginning the second half, it's this Friday, and we have a lot to thank
Giving Generously With Clean Hearts
SPEAKER_01God for. It's a time be a time of thanksgiving. Thanking God for bringing us to the first half of the year. We finished all our school missions. God has been gracious to us. We have now entered the construction phase for another one and a half months. Then we get now to the church missions, which we finish the year with, and then the year 2026 is gone by, if the Lord tells us. But so this Friday is a very, very important part of our uh calendar. Half time is halftime. A football match has got a half time. During halftime, you sit down, and the coach tells you, Hey, you didn't play very well there, and they well done there, and we can win it, we can make it. Uh, so it's a nice time to pause and look at where we are in the year 2026 and now believe God for this powerful second half of 2026. So I encourage all of us uh to make our way to the creme center. Uh, if you need transport, we have vehicles for those who are in Nairobi. Um, the Wilson and the team will coordinate for you. Let us congregate at the Crem Center to mark half time or half time year 2026. And let's pray, let's thank God. It's gonna be an awesome time in God's presence, and I'm sure we'll be blessed as we join together. So, with that, let's dive in. Uh, this is what we have covered so far. Um uh we've uh we've yesterday we spent time on the path of financial freedom, and we're going to pick that up today. But these are the things we have covered so far. They are recorded. Uh again, listen to the recording, let it become embedded in our lives. And today, I just want to dive in today to the last part of money. We spent three full days on money, three full days on money, financial freedom, and wealth. And to me, it just shows you how important this subject is uh for us. Luke 16, uh 16, 1 to 15. We don't have time to read all of it. But Jesus said to his disciples, There was a rich man whose manager was accused of wasting his possessions. So he called him and asked, What is this I hear about you? Give an account of your management because you cannot be my manager any longer. The manager said to himself, What shall I do now? I want you to notice that he said to himself, What shall I do now? My master is taking away my job. I'm not strong enough to dig. I'm ashamed to beg. I know what I'll do so that when I lose my job here, people will welcome me into the houses. So he called in each of his master's debtors. He asked the first, How much do you owe me? Do you owe my master? 900 gallons of olive oil. He replied, the manager told him, Take your bill, sit down quickly and make it 450. Then he asked the second one, and how much do you owe? A thousand bushels of wheat. He said, Take your bill, make it 800. The master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light. And then he goes on first 10. He says, Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much. And whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else's property, who will give you property of your own? And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else's property, who will give you property of your own? And then it goes on no one can serve two masters in either hate one. Um, so the I want us to just pick up from here as we conclude this whole subject of the path to financial freedom. And we're just speaking a few things that are critical. I think yesterday we talked about the importance of trust, uh, of stewardship, um, and saying actually it's possible for you to be financially free. And we say the key to that is actually generosity. Generosity is a key key part. Understanding that you are a steward, whatever is in your hands is not yours, you are custodian, you are steward. And we talked about that yesterday. But today we want to focus on what happened on the scripture. First of all, we see the master praising this crooked manager. Why did he praise him? Why would he praise a crooked man? And I think it is because he knew how to take care of himself. When he realized that he had a problem, he realized he was being retrenched, he realized that his source of income was going to dry. The one thing that he decided to take to do is to take care of himself. He took responsibility, and something that we talked about yesterday. You can never be on a path of financial freedom if you don't take personal responsibility. This man would have sat there and started blaming the master, blaming retrenchment, blaming this. But the attitude of this man was hey, I better sort this one out. Otherwise, I'm gonna become a beggar here. I'm going to start begging, and I don't want that to happen to me. It is he started to take action. The beginning to financial freedom is when you said, No, no, I do not want to live like this. I'm tired of this life. I cannot afford to beg. I'm not going to live like this, I'm going to live in a different path. That's key. Um, and is in this case, we see the people of the world seem to be better at managing money and difficult times financially. And I think this man was being commended, he was a crooked man, but he was good, he took action. And sometimes in church, and I'm just raising this up, it's not an accusation on anybody or on the on us. Sometimes we lack common sense on financial management in the church. We spiritualize things, and faith, which is absolutely critical, cannot replace good stewardship and financial management. You cannot put faith and expect faith to cover for your lack of good stewardship and lack of good financial management. You know, for example, not spending what you don't have. You you cannot put faith there. These things work together. You need to be a good steward, you need to be a good manager. Then apply faith. But you cannot use faith to cover up for our poor financial management. And you know, because in the church there has been a false belief that, for example, and that has been pedoled around, if you tithe, you never have financial problems. If you give, you never have financial problems. No, it's a combination. Tithing and giving is not a magic one that covers all our weaknesses. So we have to teach tithing and giving, but it has to be taught alongside how to live wealth. Because if you give and tithe, but you are not generous, you're not living a life of generosity, including financials. It will evade you. And you can think oh God's word is not true because you are only on to one and not practicing all of it. And so we need to make sure that we understand everything and apply it in 360 degrees. We want to be good in givers, we want to be good titles, but also we need to be good managers. We need to live a life of generosity. We need to be good at financial management. And we need to invest in having that knowledge so that then it can begin to work in our lives. And many of us, our parents and grandparents, struggled financially. And mental this can be transferred to us. We can end up in the same place where our parents were. We have to make a determination and say, no, I don't want to live like this. It begins with a decision. And I think I've talked about that. So we must, as a church, not just teach the spiritual part of it, but we must also teach people how to be more financially responsible. And you can never be financially free if you are being financially irresponsible. Right? So we need to be able to live well, we need to be able to have enough resources to support the church, to support the ministry. And that cannot happen if we are not good at financial management. And that's why I'm saying the path to financial freedom requires us to be absolutely good stewards and apply the principles of good financial management for it to work in our lives. Number one, the people that are wealthy, that actually succeed in being financially free, they don't look rich at all. Many times when we when we see wealth, we tend to look at the cars, we tend to look at the buildings, we look at what they have accomplished, but sometimes we don't see them. Some of the people living in those big homes that you think are where the world are, are in a lot of debt. They are living expensive lifestyles, but they are in absolutely a lot of debt. So don't be moved by what you see. And
New Spiritual Hunger And Disciplines
SPEAKER_01don't be moved by uh you know by what you see. But if you if you if you if you if you look at uh at what helps them, it's a combination of faith and practical wisdom. The combination of those two will lead to absolute um I would say exponential exponential exponential growth. Most people with wealth don't live in high neighborhoods and they don't necessarily drive luxury cars. Sometimes when we see the cars, we think, oh, he must be wealthy. You see the house where he's living in, you think they are wealthy. But that wealth is not indicated by what you see in many times. I'm not saying all the time, but saying don't be moved by what you see. Wealth is what you accumulate, not what you spend. Wealth is what you accumulate, not what you spend. And it comes from four very basic things, some of them which we have covered here. Simple hard work. We need to be hard workers. You cannot just say, Oh, me, I tithed and I gave this, and therefore I expect mirror, you know, things just to happen. No, you in addition to all those spiritual things that we talked about here, you have to develop the culture of simple hard work. Because the Bible is very clear that hard work is in tons of scripture that tells us the path to success is actually hard work. Then practical wisdom. That's why the book of Proverbs is a book that most of us should read. Maybe in the second half of the year, commit yourself to reading the book of uh Proverbs. I think it should be a mandatory book to anybody who gets born again, because the book the Proverbs gives us practical wisdom on how to live or how not to live. And some of these things are critical to us in giving us getting our true financial freedom. Then, of course, perseverance. You need to persevere. There's this belief. Oh, yeah, you you know, you can just arrive and just get rich all overnight, overnight riches. Even the Bible, you go look at the prescription. You see that those that were succeeded, they they persevered. It took time to build wealth. It is a discipline that happened every single day, and then finally uh you find yourself having a breakthrough. It is a path, it's a journey. This overnight millionaire thing. Oh, you know, you want to win the lottery in one in one day. Do you know how many people how many people do you know in since you were born that have won the lottery? How many can you show me? There are not many, so it's it's got to take perseverance and then, of course, self-discipline, which we spend a lot of time uh talking about your self-discipline is giving yourself a command, saying this is what I will do, and disciplining yourself to get onto that path and getting it done. Hey, say amen, amen to that. Um now we all have the same information, we all have gifts, gifts and abilities, but when you look around at the statistics, the world seems to be pushed to a few three percent, even in our country, globally, three percent of the of the world's the the how do I put it like this, three percent of the population control the the the almost 97 percent, 97 percent of the world's world is in the hands of three percent, something like that. I thought I'm
Midyear Halftime Thanksgiving Plan
SPEAKER_01putting it correctly. And why? Because these people they do specific things, and some of them we have covered here. A lot of people will not survive long without a salary. If you want to look at wealth, ask yourself if today those of us who are working, you stopped working, how long can you survive? How long will you be able to survive without a salary? That's a thing, something just to ponder out there. It forces you to begin thinking, hey, how do I organize myself? If today you got someone tell you, sorry, it's over, how long will you survive? Can you continue living? Um, Deuteronomy 8 18 says, But remember the Lord your God, it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms His covenant, which is so to our ancestors as it is today. So He God is the one who gives us the ability to produce wealth. The question is, what do we do with that ability? You know, the God's word is so interesting. God gives you the ability to produce wealth. So the ability to produce wealth is in us. The question is, what do you do with that ability? Are you waiting for a lucky break? Are we waiting for that call? So we have the ability to produce wealth, but as I've said, the wealth in the country is held by only three percent. That three percent have been able to use that ability to generate wealth. So, how do you join the three percent? How do you become part of that three percent? Again, we are just throwing these things here that you can get us thinking, it can get us asking questions. Um, because a lot of these things we don't discuss them, and we need every Christian to be strong financially, because when we are strong, uh it becomes very easy when we are doing God's work, it becomes easy. Uh, you know, the whether whatever project we are undertaking, whatever God is telling us to do, it becomes very easy when we are financially strong. And I hope this is going to help us. So, um, what are the um the things that just to mention here things that will help us create world? Number one, live well below your means. Live well below your means. By the way, in your notebook, um, there are dashes there, so you'll be able to fill the dashes from this teaching. Uh, you can go and complete in your workbook um some
Luke 16 And Money Stewardship
SPEAKER_01of those points with food blanks so that you can complete them. So, number one, live well below your means. A lot of poor people live way above their means. That means if you are earning if your income is 10,000, design a life of you ensuring that you don't spend more than 10,000. Live well below your means. This is a simple, basic wisdom. You violate this, it is unforgiving. It does not matter what you do, it will undermine every single thing. As a matter of principle, live well below your means. That means you must know how much you are earning and you must have a budget, and you must make sure that you are living below your needs. Don't get into the temptation of spending what you don't have. Allocate time and energy and money in ways that build wealth and does not decrease wealth. You can have a lifestyle that decreases your wealth. So make sure that where you are allocating your time, your energy, and money is ways that actually uh increase your wealth. And then number three, believe that financial independence is more important than displaying high social status. We get carried. I think you hear that word of you know, going with the Johnson's or whatever. You're copying what everybody is doing. So because everybody is having a smartphone, um, then you also want to make sure that you know I show up with a smartphone as well. Because in church, that lady came with a you know gucci handbag, even me. I want to come in and also with my, you know, with a similar brand as well. Or you saw this lady having this hairstyle now, I also want to have it. Um, and we keep copying each other, and all we are driven by is displaying a high social status. Don't get into that trap. Don't get into that trap. Um, you don't need to display your wealth to anybody. Yeah. Uh, number four, the those who are successful in getting their path to financial freedom, they don't live on everything. You don't live on everything. You get and even borrow more. You make sure that you live below your means and you're actually spending time saving. Uh, and by the way, this was a survey that was being done uh on the wealthy. They said number five, but this is a very interesting one. They said of all the wealthy people, most of their wives are very conservative with money and are careful spenders. Again, don't stone me here. This is actually, I found this very interesting, and I said I'll put it there. That most of their wives are very conservative with money and they are careful spenders. Anywhere you find uh families that are thriving, you look behind, and I'm not sure why the wives, uh, but wives influence a lot of what happens in a home. And uh, those that have been able to achieve financial independence, they have wives that are very conservative with money and are careful spenders. Don't stone me. I found it there and I felt it's important to put that wisdom there. Um, those again who have been able to achieve financial freedom, they have enough money to live without working for at least 10 years, if they choose to. That means today, if they stop working or they start, they can actually live comfortably for another 10 years, and they are okay. I'm not saying we are there, I'm saying let that be our ambition that you can actually stop working and you are okay, you still continue living for another 10 years without having any income coming from you. It has to be our ambition. It is possible. Others have made it, and it is possible. Again, it's a journey. I'm not saying you know, you know, you reach there, but it's a journey. With the study that to this study I'm sharing with you here, people that have been very successful, but that's what they have been able to do. Do that's of them, they work between 40 to 55 hours a week. That's quite hefty. They are work, they work hard, nothing comes easy. Um, you need to invest at least 20% of your income. 20% of your income, you need to save and save and save. Um, and it's not the amount, it's the discipline. Uh I was calculating, I think I shared that statistics here, that if at the time, and this is really for the young people, if you start saving at the age
Practical Rules For Financial Freedom
SPEAKER_01of 20, I think we come out of university at around 23, 24. There, if you start saving a thousand shillings every month without touching it, reinvesting it from the age of 20. And you earn 10,000, you save a thousand from the age 20. By the time you reach the age 55, you'll be financially free. Go and do the other the mathematics. It's called the power of compound interest. That 1000 becomes 1100, 1200, it becomes like that. By the time you reach 55, that 1000 will be worth a lot of money, and you can actually be free. But what we lack is the discipline. So when it comes to saving, start early and be keep the discipline. Put the money in a place you can't touch. Put a standing order, don't wait for the money to come into your account. Then now you decide. No, no, put a standing order and say, take this money from my income, put it in this account that earns this interest, and you don't touch it and forget about it. Or put it in a product, in an insurance product that is not easy to touch, and let it stay there. We have got a lot of by the way, very many financial consultants here, insurance people here, they can guide you on some of the investment products that are available. But the key to financial freedom is beginning early and keeping the discipline of saving. Where every month you put something that you don't touch. You put something you don't touch, something appreciates in value. A cash in an investment account or in a product that grows is a good asset. The same way that you see how to talk about land, land appreciates with value, property appreciates with value. So make sure that you put you save and invest in some of these products. Um, by the time you reach 55, you'll be in a very strong place. We didn't grow up in a saving culture, and therefore we need to change this belief. Um, and we need to teach our children as well. Um, again, it's we recommend that there is also they say the families that have been very strong financially, they recommended very practical careers for their children, like accounting, law, business. They ensured that they learned these core uh business principles accounting, law, marketing, sales. These were all um, you know, disciplines that actually get embedded in the children, and then uh you know, from you know you find now that generations that come after you are stronger. I need to quick finish quickly so our sister Joyce can lead us in prayer. In Proverbs 21:20, it says the wise store up choice food and olive oil, but fools gulp theirs down. Proverbs 21:20. The wise store up choice food. You can replace choice food with some savings or olive oil, but fools gulp theirs down. If you spend all you earn, the Bible is calling us a fool, saying fools eat up everything. In Proverbs 21:29, the living Bible says the wise man saves for the future, but the foolish man spends whatever he gets. In Proverbs 21, 5, he says, steady plodding brings prosperity, hasty speculation brings poverty. This is you know, from Solomon was the richest man, but he understood the principle of saving. Say, don't eat up everything. Um, you know, he had inherited his you know in for a lot of things from his father, and um he he he was able to give us this this wisdom. So save, invest what you're enjoying today was paid for by someone else. So make sure that you have that principle embedded in you. Um, quickly, quickly. Um parents, their parents did not provide economic outpatient care to their children, their children, adult children, we are self-sufficient. We have to teach our children to be self-sufficient. The idea is not for children to take care of parents. It's great if they take care of them, but the biggest thing we want is our children to be self-sufficient. So we have to teach our children to be good with money, to be self-sufficient. Uh, we do not get that training ourselves. We want to make sure that uh that is transferred to our children. We don't want to bring up an ignorant uh generation. Um, so we have to make it our ambition to make sure our children are well taught. Um, they were skillful at marketing. Marketing is a very, very important career, very, very important career that I think we need to measure it's embedded, not just in our children. Marketing and sales is the ability to take things to the market. Very, very um, very, very good uh um, very good career. And then uh two-thirds of those who are had financial independence, we are self-employed. There's this tendency, this feeling that people have to be employed, uh, earn a living, and get a salary. But when you look at the statistics, and maybe one day when we have time, we'll go deeper into this. Two-thirds of the people that have been able to be financially free, two-thirds of them are self-employed. They are not, they don't wake up to go to somebody's house and work for somebody. They are being able to build businesses. Two-thirds of them. That's a huge statistic. Again, number 14, those who had been able to manage this thing, we are actually had very interesting occupations. We had people in who are welders, farmers, occupations that slowly they'd build over time and they'd work for them. I'm talking about the people who have been successful. Some of the careers you despise, these guys doing well, welding, plumping, um, you know, doing you know, very practical careers. They have been able to accumulate and they have wealth far more than people that are employed. Um, and of course, I said, you know, they did not make it until they are 50 plus. And most wealthy people don't look wealthy. Most of the wealthy people don't look wealthy. When you look at them, they look like very ordinary people. But when you drill down, you find that they are very, very wealthy. Brethren, we don't have much time. Uh, let me wrap it up here. People they are they are very frugal. Most wealthy people are frugal. That is, they they don't display, they don't they the pressure to display wealth is huge. And especially those of us that come from poor background, there's been that pressure to show people who have arrived, I'm showing you the car, I'm gonna show you this, I'm gonna show you this. And it's well, when the politicians do it and they show this display of wealth, you want to be like them. Ah no, you have to learn to resist that temptation. In fact, a lot of wealthy people drive secondhand cars, you never see them buying new cars, they resist that temptation. They live on budget and know how to minimize the tax payable. They avoid credit cards, stay on budget, avoid credit cards, avoid Fulisa and all his cousins. They are not good for us. Live on budget. They don't spend in anticipation of having money, they wait to get the money and then spend it. Again, I know we have gone over and over that again. They overcome the pressure to prove to others, brethren. These are all small things I sort of downloaded here that can help us to get onto a place where we can say we are financially free. There, we need to find time to drill into them again as the Lord enables us. But these are just things I hope to prick you to know that is you can be financially free, but there are some things that we have to really, really focus on to become financially independent. Say amen. So allow me to reach there in the use of time. I'll hand it over to our sister. Our time is
