What If It Did Work?
Tyler Guzzo: From Excuses To Action
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Ever feel like you’re doing everything “right” and still spinning your wheels? We cut through the noise and get honest about what actually moves the needle, clear goals, tighter boundaries, and small promises you keep every day until confidence becomes your default. No calendars, no clichés, no borrowed motivation from a Monday or a new year. Just the real talk that helps you act today.
We start with identity: swapping old trophies and stale narratives for training that fits real life. Omar and Tyler open up about injuries, aging, and why the mind is the strongest muscle in the room. From marathon seasons to Hyrox ambitions, the lesson is the same—focus beats outrage. If a halftime show can steal your day, so can a candy aisle engineered to light up your dopamine. That’s why cold-turkey crash plans fail and why sustainable change starts with frictionless habits you can repeat when birthdays, travel, and holidays roll in.
We also go deep on entrepreneurship and self-respect: charging what you’re worth, refusing to blur friendships with discounts, and letting “no” be part of a healthy sales pipeline. Virtual coaching shines here—systems that meet you anywhere, structured accountability, and the why behind the what so you’re not white-knuckling a diet. Expect clear timelines too: most people can safely drop 20–30 pounds in 16 weeks, with heavier clients seeing even more when fully compliant. The first month often hits faster; then plateaus require smarter adjustments, not panic.
By the end, you’ll have a blueprint for sustainable fat loss, a mindset reset to stop outsourcing your future to the calendar, and the confidence that comes from doing exactly what you said you would. Banter, Catch-Up, And Fitness Grind
SPEAKER_00I never told no one that my whole life I've been holding back. Every time I load my gun up, so I can do for the stall. I hear a voice like you are.
SPEAKER_03All right, everybody. Another day, another dollar, another one of my favorite episodes of my favorite podcast. What if it did work? But this he's the man to myth the legend. He was literally the first guest that I would say you're my first guest. I was gonna say the first guest that I didn't sleep with, because the first guest was myself, which you know, I I I'm truly in touch with myself over the past who knows how many years. And then Amy, you know, the girl that you know, and clearly, man, you're guest number one, man. And that and that, and we'll never pass you know past that threshold. We'll we'll keep it called cordial. Yeah, dude. I mean, I I know it's a new time and a new age, but you know, we're we're old-fashioned guys in that that aspect.
SPEAKER_01That's true. Welcome back to the show, man. Well, I appreciate you having me back, man. This is great. This is great. No, I I remember that the the the first episode, it was it was great, and uh man, how many what episode is this now? You've just been plugging along, dude.
SPEAKER_03Man, time flies, man. You you were still a bachelor, you're just like you know, sowing the seeds of love everywhere.
SPEAKER_01There was a lot of sewing on. I was like old lady in old rocking chairs sewing away.
SPEAKER_03Exactly, man. You're you're you're showing everybody build it, they will come, man. You're showing them the real aisle there, exactly 100. Not the corn husk, not the corn husk. Yeah, but you've been okay. That was episode three, but you're you're like number one per on the amount of guest appearances, brother. So I and I gotta say, everybody, we did meet shit just a few days ago, man. I I literally had to do a full body workout uh to hang out with you, man. And and I dude, the the ego just to have all those young, oh yeah, you're doing a great job. And I felt I felt like saying, Motherfucker, this is eight months straight of working out. I've got a torn ACL and I'm out here plugging away, man. People are patting back, good job, Omar.
SPEAKER_01Like, man, I've been doing two-days for the past eight months.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, no, you know, no, I'm not quirky, man. I don't have Down syndrome, I don't have anything like that, dude. I'm just like, you know, I'm I'm a big guy, man.
SPEAKER_01Well, you you're you're you're stocky. You're stocky, Omar. You've been building up some muscle. How do you feel with the two-days, by the way?
Marathons, Injury, And Training Identity
SPEAKER_03Dude, the mind is the strongest thing, brother. And you know, dude, you ran while while here I I use the out, you know, I'm not yeah, I'm not gonna run another marathon. I have a torn ACL. And you're like, watch me now. That's it. But after a point, am I gonna go through all that for a fucking medal? I've I've I don't even display them, man. They're all in a fucking box, dude. Well, you ran so many. You ran how many? How many have you ran? I ran 25 folds and about like a hundred halves in my lifetime. Oh my god, 25 folds, yeah, dude. Yeah, but yeah, I instead, you know, I I wanted to look like a bitch, so I would get like super skinny, because you know, you don't want to be, you know, yeah.
SPEAKER_01You don't want to be solid, yeah.
SPEAKER_03You yeah, no, so I prefer, you know, I'll I'll always have the fat face because people people think I'm like it's like man, uh I'm a size 34. I I if if I wanted to do the Garth Brooks, I could squeeze in a size 33. Just my you know, I'm I'm I'm perfectly, you know, healthy. But yeah, no, the the two days, man, think about it, dude. If people have can have time for their bullshit, I mean there's people go to Disney World, pay 50 bucks to park to stand in line, but yet they don't have time for anything else, dude. Craziness, man.
SPEAKER_01Well, it it's like you said, it's like you said, and we brought this up. We're not, you know, I I'm not wanting to get political or anything like that, but you're you're like, you know what? If you got time to to cry and moan about the halftime show and spend all your time letting that ruin your day, then there's an issue.
SPEAKER_03But but you know what the best part about it was everybody thought like I was like pro bad bunny because you know, not that not in in in the United States do we believe in stereotypes. It's like all that beaners, we wanted everybody to learn Spanish, and and you know, the truth of the matter is people, this I've I've seen Kid Rock more times than anything. Most people, I mean, I've seen him for the past 30 years, man. I've seen Brantley Gilbert. So, you know, uh what I'm trying to say is, dude, if you don't like something, pass the channel, man. Uh everybody ate like 3,000 to 5,000 calories that day. Yes, have always gotten your third or fourth plate, dude. Am I 90% of the halftime shows I've hated? So am I gonna say, where's the dirty heads? Where's 311? Just shut up, man. The halftime show is about making money, man. The NFL's uh like almost probably like a trillion dollar, you know. I think they know what they're doing. They're like, Yeah, but that guy is Spanish. Six million people didn't watch. Uh no, but yeah, but what about all the people all over the world? And you know, I don't think they're playing NFL games in Berlin and Madrid and all that, uh, you know, just for shits and giggles. Exactly.
SPEAKER_01That's all it is, that's all it is. And and obviously, like the fact that we're talking about that and other people are talking about it, that gives it more views. Like, it's like Uncle G said, I'll never get he he he he said this, and you were at the 10x growth con down here at the um at the stadium, and I was there too. Uh, and he said, even bad publicity is still publicity, or he didn't say but he did something about like getting attention is attention, right? Whether they hate you or they love you, whatever the case is. Like Steve Harvey, he talked about at that same conference that when he gave that wrong, like he he was uh he presented the award for I think was it Miss America or something like that? When he gave it to the wrong he said the wrong, I think it was it was supposed to go to Columbia or yeah, it was supposed to go to Columbia or something like that, and then he his name skyrocketed on Google search. He he was you know it it helped him out.
Outrage Culture And Ignoring The Halftime Noise
SPEAKER_03Dude, when somebody sends me a DM that I I suck, my podcast sucks. Uh some well, I told you at the beach somebody blocked me because they wanted to know what what my opinions were on GLP, you know, shots. Right, right. I first said, Hey, what are my what's my opinion of shots? I'm like, Yeah, I haven't taken Jaegermeister, I'm too old for that shit. He's like, No, man, like we govy and Mederma and all shit. I'm like, dude, you I get clearly you haven't read any of my books. You haven't when have I said, hey, whatever you do, be a bitch, don't do the work, and find like the easy way out. And and then you know, he's like, Well, I I lost 18 pounds taking the shots. And if you're if you're seeking validation from me, uh something like that, that's like, hey, I know most people ran 26.2 miles, but I I found a shortcut and I ran four miles. Okay, what the it's on you, and that's what you and then before he blocked because you know he blocked me because you know I didn't give him that. I said only pussies do that. He he's like, Well, snacks, man, you don't understand, man. You know, always the victim that it, you know, your your circumstances are you know, I work late at night and there's snacky poos, and then like snacky poo. Sometimes I see Kool-Aid and I and I have to sit from it and I have to eat hojos, man.
SPEAKER_01Uh dude, it's a sad, it's a sad reality that that you know. Listen, I if if you want to take it, that's on you. That's on you, and it can be a shortcut. You can see amazing results, yes, but you're gonna have to get off it eventually. And if you think you're gonna be on it forever, it's just not it's not reality. It's it's not reality, and so you know, at the end of the day, you you Omar. If you're listening to this podcast, you know Omar doesn't sugarcoat it. And so if if Omar you always know where Omar stand with Omar 100, dude, and the best part is it's like get in line, man.
SPEAKER_03You know how many people have fucking blocked me? I've I've I've had ex-girlfriends block me, dude. Join join the club, man. Am I gonna stalk you? Am I gonna cry, dude? I I thought it was just funny because sometimes the truth hurts, man. It is, it is and dude, Tyler. If you saw me all of a sudden like posting stuff like, you know, I'm I'm chasing after an ex and I'm I'm like listening to the cure and the patch mode, and and and and you DM me or call me call me out on me and go, dude, you're such a pussy. I would accept it if you do the work, dude. I I remember when you're getting melodramatic, but didn't want you to be an entrepreneur, yeah. You were working too long and too hard. It's always best to be a tool for someone else's dreams for 40 hours because then you had the weekends off. I remember that. I remember that. I remember that very and I was cool. I I was honest, like to it, right?
SPEAKER_01I thought there was I didn't sugarcoat it. You didn't sugarcoat it, you didn't sugarcoat it. You you just said you told it like it was, and that helped me so much, and that was huge, man. I two two very distinctive moments of my career that that Omar like gave me the advice I needed to hear. Number one was when very early on, I used to train boot camps in person, and this is back in 2017, and the new year was coming up, and maybe it was 20 going into 2019, because I've been doing it since 2017. Anyways, it got to the point where like people would come to the class and pay their monthly membership, which was dirt cheap, by the way, at the time, and they would like pull it out of their bra after the class and give me this wad of like 75 bucks or whatever it was, or out of their like, or they'd forget, or they wouldn't do, you know. So I finally said, This coming year I'm gonna have to put my credit card down. I remember when I did that, it was like my friends, the people that came to the class that looked at me sideways, like, you want my credit card information? Come on, Tyler. Like, I thought we were friends, thought we were close. And I was upset, man. I was like, man, I think I like I think I ruined the relationship with my clients. And Omar's like, oh, what you said something like, if you don't pay your bills, they're not gonna do it for you.
Haters, GLP-1 Shots, And Doing The Work
SPEAKER_03You said something like that that was like they know you have to separate reality, is man, are they your friends that they're asking for a discount?
SPEAKER_01Right, no, no, no, absolutely not.
SPEAKER_03Because uh, and here's the honest truth I know you're in service and you do the the weekend Saturday boot camp for free. But if you're like Omar, I would love for you to attend, you know, just to attend, we charge 20 bucks, 15 bucks. I would pay because that's your business. Right. What type of friend or what type of you know, I I I consider you a bunch of things, all cool. You know, and I tell that to people. They're never they're not your friend. Could you believe you know your mom sees you struggling and she's like, hey Tyler, throw me a bone, man? Or is she gonna help you out? She's gonna help you out because you know, that's your mom. If that friend is your true friend, I've never asked for a discount, I've never asked for a big freebie from any of my friends. Now, do I give other people? Yeah, but I I make a note, not not because I'm cheap, I'm like, oh, that motherfucker has a value because you don't value somebody like that, man. You know, it would you go, you know, if your friends are like Steven Spielberg, oh I see the new Indiana Jones movie or Jaws or whatever the hell or Jurassic Park. Can can I get a comp ticket? No, motherfucker, fucking pay for it, or or go on Tuesdays at eight o'clock. Full price, full price, you better put that man and and the thing is, is we devalue ourselves, man. Right. You you could have devalued yourself with that woman, and it wasn't the woman's fault, it would have been your fault, exactly, because you discounted yourself, you lowered your standards, you stopped your dream so you could fit in someone else's reality. Yeah, and that chick fucking long gone, man. Exactly, but a lot of people would have taken that path, right? Right, and you didn't, dude. And your life, because you took the the long road, you took the path, but you know, less track. There were zero shots, yeah, exactly. And your life is better. You have a son, man, out of it. Very handsome young man. And I I see reels would would would you die for your family and all the yeah? I mean, I'm not going to Iran for my family. I'm oh my god. Hey man, let the cards fall, man. Oh, and we have to release the Abstein piles finally. You know, we're more or whatever, then fuck it. You know, you know I'm not on that list.
SPEAKER_01That's great. No, it's true, it's true. And so those moments, the moment where I started to take credit cards and I said, you know what, you're right. These people will not pay my bills. I'm gonna have to do it for myself, and they're gonna have to actually, you know, this is a business. And then the other situation with the girl. And it and ultimately I was heartbroke. You know, it seems like when you're in a relate, when you're in the relationship, you're like, man, you know, this is I love this girl and this and that. And this is just anybody, not just, you know, with this situation, but you you you're in that emotional state, and you need someone, a friend like Omar, a coach like Omar, somebody who's like a mentor to be like, hey, I know you feel this way, but let me tell you, like, I've been down that road, I've I've had this same experience. This is what happened to me, and this is where I'm at. And you gave me that advice. You're like, hey, you can go back to working for somebody, or you're gonna, she's gonna have to accept that this is your life and this is the life you chose. And the reality is, just like now, you know, my beautiful partner and I, we're gonna go take trips, travel, do all kinds of fun stuff, live a great life with our son. And that girl, I don't know wherever she's at in the world right now, but she's not gonna benefit from that.
SPEAKER_03Let's cyber stalk her. I'm just okay with you, you know.
Tough Love Coaching And Entrepreneur Choices
SPEAKER_01I mean, let's do it, let's share the screen. Everyone needs to know who she is. No, I think we'll let's let's all all send hate her away. Exactly. I'm gonna uh we'll put her uh put her name in the show notes. Um but no, it it's one of those things where you could like the way I look at it too is like you have to you you have to find in in terms of uh in terms of like what you want to do with your life. Some people get stuck because they're like, well, I don't want to give up my weekends, but I want to have the business. Well, well, I want to live in Florida, but I don't want to deal with hurricanes. Like there's pluses and minuses to everything in life. Yeah, you want to you want to not have the stress of of starting a business and all these kinds of things, but you also want the PTO, like you want more time off. You want, you know, like you can't have you, there's there's pros and cons in life, you know.
SPEAKER_03Well, dude, it's like everybody they they say one thing, but they really like, oh, I want to be an entrepreneur. They don't because in their head, well, I I have all this free time, dude. How many weekends uh uh have you worked? How many weekends have I worked and birthdays? I remember, oh my god, this is your birthday, and and and you're at a store. I'm like, well, you know, it's like you know, random Wednesday. I don't think Chuck E cheese is busy, you know, you know, I think I'm I'm not in that age group anymore. I I don't want to see the fights uh that that they make reels and go viral. I I don't want the cardboard pizza, yeah. I think I could fit in some of those rides and games. So no, it is over.
SPEAKER_01Chuck E. Cheese is not gonna allow you in no more. You can't get in the ball pit anymore.
SPEAKER_03Oh, bummer, man. Bummer. The happiest day of my life was when my kids are like, This place sucks, man. Let's not come here anymore. And that was it, you were done. Oh, dude, that that that was it, man. And and you know, when they have kids, you know, I I'll be like, Yeah, no, I I can't go.
SPEAKER_01Uh you know, I'll be honest, and I'm kind of pumped for Chuck E. Cheese. I actually really enjoyed Chuck E. Cheese. Maybe as an adult, I'll hate it. I don't know, but I'm I'm excited for those days.
SPEAKER_03Well, well, it's because the excitement is like when you take your kid to the first time to the house of mouse, but then you know, the 30th time, it's like and and kids kids have short-term memory, man. They're like, this place is fucking fun. He's like, you know, we we've we've got the Dr. Pepper, we have everything that dad is against. We have the coke products and the wheel of death and that pizza. You can you can go the wheel of death, man. The wheel of death. Well, some people know it's got it's got protein, it's got carbs, and it's if you get a mitza, it's got extra protein in it, too.
SPEAKER_01It's a it's a good point.
SPEAKER_04Exactly, man.
SPEAKER_01I think I think the re I I think I think you're on to something there, though. Is that and I think that uh that's why in speaking about you know, we talked about my the lean in 16 program, which well, we we we don't need to plug that right now. We don't need to talk about that right now, but the point is most we're we're we're gonna plug the hell out of that, brother. Don't worry about it. Well, I appreciate that. I I do appreciate that. But the point is, and not to can not to revert into that, but at this point in the year, most people have given up on their goals, they've given up on whatever they set out to do January 1st, and that's because they have that short-term memory, because they don't know how to focus, they don't know how to stick something through, just like what you're talking about. Like you gotta stick it through, and that's why most people get stuck and most people don't do what they want to do in life.
Boundaries, Pricing, And Valuing Your Work
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but dude, I I'd never have New Year's resolutions, dude. That's the biggest bullshit, man. It's just a fucking calendar switch. It's you know, exactly. It's another day. Uh I mean, it's another day, dude, especially here in South Florida. Out outside of this, you know, 30 degrees that we had here and there, dude. It's like 80 degrees, nothing's really changed, it's the same shit. Your your shorts will give you a prostate exam out there because the humid humidity is so bad. I mean, what why it's funny because it's always like somebody's birthday, like when they they turn like a new a new decade, hits you know, it's it's lifetime, you know. We need a change. Chapter 43, yeah, dude, or New Year's, and it's shit that nobody cares about, man. But because everybody's posting, it's like when everybody posts on Thanksgiving week, that one-week challenge. What am I grateful for? And let me tag five people, and they could they can do the same thing and tag five more people, and we're gonna make a movement because we're grateful five days and we're gonna see how many likes we get. And it's the same thing, dude. People have a short-term memory because they're already defeated, dude. And people that are successful, do you think Warren Buffett before he retired and when Charlie Monger were alive? They're like, Man, thank goodness it's December 20th, man. You know, once January 1st comes Berkshire Hathaway, we're we're gonna kill it. Well, yeah, you know, rush what, dude? And then you you and I both know everybody has vague goals. I want to be better, right? The only time you can quantify that is if you're like Jeffrey Daum or Ted Bundy. Oh, yeah, you know, I I I want to kill less, but you know, I want to eat less. But but when it comes to what does that even mean? I I want to be a better person, I want to live for the moment, I want to be present. No, motherfucker, have like a real goal, man. You wanna you you you didn't lose you didn't get gain heavy because you you ate like a fucking pig for 20 days. You you ate heavy for the past 20 years, and now you know you had the dick deuce syndrome. You look down and you can't see the dick, and it can't do.
SPEAKER_01Oh man.
SPEAKER_03We're definitely not midwestering it, man.
SPEAKER_01Hey, we're we're hey, we're going real south here today. I like it, I like it, I like that.
SPEAKER_03But dude, it it's it's a hundred percent friggin' true, man.
SPEAKER_01It is no, it is, it is, it is, and it and it's true because you know, like like like you said, the the goals are vague, they have no real direction. Like, that's why in our community, like every year, and it actually, I'm very proud about this. In in our community, every year, right before the new year, we have a goal setting like mindset clinic, where it's about two two weeks ahead or about a month ahead of January. I love I I set goals. They're smart goals, though. They're like, if I if I get to the end of the year, I know I did it or I didn't do it. Not like like the Jeffrey Dahmer example, like I killed so many people. Like, we're getting X amount of bot bodies here, right? So we did that in 2024. A girl in the program lost uh 60 pounds in 2025 because she she references that mindset clinic. She's a doctor, she is, you know, she wanted to to to walk the walk, you know, walk the talk.
SPEAKER_03And so well, she couldn't originally walk the one.
SPEAKER_01She originally, right. Originally she had to make some uh adjustments, exactly. But she did. And and now she's get set up for high rocks this year. So like completely changed her life because she actually stuck with it. And to your point, she had a specific plan. But that I mean that's that's just.
SPEAKER_03You know, if you tweak your workouts just a little, you can have a team Goo Hyroc stamp. We could, we probably could. I I I think it'd be great. Dude, tell me that's not and and you know everybody. You you had the pictures, the the reels of everybody, you know, 60 pounds heavier, whatnot. And it's tough, man. To me, it's like doing a Spartan indoors.
SPEAKER_01Right, right, right. Spartans are real tough. Now, Hyrocks, Hyrocks is like very cardio heavy, and I think you know, like it's gone away from the CrossFit. CrossFit was like the big thing for a long time. You know, people are still doing that, obviously, but Hyrocks, like it's taken over.
SPEAKER_03And uh, but dude, they're they they sell shoes. They sell shoes for high rocks, no. Yeah, man. You know how they used to specialize for obstacle races, and you know, the the muddy buddy had the Merrills, and and like your crop. I think Reebok was for Spartans. Yeah, they're they're um yeah, they're they're getting they're moving on up, man. That's that's what I'm saying. Your team, uh a local team, not not I know you have clients everywhere, you know, unless they wanted to fly in for it. You do that event. That's a great promo. And there's always people out there on the sidelines. They're like, oh my god, look at these MFers. Right. And they're doing it. Because you know, you're nowadays, a lot, a lot of times it's still the CrossFit flunky that you know, he's he's he thinks he's scaling down by doing a shit ton of cardio. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01He's he's he's changing trajectory in life from doing doing all that he's doing a CrossFit. But you the thing is people at the cycle bar, the cycle bar had its time. It's still it's still getting a lot of people.
SPEAKER_03Dude, that that's like cycle bar any any place like that, instead of getting a business loan, just set the money your money on fire and watch it burn. At least you'll have fun with it, or go to Vegas and just take a hundred hundred K. At least you'll you'll have a great weekend. That's like the the slow march of death. Uh companies like that, Anytime Fitness, they're so bad that Uncle Sam want you know, they they believe in giving out loans, but they do want to get paid back.
SPEAKER_01Oh, of course, of course.
SPEAKER_03So, yeah, that that that that's how like you know, it's like buying junk bonds, dude. They're not horrible investment.
SPEAKER_01You know, those types of things uh people will say that to me all the time, like, oh, you should start a physical location here or there. I'm like, that sounds like a terrible idea, dude.
SPEAKER_03Completely, man. Have you for and for a bougie and not just here in South Florida, dude, but anywhere for a good location, right? You're paying, you're you're helping pay the landlord, you're making his dreams come true. Exactly, you're making everybody else's dreams come true. I I would if you told me that, I'd be like, dude, why don't you just give me the money? We'll go buy some planet stock or or dude, it's 13 stock. At least that has a fighting chance, man, compared to most people have this love for like they don't because you know they listen to Gary V. You know, well, maybe I should open up a gym because I love working out. That's not the same, man. Those F 45s come and go, all that shit comes and goes, man. It it's it's hard to pay rent, it's hard to pay Uncle Sam, it's hard to pay everybody, man. Ultimately, in a business, you need to pay yourself first.
SPEAKER_01100%.
Resolutions Are Useless Without Specific Goals
SPEAKER_03And that's yeah, dude. I I would never tell you to open up any type of location. And a lot of times, too, when you look at these people, dude, you know, you you talked about the cycle bar. I mean, they're they're inspiring people. How man? People are three, four, five years deep going every day, and you look like shit. If I owned, like if I owned a gym like that, I wouldn't be promoting them on social media. I I'd be like, please. It's like whenever somebody has bizarre behavior that I I know that read my book. I'm like, please. If if somebody ever asks you, did you read what if it did work? say no. I think I I I do know them, but I've never had the chance to read it.
SPEAKER_01Never. I've not read it. I've not read it. No, I have read that book. I've read that book a couple times, actually. Yes.
SPEAKER_03So so it I gotta ask you though, man. Are you are you gonna change the name? Because lean in it's lean in 26, right?
SPEAKER_01No, lean in 16. So 16 weeks. 16 weeks.
SPEAKER_03Oh, I thought it was because of the year. Yeah, no, no, no, no. So how about if it's like ads, man? You know how they had they so how about if somebody markets your competitor like 14 weeks, so 16 weeks, which is good because that believe it or not, you can create habits. It's not that 20 days or that whatever bullshit.
SPEAKER_01That's just to get you in the door. That's just to get people in the door.
SPEAKER_03Or that's to sell you a poster on exactly. That's it, that's it. Calendar, like even 75 days, dude. You you asked me how I've done so many of those fucking things. I haven't created a habit where I need to read 10 pages a day, or I need to take a cold shower for three minutes, or nah, man, that's all bullshit. That's why 16 weeks to me would be a great starting point to just like building the foundation, right?
SPEAKER_01Right, right. And that's what it is. And I think at the same time, the reason why we do it this time of year is because so many people, again, they've fallen well off track. I mean, you know as well as I do, most people have fallen off track from their goals and they're not doing what they need to do anymore, and they're definitely not not anywhere that they thought they would be come March. And so it's like March, April, May, June. Okay, we got four months, okay, where you can actually not just build the habits but see some real results and then beach body beat. Well, there you go, beach body, exactly.
SPEAKER_03Well, not not Tony Horton and uh and Sean T. I'm saying you can look decent for anybody in 16 weeks, dude.
SPEAKER_01100, 100. And the and the reality is I think people are people overestimate what they can do in a day, but they underestimate what they can do in a year. And so if you just stuck with it for a certain period of time and just did it over and over and over again, of course, like that's why we have a program, that's why we have coaches, that's why we have, you know, a system to help make sure that you're not hitting these plateaus and you're working through them and you're you're staying on track. But the reality is if you stay on track with what it is that you need to do, you're going to see some results. And not just that, I think I think maybe we were talking before we even went live, but like the mindset, right? You you were talking about the two days, like the mindset is so strong. And I think that's what I that's one of that's why I love working out. But I talked to my clients about this is guys, you're gonna see results, yes, but think about how much more confident you're going to feel when you say, I'm going to do 10,000 steps every day for the next seven days, right? This is not the program, ladies and gentlemen. I'm just telling you. And you do, right? Yeah, this is not the the the program is a secret sauce, all right? You'll find that out. But 10,000 steps every day for seven days, you're gonna feel like a superhero because guess what? Up to this point, in most cases, when people talk to me, they've been gaining, they've been gaining for years, they've been stuck for years. So imagine like a lady earlier, 19 years she's been stuck at this weight, has not seen progress. She signed it today. Now imagine if she does what she says she's gonna do for seven days, whether that be eat veggies, whether it be drink water, whether that be steps with specifics, like we talked about, like specific goals. How much more confident are you gonna feel that I signed up for this program, I started this thing, and I did what I said I was gonna do for the first time in 19 years. You're gonna feel amazing. You're gonna see some results, sure. Again, that you know, we need more time than that to see some real solid results, but you're gonna feel like a different person. You're gonna walk taller, you're gonna go into work and speak to people differently, and people are gonna feel that, and they're gonna feel, you know, I'm talking to somebody who takes life seriously. It changes, it can change everything.
SPEAKER_03It gives you confidence. Yes, confidence in that you're great, you're you're better in sales. Think about it now, man. You are confident because you've been doing the work, you've been seeing the results, and you're doing it on a consistent basis. So you're not that guy, oh my god, am I gonna have to charge full price? Or how about how about if they unfollow me on on social media?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, 100%. No, 100%, and that's a good point, is I've been doing this now for this is my 11th year as a coach and uh 10th year with Guzzle Fitness. And so um you know, you you do it for so long, and people I'm on the phone with they're like, you know what? Oh, it's the price, and then I'm like, listen, you're gonna get results. If you don't do this, that's okay. But I'm telling you, you're making a mistake.
SMART Goals, Client Wins, And Hyrox Strategy
SPEAKER_03I'm telling you, so don't if they don't have the if they tell you they don't have the money, they have the money. If if they have 75 bucks a weekend to eat shitty that that wheel of death, the pizza, wheel of death, yeah, dude. You're confident enough. You know what? You know your premium, you know you show results. Do you think Disney World's like, fuck man, maybe maybe those people we priced them out, and now they're gonna have to drive to six flags. Well, they're like, let them drive to six flags, exactly.
SPEAKER_01Let them hit the road, let them take the road because and you know as well. I got more cut, I got returning customers and I have new customers coming my way. So if you're not one of those, you might just be someone that comes back down the road. That's one thing I found too, to be honest with you. That's one thing I've learned in the past probably two, three years is that the a lot of people say, Well, you know, you gotta you gotta have someone sign up on the call. Like, if someone doesn't sign up on the call, I'm not like, screw you, you and you're not, but you're not chasing them. You're not chasing for sure. But I also know in the back of my mind, I'm like, if I at least end this call cordially, I give them some feedback and I say, Listen, you're making a mistake. I respect your decision, though. Here's some resources, follow me on social. And then in three, four months, I message them. I'm like, how's the progress been with the thing you said you were gonna do? Like, I'm still in the same place. Let's get on a call. But I'll be honest, the program is more expensive. So you shouldn't do it.
SPEAKER_03Yes, because you you have to have urgency, man. 100%, 100%. And the the best part about it though, too, man, is you give them free information, dude. If if they literally took the notes of everything, I I mean, man, I I've got uh a friggin' what when I go to the grocery store, uh I I laugh uh because of your videos. Uh not not because not because I don't know what's healthy versus what's unhealthy, it just makes me smirk because it's in there. So if somebody, oh well, you know, I I can't afford it, dude. The pick they're lying to themselves. And if they really wanted to change, they'd have been watching your shit. They would have been like, okay, well, Greek yogurt, you know, they they would have been like, if then, if not, all that, and instead of, well, you know, I I I have to have the ho-hos in my house, and I have to have the Twinkies, and I I have to have all these things, man. No, you don't have to have shit. That's just an excuse, dude.
SPEAKER_01Unbelievable. And on top of that, eating that kind of food on a day-to-day basis, it's not just that you're not healthy, you're literally like your insulin receptors are toasted. You're you're you your brain fog, all kind like you you uh you're making refined sugar the minute you wake up.
SPEAKER_03The the the the fucking craziest part about this, and people can research it big tobacco are the ones that own uh craft, Nabisco, all this shit. And they know how to get people addicted. Oh, yeah. Dude, you're around, right? When they um it was Larry Bird uh with Magic Johnson. I bet you can't eat one chip.
SPEAKER_01You know what? I'll be honest, I'm gonna age myself.
SPEAKER_03Okay, it was Larry Bird. It was in uh I think it was like 2000s, late 90s. Was it really?
SPEAKER_01Okay, okay.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it you guys still didn't have dial up in Iowa. You guys were still watching baseball with imaginary players out there, right?
SPEAKER_01The six reconciled. We had like the the yeah, the yeah, the bunny years and the uh team.
SPEAKER_03But dude, it's true, man. When you open up that bag of chips, they know the dopamine, they know oh yeah, how to hit your brain that you're like, oh shit, man, this is amazing, right?
SPEAKER_01Right, right.
SPEAKER_03And it's the same, all that process, dude. It's like the new Archberger or whatever. I'm sure, yeah, it tastes amazing, man. But you have to you want to come back again and again and again because you know, and if you don't think that's that's true, or uh we were both wearing tinfoil hats. When was the last time somebody went into the produce section? And like, oh my god, look at that butter squaw, you know, with the eyes dilated.
SPEAKER_01What happened to Omar?
Brick-And-Mortar Pitfalls Vs Virtual Leverage
SPEAKER_03Man, he's got out of the the the produce section, blueberries by buy two, get one free. Oh my god, but you have you have cannolis, you have anything, you know. Oh, or the best is oh, I don't know how to shop. Well, it I don't know. There's been a million reels, and everything don't go and don't go inside the aisles, man. Stick outside, stay outside of the aisles, you'll be okay. Uh but dude, they wisened up. Have you noticed that now? They're they're putting all the bullshit, like especially like at Publix, dude, like at the entrance.
SPEAKER_01Um, no, it's like right when you walk in, right when you walk in, the the chocolates, the valet they get all it's all in the cake, dude. I was wondering why that was there, too, to be honest with you. That's so funny.
SPEAKER_03Because it got smart, because you know, people wise not, man, because you know, don't go inside the aisles. So they're like, okay, well, we'll bring the aisle to you. Okay, and dude, before, remember, like their their impulse buy shit were like those magazines and crap like that. Now it's like every frigging candy bar, yeah, that's true. Out there, man. And it's it's like, man, grocery stores are are now so they don't want to lose money, man. They want people to buy that stuff because once you buy a couple of candy bars, you're like, oh fuck it, you're gonna go into the aisle and the fuck gates are open. Yeah, dude. Get some cereal, get get some healthy tricks or you know, fruity pebbles.
SPEAKER_01You know, I remember wait, I remember eating that every single day. Like as you well know, my uh my girlfriend, my beautiful girlfriend, is the same uh background as you, a nice Colombian. And uh she, you know, she's eating chicharrones for breakfast, she's eating huevos pericos. I'm like, man, I had toaster strudel. I had frosting on top of the toaster heating up as the strudels inside the toaster, and then you you put the frosting on top, it's nice and warm. And then you might even go to Casey's General store and get like a donut with cream inside of it, and then you're off to school all sugar hide up. You go there, have a couple chocolate milks, have a cheeseburger.
SPEAKER_03It's like how about the cheese pizza, dude, for for lunch, man?
SPEAKER_01Cheese pizza. You can't beat a a lunchroom cheese pizza, and you know, on top of that, they'll throw in a cookie, some frosting. It just it's just crazy how that is normal. And so I think that if people can just make some changes, like you said, the butter rat squash isn't that bad. Give it a shot, give it a shot.
SPEAKER_03But dude, do you do have people? There's there's two methods. Do people have to go cold turkey? Or are you like, hey, I know this motherfucker is like 70 pounds overweight? Right, let's let's it's like heroin, you know how you have to wean them off and then put them on addicted to like methadone and wean them off. So so you don't dude that people crash when you're like, okay, I know you've been eating pizza every Friday and Saturday. We're gonna throw it out the window, man. Exactly. It's forever.
SPEAKER_01I'll tell you what. I when I first started off as a coach, I did that, and I would see people drop like 20 pounds in like three, four weeks. And I had this hardcore like broccoli, chicken, salmon. Like it's gonna make a meal plan for me. Like, oh, you're gonna hate life. And it was looking back at those meal plans, I'm like, I wouldn't even eat that. Like, I mean, yeah, but I would eat it, and to me, it's delicious. But like, you know, at the end of the day, if you're somebody who's on who who's off the wagon, but dude, dude, they're eating strudel because they still have those. And I'm like, hey, you gotta throw all those lunchables away, you gotta light them on fire. And and people would show they'd lose weight, and then and then, and then you knew that they had like a moment at home by themselves, you know, they had a moment with themselves because I wouldn't see them the next week. I'm like, what the hell happened? They just lost like 20 pounds. Then the next week they came back, face a little bit more bloated. They've come back for two classes, and the next week, one class, and then they're gone, right? I had one guy that literally he was in Food Addicts Anonymous, and I went in his house and we were throwing away everything ice cream. And I remember watching him as I threw the ice cream in the trash, I saw the look on his face. And the look said, the minute this guy leaves, I'm taking that right out of the trash can. I'm gonna eat that. So I took it out, I just read his mind, I took it out, and we put it in the sink and we turned that faucet on, and it's just melting the ice cream, and it looked like he was his soul was crying. And did he see results? No, because no, then he fucking hated you.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_03Because it was like when you go cold turkey like that, too, you're addicted, man. Yeah, your brain, it's it's like coke, man. If you're you're addicted to something, once they they go without for so much and they've been thinking about it, it's it's like the dam breaks, man. Just that oh, I'm because they'll they'll tell themselves, oh man, maybe just a little bite.
SPEAKER_01I deserve it, I deserve it.
SPEAKER_03I deserve it. I lost guys like I lost 20 pounds. That's it.
SPEAKER_01You know, let's get it all back tonight.
Content, Free Advice, And Sales Confidence
SPEAKER_03Let's let's let's get a couple of canolis and zippy and just go carbo loading, yeah, dude. And all fairness, man. And what what I love about you though, dude, is you have you're realists, man. I'm seeing these reels now. I don't know how these guys get into the grocery store, but they're they're they're ripped, right? And like, oh, if you eat this, you're a fag, and all this, which is cool because you know, uh you know, you can't say that these days, but I guess you know, we're we're we're hey they're I'm old fashioned, man.
SPEAKER_01On the what if it did work podcast, anything goes, yeah, man.
SPEAKER_03But but I'm like, holy shit. And and they're claiming if you know these kids look like probably you know, yeah, young Jay Cutler, you know, they're they just started you know cycling, maybe doing yeah, yeah, they just started cycling, they had a membership to the cycle bar, yeah. Right Ronnie Coleman, like you know, beginning stages of cycling, yeah. They're they look fucking ripped. Oh, they're getting there, and then you know, they're going in without a shirt and like, do you like eating this shit? This is for assholes. Are you an asshole? Are you a weak pussy? And I'm like, man, but I'm like, dude, uh, how can I relate to some shredded 22-year-old that's telling me, hey, you can't you can't have the dessert no yeah, you can't have anything, and if you feel like you're weak, you're weak. Think about it, it's like, yeah, but kid, you're like 18, 19, man, and you don't have a job. Of course, you can work out like that, man, and you can eat clean. And you know, it's it's easy to mo, you know, once you fall off, dude. I I I have to be mindful. I because you know, I go up and down, and this time I'm like, I always lie to myself. I'm like, yeah, well, I I love the work, yeah. But you know, I I don't want to just wake up one day and and stroke out and oh, this guy's a fat folk. No, but you don't understand. I love the work. I'm I'm you know, I go up and down, man. It's it's my thing. You know, so yeah, now I you know it's like okay, uh I'm just gonna stay. And you know, yeah, you have it's okay to eat that. And I I remember going out on a date, I think I told you this chick lost, who knows, a million years ago on its pounds. And we're we're going to like, you know, one of those friggin' Jewish delis. And of course you have to have the fucking, you know, the simple carbs and the bagel. Yeah. And the only thing healthy is like the eggs, and who knows if they're even healthy, because they probably cooked it in like fucking large or or whatever. And you know, she's like trying like looking like she has an abacus out and trying to, you know, and I'm like, just eat. Like, oh yeah, but this, you know, I I might gain my weight back. And it's like, it's just one time, man.
SPEAKER_01Right, right.
SPEAKER_03Now, now if if the person was doing that or you know, look like Lizzo pre-the shots, I'd be like, hey, honey. Although I don't think we'd be having breakfast.
SPEAKER_01You wouldn't be out going out to tea with this young lady.
SPEAKER_03You know, I I mean, I'm I'm banned, man. I'm I'm I'm I'm a piece of shit. I'm I at least I admit that I wouldn't be with oh my be taking her for a hike. Be taking her for a hike, but it's true. I'd be like, hey, I I have you heard of Paler Goose?
SPEAKER_01Yes, yes. Let me add let me have Madge on Facebook real quick. Exactly, exactly. Shoot him a quick DM.
SPEAKER_03So we so these are all specialized plans that you have. 100%. Okay, so if somebody looks like pre-Austrian oak, you know, he has you you can uh uh dude, I at one time he wasn't I'm I'm saying before Muscle Beach, he was still just probably like, and if he's like, Can you give me 16? I I know you can help out anybody. So between that guy and okay, somebody as big as Lizzo, or you well, 60 pounds. How how how how much weight could somebody lose healthy? I'm I'm not talking about, hey, let's do a five-day fast right for for 16 weeks.
Food Addiction, Processed Foods, And Dopamine
SPEAKER_01You're talking about 16 weeks. So the thing that people need to keep in mind is is what what is your starting weight? What is your starting uh fitness level? What is your schedule and lifestyle like? Those are all three key things, right? What's the weight, what's your fitness level, and what your what's your lifestyle like? And then of course, you know, like what is the goal, right? If if you really want to go crazy, you can go crazy. But most people in 16 weeks can can on on the high end, you can lose up to 45 pounds, like if you're really sticking to it. But if you're somebody who is, you know, you just want to lose some extra weight, you want to lose some belly fat, most people could stand to lose 20 to 30 pounds and you'll look great. You'll you'll honestly 20 to 30 pounds, you're gonna look great, you're gonna feel great. But the the thing is, is that that first month you're gonna lose a lot more weight than the second, third month. So you have to take that into account. A lot of people, you know, will say one to three pounds a week in the first month, you you you know, that that would be around maybe 10 pounds. Say most people if that logic is is true. You could probably lose 15 pounds, 12 to 15 pounds in the first month, depending on how heavy you are, because it's a change. If you're not doing anything at all and you make a couple subtle changes, yeah, dude.
SPEAKER_03I'd say like if you went from like just sitting on the couch walking like 2,000 steps a day, I I I laugh because you and you and I both know that's just a self-fit bits. There's no uh 10,000 steps is only some magical number they pulled out of their ass.
SPEAKER_0110k. That's a big step goal. That's a big step goal, but it's gonna help you. You know, if you if you're at 2K, you quadruple that number or five times that number, you're gonna see some changes. But again, it's about sustainability. So, really, this this program is geared towards somebody who really wants to just feel and look better for the summer. Ideally, 20 to 40 pounds are looking to lose. If you want to lose more than that, then we have longer programs. And this we teach you how to do it. We don't just say do X, Y, and Z, and that's it. We say this is why we're doing it. And once you get down the road, that's gonna change. To your point, if you're somebody who's really far off and you're eating breakfast, yeah, watch what you're having. But if you're somebody who's lost the amount of weight along the journey, you should be changing what you're doing. You should be changing the goal. It shouldn't be like, I have to really watch it so much. You should be venturing off. You should try the processed carbs because guess what? You're gonna have birthdays and holidays and things like that where you're gonna be around that food. And so if you feel uncomfortable or you feel anxious, which I know some people do going to events like that, then you lost the weight, but you kind of lost a part of your life. Because if you're gonna skip out on events because there's certain food there, then you don't even know how to control yourself. You you're you're just you're the same identity you once had, and you haven't shifted your identity to this new fit person who has self-control. So, you know.
SPEAKER_03Well, uh after a while, you just be you you're uh this new you uh is your you because uh I mean, you know, uh okay, eight months without taking a uh a rest day. Well, yeah, that means I've been on cruise ships, I've been in Vegas, right? There's there's gyms, there's uh plenty, there's gyms all over this country and all over these ships, these cruise ships.
SPEAKER_01Oh, they're amazing gyms, too.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, man. So you know, uh and yeah, if you know you're gonna you're gonna eat the dessert, I would recommend, yes, working out, right? And you know, you don't have to drink the drink package. No, uh and the drink package never nobody ever breaks even unless you're just like a fucking alcoholic, anyways. Do you think cruise ships are like, yeah, man, we don't want to make money, we want to make we want to have everybody have an amazing experience on our dime. No, man, it's a it's a publicly traded corporation.
SPEAKER_01Oh, they make it bank too, yeah, dude.
SPEAKER_03Oh, oh wow, uh I all I need is six to eight drinks a day, and especially days when we're not on the boat. I don't know how I'm gonna cram in those six to eight. I mean so 16 weeks, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Lean and 16, that's it.
SPEAKER_03Lean and 16. You see, and and to me, I I thought it meant like lean into your goals, but you see, you're you're a forward thinker, man. Like now, the bet okay. Has everybody just forgotten about the biggest loser? Because I'm sure years ago you had people, oh, why can't I lose like 24 pounds in like 10 days? 100. Look at all those people, man. Look at there's like dude, there wasn't one everybody gained the weight back, and then exactly, exactly, and now they got the shot.
SPEAKER_01It's like, why couldn't we have just done the shot instead? Why'd I have to go through all that uh all that agony?
SPEAKER_03I I know, dude. Instead of having Bob and Jillian scream, man, it could have just been like sitting back in in that mansion taking shots, losing their hair. Losing their hair. Now there's a study that uh it it it shuts off all your receptors, and these people are gonna be like asexual too. Because yeah, they're not gonna have any urges because it it cuts off literally not only wanting that you know I need to eat, but I need to have sex.
SPEAKER_01Wow, wow. You wouldn't we we don't need to reduce that urge any more than it already does as you age.
SPEAKER_03Exactly, exactly. But go ahead, guys, you know, or or like with the guy that that blocked me, go you know, that's the snacky poo.
SPEAKER_01Snacky poo. Snacky, snacky poo, dude. You added that in there, yeah.
SPEAKER_03You know what? I I I felt like saying you're a line, man, that you used to hear. Hey, so do you want some candy?
SPEAKER_01Go back the dagger, man.
SPEAKER_03So and what what I love about you too, man, is you you're like global. It's not you, you you weren't like, oh, I just want this boot camp. I just want people local. You have friggin' people from all over the country, man. And then you go visit, you visit some of your clients, man. When I I see you, and it's not like these people live in like San Diego or La Jolla or Bale, you know, you literally visit people, and I'm like, I wonder what airport to get there and how long do I drive, dude?
SPEAKER_01Why is Tyler in the Philippines? I don't understand, dude.
SPEAKER_03You're like everywhere. Uh I'm I'm like, well, when I saw you like in Pennsylvania, I'm like, yeah, but is is he going to Penn State? Like, yeah, I'm like, Iowa's Penn State. What the hell is he in he's doing out in the woods at Pennsylvania?
Cold Turkey Vs Gradual Change That Sticks
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah, we were in the Poonies, and uh yeah, we were uh we're going to California. I went to Utah last year. Um went to go to California this year to visit Erica and have an event, and then gonna have an event in Iowa this year. So yeah, no, it's it's it's been a blessing, my friend. And it's been a long, long, long journey. But you've been there since the very beginning supporting and uh you know a plugging away.
SPEAKER_03It's a butterfly effect, dude. Imagine if I was like, yeah, just leave the fucking box there and you can leave your your cheesy Xerox copies.
SPEAKER_01That's unbelievable, right? I know, I know that's true. That's so true. If you guys don't know the story, that's what that's how we met is I went to Omar's store and I said, Hey, I'm gonna put out some some like a donation box. Do you mind if I put it out of your store? And he's like, Why don't you just come pass out some cards and like put up a table there? I'm like, Well, can I do that? It changed everything. And the guy behind the counter is like, I like have these these pieces of paper. I don't even think they had colored print on them.
SPEAKER_03And it was like no, they didn't, dude, because he he kept them for me. And I'm like, oh man, I'm like, uh I'm like, thank god I told I told this guy you can come to the store and do demos and meet and greets, man. Oh man. It looked it looked like I did, you know, I did the drawing, you know, it looked literally, dude, like a couple of guys were were just took a couple of bonk hits and like, hey man, let's let's freestyle this bitch. We we we need to throw on so some of these but but the miracle was did you get people with that?
SPEAKER_01No, I think it well so no because I that same guy actually helped me. He he helped me with the flyer, but the thing is that guy he he he he screwed up the flyer so many times that one time he put he he put a he sends me the proof and and it looked good, but he couldn't he did this guy did not his name was Tyler, he didn't know how to spell, and so at it set in the corner, I said$75 per month. This guy literally put$75 per mouth, and I said, You gotta be kidding me, man. Dude, and then he put Guzzle Fitness systems, and I'm like, come on, man, but we figured it out. And and so from that endeavor, no, but the thing was, is I realized I was like, man, I'm not getting people that are coming to my boot camp from this, but I'm talking to people. So what I would do is I'd say, hey, if you, you know, you know, you I think he gave me or you gave me some sort of discount card to get a smoothie, like a 50% off your smoothie, whatever. And I said, I'll give you this as long as you um leave me a review. You go on Facebook or Google and just leave me a review. And so they would do that in exchange for it. So it built up a lot of reviews. And down the road, I ended up talking to some, I actually ended up kind of talking to one girl that I had met years later, but there was a there were some people that do remember me from that, from meeting them outside of Smoothie King, and they had come to some classes, but not specifically from that. But dude, it built up character, it helped me get better talking to people, it built up my confidence from actually being out there. And um, like I said, we it was just another another step on the journey, man. That was that was very positive. And then I went on to vitamin shops and I did find clients there, and so it it all it was a stepping stone, huge stepping stone.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, no, that other Tyler guy, uh, he also used to work at uh jumba juice. Okay, so he would he would get confused and he'd be like, Welcome to Jumba Juice. Oh god, yeah, it makes a lot of sense now. Yeah, yeah. He was he was missing something. I don't know.
SPEAKER_01He might have he he might have been the one who should have uh yeah, it was hitting the bomb.
SPEAKER_03But nowadays, if if he wanted to go to a smoothie king store and and promote jumba juice or promote anything, by all means, man. I'd I'd welcome him to do that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I'm sure he wouldn't mind that. He he you got a lot of friends over there at Smoothie King.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah, dude, completely. Man, right before starting your class and all that, I hear guys like Smoothie King, Smoothie King. And I'm like, huh? And it was this guy in his like 60s, he's like, Man, how you been? I haven't seen you. He was sitting on the wall. I'm like, he's like, You how's the stores? I felt like saying, uh, did they burn down? Jeez, jeez, it was a good reminder because you know, he was cool about it. I didn't want to say anything, like, yeah, man, everything's cool. So, you know, there's always a reminder, man.
SPEAKER_01There is, there is.
SPEAKER_03Besides, man, I learned how to be an entrepreneur for 20 years, right?
SPEAKER_01No, it it's true, man. It's a stepping stone.
SPEAKER_03Exactly, dude. You know, and you know, my my obituary, I didn't want it anyways to say, well, man, he did sell sell sugar water, this heavily discounted sugar water for 40 years or 50 years or whatever.
SPEAKER_01You gotta move on. You gotta move on.
SPEAKER_03Exactly. Exactly. So can they is is there like a six? Can somebody join like today and then someone else joins next month, or is this like a hard start and a hard finish?
SPEAKER_01So we are trying to do a hard start because we we are we are doing a heavily uh lean price. We're doing a lean price for this lean 16 to to stop all the excuses. So um we're only taking on five people and it's supposed to start on March 9th. So we want to keep it all coordinated, right? We want to keep it all like organized. But if somebody really wanted help and they they mentioned this podcast and they mentioned the one of it work podcast, we would hook them up. We'd hope.
SPEAKER_03Well, ty Tyler also knows that I I love them enough that I don't I don't make them wait for for an episode drop or or whatnot. So good for you, man. Good for you. How about if I was like, oh shit, man, May, we're gonna hit I'm joking.
SPEAKER_01We're hitting yes, I appreciate that.
Realistic Fat Loss In 16 Weeks
SPEAKER_03We're dropping this in in May. We're dropping it in June. No, man, that's good. You know what where were you years ago, man? I would have but and it you don't have to be local, clearly, because you had is this all through Zoom, or is this like you are you and your coaches gonna call people and hold their hand?
SPEAKER_01So we we all of our all of our uh programs are virtual, so we do it through a variety of methods. Namely, we have uh we have our shees. We got we have got our community, we have got our app where we basically service the program. We do have um you know virtual calls through Zoom, depending on which program you decide would work best for you, what kind of accountability you need. Um, yeah, we we utilize everything virtually though, just to make it easy because the reality is adding friction to you going to the gym usually means you're not gonna stick to it. Like if you're struggling right now to go, we don't add that friction. We typically will do like workouts that are convenient. We have a lot of people that travel a lot, so we have to make it convenient for them to be able to do on the go, do wherever they're at, do it at different gyms and things like that. So um, yeah, man, it's all virtual. Make it as easy as possible when everybody is in the program. So, yeah, any anywhere you're at, you can join this and you can see awesome results. And then you can come visit us down here in Florida on vacation.
SPEAKER_02So five people.
SPEAKER_01Five people, yeah.
SPEAKER_02How about if you get like 20 people? Are you gonna tell the other 15 to press on or more than likely, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Because again, it's an easy thing.
SPEAKER_03Dude, what I what I love about you, man, you're you're a man of your principles. You'll be like the next one. That's it.
SPEAKER_01That's it. You you you have to wait for the next one, so get on it.
SPEAKER_03For sure, brother. So I know how to social media stalk you. Um and you know I do watch literally everything on TikTok. I watch everything on Instagram as well as Facebook. I I sometimes throw a like. So sometimes I'll warm up you. Yes, just because you t or sometimes I'll throw uh a kudok just to to warm your heart because you know you're like then why don't you ever like it then?
SPEAKER_01Exactly.
SPEAKER_03He gets your stuff, man, and and you give up you're always in service. It's literally good stuff, it's not like the other stuff that I was talking about. You're not work shirtless telling people to quit being a dick or quit being a puss. And so so how do they find you, man? How do they social media stalk you and how do they get in touch with you, brother?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you guys can uh reach me on Instagram at guzzle fitness underscore or Tyler Guzzo on um on Facebook or at Guzzle Fitness on TikTok. Uh, you can just search Tyler Guzzo and you'll find me. You'll find me anywhere. Just search Tyler Guzzo and just reach out if you want to get him get in a part of this. Uh just uh mention the word lean and then mention this podcast and uh we'll get you in.
SPEAKER_03What I love about Tyler though, he knows I'm from the old country. I'm his neighbor out there in Espania to Italy. He let he lets me do the pr the actual pronunciation of the old country of Gozo.
SPEAKER_01Tyler Gozo, yes, yes.
SPEAKER_03Omar one one final question, brother. What words of wisdom do you have to that person that's already checked out? And he's like, maybe 2027's my year.
SPEAKER_01Wow. What advice would I give someone who's already checked out? Well, you got a long way to go, I'll tell you that much. So you're gonna waste a full pretty much a full year. Um, and you gotta ask yourself, why are you so afraid to reach your goals? Why are you so afraid to take the next step in your life? When I moved here from Iowa, I said to myself, if I move down there and it doesn't work out, then that means that it's my fault because I didn't give in my all. I put myself in the best position possible. You wrote the goals down, you visualized all December, you said what you were gonna do, you probably got a gym membership, you probably signed up for some business course, and we're here now and you're giving up. And so the reality is instead of worrying about all the things that can go wrong, start to focus on what can go right and you'll you'll you'll start to take action because right now you're stuck in a negative spiral.
SPEAKER_02That's a mic drop moment.
SPEAKER_03I appreciate that, and you know what, man? So all those people, I'm sure there's a lot of hate in Iowa, and and not because you're a bad person, right? It's because you had the courage, you had the balls to because that that's fucking scary, man, to move 2,000 miles, yeah, a little, maybe a little more. Yeah, that's a big change, you know, without knowing anybody and saying, you know, because everybody visits places like South Florida or wherever, oh, Hawaii. You know, not many people have the fucking gumption, the belief in themselves to do that, brother. And at the end of the day, you are successful, you did do it, and you are a rock star. And then when we turn it off, we'll go find that chick and and we'll just send her plenty of hate, brother.
SPEAKER_01That's it. That's perfect. Omar, I appreciate you. I appreciate all you've done, and uh, that's it, man. Thank you.
